What an excellent chow spot! The food was delicious, but the service was impeccable! There was one waitress named Mary, I think her name was Mary, who was so phenomenal and quick at her job, the drinks she made for our table was delicious! Would go back just to be served by her again!

Upon walking into the building it looked nice and clean. The ambiance is nice with the floor to ceiling windows out looking the green lawn. As soon as we got to the dining area we started noticing how dirty the dining area was. The carpet was heavily stained, especially around the bar area. Our table top was dirty. There was a stainless steel cart next to our table with clean coffee cups on the top shelf and underneath there was a bare shelf with old food/drink that had been there so long it was caked on and rusted. Our water glass had food residue on the rim. There were cobwebs in the corner near the floor. The food was not good. The fries tasted like they had been fried in the same oil as the seafood. The hamburger patty was tasteless and seemed like it had been cooked straight from being frozen. The club sandwich was ok, but I wouldn t go there again for the club. The cocktail and beer were both good. We were really hoping this would be a good local place to grab some food since we are nearby but unfortunately we will not return for the food.

Great menu variety at quite reasonable prices. Food was very good all around for all of us. Big portions, enough for a to-go bag. Very personable customer service. Beautiful dining area surrounded by windows, almost like a greenhouse. Nice outdoor patio dining, too. Highly recommend. Parking: Theres a spillover lot across the street. Watch your step in the parking lot. The concrete curbs in a square diamond shape surrounding the raised areas between spots is an akward setup and fall risk.

Finally had a chance to make it here and man was I impressed! A bit confusing as to where to go, when you first enter. You just sit wherever you like and they come to you. Once we asked an employee what to do, the rest of the experience went very smooth. Service was good and the food was very good. Not a big menu, but something for everyone. And with the rise of prices, this dinner was not only delicious, but very affordable! We will be back soon!

5 out of 5 stars! I stumbled upon The Bluebonnet Grille and boy, was I blown away! The service was top-notch, I felt like a breakfast royalty. The chicken and waffles were so good, I might have done a little happy dance. The pancakes? Oh, dont even get me started! They were so fluffy and delicious, I almost hugged the chef. And those breakfast tacos? So good, I almost shed a tear of joy. And the best part? The prices wont break the bank! Ill be back for more mouthwatering meals, thats for sure. Probably the only place Ive given 5 to. My husband and I have become regulars here because the service is friendly and familiar, the food is spot on, and the drinks are perfect. They also have the coldest Shiner on draft weve ever had. A definite must visit when youre in the area. UPDATE: Still our favorite place, but stay away from Ceril - NOT a good personality to be in a position requiring interaction with human beings. Ive had 2 or 3 encounters with him, and both of them left me shaking in rage. If I was a (much) lesser person there would be no reason for this update.....as I would have permanently resolved the Drama.... EVERYONE else working at the Grille is spectacular! Santos, Elvia, Raven, Aaron, Austin, & Maddie are truly STARS at the restaurant - and a big reason we continue to frequent the eatery, at least once a week. UPDATE 2 Ceril has moved on and the new management is much friendlier and accommodating. Food is still on point, and the waitstaff remembers us as well as how we like our food.

Weve eaten here a variety of times over the last seven years and have not been disappointed, and were not easy customers. Darn it I forgot our waiters name from today but he gave us perfect and fast service. Raven has waited on us various times and is also good and nice. Well....good news and bad news. The good news is that the food quality seems to have really improved from a year or two ago. Today it was outstanding, which is the reason for my review. All three of us today loved our food. * Onion rings: among the best Ive ever had (they were really, really delicious, but still cant beat the beer battered rings from the Cheddars at Beltway 8 and Westpark, which sadly has been sold back to corporate and is not as good as formerly. Those are the best Ive ever had). * Off the menu grilled fish with creamy cajun gravy: Excellent and very yummy! * Steamed broccoli: somehow had a delicious flavor. * Coffee: Good. * Italian something or other sandwich (like a French Dip): Good, on good chiabatta bread, too much meat for our liking and had to pull some off (oops. man I should not say that here...restaurant management please ignore that!), extra charge mushrooms: yummy, special request bell peppers but no onions: Delightful on a special request that many will not satisfy or get wrong * Au jus: Great. Different than the normal au jus, it had a different flavor, not like the one you get from e.g. Arbys. This one had more body and tasted like fresh roast beef drippings, more like something you would get from a home made Thanksgiving dinner, however it was (thankfully) not greasy. Really pretty good! * Chicken salad stuffed avocado with a side of fresh fruit: This one got the respective diner ecstatic. She LOVED it. She spent 10 minutes posing for pictures with the plate and having therm sent back home to family in the old country. Avocado is tricky to work with, not most restaurants will have it. The chicken salad was great. The diner was impressed with the variety of fruit and counted 10 distinct fruits, which doesnt sound believable but thats what she said: Grapes, honeydew, cantaloupe, I dont know, seven more! In the past I have asked for to sub my fries out for fruit and have also been pleased, but they annoy me by charging extra when I ask that. Hot dog: Extremely particular wife said it was the best shes ever had, we were later told it is Nathans brand. (We had this previously, not tonight). So....thats the good news, and congrats everyone involved on this excellent result and improvement! The bad news is that I was surprised to meet a new food and beverage manager tonight, who told me hes been here about one week. A nice gentleman and Ill hope hes capable and I wish him the best of luck with his new job, but I dont think tonights great food came from his one weeks worth of influence. Rather, I think it must have come from the previous manager, making it disconcerting that he has moved on. Lets hope they didnt fire the previous manager for being too expensive with premium ingredients and hire this new guy to cut costs! Please please please keep up the good work Quail Valley friends!

Great place my wife found on a Google search. Absolutely no way to know about this gem unless you find it in a search or have someone tell you about it. Its located at the Quail Valley golf course, and there are absolutely no signs. Youll need to use Google to get there, winding your way through the neighborhood. The food is very good and the prices are way lower than you would think for being at a golf course. Be sure to ask for Austyn, shell take good care of you. Will definitely be going back. My family and I visited the place after church for lunch. We waited 20 minutes and they never took our drink orders. We watched and observed and apparently waiting on us was not a priority. The poor service was not because the restaurant was super busy. We will not be going back to this place and will not recommend. Extremely disappointed!!!

Okay, since the owner commented, its only fair that I respond in kind: I was seeking a place to grab a sandwich nearby where Id been shopping, and in searching the Internet stumbled upon a restaurant I didnt recognize. The reviews were pretty fair, so I decided to give it a try. Google maps ultimately took me to the parking lot of a golf course. I very nearly drove away, but rolled down my car window and asked a passersby, is there a restaurant somewhere on the premises? Indeed, was the reply. I parked and walked into the main entrance of the course clubhouse. The restaurant isnt marked, as such, so I had to hunt a bit to find it (note to the restaurant management, you may want some more conspicuous signage). Im glad I did. The restaurant staff could not have been nicer or more professional. The food was not amazing, but certainly far better than expected from a public golf course eatery. Meh... What really made the meal earn four stars had more to do with the staff and ambience (hey...golf course view!). Ill be back, to be sure, and the next time it will be on purpose!

Nice lil spot, just wasnt sure where to enter at first since its inside a city building. But you seat yourself and waitress will come to you. We were told it used to be for members only...for golfers I presume, but now open to the public. Dirty rice was a lil but hard, not your typical blend, but it had good flavor as did everything else! Had the fried catfish and cajun pasta. We sat outside under shade and umbrella. Lots of men there (golfers) with a lil potty mouth chatter, but a cool spot overall. Well visit again and maybe sit inside once Covid/Delta subsides.

I come here often with my wife n kids to enjoy a hot dog or a hamburger and even a country fried steak once. It never matters what I order, as it is always fresh and seasoned to perfection. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is casual and laid back, but you will find patrons dressed in suits and business attire as well. Overall, this is a must visit if you are looking for great food at a reasonable price.

We wanted to eat breakfast but was 30 min late, the waitresses were rude and non verbal. Asked just to see a breakfast menu for next time and just looked at me crazy and didnt say anything. Pleasant but a far too overworked staff up front. Most importantly, however, is the terribly prepared food. Either the kitchen staff does not know how to cook flavorful food, or they are not trained or supervised to care. Steak: tough. Catfish: less there than the batter. Chicken: dry. Salad: boring. And the Chardonnay comes straight from the pharmacy aisle. Sad....
