Really upset that there isn t any information about the store closing early. I went Tuesday night about an hour before closing and they had a sign on the door. I went today, Wednesday on my lunch break to check out a bed. Was excited to find one that could be great for my daughter. Rushed to get her after work, wanted to show her the bed before her practice, only to find out they were closed early again! By 5:00! Was really looking forward to showing her and possibly getting it tonight. Wish the salesman would ve informed me of what time they would be closing when I said I d be back.

We inquired about several displays, but they had none in stocks. We ended up buying a coffee table that the top rises up. When they came from the back with a small box, they told me it needed to be assembled. We got it home and found it to be the same as IKEA or Walmart but not as well built. If I wanted IKEA or Walmart, I would have gone there. To me, they both sell very inferior products at an inflated price. Buyer beware.

What has happened to this place? They had remodeling this place a few years back when they brought the furniture into the store. You used to be able to get some great deals on snacks and what not. I have noticed their prices have increased almost to the point where you are not really saving any money. The only way to save money is when they offer a 20% off your purchase a few times a year. I had stopped in yesterday shopping for cleaning supplies, dog treats and snacks. There were lots of lights that were out. The store was not very well stocked at all. There were some isles that had nothing stocked at all. There were a handful of people in the store and was not very many baskets at all. I did see one guy running around the store and one female cashier, but that was it. I am very sad to see how downhill Big Lots has gone. I am not sure who is running that store, but they need to get the lights fixed, have the store better stocked and have it a tad bit cleaner.

My family and I went to Big Lots for the first time. It amazed me the options available in terms product. From Living Room Sectionals to Dog Food it was surprising. However, they did not have any shipping boxes which is what actually brought me to the store. After perusing the aisles, we find some select ornaments at a decent price and laundry detergent and made our way to the check out line. That was the worse part. Be prepared to wait behind several elderly couponing shoppers that will, quite literally, nickel and dime your time away.

Customer service was excellent. A nice lady on the floor asked me if I was finding everything and if I needed any help? I cant remember the last time thats happened to me. Wish I had gotten her name. And the prices were fair, as always.

Always find great products here, but in particular want to write this review to praise an employee. Cheyenne helped us in the store a lot this past Wednesday, checked prices for us, went above and beyond for us, and did it all with a wonderful and friendly attitude. Big Lots needs more workers like her! Fantastic experience!

Laura in furniture is rude.. We had to ask her twice to help us and she was rude the entire tim ... then we picked out 2 different furniture pieces and they didnt have either and said they couldnt order them for us and if we wanted ONE piece we would have to go to San Antonio (were in San Marcos) where they may or may not have them...?? We wont be going back.. Every trip has ended in disappointment

Most of the people who work here are super nice (with the exception of one person who is cordial but not really customer oriented, but that s not a detractor of my star rating). The most annoying aspect of this place is that they almost never have anything in stock. We ll always hear it ll be a few weeks , but what? Do you run out of furniture in two days once that shipment comes in? Otherwise, it s a great store and I ll always come back for their furniture. I ve been to other places and this one stands the rest of time. The three stars is due to the lack of overall help when asking questions about products and availability of products after months. I will say that we did finally get furniture, after months, and I m in love with it.

Terrible customer service. We wanted to buy an office chair and waited in line for 15 minutes then we were directed back to the register in furniture. Where we were ignored for several minutes and then another gentleman came up and asked if he could help. We told him we wanted to buy this chair he said we would have to wait. As I started to tell him that we had already waited in the front line he just shrugged his shoulders and walked off. Terrible customer service!!!

Masks are still urged with proper signage posted (on their doors?). One so shop for sure. Next time, Ill make a list. But, theyre mostly organized with furniture in the center and tons for the home, garden, holidays and toys. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

Well, they had what I was looking for but not as exactly what I was looking for. Christmas shopping, I was looking for a small number of Christmas lights, white lights to be exact. Well, I found them but they were in the green electric cord. I wanted the white cord so as it wouldnt stand out to much. They stick out like a sore thumb. Dont get me wrong, they did have what I wanted, but in 200 count lights set. That was way to many. I dont need that. So I have to improvise and hide the green cord. Easy. It wouldve been easier if the electric cord wouldve been white.

Havent been to a Big Lots in the Years cuz we dont have them in the city where Im at so I had to drive all the way out over 35 miles to get to one I have forgotten that they that sell Furniture there so it is nice to walk around and look at everything it was clean it was nice I really enjoyed going back to a Big Lots thank you very much Big Lots for being where youre located its a drive but thats okay I take the car out once a week so it was nice to drive out there and get everything I needed to plus some other things I wasnt expecting awesome job thank you
