I dont know if it will be me But the staff at the door receiving customers They didnt even say good afternoon to us, they just sat us down and threw the cutlery on the table. And I dont know why but you dont offend her or anything, really bad service and I think the managers dont see that in their employees. They should pay more attention to the customer

Not sure what has happened here, we have not visited in a long time but it wasn t what we remembered it to be. We arrived at 5:00 pm on Saturday, two other tables in the bar side of the restaurant were occupied. Sat at the bar between two spots that were dirty, food plates with food and drinks left behind. There were 4 staff sitting and standing in the host area, a few standing behind the sushi station. Bar top was dirty, so I get napkins and wipe it down where we chose to sit. Young man came to take drink order, got our drinks quickly. The plates of food to our right were picked up. As we sat there we heard the to go area talking about how one of the servers gave the wrong credit cards back to wrong customers. Behind us a server dropped a full glass of water on the floor while delivering to a table. Behind the bar, two prescription bottles were on the rack in clear view. Flies, kept coming around lighting on dirty food plates to our left. Many walked pass no one bothered to pick it up and eventually we had to ask for them to picked up. They did promptly. We ordered, two entrees and a sushi roll. Our son s dinner was delivered, but never got the sushi roll. We asked about it and the young man said he forgot to put it in the system, we told him to take it off the bill. Our food did not come until our son had finished his meal. The young man was very apologetic and removed our dinner from the bill, we tipped him based off what the entire bill would have been. I m just not sure what has changed here, but I hope they fix it. We will try it again, maybe they had a bad night.

The last 2 out of 3 time I ordered takeout crunch rolls they were soggy. I think they are pre making them. Got there within 10 minutes. They said be there within 15 minutes. I only live five minutes away. I went straight back home to eat( obviously it s sushi) and it was soggy. Been eating. Takeout crunch rolls and various other sushi items for years and it s never been soggy so idk what the deal is. Also there was only like half a small shrimp in the crunch roll and the rest was just imitation crab meat and soggy tempura, I felt scammed. Anyways maybe I ll go back to tokyos and see if they are doing any better yet .

HORRIBLE.They didnt give me chopsticks or napkins, they didnt understand what nigiri salmon meant, they brought me the wrong quantity of what i ordered. THEN, I ordered a rainbow roll and they served me another roll completely different but with same topings?? then, after complaining they changed it. The Salmon and all the fish in general was DISGUSTING, im not picky at all with this stuff but it was 0 fresh and litterally tasted like nothing and it was hard to chew. Only acceptable thing if we dont meantion the quality of the roll (because it was cut in different sizes and it fell apart really easily) was the california roll because it tasted good. AND, it was freaking expensive. They told me the fried rice was good but it doesnt look like it in that presentation tbh .

This place used to be my favorite, good atmosphere, yummy food, but as of recently.. it s horrible. The staff is made up of a bunch of high school kids, I witnessed them call each other the N word as jokes over and over at the host stand. It was so obnoxiously disgusting me and my family just wanted to leave. The raw fish does not taste fresh, egg rolls came out cold in the middle. This place has really gone down in quality.

Food is great but it s very annoying and inconvenient that you can t order ramen to go. I had to come in as dine in wait almost an hour just to get the food that I wanted to go. Would be great if something can be done about this. It s called to go for a reason I don t want to come in get a table and wait for a server to come by just to get my food to go.

I took an entire order to go, left my bag on the table and stepped out to my car. They threw away my food and refused to replace or refund until the next day. They said it was my fault for exiting without taking it with me. I was gone less than a minute!! I will never be back.

Waring makeup and trying to be cute, is only a part of customer service, when a customer asks you how long on a order, a big part of that job, your job is to have some courtesy, some decency enough in a professional way, to say, just let me check for you, let ask someone in the back, on how long on your order instead of only saying I DONT KNOW, AND HAVE A NICE DAY! SUCH ARROGANCE and no consideration for the person that may wait on the order, after all, door dash doesnt get paid by the hours!

First time here and it will definitely be my last. The service was horrible. The only reason Im giving 2 stars is because the sushi rolls were okay. The tenderloin hibachi was so tough my husband and I were wondering what we were actually eating. The shrimp was overcooked and I found a shrimp leg and shell in my lo mein which the texture was mush. If you are thinking about trying this place...dont. Tokyo is next door and they are way better.

If I could leave no stats I would. We had ordered 3 fried rice, 6 rolls and 2 drinks. Halfway through eating the rice we found a roach in the fried rice. sake has always been a place where we looked forward to going when we were in town. last night we were very disappointed when what we ordered was incomplete. we had to go and hunt for our waiter and he was no wheres to be found. when we pointed out that our hibachi rice was supposed to have chicken he just said ok. instead of taking the rice back and correcting the issue he walked away..since it was the only part of our dinner left we started eating it. as we were finishing up he brings a bowl of chicken. then on our bill charges us 5 bux for the chicken. the manager said he would only remove 20% off of the chicken since it was brought out to us. very disappointed in the actions of the waiter and the manager..Will rethink about where to eat next time...poor service..

Let me start by saying I have high expectations when I go out to eat. I expect the service to be just as good as I give. former waitress I love to cook, so its hard to find food that I cant make cheaper at home and tastes just as good if not better. Service... We had a very nice young man who was excellent at his job. Great time management skills, friendly and very attentive even though he was busy. Now the food, Im going to be polite... the food was lacking. We ordered 3 sushi rolls 12 pieces of sushi and a seaweed salad. Ive never had a seaweed salad served over the top of a garden salad so that was a little shocking, but hey to each his own. The rice on the rolls was lacking texture, at first I thought they werent rolled tight enough as they fell apart in my chop sticks. The rolls were on the warm side. Our Masago tasted old. The crab was actually good, until it was in the California roll. Im sad to say it wasnt much better than an asian buffet. Im new to the area and look forward to trying more places, however this will not be a stop on our list in the future.

We haven t been to SAKE in a long time and now we will not go back. Walked in tonight, seated immediately, we counted 11 people behind the counter chatting. No one acknowledged us There was a waiter waiting on a large table, a waitress brought out food to another table right next to ours, and a waitress cleaned a table on the other side of ours. Been eating here for years and I had expected solid service and food as usual and I was absolutely wrong! The floor was under staff and the $110 I spent on rolls came with hard rice; Harder than white steam rice I had with my overcooked Phephe special. (the rolls in which I mentioned to my server in which nothing was acknowledged) The kicker, is the gratuity @ 17% they had slapped on me. My table was 5 adults, 1 toddler & a 2 month old baby. You know there are not a lot of Sushi places in town. Ive had my fair share of sushi around these parts and I do prefer Sake every time. Service: is always on point and quick. Drinks are never ending. I dont have to ask for refills. The wait staff is always generous and friendly. They arent super pushy. They give you the time to chat and figure out your meal choices. Food: Now Im picky when it comes to sushi & sashimi. I always try different food just to see if I like it or not. I love the dressing on the house salad. Sashimi is always served perfectly for my taste buds. Ive been places where its not quite as cold and it changes up the whole thing completely. Experience: Overall its great. I will always come back to Sake for the great food, prompt service and the atmosphere. P.S. I do find it odd that you can hear the kitchen music over the dining music. Especially when its 2 different genres and songs. Its funny to think about at first but then it can be distracting. (distracting for me)

My boyfriend and I have been here multiple times and like the food. Most of the sushi rolls and drinks are very tasty. The reason that I took off one star is that the service is always sooooo slow even on days with only a few other customers. One time, we even had waiters argue about who was going to take our table in front of us, and another time a hostess said that she was saving the booths for bigger parties even though we have sat at booths multiple times before with just the two of us. I have worked in a restaurant before, and we would never have been allowed to say that, so I thought it was quite rude. .I will say that the last time that we went, the service had improved, so hopefully, they re training their employees to do better.

We went for a birthday party. It took two and a half hours from start to finish. The drinks did not come out correctly, the food was cold when it came out. Not all of the food that we ordered came out. It took us 30 minutes to straighten out the bills because none of it was on the correct ticket. Apparently they have issues that need to be resolved. People in our party literally ate none of their food because it was cold.

I use to love sake. But they have gone downhill when it comes to customer service. We sat down at 5:20 and ordered 5 minutes into being seated. Our drinks came and 30 minutes later I had to ask another waiter for refills. We saw our waitress 3 times, nobody else checked on us. We received our food at 6:30. They said they were going to give us a discount because of the wait. I guess that 3 dollars was enough for an hour wait for food and no answers as to why other people that got there after us were getting their food. Definitely won t be back for a while. I ll continue to go to Koi in Beaumont.

I went to Sake more than 10 years ago and have an outstanding experience. I was thrown back when I walked in and there was a dirty paper towel on the entrance floor and it looked unswept. (Should have turned around right then) We were given a scan card menu that didnt work. When we asked our waitress about it, she said they had been having issues with the scan card menu and then proceeded to bring us menus. We wanted to order drinks and asked for a drink menu, our waitress told us we do not have drink menus! We asked what type of drinks they had. She gave us 3 suggestions. We asked for a top shelf margarita on the rocks and after saying they could make anything we were told they could not make that but they had an open bar. After so many let downs, we decided to leave. Love sushi, but lately Sake has been really horrible with their services. Two weeks ago my boyfriend and I ordered take-out. When I arrived told the host my name and that I have a pick-up order. She kept looking and then asked the young lady who was at the cash register about my order. They informed me that theyve given my order to the wrong customer. I was really upset because I had to wait 15 minutes for my order. When my order shouldve been ready once I arrive for the pick-up. Last week, my boyfriend and I wanted sushi again. Called in for our order they said itll be 35 minutes. Once we arrived... my boyfriend said hell go inside and pick-up our take out order. He walked in told the host that its under my name. he saw the bag with my name on it. He told the young lady that the bag is on the counter. She told my boyfriend that it wasnt. How are the employee to tell him that its not our order when my name is written on the bag!?!?! He was really upset because the employee didnt even bother to double check. This is the worst service weve ever had. Were not coming back to Sake anymore due to the service. Japanese food restaurant where they have a very good variety of sushi and ramen. The prices are competitive and it is of very good quality. Recommended for dinners as a couple or alone if you are looking for a good Japanese restaurant.

The prices went up considerably. The smoked salmon on the NY Roll tasted raw. The quality was not what it used to be. Still decent food and wonderfull service.

HORRIBLE SUSHI. I ve had better sushi from a grocery store. Prices on the menu here aren t up to date, so when I sent the order I wanted to my wife to pick up the receipt was over what was expected. The sushi rolls break apart when you try to grab them, the speciality rolls look far from special. They tax $10 for a basic roll and it is a complete let down. Not a single box for take out was even labeled. It was like a guessing game at what we were eating. WAY OVER PRICED FOR THE QUALITY. Just spent $80 on sushi that I wouldn t even feed to my dog. Not authentic at all, I would NEVER go back here. I wouldn t recommend this place to my worse enemy. Either these reviews are fake or Port Arthur has never had good sushi in their lives before.

We arrived around 5:20pm on a Saturday night and got seated immediately, wanting to celebrate my birthday. The hostess was polite, but once seated we were completely ignored. There were only a few other tables seated and we made eye contact with hand gestures x3 times after waiting 12 minutes to receive any type of service. No drink order was taken. After waiting so long with no service, we decided to leave and informed the hostess and other employees next to her. Very disappointed because we love this restaurant but we will not be returning back.

Bartending staff was inattentative and slow. Was charged incorrect price for several daily special items, and also items that were never delivered to the table. When I asked for the ticket to be updated and corrected, I was assured they would be right back with a new ticket. After waiting for some time, the server let us know it would be coming soon. After waiting longer and seeing several other tickets being processed, I decided to go to the bar myself and get the ticket. Bartender took this personally and had quite a bad attitude. Will not be going back. Food was okay, but much better value and taste elsewhere, and service was absolutely abysmal.

The sushi here is so mediocre. I would say this is fast food sushi. Like McDonald s version of Japanese sushi. Paying $10 for a sushi roll like this is disgusting. There needs to be a sushi chef at this location too because they don t know how to do the rice correctly. Just make a trip out to Houston if you want real sushi.

This place was great when it opened and for a while afterwards, unfortunately it has consistently went down hill. We just left without eating because it took 15 minutes after we sat down just to order some beverages (water with lemon) took another 15 mins to get the water delivered without the lemons, we placed our dinner order same time we ordered drinks. Watched two different tables that sat down after us get their drinks a food, while I also watched our food just sitting there waiting for a waiter to deliver it to the table for about ten mins. So yeah we left. We wont be back. Lame. Sometimes you cant shop local bc local is trash.

Alright, this spot was tucked away in the corners of PA that I knew not existed. I was like OMG ok now to the Goods: atmosphere- relaxed, roomy, intimate & inviting. Service- attentive, knowledgeable of menu, cool & helpful. Food- somewhat diverse selection on the menu, good tastes, hefty portions & fulfilling. OVERALL: this is my 2nd trip overall in the same month & I enjoyed both visits. Will be dining again

if you re in the mood for sushi, this is the place. the atmosphere is great and there are so many options to choose from. and i like to have something warm and cooked like egg rolls or fried rice to go along with having raw fish and they have AMAZING egg rolls and bento boxes here. our go-to sushi was the crunch roll and the yuki komo roll. seriously, if you re wanting a place to eat after church or a night out this is a nice place to go to. love it :))
