We were an hour after it opened during the week so it was not busy. The restaurant was clean and plenty of parking space. The young lady who took our order was very friendly, helpful, and pleasant The food was delicious and they were willing to make correction to an order with no hesitation. Also, there was a good variety of breakfast foods on menu. I m definitely going back.

They charged me $15 for French toast. I didn t get eggs or meat with my food I went home hungry. I can t believe I just paid this much for literal BREAD. Waiter didn t check on me so I could tell him I am beyond confused. Go to Eggsquisite cafe in Allen we loved it there.

We got there 40 min before closing and very welcomed. Had yummy poached eggs, avocado on sourdough. Son had traditional breakfast and husband had a farmers skillet with lox on side. We all loved our food and brought the yummy Sourdough bread home. Fruit served on aide was a yummy fresh fruit combo with strawberries, grapes, blueberries, and this really sweet melon, maybe cassava? Bathrooms really clean, atmosphere so nice and excellent service from the time we walked in until we left. Dietary restrictions: Customized everything perfectly for us to be able to stick with our diet and count WW points.

If you havent been to Scrambler Cafe, youre missing out! The restaurant is clean & inviting. Mrs. Sharon makes you feel welcome from the moment you enter until you leave. The staff is just as kind. Last, but certainly not least, the food is amazing! The menu has something for everyone- chicken & waffles, French toast, omelets, paninis, burgers - youll find something youll love!. Parking can be a bit tricky, because the restaurant is busy busy, but its worth the walk. Its also a family restaurant, so be prepared for a little noise. Ive gone twice in one week, & I look forward to going back!

I have gone to this place twice. Both times have had issues. The first time, the service was just ok. I order a Chicken Fried Chicken breakfast. The chicken was literally like rubber. Its like they tossed a frozen chicken breast in the frier it came out tough. For Mothers day I went up to grab a few items to go. It was busy when I got there and they staff at the front, two ladies, were not handling the busy situation well. First I was told they are not taking togo orders. My first thought was what if I just order online? With my hesitation, the girl then says ok I can get a togo order. After ordering I wait. I waited a bit to check on the order and when I did the older woman tells me its not ready yet. I simply ask how long they think and she responds with a very condecending, I dont know sir maybe 10-15 minutes. I think they need to do better about treatment of customers when its busy. And they need to recheck their food quality. I couldnt even finish the chicken frid chicken.

OK yall, this ones for the foodies. Our server Kristian was absolutely amazing kept drinks full and was on he toes. She did absolutely amazing Tha k you for providing and being us a smile on a horrible day. Also the food was fantastic. Very delicious, full of flavor. The Smoked Salmon Benny was one of the more pleasant experiences in recent memory. The chef probably does not know Mr Scrooge. The salmon was layered generously in twice the amount that is common place elsewhere. The Hollandaise sauce truly smothered the main ingredients. We had requested firm yolks and we were not disappointed at all. The Tuscan Scrambler interpreted scrambled eggs in an unfamiliar (at least to my limited) experience. It was more like a chopped omelette perhaps owing to the veggies. Once again (but not surprised that) the olives were Kalamata and not Tuscan. Perhaps, the equivalent menu item from the Skillet or Omelette sections would be indistinguishable owing to preparation techniques promoted by the franchise. The coffee was acceptable but the espresso did not have the concentration and the temperature that I am accustomed to. The service was fine but seating customers on torn upholstery is a clear mark of disrespect by the manager when other booths were vacant. Terrible experience at Scramblers Cafe on Independence. My family of 4 arrived about 9:45am and were sat down to wait for an open table. A table opened up right next to the hostess where we were sat during a previous visit. A party of 3 arrives after us and the hostess (the older lady) gives them the seat while my family continues to wait. It gets worse. We were finally offered a seat (maybe 10 mins later) in an area that had a LEAK coming out of the ceiling. At this point I told the older hostess that I saw her sit a family that arrived after us and I thanked her for her time and we left. Im not saying Ill never go back but that left a bad taste in my mouth for this location.

Wow! Perfect Avacado Benny. The coffee had body and bold but wasnt bitter. Friendly staff. The kitchen crew turned our quick stop into a memorable afternoon. Food came out cold. We asked for the food to be warmed up. They brought our food back without the meat , no salmon just eggs and bread. $50 for an English muffin and an egg. I recently visited Scrambler Cafe for breakfast, and unfortunately, it was a rather disappointing dining experience. While I must acknowledge the exceptional service provided by my waitress, Nadia, the quality of the food simply did not meet my expectations. Lets start with the positives. Nadia was undoubtedly the highlight of my visit. Her warm and friendly demeanor created a welcoming atmosphere, and she proved to be attentive, professional, and knowledgeable about the menu. She consistently checked on our table, promptly refilled our drinks, and addressed any requests we had with a smile. Nadias exceptional service truly elevated my overall dining experience, and I commend her for her dedication to customer satisfaction. Regrettably, the food failed to meet the same standards set by Nadia. I ordered a classic scrambled eggs with bacon dish, and the first thing that struck me was the lack of seasoning. The eggs were bland and lacked that savory punch one expects from a breakfast staple. The bacon, usually a crispy delight, was disappointingly overcooked and dry. The accompanying hash browns were under-seasoned and lacked the desired crispy texture, further diminishing their appeal. Additionally, the portion sizes were dishearteningly small for the price charged. It felt as though I was paying a premium for average, if not subpar, breakfast food. The overall quality did not align with the reputation I had heard about Scrambler Cafe before visiting. Despite the food disappointments, Nadias excellent service undoubtedly left a positive impression on me. Her attentiveness and professionalism deserve recognition and significantly elevated my otherwise lackluster experience at Scrambler Cafe. In conclusion, while I cannot recommend Scrambler Cafe solely based on the food, I would certainly visit again solely for the exceptional service provided by Nadia. I hope that the management addresses the issues with the food quality as it greatly detracts from an otherwise enjoyable dining experience.

Me and my family s first experience here was interesting! The food was great, wait time great, but the service from our waitress (Perla) was very disheartening! She seemed a bit annoyed and it was very obvious but still did her job but in the end she wasn t pleased with her tip and decided to tell us to keep it because she works too hard to receive the amount she did. She thanked me for leaving a 20% tip but expressed her frustration with my elderly relatives who were visiting from out of town. One family member decided to tell the manager and she came to the front to continue to explain herself in a very rude way! That interaction left them feeling very hurt and confused and we will not be back to this establishment! What s even more hurtful is one of the younger family members didn t have cash and was preparing to see how she could bless her with an additional $50 tip on behalf of serving her mother and family but her rudeness also left her hurt as well! I d never treat anyone like that regardless of my frustrations on the job! It s not the next tables fault if you were having a bad day! Please do better! And treat people better!

We ordered a Denver omelette, grits and toast, Eggs Benedict and grilled potatoes, and coffee.The Denver Omelette was absolutely the worst I ve ever had, The vegetables were raw, not sautéed. The bacon bits hard also. My husband s Eggs Benedict were better. The eggs and hollandaise sauce were very good good, but the ham hard as nails. I spoke to the Manager who was less than sympathetic. She made it seem like it was our fault since we ate some of it. I said IHOP is better so she suggested we go there instead! So we will!

I ordered delivery for breakfast. Over $40 from grub hub in Plano location. One order was for Avocado Benny. No avocado. Talked to the manager, she said there was no one to deliver correct order, it wasn t grub hub s fault, but the kitchen. Said all she could do was tell the kitchen to be careful. Asked if someone could come get the avocado. Told her if my husband didn t have cancer and a blood clot and me with a broken hip we d have come in person. Said next time tell them they could take the avocado off the bill if there is a next time .very disappointed.

Honestly i ordered the iron man with salmon and i was very disappointed. It looked alright but a very small portion for something being $19 and the salmon didnt smell or taste right. Went here with my family for a Saturday breakfast around 10:30am. There were some seats available, and we were promptly greeted and seated by the friendly staff. While we were selecting from the menu, one of the staff members asked to serve us something to drink. As for the food itself, we thought it was some of the best pancakes we had. The very berry pancakes and the very berry cinnamon toast was great! Our 5yr old loved his Mickey Mouse pancake as well. All in all, a great experience. Well be returning for sure!

Their homemade biscuits are freaking awesome. My son had the chicken strip and fries and it was huge portion ( price vs portion = spot on) Only issue was the chicken and fries tasted like oil and really had no flavor( not oily texture just oil taste) hoping that was a fluke or just how new setup start out. Didnt have the heart to tell them when manager came to table to see how the experience was. The sweet tea was great and I tried my first penini it was hot and fresh with lots of chicken and meat. It was good but not something I would try again anywhere else either( just not fav ,and I was trying something new) but those biscuits are great so next time will be a breakfast menu for me. Staff is exceptional, atmosphere and decor were TOP NOTCH! I have to go back again soon cause my wife Is jealous I went without her.

Fruit was fresh, but the avocado on my toast was completely brown, and everything lacked a bit of salt. Definitely not worth $15. If I ever try again, I would go for a sweet breakfast option.

Absolutely love this little diner -were there almost every weekend, sometimes both Saturday and Sunday. They seat people pretty quickly and always make us feel at home. Weve tried just about everything on the menu. The food is tasty, never overly salty or greasy like other restaurants, and they are generally fast to serve. The wait staff are attentive and friendly. We also enjoy the cute holiday decorations.

I have been coming here for years I will never come back. I order breakfast for me and my family Garden scramble Meat lover scrambled French toast plater The other platters was good until I open my meat scrambled the meat was dry and there was no egg or hash brown. I called scramblers and the whole experience with horrible. I was passed on from mananger to employees back to management. There attitudes was horrible. All I wanted was to exchange the 1 meal and they made it harder then it needed to be. I didn t have to bring the meat scrambler back to scramblers. I took the meat scrambler back so I could return and scramblers could visually see what my complaint was. I switch the meat scrambler for a garden scrambler with chicken and ordered my son a garden with chicken. Scramblers charge me for my meal and another meal when I was inconvenience when I had to drive back 10 miles. I could ve been compensated for just my meal but I wasn t. It s not about the money It s the principles instead I had to pay a extra $23.57 for a extra platter and they charge me for the chicken added to the garden scrambler I will never go back they lost a loyal customer I wish I would ve took pics of the meat platter but I gave it back to scramblers wasn t thinking when I returned my food because of my first initial contact with management and employees giving me the run around I got frustrated.

This place is what every restaurant should strive to be: quick service, pleasant and thoughtful servers, a consistent kitchen, delicious food up and down the menu, and an efficient dining experience. My wife and I eat here at least once a week and it would probably be more if I didn t object to eating at the same place too much. I d give it 10/5 stars if I could. Shoutout to Sergio, who remembers us each time we come in. He gets us what we want before we even ask. Before it got too cold (and sometimes when it was) he was also happy serve us at the their tables outside.

I found this restaurant accidentally while looking for a place to eat. I decided to stop by. I was not prepared to have the fastest, kindest, and most efficient customer service I ve ever had.
