I went back to see how long this place has been in business and I am shocked it is still open to be honest. They made a big deal about not seating us until we were all there, all three of us. Two of us were already there AND we had a reservation! Walking in to see an almost empty restaurant was not a great first impression. There are no appetizer plates, for a brunch spot attempting to masquerade as a frilly wedding shower spot I found that odd. 2 choices of juice for mimosas is great except 8 ounces did not cover the three tiny flutes and when we realized the watermelon juice was not good we asked for more orange juice and were told it was an additional charge. Fast forward to our plates, all three were barely touched. Our crepes were doughy and the third plate was avocado toast and while it was attractive it was not a flavorful dish. A pretty presentation is great, however the food must be prepared properly. The staff was not attentive or caring about the fact that we were clearly not enjoying our food. How this restaurant ever won an award escapes me. There must have been major changes in the past few years. We will not be back. BEWARE the very high prices at the establishment are not commiserate to the quality or taste of food nor the lack of service. VERY Disappointing. We wont return.

We were passing through town and looking for a pleasant brunch spot to celebrate a birthday. So glad we found this. While the decor is a bit over the top, it is fun and lively. The food was really good - both of us really enjoyed the loaded French toast and the Sausage Egg Crepe w/Jalapeno gravy. The gravy has a nice heat but isnt overpowering, and the French toast has lots of fresh fruit and other sweet goodness. A lot of thought and style were put into the presentation, including fresh flower garnishes. The portions were (for me) quite large (both included a generous serving of hash browns) though maybe thats just the norm for Texas :-) The service was friendly and helpful; We felt welcome and appreciated. Great place for classy brunch - be sure to make a reservation or call ahead for the best experience.

Worse experience of my life. Walked in the entire place was completely empty and they said I needed to there was a 15 minute wait to be seated. We were just passing through from El Paso to Oklahoma these people are the laziest people I have ever seen in my life the hostesses is a self entitled rude young lady who is probably related to the owner because she acts like she will never loose her job. This place will not survive because they have no concept of good customer service.! There are travelers like us coming from A to B that don t know anything about reservations. Never go here if you value your self and the way people treat you. And to reply to the owner you should look at the amount of negitive reveiws that you have they all say the same thing. I am here a year later and this was still the worste experience and service that i ever had in my life. Look at the video and see hopw your receptionist never even looked up from her phone to tell me theres a wait. and how rude she was. Maybe instead of blaming custmers you should look in to how to raise your 3 rating to a 4.9 .

We had a waitress who wasnt very helpful. She had a attitude the entire time, she took forever to bring us anything we asked for. We wanted to do split checks, and she said they dont. Later we find out they do for a 2 dollar fee which we would not mind. Got seated at 10:30 but our food didnt come until an hour later. The food was great but her service wasnt good at all.

Found this place purely by accident and glad we did! The food is amazing in both flavor and presentation. Staff is warm and friendly and accommodating with walk-in guests even though they recommend reservations. We had a few suggestions on things to try and they did not disappoint! The sausage egg and cheese crepe was delicious and perfectly portioned. The potatoes on the side were so perfectly seasoned that no salt and pepper shaker were necessary. Quite a feat with breakfast potatoes! We tried the strawberry rose bubble bath drink for two so delightful and fun! Loved it! Thank you for an amazing experience and fabulous food! If you arrive at opening you can probably get a table pretty quick but reservations are strongly recommended any other time to avoid a wait.

We went early didn t have a reservation we were seated by a young lady who s attitude wasn t very nice it made it feel as if we weren t allowed to be there. Food was average drink sizes also small for a high price. Pricing was average 17-20 dollars per meal. Overall didn t finish all the food felt uncomfortable and was very ready to leave halfway through.

Seated quickly with no reservation. The girly pop aesthetic is really cute. They serve wine for some reason. Who gets drunk for breakfast? I get it, its a high alcoholism state, but dang. They played awful country music, but some rap and pop hits. The price of the food was the same Id pay at RedOak, which is an actual upscale restaurant, so the owner for sure is being greedy because the food is below mediocre: frozen potatoes, frozen blueberries, frozen bacon (I didnt know there was frozen bacon), and cheap bagged tea thats $4. Oh and you have to go through 2 sets of doors with no wheelchair accessible opening function. Parking is diagonal, so you have to turn all the way around to leave. I could be wrong, maybe the staff is given a livable wage so the price funds the establishment, but no because theres a sign in the menu that says that they dont split the final bill for any reason. So they lack the knowledge of division, which would be in standard training as well as grade school; then again in Texas, youre allowed to not go to school anymore after a certain time. So I dont know if its incompetence or refusal. This place should be on Kitchen Nightmares.

Where. Do. I. Even. Start. They must have not done any research on the demographic of the area they are serving. This is Odessa, Texas. We don t make reservations to eat at a restaurant (especially in the area this restaurant is located). If you don t have a reservation, they are going to make you sit there and wait 10-20 minutes looking at empty tables. The menu has a decent selection, but be prepared to fork out some cash. The atmosphere is very off putting, the music doesn t match the vibe. All of the decorations look extremely cheap, and when I was served my eggs (unseasoned as expected) I asked for salt and pepper and was given take out packets. They are trying to give off a high class, prim and proper facade, but do not have salt and pepper shakers. I ve never been uncomfortable in a restaurant before, but that changed today. It was one of the most confusing environments I ve been in.

I didn t know we needed a reservation so we had to wait 5 to 10 mins to be seated. We Didn t take offense to it because many restaurants in bigger cities do the same. The food was pretty good. But I wish they had explained to us that if you order half/half of a crape we would be charged $10 for each and not the $16 something for the crepe plate. But I will say they were pretty good. So I m not too upset about since it taste amazing. The environment felt more for a date night than breakfast or brunch. For those who have a gluten allergy They don t really have gluten free options l, I had to take my pill to help me digest the gluten. But overall I liked the food and the staff was friendly. I would go back 100% in after knowing how the restaurant works and it s environment.

My wife made reservations to eat at this place because she thought it would be an upscale establishment. The food was good but the atmosphere sucked!!! They have rap music blaring in all the rooms and it s ruins the mood. If they want to play music they need to change the name and quit trying to cater to a upscale crowd. This place didnt seem so much like a brunch restaurant as it was a dating restaurant. I was asked if I had a reservation, then told it would be about a 5 minute wait. After 20 minutes of waiting I was seated in a chair that was empty for that past 20 minutes anyways. The food was all right and fairly priced. But the ambiance didnt match at all and the music in the back and front of the restaurant played the same 6 songs but werent matching at all.

Food is really good. Setting and service are excellent. However, dont go on a Sunday. Our reservation was for 12:15 PM. We were forced to wait in our car since the waiting room was standing room only with a number of kids running around. We received a call at 12:45 PM that we could now enter the restaurant. I waited another 10 minutes while they cleared a table for us. After a few minutes a waitress took our drink order. At approximately 1:15 PM while our drinks had not arrived a different waitress took our food order. The drinks arrived a few minutes later. At approximately 1:30 PM the food arrived. At this point there were six customers in the restaurant including us, as the restaurant had officially closed at 1PM. At least they served us after closing time. If you want to be seated close to your reservation time, dont go here on a Sunday.

A wait for seating in an empty restaurant is silly. There was one table, and before the owner says something about reservations, there were no other tables for quite some time after we came in, and even then there were plenty of empty tables. I get the vibe theyre going for. It falls flat and comes across as contrived. The building is in poor repair and the dishes are chipped. Lipstick on a pig. Im sure with enough Instagram filters, its very hashing living my best life Our orders were wrong, they mixed up the eggs. The fried potatoes were drastically undercooked. The price for what theyre selling is very high. Ive had much nicer meals with better food, better place settings, in a nicer building, and paid much less. The service was friendly, if slow.

The food is amazing. Place has a good atmosphere and is nicely decorated. Wish the place was more family orientated and open towards having children there. We felt a little unwelcome with our 2 yr old son. Also the hostess was slightly rude. We were the only ones there and were required to wait 15 minutes until being seated. The waitress however was super nice and friendly. Overall a great place to eat, the food is slightly pricy but the quality makes up for it.

The food is amazing always and deserves a 5 start rating. The service once you are seated is amazing. Why did I rate it as a 4? Keep reading..... I have rated the business as a whole hence the 4 star rating. The main reason is when the place first opened they did not have strict policies in place, like they do now. If you do not make a reservation you will be turned away especially if your party is larger than a 4 top. Even when the restaurant has several tables open. The facebook page also does not state that you must have a reservation. I would suggest pinning this to the top of the page for future customers. I had also mentioned this last time I ate here. I thought they may not know it didnt state this. If it is a staffing issue then its best to be transparent and announce it on social media or post on doors, it can definitely avoid angry clients. If its a food storage then I would suggest this as well. As many businesses are suffering with this. Again, I absolutely love this place and will continue to visit. If things improve I will also be more than happy to change my rating to a 5 start for sure. I really wanted to address this without a review but there is no message option on facebook. Maybe something to add. More and more customers are using facebook for restaurants now a days. The place is amazing and I hope it succeeds because it really is great to have. If I could leave a - I would definitely do so. My experience here has always been appalling! Today, I wanted to pop off at the hostess (in the most professional way). But she hid in the kitchen until I left. So I guess it was good that she did. Anyways, as everyone knows you need to make a reservation which my partner did 45 minutes before. This is my favorite breakfast restaurant I found so far because the food and drinks are delicious. As we arrived, my partner dropped me off in front while I tell the hostess we were here. First, she said I had to wait until all parties were present to be seated. Secondly (after we both stood there waited to be seated, she then tells us she ABSOLUTELY NEEDS to finish the to go order before she can sit us down. Thirdly, after 20 minutes later, she sets the table (which took her less than 30 seconds), continues to clean a different table and then goes to the back. At this point, I wanted to sit myself down but wanted to let her know it only took her 30 seconds to set the table your guest made a reservation for. I believe IF the customer service was 1,000 better, it would bring in more business. But as you can see, there are more negative reviews on this business than positive. Lastly, if you notice; the business owner ONLY responds to the good reviews and not the bad reviews. So if you read this Melissa, I recommend you to hire a better, happier, and positive team to succeed your business. Thanks!

This one detail took my rating from a 5 to a 3. So, let me complain first: Loud and intrusive hip hop music is NOT my idea of a relaxed brunch setting, especially if I m ordering expensive drinks and food. Also, let me clarify that I AM a fan of rap and hip hop, just not at brunch. That being said, the food was excellent, my order of crispy bacon actually came out VERY well prepared. I would eat here and even recommend it if they classed up the ambiance, but until then I ll just order my food to go.

08/01/2021-9:25am Odessa, TX Sadly disappointed Let me begin with I had really high hopes coming in this morning the good, they have fresh flowers at the table which surprised me, because the men s bathroom didn t have soap. The bad upon entering an empty restaurant we were asked to sit in the waiting room for 7 minutes, why? I m not sure unless the waitstaff wasn t ready, so that could have been on me showing up early. We ordered the Texas breakfast with a waffle and 2 stack pancakes, and 1/2 & 1/2 teas. Everything was brought out separately, again, not sure why. But this is where things went south for me. The potatoes were under cooked, nearing raw on some of them. While the spice profile was good, wasn t enough to cover for near raw potatoes. The batter for the waffle and pancakes was very floury, it seemed to be missing something, like eggs or something. The waitstaff wasn t bad or good, they were just there. Let me reiterate that I wanted this place to be my next new breakfast destination, but unfortunately, for my pallet, Denny s or IHOP does breakfast better, that is unless you have to have some alcohol with your morning meal. As a family man, would I recommend this place to my friends, family and coworkers? Eh probably not. Being a 2020 Odessa readers choice award winner, I expected so much more than I got.

This is one of the best places to eat! Food,service and atmosphere always excellent. The crepes are awesome and unbeatable. Would recommend Brunch and Munch for a great food experience.

Let me start by saying that they are not very punctual on their schedule. when I arrived there was a few parties waiting outside the doors were still locked and it was 12 minutes after 8am (the schedule shows that they open at 8:00) a few more minutes went by and the people got tired of waiting so everybody left I was about to leave as well but my friends recommended this place for their famous crepes so I decided to wait. when I got inside the place looks very nice and clean theyre very strict about face masks and social distancing so you better have your masks on and no parties larger than 4 per table .. I ordered just the basic crepes (two regular size crepes with 1 filling and 1 topping) and just for that alone it was a little over $15 I thought well they might be huge or something must be worth the price, but I was wrong these crepes are not much different from IHOP or any other breakfast place... you dont have to be a food expert to realize that $15 for basic crepes its a little overpriced ..I wonder how much the fancy crepes are . My final opinion; they have alcoholic drinks and overpriced breakfast items but it is tasty!.. So if you like to get tipsy early in the day and have an expensive breakfast then this is your place to go!.

This place was very delicious and a clean environment. My only complaint is that they wouldn t split the tab into individual ones. I went with a group of friends and we wanted to pay for our own meals, but the waitress put it all on one check and wouldn t split it. They also didn t mention that the tip is included in your tab.

Reserved table for 1030 and yet never got seated until after 11.......5 open tables (out of 10 total).....wouldn t seat us until party (of no more than 4) ordered there food and that was the other party we came with ......not quite sure how this place is still in business. The one star is solely for the mimosas.......gave us menus in the waiting area and at this point if a 0 star is possible that s what they get

This is 100% not what you would expect from a place in Odessa! I couldnt be more pleased with the service AND the the food, which is rare in Odessa. I had the texas breakfast and the eggs tasted like free range eggs, the bacon was thick and crispy, ham(although Im usually not a fan) was grilled and tasted wonderful. But the showstopper was the waffle. So crisp on the outside and light fluffy and delicious in the inside. I didnt even have to ask for warm syrup because it came with the plate. And the food was presented on the plate rather than thrown together like you would find most other places. The decor was cute and had me believing I was in another city. What a wonderful spot. Im just sorry I didnt stop in sooner.

Holy sh*t. This place did not disappoint. OUTSTANDING food. Service was good; staff was not overly enthusiastic, but nice, professional, and you can tell they love the food there too because they say everything is good when you mention it, and they re not lying. I wish my server would ve known a little more about the ingredients/recipes/prices of menu items and side items not listed on the menu, but she still did a great job overall. A lot of reviews complained about wait time and prices, but as someone who brunches often, this place felt pretty fair and standard in its category and reviewers need to chill out. This is not like a greasy spoon. Yes, it tastes home-cooked, but with a level of quality, freshness, and gourmet recipes. On that note, they did have overpriced mimosas for brunch; they should at least offer a carafe or a special, because come on, IT S BRUNCH. No one wants to pay dinner-drink-prices for brunch and few people only want just one mimosa. We need our vitamins! But the food was so good and it s one of the *cleanest* places in Odessa, so 5 STARS for these people. Also, the Hibiscus and pomegranate mimosa was delicious and you can eat the flower at the bottom! The food prices are pretty reasonable for the most part. I do think the savory crepes should come with potatoes though. Tiny changes to the menu items could make customers feel like their money is going a lot further... and for customers like me (who order one of everything and several drinks, it makes me order even more when I feel like I m getting a value, even among the upscale ). They also have some options that should be listed on the menu, but aren t, such as a side biscuit w/gravy. On the menu, it s just listed as the full breakfast for $10, but there is a side version w/o eggs and potatoes. If you don t get a savory crepe to at least to TRY, you re missing out! We recommend the savory crepes (cream cheese base w/Asiago topping), the homemade biscuits and gravy, the potatoes (w/side of hollandaise), and the brisket omelet that has something to do with Texas in the title. Their Hollandaise is on point. Quite a few vegetarian options. Veggie crepes, desert crepes, French Toast, house potatoes, etc. I didn t see much for vegans and they do love butter at this place, so I would ask about their potatoes, rice w/veggies, and even their oatmeal if that s what you re going for. The coffees were okay, a little weak and over-flavored/over-sweetened for my taste because I m a Cuban coffee drinker, but most people would like their flavored coffees I think. Next time, I will stick to original house coffee though or the Texas Pecan they serve. **Don t park at Subway next door because they do tow!! The Brunch and Munch is nice enough to warn their customers with a sign on the door as you walk in. We had about a 10 minute wait for 2 on a Sunday afternoon. There were open tables, but they said reserved. If you re able to call ahead for seating, someone should explain that. I do wish the staff offered customers more general information about the place and menu. They should also offer you menus and a drink while you wait. I don t know why the wait times don t correlate to number of empty tables, could be that they hold off on seating so the kitchen can stay caught up to get food out hot, w/o letting it get dry sitting in a heat window. I have no clue. But if that s the case, tables could still get sat and offered drinks or quick appetizers and just be communicated to on how long certain things will take. Staff needs to step up to make the customers feel more welcomed and important because I want this place to stay in business! All things considered... Definitely eat here. Great for a date.

My friend and I walk in on a sunday morning around 11. No hostest in sight. There I was with my grumbling stomach, prepared by all the 5 star reviews, for the best brunch of my life. A few minutes later the hostest rounds the corner and puts our name on the list and quotes us a 20 minute wait. We sit. Peering through the glassless windows that separate the waiting and dining, we notice the majority of the tables were empty. Baffled by this, we decide to count the tables. Twelve, there were. Eight were empty while four were occupied by parties of two. Three servers were staffed. Nevertheless, 20 minutes did we wait. Finally we were seated and offered a menu so full in which I got lost a few times. We ordered the mimosa flite which we received promptly. I will be honest, they were not great. We order our food and receive it quickly. Everything tasted great and we had no complaints. I will say though that everything is about $4 over priced in my opinion. Overall the service was kind and the food was good but over priced!

I was super excited about this place before it even opened. Finally went one morning but was so disappointed. The set up & layout is weird, seating is cramped & small & the waiting area takes up most of the restaurant. Bathroom is only one stall, door wouldnt lock, Someone walked in on my niece peeing cuz of that. it had a tiny trash bin overflowing with a lot of tp. My sister ordered a latte & pointed out it wasnt even hot. she still drank it, didnt complain & even ordered a refill hoping this one would be at least warm & it came even colder than the last. I dont know if our waitress was new or maybe just shy but she didnt make any recommendations, was not talkative, we had to pry information out of her and she seemed confused 100% of the time we asked her for anything & wouldnt even say ok, just walk away. It was so awkward. when i caved & told her they messed up my eggs benedict. (E.B. is my fav & this E.B. was cold & had hard boiled eggs on top) (All our food was cold btw) she seemed confused when I told her, like she didnt understand they werent supposed to be that way, but she just said ok & walked off. By the time she came around to replace it everyone else was pretty much done eating. & this time it was super runny, the whites werent even cooked. she nor the kitchen staff apologized for the slow service, cold food or messed up eggs benny. Ended up paying over $90 for two adults and two kids under 5. Thats crazy for freaking breakfast lol. Have not gone back and do not plan on returning. The crepes were also cold & gummy AF. Like we couldnt even cut it with a fork we had to tear it with out hands. The kids liked the waffles though.

I was told that the food was here was very good by my sister. When I decided to stop by it was a random Tuesday around 10 a.am. There was not many cars so I thought great. We walked in and waited a few then this young lady came up to me and had absolutely nothing to say she looked very annoyed to see new customers so then I broke the ice and told her it would be 2 people, she quickly and with attitude replied it will be 30 minutes . Obviously it didn t look that busy, having a restaurant myself I ll tell you that s the easiest way to lose customers or never make them in the first place. I would have loved to try the food but never going back with that service.

I seldom leave reviews. That s just not my thing. If I have a bad experience I just don t frequent the establishment again. But this place was delicious! The build your own crepes were special. I had the Asiago spread to top of the stuffed chicken & sautéd mushroom s. I thought about snooping under my table to lick my plate clean. In addition to that they had 5 or 6 different mimosa s to indulge in. To top it all off the service was exceptional! You should certainly take Brunch & Munch for a test drive.
