I tried to do a second review but it wouldn t let me so I had to edit an old review. I have no complaints about the food or service. My issue is that I haven t received a reply from the GM Robert. I visited the Pearland location with a group of ladies. Unfortunately while there, I sat in a chair that put a whole in my jeans. I advised the server who went and got the GM Robert. I showed him the damage and he said show him a receipt or find the pants online and email him a screenshot. Well I did that on 9/7 and didn t get a response. I follow up 9/17 and still no response. Today, it s 10/02 and guess what, still no response. So I figured I ll do a review and see what happens. I m a fair person. Even if he hadn t promised to replace the jeans, I would ve excepted a gift card. I love their food. Hopefully I get a response now. And of course included a screenshot.

The atmosphere is laid-back, casual, and full of southern charm. If you re a fan of spice, their food has the perfect amount of heat. Its seasoned perfectly, not too spicy but with enough kick to keep you coming back for more. The service is friendly, too.

This place is one of my favorite spots to eat Cajun food at! Hands down some of the best service in the state!! If you come here, ask for Mike! Best server under this roof! Great customer service! Very friendly! He goes above and beyond to make sure we are happy and taken care of!!

Immediately NO.. this location is filthy nasty. I mean dirty dishes all over the kitchen floor and piled up at the bar. Not to mention service was terrible our waiter kept disappearing. We didn t get our water till 30 mins later. Asked for garlic bread got that once I finished my food. This location needs major help. My whole family has an upset stomach the day after eating here.

My family eats here often and they told me about this restaurant. I recently relocated to Pearland to reopen my business in the area and decided to apply for work here until clientele picks up. The GM here was extremely rude and I could immediately tell he wouldnt be interested in even looking at my resume. (I was dressed appropriately and always have a good attitude) Im a graduate student, a small business owner, and someone who has worked in corporate settings for the majority of my career (Human Resources) and have never been treated this way nor have I ever treated an applicant this way. 3 days after submitting my application, I happened to see the GM outside and asked if he had a chance to see my resume and he responded with annoyance and arrogance. I hear the foods great though. But my experience with the Gm was horrible immediately. As a Black business owner, I would never treat an individual who was interested in helping my establishment be successful in this manner. It really is your own people sometimes best of luck to this establishment.

We would really like to keep BBs on our list of restaurants to visit. My wife enjoys going there as part of our date night activities. But, over the past 6 months or so we have been dissatisfied with the service and food that we have been getting. We have tried to stay loyal to BBs but we just don t trust that we will be satisfied with BBs. Slow service, slow getting our drinks, food being brought out in portions or at different times, no silverware repeatedly, incomplete orders and order not made according to menu. We have nicely explained our dissatisfaction to various people each time but nothing is changing. There is one waiter that makes us feel confident in getting good service but when he isn t working we know what to expect. Maybe JJ should be running the restaurant. We walked out tonight, didn t eat our food, we were so disappointed. BBs use to mean so much to us ..

If you love Cajun served with a side of cockroach, this is the place. The food was actually good, the service was mediocre, and the management response to the huge cockroach that kept walking past our table was comical. Hunter, the manager tonight, was gracious enough to kill it with a menu, offered no apologies or anything to compensate and walked back to the kitchen. Our family had the pleasure of dining at BBs Tex Orleans. The redfish étouffée was satisfactory. The redfish was quite meaty and well-seasoned. We ordered a couple of pounds of crawfish, which were rather small in size. The experience was positive overall, as the menu offered a diverse range of items. Tatyana, our server, was exceptionally amiable and provided outstanding service, making our dining experience truly memorable. We eagerly anticipate our next visit.

I would just like to say that I ve been to the other locations many times and haven t experienced customer service like I did at this particular location. When we got seated at our table we didn t receive any napkins/utensils/menus. I had to reach and grab them on my own. We waited 15-20 minutes before our server finally acknowledged us even though he passed by our table numerous times. When he finally made it apparent that he was our server he didn t introduce himself properly he didn t even give us his name. He looked like he didn t even want to be at work. He treated us like we were a nuisance and even when we told him thank you we appreciate all that you do he would just roll his eyes and left in silence. Very salty behavior for his adult age. He was not attentive with our table at all and lacked professionalism even though his uniform said trainer . When he assumed that we d pay on one bill I told him two separate checks, he then rolled his eyes at us.I tipped him exactly what he deserved tonight, $2.00. We dined on 07/19/24 at 8:00pm. We were serviced by the adult man with holes in his jeans. Dismissive and unpleasant customer service.

Went today 7/19/24. Service was terrible. Was put in a back corner and not given menus or any normal table ware. Had to get our own from a nearby table. Server had a really bad attitude like he didn t want to be there. He passed us up multiple times and didn t even properly greet us. At the end he asked how we are doing the bill and when we said separate checks he rolled his eyes and turned back to the other table to continue laughing. I find the behavior to be very disrespectful. Will not be back to this location.

I visited this location because I m a lover of crawfish. It was very busy as it was a Friday night. There was a wait but the atmosphere was jovial so no worries. The server was kind and apologized for the delay. After placing our order we were given our beverages so we were able to cool off. Our food arrived quickly and was fresh and hot!! Sooo yummy . I highly recommend the redfish and also the shrimp and grits. I didn t encounter a manager but I truly wish I had gotten the name of our server- tall, thin, dark complexion with a great smile! We went here for Fathers Day because my Husband wanted the crawfish special. We get there and its a 30 minute wait, absolutely no problem. My Husband wanted to sit outside, so we did. After about 15 minutes of no one coming to check on us. I go ask was anyone going to come out. They say yes someone is coming. More time goes by and still no one. I go back in ask to sit inside since clearly no one was coming out. We order after a few minutes of sitting. My Husband orders the crawfish and a bowl of gumbo to come out before the food, I get a shrimp poboy and my daughter a Fish kids meal. Lots of time goes by, my Husband ask about the gumbo and waiter says yea yea its coming. My daughters meal comes and then the gumbo. Our food finally came this takes about 45 minutes from when we ordered. I ask for some tartar sauce and cocktail sauce. Our waiter walks by with some butter for another table. Still no tartar sauce or cocktail sauce. Eventually he sits it down on the side of me and walks out before we could ask for napkins. I take of few bites and start to feel nauseous and my daughter says her fish and fries made her feel sick. I told the waiter, he asks if we wanted to speak to a manager. I said yes and then he comes back and says theyre too busy. Ill just tell them you didnt like the poyboy. By this time I was done and just wanted to leave. We had terrible service from start to finish and this was supposed to be a Fathers Day dinner. We spent almost 2 hours out of our day here and I still had to come home and fix something to eat after my nauseau went away. My daughter was sick through the night and the next day. And we paid the bill. Absolutely disgraceful, my child said she never wants to go back again and I agree.

First time coming to BB s despite having it recommended many years ago. I can say I was MISSING OUT! We definitely found a new fav place for boils and seafood. My husband got the shrimp and crab experience and he devoured that thing completely!! When I told him we will definitely be coming back, he said, how about Friday? This was on Father s Day Sunday lol Overall, the food was all very delicious and overall priced decently. They do have 10lb crawfish for $50 on Mondays which is a steal. Their seasoning is really good and spicy. Atmosphere is relaxed with a lot of Louisiana (specifically NOLA) themed decor. Good music as well! This was my fifth visit and it was the best. The shrimp and grits were amazing and the redfish was delicious. Everything was fresh and hot when served. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was jovial. My server ( I think her name was Tatiana) was super sweet and efficient. I had a previous negative experience here but after giving it another chance I was pleasantly surprised. The waitstaff has improved and appeared to be running the show. I didn t notice any management though. Anyway, keep up the good work guys!!

I usually visit other locations.. I ve been here before but it was lunch time so maybe that was the difference BUT today on my birthday, decided to go there for dinner.. they had no clean tables ready but that wasn t an issue.. they were busy so we just stood by the table until he finished.. sat down no one came to the table for abt 20 min or longer .. I make eye contact with with a guy and he nodded as if he was coming.. 10 min or so later a girl came took the order.. we ordered drinks,appetizer and she took the entree orders as well she left .about another 15 min later ,no drinks no food nothing a guy passing asked did she take the order??? I m like yea next I see him her and another guy at the pos system in discussion.. then she start to input an order on the Pos (I m guessing ours) .. so a few min later a guy walk pass I m like can I at least get my drink??? Frustrated at this point but when the ppl @the table next to us got their drinks a few min later their food I was DONE! I walked out.. Left looking for decent food after 9p!!THANKS!

Went first time yesterday..It could ve been better, perhaps it was the crawfish were fairly small, very dry, we never got the butter we asked for, the waitress was new which is understandable she was trying but also had a semi-attitude. which was annoying the guy training her was a 10! all across he was trying but new girl realllllly didn t seem impressed or interested, that or perhaps she was shy? Idk, but before it was all over, she did spill drinks, got all on my feet, no apology, again i m sure she was embarrassed, she also gave me the wrong ticket, again, no apology. i didn t even want to tip but I did. it wasn t as generous as it could ve been and honestly If I knew the tip was going to the guy who trained her it would ve been way better. the crawfish, eh. dry and again, we didn t get the butter I asked for twice so j just finally nodded every time bc we was trying to just eat our food then leave . . but their garlic sausage and mushrooms and fried pickles were on point. atmosphere was good, i d prob try it again if someone else was paying, just wasn t worth the drive and sticky feet. :/ for me.

Update 5.30.24 I truly love BBs crawfish and food. But the last few times Ive been to the Pearland location the service has been horrendous. I went tonight to have some crawfish and after 10minutes of servers walking past me avoiding eye contact I went to the host and asked if I should move inside or if she can get me a server. She said she will have someone come over. After 7 more minutes I finally just left. I never have these issues at the bay area one. 2 weeks ago we waited for drinks refills contestantly and waited over an hour for crawfish when every table around us was getting crawfish. The manager did come apologize that time and brought out our crawfish eventually but I was on lunch break and had to eat as quickly as possible. I wish yall could figure out the issue but until then I guess Ill have to drive to other locations or eat else where. The sauce is amazing but not quite worth the bad service.

The hamburger was a pleasant surprise - the patty was cooked to perfection, and the bread was exceptional. The BBQ sauce added a nice tanginess, and Id come back just for that burger alone. However, the fries were a bit skimpy, which was a minor letdown. On the other hand, the shrimp and grits were a disappointment. As someone from Louisiana whos familiar with this dish, I found the flavor to be off. Unfortunately, it didnt quite live up to my expectations. While I appreciate BB Cajun Restaurants effort to offer traditional Cajun dishes, this one needs a bit more work. We love their crawfish and were so excited to take advantage of a great deal we got a text about. We drive 45 minutes from home to come here, too. However, service was a huge disappointment. We sat on the patio because it was nice outside but the whole time, our server was no where to be found. We were missing sides for our crawfish but by the time we tracked her down and got them on our table, the crawfish were no longer fresh. Usually managers walk the floor and check the patrons but we never saw that. We eventually had to go to the host stand to get a different server to check us out. When the new server got our original servers attention she seemed like she couldn t be bothered from leaning over a counter talking to what I can only assume is another server. If that individual is a manager then this location should really consider looking into new management. In and out took us an hour and a half and was going to be longer had we not flagged down other employees to track our server down. Good food, terrible service.

My wife wanted to check this spot out sice were new to Houston. I ordered the catfish with Mac & Cheese. The filets were small and not seasoned well. The mac & cheese had no flavor. The only thing that was pretty good was the coleslaw. The service was great. Our waiter was very good. He even gave me another Mac & Cheese with brisket. But,still no flavor. The drinks were awesome. Now, this is coming from someone whos allergic to shellfish. Maybe I wouldve had a different experience if I could eat shellfish. My wife had a different experience.

We already submitted our feedback via the Contact Us portal, but the treatment we received today at BBs Pearland was awful. Short version: We placed a to go order, it was incorrect (no biggie), one manager attempted to take care of us professionally, but his boss did not want to honor it. The accusations, gaslighting, unprofessionalism, and later, embarrassment because he didn t want to fulfill an order/apologize/honor what was promised from the other manager was way more than we anticipated on what should have been an easy, Tuesday night quick meal. We have been going to BB s for years and without incident. We are working professionals, very reserved and did not deserve this type of treatment. I am not sure if he knows how to manage dissatisfied customers, but if that was the way he has been allowed to treat customers who do not accept negative treatment, it really should not continue. If he remains employed, please get him into some additional professional development. Not sure if it amounts to anything, but I highly recommend taking a close look at who represents your establishment because if this is the leadership you have, quality customer service is definitely no longer a value that is prioritized. Please feel free to contact me for more context. I truly hope we can come to an amicable resolution soon. I have worked with behaviors/personalities like this in my line of work, and for fear of retaliation from Chris the GM, I do not feel comfortable going into details here but certainly open to a conversation with upper management. If Chris is reading this (considering he is the GM), I would ask that he be taken off this case and it be escalated to the district manager due to conflict of interest. He has clearly asserted his perceived power in more ways than one tonight and it would be unethical for him to handle this issue considering he is the problem. I guess Ive been under a rock in a cave cause Ive never heard of this location nor the chain as a whole. So I had to go see if its hype or legit. Its legit. The star of the dinner has to be the service. Very impressed with the call and response of service and over all attentiveness. Cudos to management and staff for that. The food was a solid 8 (out of 10). The crawfish was seasoned perfectly (yall stop it with expecting crawfish to be beyond spicy and salty, you should be able to taste the meat) and a decent size. The shrimp and grits delicious, collard greens had that home made taste, bodain balls were great, the Loaded Pollo Bullets were tender and really good could have eaten 20. The location was poppin so prepare for a potential wait for your table. Reading some of the one star reviews, their misleading, you cant give a one star review based on isolated mishaps or personal unrealistic expectations. I wanted oysters on the half shell and they were out of them, that does not warrant a one star review. See my point? Now its time to see what the other locations are about. I will definitely be back and try more items. If you are in the area, stop by and give it a try. Good job BB. This is very disappointing!!! Ordered 5lbs of crawfish for the Mothers Day special. Why is there a piece of mesh nylon net in my damn food?!?!?! My daughter almost ate it. I paid for extra sauce, yet there was none! There were only 3 Broccoli in the 2lbs of greens I ordered, and the green beans were tough. I usually go to the Richmond location and they definitely are way better than Pearland!!! Just ruined my dinner!

Ive been a fan of BB s food. I m more of a bar sitter &love the crawfish here, and have been discouraged about my experience with this particular location from past encounters. Today I met the best bartender s by far in the years of me being a customer. They go by the name of Jennifer and Darnay. First...if i could give this place a zero i would. When I walked in no one said anything to me. I stood at the counter to order for 10 minutes while workers went back and forth. I ordered 2 lbs of crawfish and a crisp fish plate totaling $44 which didnt have any taste to it when i got home. More importantly 2 lbs of crawfish added up to be 18 total of them at $11 per pound and the girl didnt give me a receipt. I will NEVER EVER go to this place again. Be aware when you go there...you will get hoodwinked. They need to be shut down on how the conduct business for over-priced products. Again, Beware...this place SUCKS!!!

Chris is an extremely poor example of leadership. Not only did he lack the ability to adequately communicate and utilize his team, but his lack of professionalism was extremely surprising to be a General Manager. A few specifics to note regarding our experience: -Two nights prior to our visit today we placed orders via a food delivery app to which both orders went unfulfilled. Large portions of the meals were missing. -We were then invited back by Sean to turn the experience around, to which we dined in today and unfortunately the experience was just as bad -Chris prematurely judged the situation, to which his preconceived notions kept him from being able to exemplify adequate customer service. Instead of apologizing for our previous experiences and having the desire to turn our experience around. He immediately went into what he wouldn t accommodate regarding our meal as if the intention was to receive free food -Upon being seated, it took 15 minutes for our table to be properly greeted -An additional 15 minutes went by prior to our orders being taken. Resulting in 30 minutes of dismissive and unpleasant customer service -In addition, a long strand of hair was found in my meal to which my meal had to be remade Ultimately, not once did Chris approach our table to inquire how the experince was going or if there was anything further we needed. It s baffling that someone who lacks competence and expertise to his degree was elected to represent BBs as a whole. Very disappointing. Nonetheless, our waitress Lexi was by far the BEST part of our experience. She was kind, attentive and empathetic throughout our reservation.

I came to this location on 4/7 around 6:30/7pm. It s wasn t too packed but there was a nice decent crowd there. I was seated at my table where I waited 10 mins before I was even acknowledged. A server than comes to my table to ask what I would like to drink, I told her and mentioned to her that I was ready to place my order. I then begin to tell her and I guess something was going with her computer as she tapping aggressively on the screen as if something was wrong with it. She then went to excuse herself and goes back inside. I m thinking she s getting another computer. She then comes back out towards my table and then just turns back around and goes inside. I m there sitting another 5 mins with no drink no water, no update, no nothing. She then comes back out and goes to serve another table right across from me. She brings out their drinks and then starts to take their order. A few moments later, a server (Ryan) comes to me and asks if I had been serviced. I mentioned that I was not sure due to the previous server abruptly leaving. So he takes my order and goes back inside. He returns shortly to inform me that what I requested was no longer in stock. So I literally sat there for 20 mins with no drink, water or anything just to be informed that they no longer had any crawfish.

Went in for dinner at 8pm on a Monday night. After waiting to be approached by anyone for 10 minutes I asked a waitress if our table had a wait person. She came back a few minutes later and had discovered that we were her table. I ordered a Margarita. She said they didnt have the liquor to make a Margarita. So why are there various margaritas on the menu? And I dont believe that for a second! She left to take another table their check, and we left and had dinner elsewhere. We love BBs in other areas of town, but never again in Pearland!

I have been to almost every bbs in texas and this one was the absolute worst service I have ever gotten! We had to ask where our server was in order to even put in drinks. We watched all the people that came in after us get their food before us. I asked to speak with the manager and he mentioned he would be taking a percentage off our bill. My husband and I came in for lunch on a Friday and were practically ignored. No waitstaff at host/hostess stand. We waited, but nobody sat us, so we sat ourselves. We waited and waited again till a server finally came and asked for our drink order. While waiting a long time for that, we could see other guests looking around, like they needed a server, but couldnt find anyone who cared enough to help. At that point, we just left. We will never return to your so called restaurant. There are plenty of other places to eat where we would be appreciated.

I would give this place negative stars if I could on service. The only reason the rating is so high is because my Crawfish boil was outstanding. We sat outside and waited 20 minutes to be waited on and got our food before we even got drinks. We had to nail the server down and beg him to get the rest of the things we ordered. They brought 3 out of 4 meals and my friend waited another 20 minutes for his food. We spent 2 and half hours here mostly looking for the server. Will not be back to the this location.

We went for dinner last night and sat at the bar while we waited for a table. We were originally told it would be a 45 minute wait, but there were only 4 other people there waiting. We opted to wait anyways. While sat at the bar another patron was given his bag of crawfish which had potatoes in it. He let the bartender know that he had already been told potatoes were not available because they had mold on them. The bartender took the bag back to the kitchen. The manager came back out and informed the patron that the mold was only on the potatoes but they had gone into the boil that was being used for everything else. We left and went for something else. Blows my mind that somebody threw moldy food into the boil with everything else. Not something you see every day!

I intially called them before arriving and asked I there was a wait. I was quoted 45 mins - hour. Also, I could not join the waitlist unless I was there. Upon arriving before me & my fiancé walked in, a couple warned us not to go in. They stated it took them an hour to get their food and drinks from the bar. We were waiting 5-10 minutes when we got in. We got sat and were told they would be with us shortly. Never even got any water. After about 15 minutes we left. I was very disappointed. Was in today with 2 of my co-workers for lunch. We sat at a booth near the bar and were not acknowledged by ANYONE for what felt like 5-7 min!! There seemed to be only 1 server out in the floor and one behind the bar. There was also a male (possibly the manager) behind the bar who finally walked over to tell us someone would be right with us and walked away. The least he could ve did was take our drink/appetizer order. Fine. The waitress comes by, she was really nice, took our order, took some time to bring us our non-alcoholic drinks!! We ordered our food at 12:22pm and at 12:50 we still didn t have our appetizer!! When we asked about the appetizer she went to the kitchen and returned with the pickles. We asked how much longer since we were on our lunch break?? She said she didn t know and returned to the kitchen. Our food came out at 1:05pm. We had each ordered a lb of boiled shrimp. That s all we ordered!! The service and wait time just really blew me away!! There were other people looking around as well (impatiently waiting) for their order to be taken. For a few minutes all 3 employees were no where to be found! Someone could ve literally walked out on their tab and they wouldn t have known. The food was good, but the wait time was just outrageous!!!! Servers please at least just acknowledge someone when you see them sit I ll be right with you is not that hard. I really like the food here, but today was probably the worst service I have ever received. We still left a good tip despite the bad service we had. Better management/service is needed.

Went to BB s TexOrleans on Broadway last night. It was NOT GOOD. 6 of us in our party. We were seated, other people came in and were seated. 3 of us finally got our food, the others in our party continued to wait for their food. I m talking gumbo, and etouffees which I would ve thought they make these in large portions and serve them up as needed. We asked a few times about the food, other tables were being treated the same, some of the food was coming out for part of their groups as well, while others in the same group were continuing to wait on their food. Why wouldn t you take care of a whole table at a time and then move on to the next table? Had the fried catfish and it came with hair on the plate, wrapped around part of my fish. . Asked about the hush puppies that we re supposed to come with the meal, they were being freshly made . They came out cold to the touch and inedible. Took one bite and they were absolutely terrible. They weren t fresh at all. Asked for the manager who came over, and he offered to remake everything, which I declined, I had lost my appetite by then and I was not a happy customer. They took my meal off the tab. Won t be going back there again, ever. It was a terrible experience. Do not recommend this place at all.

Update September 2023-------This place has really gone down hill!!!....Service sucks, servers if any provide very slow service. Apparently not enough servers to serve during Happy Hour....waited 30 before anyone came to take my drink order but, had already gone to bar to get drinks. After we ate apparently there is no one picking up dirty plates, we had to sit there with the trash pile of crawfish while we had drinks...sucks... 4. The place was dirty and in disarray.
