I ordered food for a corporate event on 10/2 for about 100 people, and the food was OUTSTANDING!! We had the Sesame Chicken, Beef & Broccoli, Veggie Fried Rice, Veggie Lo Mein, and Spring Rolls. Everyone was extremely impressed and wanted to know more about ordering for their own families. A family-owned establishment and they make you feel right at home as soon as you walk-in. This is truly my new favorite restaurant. Hands down the BEST Chinese food in DFW. The service was incredible, they make you feel like family or a long lost friend. Super attentive! The food was sooo good! Everything was perfectly seasoned. The beef lomein was the best I have had in Dallas. The beef was super tender and the sauce full of flavor. We also ordered garlic chicken. I asked about the veggies it came with and the server kindly offered to do the Hunan veggies with the garlic sauce. Uh-mazing! The sauce was so good and the veggies cooked perfectly. Seriously they know what they are doing here. Egg rolls were delicious and the hot and sour soup flavorful. I can see why they had such great reviews. This place is awesome.

This was my second visit to Lucky Bamboo. My food was just as good as the first visit. I had the Sesame Chicken. My companion had egg drop soup. We both were very pleased with our meals. Parking: The parking lot is shared with several other businesses. But there is ample parking.

First time calling in, I was blown away at how quickly they got my order. I was on the way to a friends and called shortly before arriving to pick up. This place is everything you can ask for in a Chinese restaurant. The service was immaculate. Our drinks were constantly refilled and the waiter was quick. The food was fresh off the wok and was absolutely delicious. I ordered the sweat and sour chicken and it was zesty and delectable. Lastly, the atmosphere was peaceful and serene. The booths and tables were comfortable and well spaced apart. I highly recommend this place for any meal!

I was at this restaurant for the second time today and the food was just as delicious as last time. The portion for a lunch was plenty! I had jumbo shrimp in garlic sauce. First time doing takeout tonight. Food was fresh and not heavy or greasy. The owner was super sweet and gave me an extra container of pickled cabbage (which I strongly recommend). I am coming all the way from Plano for their food. The spicy wontons are a must. Very generous and ample portions for reasonable prices (large pieces of chicken and jumbo shrimp is certainly jumbo). Update as of 3/20: came back again for carry out and continued excellent service! My mom who s extremely picky when it comes to Chinese food even liked it. Seems like it s an older couple that owns the restaurant too. The wife was so sweet and gave me pickled cabbage for free!! I can t wait to try the rest of their food. It does seem like they make everything with care. And the owner addresses me by my first name and seems to know her clients, which is a huge plus. Update as of 7/14: Alice catered for my wedding this past weekend and the food was a hit. She also called me the next day to make sure everything was okay.

We asked the locals where to go for Chinese and they instantly suggested this place. To say this place didn t disappoint is an understatement! The manager/owner was the friendliest individual who instantly connected with every person at the table. It felt like dinner with family as we chatted away and joked with them. They were very attentive, served hot and delicious food quickly, and the restaurant was spotless. If we were locals the Lucky Bamboo would be on speed dial. It won t disappoint.

I was really impressed by the food considering it was an Uber Eats order. The veggie fried rice was a great portion size, especially for one person but could definitely be shared. The General Tso s shrimp was so good!! The shrimp were big and evenly sauced. So good. They had a BOGO on the crab Rangoon which were also really good! Loved everything about my order. I definitely plan to order here again.

This place is a gem. Ordered online. Immaculately clean. The lady at the counter (maybe the owner) super nice when I walked in. You can see in the kitchen making food by order and fresh ingredients. Was given a pickled cabbage on them and she made sure I didnt leave until I got all my sauces that I wanted. Ive been a chef for 26 years and Im going to spread word of this great place all over.

This family owned and operated restaurant is our favorite place for hot and sour soup (the best in the area). They can custom make dishes for special dietary needs and the service is phenomenal. They know our family every time we come in and we are able to eat quickly and head home. It s not a fine dining establishment as they have a karaoke style large screen tv playing music videos on one side and usually sports playing on a tv on the other side, but it s the perfect casual atmosphere for us. Vegetarian options: Just ask, they will accommodate Dietary restrictions: Can provide vegan options as well as support those needing low carb/high protein broths for pre-bariatric surgery. Wheelchair accessibility: Large single use restrooms with plenty of room for a wheelchair. No steps anywhere.

This place has a lot of character. I love the decorations the food was great. Our choice for today was the combination Lo mein along with a side of eggrolls and fried chicken wings and steamed dumplings. The 4 and 5 star reviews are crazy to me. This is some of the worst Chinese food I ve had ever. Tasteless and undercooked. Literally had to recook my lo mein myself and add my own seasonings. The beef must be the absolute lowest quality that exists. The wings were a joke. Frozen wings are better than these. Will NEVER eat from here again.

This place is terrible; dont go there. I read reviews and decided to give it a try, but the food was awful, and the smell was unpleasant. When I asked to change my dish due to the chickens odor, the manager approached my table, speaking loudly and rudely. She yelled at me, claiming all customers were satisfied, and then angrily threw my plate onto the tray. It was a rude and unpleasant experience. I strongly advise against going there; it will only ruin your day.

Lucky Bamboo is a hidden GEM!! A MUST GO! I moved to the Dallas area from Long Island 1 1/2 years ago for work. My husband and I love it here but have been truly missing Chinese food. We used to order Chinese food 2-3 a month and was one of our favorites. I had tried several Chinese take out/ restaurants since we moved and had given up looking until a co-worker recommended Lucky Bamboo. The photos looked good so we decided to give Chinese in Texas one last time. I am so glad I did!! This is one of the best Chinese food restaurants I have ever had. Far better than most other top rated restaurants in Dallas or NY. The vegetables were fresh and the food was fully of amazing flavor! I especially enjoyed the house hot mustard and hot and sour soup. Can t wait to come back with friends and family and try some of the other menu items. Additional bonus: the owner is super friendly! Im very confused by the 4 and 5 star reviews. I just received my to-go delivery order, and I am so disappointed. I ordered chicken with broccoli, spring rolls, and egg drop soup. Simply put, the chicken with broccoli is tasteless. Ive had chicken with broccoli with both brown and white sauce before from other restaurants, and its been flavorful. The white sauce version of the dish I received from Lucky Bamboo tonight is bland! On the other hand, I do like my egg drop soup, so Im giving them an extra star for the soup, but please do NOT order chicken with broccoli if youre seeking the usual saucy, savory version of this classic dish.

We did a takeout order through their website. Website was easy to use, and I love the fact that I can pay at the restaurant while making an online order unlike most places. We walked in and it s a cute restaurant. We were immediately welcomed by the staff/family, and they were lovely, especially the lady who packed our order. She asked if we needed anything else, which is another rarity. We got home, unpacked our food and everything was perfect from the egg rolls to the entrees. The lady that helped me was really nice, but the food was so bad and the rankings were so high I had to leave a review. I got the beef and noodles and the noodles were over cooked and the beef was just flavorless and fatty. There was A LOT of oil in the dish - I needed a napkin to wipe my lips off after a bite. My wife had fried rice, which she said didn t have any flavor. Overall, very disappointed as I was hungry and excited for this meal based on the 4.7 star rating.

Outstanding quality! The food is delicious and fresher than almost everywhere else. The service is always kind, if occasionally rushed during a crowded time, after the rush, theyll pamper you more than you ever needed, just to make up for it. I live an hour away and this place is worth the drive. I eat here at least once a month. Also, Im not Asian, but I grew up visiting Chinatown in NYC almost weekly. Spicy garlic chicken had no spice, garlic, flavor or much chicken which given the quality was probably a good thing. Nothing but CANNED vegetables. Other dishes were slippery, sloppy messes with CANNED brown sauce. The cooks aren t Chinese which is fine if you can cook like one they can t. A waste of money at $20+ per person. I thought we had found the best Chinese restaurant ever over in Richardson, just east of 75, but Lucky Bamboo topped it. A friend of my daughter recommended Lucky Bamboo over a year ago and since we just moved closer to it, we decided to give it a try. We ordered Hot and Sour soup, Egg Drop soup, vegetable egg rolls, Kung Po Chicken (spicy), and Sweet and Sour Pork. Additionally, the sweet lady helping my husband with the pickup order gave him a generous sample of the appetizer, Pickle Cabbage, which was so good not spicy unless you eat the jalapeños. We tasted each other s soup and shared the rest. I held my breath eating the Sweet and Sour Pork. When I ve ordered in the past at many different restaurants in different states, I get grizzly pieces of pork. Not at Lucky Bamboo. Each piece was a good size and very tender. Now if only they had Egg Foo Young it would be the perfect Chinese restaurant. Update: Pictures added of more delicious food.

The wife says the chili sauce on the wontons (A7) is the best shes ever had. The egg drop soup and hot and sour soup were fantastic (and the wife usually hates those soups). The Singapore rice noodles are a 10/10 (especially if you like curry) and the orange chicken was perfect (and I know my orange chicken)! Well definitely be back

I ate here with a couple of my friends after work. This restaurant was able to accommodate for each of our needs. Though I wasnt feeling too well upon arrival, our server was very helpful and recommended several dishes that would best fit my need. My friends and I truly enjoyed the food there as it is difficult to find authentic Asian food around us. We will definitely be going back!! Highly recommend this place :D

The employees were friendly, and I appreciated them being open on Christmas. The food had a mediocre taste, but the part that will prohibit me from going back is that I threw up all night. I ordered and ate the fried shrimp. I think it s coconut shrimp. I had shrimp, fried rice, and an eggroll. Not sure which of the three had me throwing up, but I threw up all night.

Me and my friends just wanted to find a quick place to eat but ended up finding one of my favorites restaurants ever! The food was immaculate, with generous portions and authentic taste (not overly sweet and great spice options). The inside of the place looked really clean and well kept too. EVERY TIME... I get incredible service and delicious food. I tried another place nearby, but theyre hot and sour soup was extremely watery. Lucky Bamboo had the right consistency I expect and enjoy. I always get chicken and mixed vegetables, and Im never let down. But the biggest thing I could possibly compliment them on, in the main reason I really enjoy supporting this Eatery, is because every single time I walk in the door, I am greeted and feel welcomed. If I could give 10 stars I would!!! The lady that answers the phone provides outstanding service. Answers questions about food, where to order for delivery. She went above and beyond. I ordered from doordash and I couldnt get my Apt number on my order. I called and she said she would let the driver know. She also called me when driver picked up my order. Food was awesome! We live about four minutes away, so when our food got here it was still steaming hot. Ive eaten colder food fresh straight from our kitchen. The food is very good, and theres a lot of it. I had the combo fried rice and egg drop soup. I think Ive been here before, and the lady kindly tried to walk me through how spicy the sauce was. I tried to relay the information to my dad (I didnt eat it), and he didnt take me seriously He was coughing but refused to back down. She gave me something extra too.

I have been wanting a Chinese restaurant to turn to when I crave comfort food, and let me tell you folks: I am happy to have found this place. The missus and I got take-out this time, so I didnt have the time to really take in the scenery within the restaurant. I plan to come back, so I will have to update with more information! The woman I spoke to at the checkout counter, however, was absolutely charming and made the whole experience. She suggested we try the pickled cabbage, which I had not sampled before. It was surprisingly tasty. The tang of the vinegar along with the crunchy texture of the cabbage provided a fun palette cleanser between bites. For our appetizer, we had the wontons with chili oil sauce. They were delicious! The filling was flavorful and the chili oil complimented the flavor wonderfully. Dont worry if you are wary of it being too spicy. I would say the chili added more flavor than heat. I ordered the Favorite Orange Beef. Might I say--the portion is generous! The beef itself was tender and the sauce had that distinct orange flavor. It came with a portion of white rice which was not listed on the menu and I greatly appreciated! This was exactly what I have been looking for when I get a craving for sweet beef. The missus got the Favorite Orange Chicken. She thought it was delicious and I agree (second only to the beef)! It was an equally generous portion. Our meals fed us for two dinners easily. I would recommend everything we ordered and cannot wait to try other items on the menu.

Really great place. Extremely clean and very modern inside. Great service. Was nice to have the small chip appetizer which we went expecting. I had the jumbo shrimp and broccoli and its nice to have shrimp that was actually jumbo. Very fresh. Gave just enough rice. We definitely would come here again.
