One of my favorite little parks. This secret gem has a small track around it for walking. It is pet friendly with leashes only which makes every friendly. The small kids playground is well maintained and the whole park is very cared for and safe during the day. The neighborhood really keeps watch to make sure everyone is safe and following the rules. The police station and fire station are next door too!

3 stars for field conditions, 5 stars for availability, bonus points for a playground. Hidden little park with 6 soccer fields (2 each size) with goals open to the public, and a half mile concrete walking trail around the park. Fields are painted for convenience so thats a plus. If it rains, Id wait a couple days to let it dry out otherwise youre going to find some mud pits. Caution to small rocks so sliding probably isnt the best idea but overall is f you want a quick option there usually one to three fields open from the half dozen times weve visited. Playground: Swings, slides, saw-horse, and a spinning climbing tower! Toilets: Port-a-potties available because the bathrooms are locked. Dog-friendliness: Plenty of room to run and play! Picnic area: Covered pavilion with tables and benches

It is a well-kept city park with a small playground with a variety of modern playground equipment in good condition: slides, a 4-person unique seesaw, giant spinning platform with climbing ropes. There are a few grills and picnic tables for general use and a covered pavilion. Be wary of coming on a Saturday in the Spring as the fields are used for the YMCA soccer league and it will be VERY busy. Otherwise the fields offer a good option for football, soccer, frisbee, etc. There is a long walking/biking cement path around the entire huge park. Bathroom options are permanent portapotty types, not always well-cleaned but not as bad as some.

Much better now then few years ago as the road going in is fixed and the field was improved a little bit...however, the field level and grass still need much to improve...still rough and hard soil under to run as soccer...not build for soccer...need to learn more from Plano how to build and maintain as soccer field and not for other product. Area is big enough for 4-6 fields to be a major or best soccer hub for northside of the city.

What a unique and fun park!! There are all kinds of fun things to play on that you dont see on other playgrounds. There are swings, lots of things to climb, a seesaw, and a climbing merry go round! The parking lot is off of a dead end road and a round a bout. Go all the way to the end of the parking lot and youll find the playground, covered picnic area and a path to walk around.

Really nice park, has some high slides and a smaller set for younger kids. Rubber like chips on the ground. Great, large merry go round (when it doesnt need to be oiled) . Usually pretty empty unless theres a soccer game.

The park is very well kept by the City of Richardson. Very quiet at the ball fields these days but a few folks are usually there enjoying the outdoors - walking, biking, running or at the playground with their kids. Its adds a 1/4 mile to the route I take with the dog(s). They have a shelter too!

There were a lot of nice big fields, which all seem well maintained. There is also a big playground that has several different play structures for different ages. As well as swings with baby seats. There are also bathrooms which is a huge plus. The bathrooms were very clean and had toilet paper.
