Me and my family arrived at 8am and wasnt supposed to check in until 3pm I talked with Karina who was at the front desk I let her know we understood the check in time but we can for a wedding and Id rather be early than later Karina was very understanding she said give her 30 min and she would have our room ready we went and ate breakfast got back to the hotel 10am our room was ready I appreciate Karina for going the extra mile for us thank you I would like to thank Kurran also he went the extra mile as well we needed more towels and he graciously took the time to bring them to our room

Hotel seems to be nice, staff is great were nice and helpful. Room was ok. Fridge was more of a freezer than a fridge even at low settings. Pillow case was rough and not comfortable to sleep. Could not fully stay there the full stays I was expecting. Not worth the price, stayed at better for less or same with better comfortable pillows and beds. Would suggest top floors as you hear everything as well.

I was here for a week on a business trip. The staff were pleasant. The location was nice. But the room itself was poor. The shower had next to no water pressure, my bed was extremely stiff, and the AC had such a loud rattling noise that it d wake me up every time it came on and I m not a light sleeper.

Terrible Experience- rooms were not clean. There was no water pressure- Hotel is understaffed. Did not have enough towels to accommodate guests at pool area and in rooms. Worst hotel experience I ve ever had. We play travel baseball and basketball and spend 2-3 weekends a month in hotels almost all year long, so we have tonsss of experience of spending multiple nights in a hotel with kids and teams. Our kids were being very normal based on their 4-6 years of experience of being in hotels. They weren t running, they didn t break anything, they weren t abnormally loud, and tons of parents were down there supervising, but this girl couldn t handle people being in the lobby hanging out at 5pm before we were going to dinner and called the cops on us. Then, she called the cops on a different team after us for doing the same thing, similar type of kids and experience with traveling. Our parents have also had awful smelling rooms, the breakfast is probably the worst quality and selection we ve ever had, and there s been a man in a van sitting by the pool every day all day long who isn t staying in the hotel and they won t move him off the property, but they threaten to evict multiple teams of families who stay at their hotel for 4 nights. Don t stay here. We never stay at La Quinta, but were forced to by our tournament. The only other La Quinta we stayed at was awful but we thought since this was new it wouldn t be bad, but we were so wrong. Worst hotel team experience ever.

My experience was great The room was clean and neat everything was great upon check out and not receiving my 50 deposit back property manger told me it just disappear 1 thing I know 2 is fa sho anything thats on hold and that hold is released funds should appear back into the account she told me she dont know what makes me think that Im due a refund I advised her that the $50 deposit was due to be funded back to my account it was a deposit that was supposed to be refunded back that I never received and she was rude The property manager is very very very rude and her demeanor when Im speaking about my money that I spent was beyond me literally and because they are a franchise to la Quinta theres not much that the actual wind however you say the name for tthe people who owns la Quintas name theres not much that they can do so Im very upset about my $50 that I have been looking for for the last 3 weeks do not stay here they will keep your deposit.

Traveling with my sister and when we came to check in they said that the power was out so they couldn t check us in and we would have to wait until it came back on. When asked for cancellation, after 1 hour of waiting, they told us there would be a cancellation fee even though they couldn t even check us in. This whole experience was very upsetting as we couldn t get our room nor would they refund us so we would be able to get another room at a different hotel.

We stayed here for our daughter s softball tournament. Hotel was very clean and smelt amazing, rooms were great, front desk employees were very kind. Left plenty of towels in our bathroom. Breakfast was fresh and I really appreciated the fresh coffee & coffee matte creamer as an option instead of the powdered packet creamer. Just all around great experience definitely recommend this hotel Rooms: Rooms were very clean. Really appreciated the extra towels in the bathroom. I m all for detail and it was great to see the room window cleaned very well. Nearby activities: It was nice to not have to travel far for food and gas stations and it was 5min from the softball fields. Food and drinks: The best hotel coffee we ve had in a long time and we travel a lot for our daughters softball. And really appreciated the coffee matte creamer as an option. Breakfast room was constantly wiped down and restocked throughout breakfast time. Ice stations were really clean too. Noteworthy details: We had a long game break and our 1yr old was getting super fussy at noon. I called the hotel and told them the situation and they were very helpful by letting us check in early so our daughter could get a good nap in before the next game. Thank you!

My visit to this location was March17-19, 2023. It was for a friends birthday and retirement. The hotel location made it easy to get to the venues for these celebrations. Rooms: Room was stocked with additional towels, ample hangers and the appearance was ideal. Food and drinks: There was a note worthy breakfast room. Absolutely terrible, there was hair on the shower walls and the shower basin. I went to go to bed pulled the sheets down and that same type of hair was on the sheets. Makes me think they didnt change the sheets. Needless to say I called the front desk to see if another room was available and was told no. HVAC unit rattled all night. I took video of it and showed the front desk lady the next morning and she didnt give a hoot. Definitely wont be making this my weekly stay place.

One month before my wedding, I pre-booked two rooms for family to stay the weekend of the ceremony. I used my CC to hold/pay for the rooms. The morning of the wedding, I called to make sure my family would be able to check in. The hotel said, yes, just have them tell us that you made the reservation. However, when my family attempted to check-in, the hotel refused to allow them to stay because they did not have my CC per hotel policy. I called earlier that morning to make sure this exact situation wouldnt happen and the hotel assured me it wouldnt and everything was all good. After my dad tried to use a different card, he decided not to stay and the hotel still charged my account. I also reserved a room for my uncle, but when he arrived the employee at the front desk told him no rooms were available and didnt even search for the reservation that had already been made. They turned him away without attempting to locate the reservation. And yet, the hotel charged my account for that room as well. However, the hotel never even attempted to communicate any of this to me. Rather than call when my dad tried checking in around 8 p.m., I got an email at 11 p.m. saying the hotel canceled the reservation. I was confused and called for an explanation. Instead of trying to apoligize and explain the situation, the manager critized my relationship with my dad and yelled at me saying they did not charge me. My bank showed the charge and the receipt the hotel sent also showed the charge. And this all happened the night before my wedding. If you book a room, make sure you have the credit card you used on hand or else they will refuse to let you check in. The policy is not stated online that I can find, despite asking for it. Or, better yet, drive to the next nearest town and stay there.

The front desk staff is awesome. The problem was the room. The room needed a good cleaning and some repairs. The flooring was damaged, the ceiling was damaged, the bathroom was damaged. The walls all had stains, the surfaces needed dusting and cleaning. The breakfast is lacking compared to other La Quinta locations.

Had to go to the front desk our rooms mine and my brothers room was not clean bed sheets had not been removed and no new sheet were put on the beds trash cans were not cleaned out, only one time it happened that both our rooms were cleaned out, over the weekend our rooms were not cleaned just because there was no cleaning crew or like they so just said because it was the holiday weekend of July 4th they were short on staff so our rooms didnt get cleaned and I was just asked if I wanted towels for my room and I said yes but beds stayed dirty with the same sheets which Im sorry but that shouldnt be happening.

I think the construction was rushed. The rooms are lacking in sensible design decisions. The bathroom doesnt have hanging rods, bars nor hooks for towels or robes. The king suite has 2 TV areas less than 6 feet apart with no division. There are soft cushioned seats for dining that have become stained and damaged while guests eat downstairs, the pool is very small compared to other La Quinta locations. Breakfast offerings were limited compared to other La Quinta locations but its included. The room was clean but the bathroom floor needed to be mopped well. The shower sliding door was off track. The water system on the toilet made the flushing process, a problem. Front desk staff was awesome. Even the little market was too expensive. 1 packet of microwave popcorn was $3 , but Walmart is less than half a mile away.

The handicap room is huge. Lots of space for wheelchair and equipment. One major concern is the height of the bed. It could easily be lowered by 4-5 inches by taking the legs off and sitting the box and mattress on the floor. Present mattress height is 28 inches. Lifting a handicap person that high onto a mattress can be dangerous, especially if they cannot walk or stand or they are overweight. The commode does not seem to be as tall as the handicap commode in our home. The other thing is the breakfast menu. Same thing every day. Would like a variety. Add some fresh fruit. Bananas, yogarts, strawberries, blueberries. Some toppings for the waffles. Just some thoughts. This was our first stay. We reserved 3 day . It is closer to our family.

Hmm how can I start so my boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 days. The lady at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful. She did tell us that it will be a $50 hold which was no issue. Once we got into the room it was nice but the tub had a really brown/orange stain but we just cleaned the tub and shrugged it off. Unfortunately, the heater in our room wasn t working so we basically was freezing the whole stay! It was also freezing in the hallways so I m not sure if something was wrong with their heat. They re breakfast was okay it wasn t much. Once we check out we say our byes. A week later I hadn t received the $50 hold so I call them and I spoke to someone and was told that the reason being was because I was smoking in my room. So I kinda get mad and ask her what does she mean because we don t smoke. She proceeds to say that the housekeeper was the one who reported it so I m just like okay so where the proof because WE DONT SMOKE! The lady then says (with an attitude) well we usually charge $200 for smoking but we only charged you for $50 so I m just like THAT DONT SOUND RIGHT! If I was smoking you would charge me a smoking fee correct? She then states that I can call the manager and talk to him about it. Honestly this whole thing sounds like COMPLETE BS! I DONT recommend anyone staying here. For this to be a fairly new hotel it has poor customer service and there are a lot of things that still need fixing. I only gave it 2 stars because the room was nice.

Katrina at the front desk is hands down freaking AMAZING and very welcoming. Definitely a blessing working there. We got in at 12:30 after flying due to delays and our original hotel canceling on me and my young child so i was definitely losing my mind. We enjoyed our stay and it was a VERY nice hotel!

Its been a long time since Ive been disappointed in a La Quinta, & considering that this location is about a year old now, that says a lot. Be prepared for 2 pending charges to your bank card. I noticed after check in that there was a charge pending that was $50 higher than what my overnight cost was. I called the front desk & was told that they charge that but that it would drop off when they final charge went through. Okay, no problem. I understand. What was wrong was that they dont TELL you when you check-in. Then today, after check out there is now a 2nd charge pending for what the correct total would have been. Now Im sure the 1st pending charge will drop off fully in a day or two but still. Now, let me mention how this location has NO HOT BREAKFAST & again, it was not mentioned at check-in. I go downstairs this morning & bam, theres a plate of packaged breakfast bars & muffins. I ask the lady behind the desk & it boils down to how they opened without a food license & supposedly the hot breakfast is to start sometime this week. For such a new hotel, I was surprised to find 1 corner in my room had peeling all the way down. The bathroom door refused to stay open so I used a shoe to prop it open. The tv remote was some knock-off that did not even have a menu button, just channel up & channel down. I know, third world problems, right? This La Quinta does charge a pet fee of $20 per night (up to 2 nights) which Ive never had to pay before at any other location but hey, I get it. For the extra money though, I was surprised to find no dog waste stations anywhere on the property. The lack of response to all these reviews by whoever owns this location says a lot too. I have to say, totally disappointed in this stay & hope I never have the need to stay at this one again.

The staff accommodated me with the best service. I had a reservation at another hotel and due to overbooking my reservation was cancelled. I spoke to the reservation center who directed me to the this location and although the reservationist gave me incorrect information the manager at this location corrected the situation and accommodated myself and the rest of my family. It was an amazing interaction with the staff and the check in was done swiftly because she knew I had a long day and I was exhausted. The rooms were extremely nice and parking was convenient as well. I give them 5 stars all around & I will be back!

The desk staff is friendly but not exactly the most competent. The person I was rooming with already paid for the room and they charged me again when I arrived for check in. They did fix it on check out but it wasn t much fun being held hostage by $300 during my stay. The hallways were unbearably hot with only cooling in the bedrooms. Our room was close to the elevator and I was still sweating buckets by the time I got to the door. The cleaning staff looked very uncomfortable. The rooms themselves were decent and the hotel is conveniently located next to Walmart if you forget necessities. They leave out a tray of muffins and fruit cups so technically they do have a free breakfast It wasn t the worst and it wasn t the best. I think it s a bit overpriced considering the area but it ll do in a pinch as a last minute choice.

Clean, modern, about a year old. Im a fan. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Its right off the freeway at Ovilla rd. McDonalds, Wal-Mart, Dennys, CVS, BBQ, and a bunch of other restaurants are right near by. Our room was clean and modern. This place is MUCH nicer than the La Quinta up the rd in Desoto.

Stayed her for work and when i went to go to bed the whole inside of the bed sheet has food or something dropped all over it. Pretty obvious they dont change the sheets after each guest.

Is got charged at $200 smoking fee when clearly camera showed that I was smoking outside when I when I called to speak to the manager Ashley answered the phone acting like an acting manager yesterday and when I told her about the situation she got upset and I told her she was talking very ghetto to me and she replied with you dont know what ghetto is, and whats ghetto is you leaving smoking evidence in the room I then asked to speak with the manager and she rudely told me that he wasnt on site and that I could call back when hes available and hung up in my face Asked what the managers name was she tried to be smart a** and was spelling it very slow as if I was stupid. this is the worst experience Ive ever had at a la quinta hotel. Definitely will be spreading the word and will not recommend!

I went there and stayed on 8-11-2021. the say was good considering i was just driving by .the pool was fun the laundry room was adequate I arrived around 4 pm left at 3 am a good stay TO REST . The only issue Im having is the refund they told me my card was denied so i payed cash. I get home to find out the transaction had gone thru. i cant get one single person to help me out i get hung up more than 7 times at this point Im getting frustrated cuz i cant get a straight answer on why i cant get my money back. i live 13 hr away from this Quinta to come back and get my money back . the phone number that they keep giving me is the some one Im on i finely found the direct phone number to contact them they said they were going to call me back today 8-16-21 will see.

So I stayed here back in April and left some brand new clothes in closet and they couldnt even call and inform me that I left some items. I call management and they claim they only keep items for 3 days..so I wasnt happy that they wouldnt reimburse .I know someone who works there probably took my new clothes

Me and my family had many issues with this place. They made me overpay $89 because I was complaining about bed bugs and living creatures in my hotel room. While I was checking around the room for anything I saw 3 cameras, 2 rats, 4 cockroaches, and 1 lizard. The cameras in the room were all dead and werent on at all. I saw 1 rat under my bed and the other in the window. 4 cockroaches had been found also in the window. This may sound crazy but believe me, its true. Never coming here again.
