I walk in nobody s eating inside, 5 people waiting for their orders, wasn t sure if I wanted to order. Behind the counter all these young people not knowing what to do. Management needs to improve, especially when you have to pay a lot for the chicken. Parking: Since no one eats there, there was plenty of parking.

If anyone/anybody out there is trying to look for a job, this Popeyes location is not it. As an x-employee my position was to be the cook and my starting salary was a minimum of $9.25 an hour. Yes, it is better than nothing but when your checks are looking from 180$ to 200$, working 3-4 days is not enough for the rent and any other important payments one has to do. The manager sucks ( a female) and she dont care about nun else but her making you work and work and work somehow thinking youre a robot . Food sucks as well, dont pull up ppl, THIS IS A MESSAGE. Eat somewhere else where your money will be worth spending .

Got here at 10:50 wasn t expecting anything free wasn t expecting anybody to make anything fresh. But I also was expecting the employees to go hide and yes I saw them run and heard them laughing inside. All I was trying to do was feed my family after working a second job just to try to buy something here, only for them try ignore and hide from customers. Finally a gentleman came to the window to tell me they were closed at 10:55 and Informed them I was there at 10:50 and one of the women in there tells me they threw away the chicken and I addressed them hiding and laughing. All of a sudden they chime in from the speaker we threw away all the chicken and I explained that I was there and was sitting for a bit and she straight up tells me oh well get over it only reason there is a star is because I have to add it to write this.

Terrible Popeyes branch and manager (Nadia). This store will try and double charge your credit cards (luckily I called my credit card when I saw how shifty the manager was and verified I was being double charged). On top of that, on a prior order, they stuck a 5 piece meal with all wings. Nadia is terrible and rude and I would avoid this store all all costs.

Ordered via the app. Did not receive one half the order. This left one in our party without food. Response from this Popeyes was to come in and pick it up. There are reasons it was requested for delivery. I do not recommend this Popeyes for delivery or take out. I had a previous take out order that I had to wait over 30 minutes for when I called it in 20 minutes previously. The customer service is terrible and cannot recommend this particular Popeyes to anyone. Avoid at all costs. I would give zero stars if I could.

The food was bussin/good until I saw something in it that look like worms, one of them was like 6 inches long. I know it s safe to eat food with some parasites as long as it s cooked, but it being in my food is just unappetizing. The photo only shows a little bit of the worms that I took off but there were like 4 each above 3 in.

My husband went to get us dinner and ordered 2 meals and the teenager at the window charged him for someone else s order and did nothing about it until my husband had to walk in and talk to the manager who didn t believe him until he looked at his bank account and was charged $50 when it should ve been $36. Asked for 8 pc dark. Managers response was that they only had 4 pieces dark and chicken breasts ready. She had no intention to cook more dark. So I had to ask her if they can cook more. She tries to put me off again and tells its going to take 20 minutes. I paid for 2 apple pies, large Mac and cheese, and large mashed potatoes and gravy. I get home, no pies or Mac and cheese. Just the chicken, a small potatoes and gravy, and very old, hard biscuits. Situation was corrected by never going to a Popeyes again.

Worse service ever! The General manager was screaming on the top of her lungs that the restaurant is hers. And how she doesn t report to no one. It amazes me how rude she was being, and unprofessional in my opinion. If this situation made me feel really uncomfortable, I can just imagine how the employees must of felt. The person that acted like a crazy person is the general manager named Samaly. I will be reporting this to Texas Workforce Commission. Hands down the WORST experience I ve ever had at a Popeyes, EVER!! The one star is a given, I agree with a previous review about staff possibly being high. The customer service was the worst, I felt like I was inconveniencing the worker, Jeannette. I had to repeat my order several times, as well as correct her and remind me her of certain things that I wanted with my meal. Did it come correct? NO! On top of my meal being incorrect, none of it was fresh. Whenever I took it back up to Jeannette, she looked confused and asked So you want fresh chicken? I was willing to see past that, until I realized I was charged .50 for mushy, old mac and cheese. After receiving my fresh (remade) chicken, I politely let them know that the mac and cheese wasn t fresh either and if I could please get a different side to which she responded Umm okay, I guess. After this experience I will never be going back to this Popeyes, and don t try calling the number on the receipt because no one there even cares to pick up the phone!

Went through the drive thru tonight, took several minutes before anyone spoke over the speaker as usual. Ordered two chicken sandwiches and had a 20 minute wait to get them with nobody waiting in front of me. Took a while with my card out of my sight, which is concerning to say the least. Food was NOT hot when received, so I m unsure why I had to wait 20 minutes. This is not the first experience exactly like this. The staff all appear to be high as I witnessed two different employees stumbling and appearing disheveled. The woman over the speaker had trouble understanding a very basic order (two #3 s, just the sandwiches, classic, extra pickles) she asked what sides/drinks, asked multiple times blackened/classic/spicy, and didn t ring in extra pickles. Will not be back to this location as we have had enough with the pathetic service. It s a shame because it s the closest location, but 20 minutes in a non busy drive thru is ridiculous. Don t waste your time.

Possible credit card skimmer in operation. It has been about a month since I haven eaten at this location, but four days ago, Bank of America notified me that my card had suspicious activity and had tried to be used at this Popeyes location for 3 transactions. Bank of America closed my card after I confirmed I was not the one trying to use the card. I stopped by the store on 14 April to let them know that four days ago my card number was fraudulently used at this store. The assistant manager looked dumbfounded and she tried to get the GM. General manager didn t come talk to me but I heard her ask her in Spanish if I had left the card at the store, which I hadn t, since I still have it in my possession. Be warned and vigilant of transactions on your credit card/debit card statements, in case you run into the same situation. I doubt I am the only one.

I went to order food there and by the time I got home I noticed there were a few things missing from my order. I was missing two sides from my order and I had to give it to my daughter. This isnt the first time that theyve done that. I order a chicken sandwich and I don t even know what I received? It s the thinnest hardest piece of whatever it is. It doesn t have any breading.. Please get the people there quality control. It shouldn t be okay to let something go out like that. I ripped it in half and tried to eat it but couldn t. Just look at the photos of what present on their website and what they put in your bag! Ordered the big box with mild chicken tenders, red beans with rice and cole slaw. Added on the popcorn shrimp. Tried to call the restaurant to give them this feedback but no one answered. First of all the chicken was Spicy, red beans and rice had no flavor. Poor little biscuit had no rise to it. The cole slaw was good but it s not enough for me to be going back. Popcorn shrimp was a soggy mess and no sauce with any of it. Big waste of money. Most went in the trash. Won t be going back.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband came tonight to pick up dinner for us and my 2 kids. He ordered 3 Popeyes Chicken Sandwiches meals and a 2 pc meal we asked for 2 legs for for my toddler. When he got home the chicken in the sandwiches were so dry and you could tell they had been sitting under the lamps for a long time. The fries were cold and he 2 legs for my daughter was also old chicken. My husband got the order around 855 pm then I drove to get my order made fresh and for my surprise they had the lobby closed and it was only like 915pm. Had to come to drive thru to explain about my order and I asked why I couldnt come into the lobby and they said sometimes they close the lobby early. Honestly it was such a bad experience. My family eat out of this location at least once a week and today it was just a disappointment.

They got my order wrong( which is okay it happens sometimes) and they were kind enough to fix it, even two days after my initial order I was able to pick up the correct one with no difficulty. Thank you!

I order food on the drive thru and I was missing food so I went inside since there was a long line . Went inside told the lady employee about it .Then she gave me the wrong food so I went back inside again . I told her the food is wrong and she got an attitude and asked another employee to assist me ..Bad service experience I wont be goin there again

THE ONLY REASON I ADDED A STAR WAS TO WRITE MY REVIEW. The district management behind Popeyes is horrible. I ve been waiting for my refund back since august 27. Corporate pushed my refund onto the district manager and even then they didnt do anything about it. REMEMBER: If the managers of Popeyes says no even if corporate says yes the answer will be NO. On another note: DO NOT PAY CASH HERE, ALWAYS CARD. AS QUOTE FROM MANAGEMENT AT THIS LOCATION, THE ONLY RECORD WE HAVE THAT YOU WERE HERE IS THE RECIEPT WE HAND OUT TO CUSTOMERS .YOUR BANK WILL DO MORE TO REFUND YOU YOUR MONEY THAN CORPORATE. Doesn t matter if you remember your order number, total or the exact date or time you went. I ve talked to corporate around 6-8 times from august 27 to now. I ve got emailed corporate as well 2 days ago. NO RESPONSE. AVOID POPEYES IF YOU PAY CASH. I called the same day I wanted my refund which was august 26. THEY DISCONNECTED THE LINE SINCE IT WAS 5 min BEFORE CLOSING & COULDNT HELP ME AUGUST 27 BECAUSE AS QUOTE FROM MANAGEMENT, IF YOU WANTED THE REFUND BACK THE SAME DAY YOU PURCHASED THEN WE COULD HELP YOU. Service inside sucks! Its super slow. Dont go if your in a hurry on lunch break. Youll only have two minutes left to eat your meal. Drive thru is a little better, youll probly get three minutes to eat your lunch.

I had a mobile order, when I arrived there was no customers in the restaurant... then the girl at the front register told me they didnt have any spicy chicken...I over heard someone in the back saying the spicy chicken was coming out soon so I told her I will wait for it..she prepared the rest of my order..I had an apple pie with that order, when I got home I noticed she forgot to put the apple pie in the bag..I have been calling the restaurant and no one answers the phone..this the type of sh** that pisses me off! I should of known! when they were speaking in Spanish talking about another customer who was complaining about her order ...so unprofessional! I wanted to say yeah yeah hurry up and fix my order ya gossip later when the customers are out the restaurant! The food was good and hot but I did noticed the large side have less portions in them! I used to work at Popeyes when I was a teenager so I know how the portions should be and they are getting smaller and smaller!

Make sure you ask for fresh chicken because they will give you whats been sitting there. Is it me?or the red beans are getting smaller ( not the container) the portions and you know Popeyes are not cheap. Small portions and small chicken doesnt add up to the price! Ill stick with the chicken sandwich from here on out.

I ordered shrimp and chicken. They were out of cocktail sauce. I asked for blacken ranch instead. The employee gave me one. I told him I would pay for more of necessary but he gave me one more and told me to pull up and wait because my chicken would be a minute. 20 minutes later I get my chicken without enough sauce. Went inside to order food. The restaurant was clean but that is because the dining room and bathroom was still closed to the public. This is the only restaurant not open now. I had to use the bathroom really bad because I take medicine with a water pill in it. They would not let me use it so I went to another Popeyes to get my food. So ridiculous!!

I ordered the Spicy chicken sandwich and I tried the Frozen Strawberry Lemonade. I was asked, before finalizing my order, if I was ok with waiting 7mins for my sandwich. I agreed and my sandwich was still hot when I got home and I enjoyed my Frozen drink. Good experience and Ill definitely go back.

How many people does it take to make a chicken sandwich? I can t answer that question for you because I never got my sandwich! But I will tell you that at Popeyes on Crenshaw it takes more than 10! I went through the drive thru tonight and ordered 2 chicken sandwiches. They told me there would be a 10 minute wait and I agreed. I texted home at 8:21 pm to let them know I would be delayed. My son opted to eat leftovers at home, but my daughter wanted the sandwich. I pulled up to the window and canceled one of the sandwiches and paid for the other one. They told me to pull up to the front of the parking lot with the other cars waiting by the sign. I exhausted everything I could think of on my phone, and I noticed that several of the other cars drove off, but nobody brought them food. I thought to myself this sure is a long ten minutes! Then I remembered that I had a text that was time stamped. It was 8:49, so it had been 28 minutes! I gathered my belongings and went inside and told them that I had been waiting 28 minutes for a sandwich that was supposed to take 10. She got a manager. The manager casually apologized, and I told her that I wanted my sandwich or my money back right now. She didn t even try to get me a sandwich, so I gave her my card and told her to give me a refund. While I was waiting for the refund, I looked in the kitchen and noticed that there were quite a few employees. 10 to be exact! Most of them were standing around, and very few looked remotely productive! It felt like it took forever to get my refund, and I was trapped because she had my credit card! I would love to be able to say I m never coming back! But, for some strange reason, my daughter loves the spicy chicken sandwich like nobody s business. We go there about 2-5 times/week. I m not kidding! I know that I t s $4.32 for a spicy chicken sandwich. I go so much that I know that as soon as I say I want a spicy chicken sandwich , they are going to ask if I want just the sandwich or the meal. We can order ketchup at the speaker but it s not going to get in the bag unless I mention it at the window. If I ask for a cup of water, it s 50/50 if a cup of water will make it to my car. And the credit card machine at the window is super slow! They take it first thing, and it s the last thing I get before I drive off! I ve almost left it several times. So I m being realistic. I ll be back. But the next time they say it s going to be 10 minutes and ask me to pull up to the front of the parking lot where I can be forgotten, I m going to politely refuse and turn off my car. They can work the drive thru around my vehicle. If they don t have chicken, then say that you are out. If they have cooking problems, send someone to let us know, preferably with a little snack as a peace offering. If something goes wrong, grab some of that chicken sitting there, and throw it in a box. Or give out some coupons for a future visit. But don t just stand there and let people sit in their car all night. It was certainly NOT my pleasure doing business with Popeyes tonight! Honestly, I could have left the drive-thru when he said 10 minutes, gone to Chick-fil-A, got my chicken sandwiches and made it home before 8:49! Popeyes, your food may be appealing to some, but you seriously need to step up your game!
