I was the only person there for lunch, which should of been a sign. Proceeded with ordering a lunch special and a roll. The sushi roll came out warm, as if they just used regular white rice right out of the rice cooker. The lunch special was $15 for an extremely small portion of food. I had high hopes with the great reviews i saw, but was left disappointed.

Feel bad leaving a bad review since I m pretty sure it is a family-owned establishment, but prices were absurd. Ordered a Yakitori Beef - $15 for 4 tiny slices of beef on a skewer and everything else was frozen vegetables warmed up in teriyaki sauce. Also ordered salmon rolls, and they were warm (sushi is not supposed to be warm). Really hope I don t get food poisoning from here.

It was $8.39 for this roll. There were 10 rolls, but they were tiny, couldve easily been 6 good sized rolls. Half of the asparagus was this yucky yellow color, which suggests it wasnt fresh and I can also tell they used the base of the asparagus because of how hard it was. I let them know I wasnt happy with my meal and they did not offer to remake it or give me a refund. Really dissapointing, I honestly dont know why they thought serving this was okay... Really shocked they have such good reviews. Vegetarian options: Very poor attempt at a vegan friendly roll, and they wont be able to answer any questions when it comes to vegan options.

Is my go to for solo lunch, date with my wife, or the entire family and friends. Always great food, decently priced and excellent service. I love this place! Sushi is always great, the miso soup is fabulous, and the service is always so kind. Sometimes there is only one waitress so exercise some patience, but food is typically pretty quick. The fried tofu roll is my favorite!

We re from out of town, but my husband is working in the area. We came here to try it out and we were not disappointed!! The miso soup was so delicious, had the best flavor! My husband and I came here because I love sushi. He got a Florida roll with seafood fried rice and I got the salmon lover roll with seafood fried noodles. Dear Lord I thought I had died and gone to heaven. It was absolutely delicious. The miso soup was so tasty and went perfect with everything. The service was extraordinary. Had a delicious experience here. The miso soup was some of the most flavorful Ive ever had. The Firecracker Roll had a unique liquid smoke flavor to it, which we loved, and my husband liked this one best. The Midland Roll had a nice combination of crunchy, creaminess, and spice, which I liked best. Well be back!

We placed an online order to go from here. I am more than angry. When I opened up our bag, we were missing our miso soup, we only received a partial order of the egg rolls, and my fried rice with chicken was an itsy bitsy portion that didnt even fill 1/4 of the container. I am beyond angry with this. Not to mention, the inside of 2 of the egg rolls were stone cold and my fried rice meal was cold as well. Highly recommend taking your business elsewhere, and we will not be giving them our business again!

Really going for 0 stars. Ordered online got confirmation of order.Did not get a call or notification of anything about my order not being done. Amazing experience from the moment we walked in the door. Must try the torched crawfish roll and the salmon lover roll, and the pineapple seafood fried rice. I think to myself, I must tell them about this food.....then I remember that food....then, oh yeah! Fujiyama is the last sushi place in Midland that I had yet to try. The Sushi & More has intrigued me for a while. What is the more ? Do they have ninjas that come out from the kitchen juggling knives? I decided I had to find out! The location is pretty convenient on midkiff and 250 loop. Traffic isn t too bad there even at lunch. The restaurant has a nice clean look from the street. Upon entering you see a very clean and quaint sushi restaurant that is well decorated. The menu is a colossus! Let s just call it a Tome . Everyone should be able to find something they like from this beast of a tome. If you guys have not noticed . There is no ocean near midland. So sushi restaurants are REALLY hit or miss here. Some store or freeze their raw fish way too long and you can tell. I chose two items that are easy (for me) to tell if the ingredients are fresh . Raw tuna and salmon and egg rolls. Yes I am facing Lady Luck and the fates to give a good review here. I ordered the Tokyo roll and pork egg rolls. The Tokyo roll has both raw tuna and salmon. And the egg rolls you can pick from pork , beef , or chicken - which right away tells me they are fresh and not frozen probably. The Sushi was fresh and delicious! Egg roll was piping hot straight from the cooker and was probably rolled right after I ordered it. This is one of the top two sushi places In midland. You have my word. Try them out!! Ive eaten at many sushi restaurants, this was the 1st time Ive had food poisoning from one of them. The food and sushi tasted good, but an hour and half later I was in my bathroom puking with the chills. There was one sushi roll I got the the flavor was off and the color. Probably one of the most interesting atmospheres Ive had in a restaurant that didnt cost me my first born child. The area is laced with relaxing music and a friendly atmosphere, the staff are at the ready to assist and love to get to know their customers. The food was great, some of the best sushi Ive had, reminded me of my favorite place for sushi back home. I will be frequenting this place in the future. The two rolls I got were the Fuji roll and Firecracker (left to right). Great selections just to test the waters of this joint, keep in mind however, the firecracker has a kick to it. Those who appose spice should stay away! But for the rest I will definitely recommend it.

Weve eaten Fujiyama at least 8 times since we moved to Midland. My wife loves sushi and one of her favorites is the dragon roll, and for me one would be the Midland roll. We like to try different things, everything weve had has always had a fresh taste. If you like a quiet ambience then this a good place for you. People complain about the price, and sometimes I do too but remember what Midland is known for, and its hard to find good tasting food here. So far I love their beef and combo fried rice, it never disappoints and I hope it always stays like that for many years.

Wonderful place! My girlfriend and I love going here. The sushi is the best in town for sure and their ramen noodle and udon soup is super flavorful and my personal favourite. Their nigiri is almost perfect with my only issue being the occasional warm rice, which I personally prefer cold, other than that they knock everyone else out of the water. Fujiyama is my favorite Asian restraunt in town and I have yet to find a place with better food than here.

Finally found a good Japanese restaurant in Midland! The sushi was recommended by my coworker, and wow, they deliver. We (my husband, brother and I) all had different lunch entrees. I love them. The sushi is really great, and the service is absolutely wonderful. Every time that Ive been, Ive had a wonderful experience. The restaurant and bathrooms are very clean, friendly customer service from the waiters, and theyre very understanding and patient with my kids being a little loud sometimes. The kids Love the soup, however I dont like the tea. I dont get what the taste is, but Im not very fond of it. Some people may like it more though, just not my preference. All the sodas taste proper, and even the display with the food is very pretty. 10/10 recommend this. Highly.

Excellent service delicious sushi and entrées. Very friendly service and highly recommended for great sushi and awesome hot entrées. Fujiyama has the Best Sushi and More in Midland! Way better Sushi and a excellent menu which make it 10 times better service & food than Volcano Sushi and Asian Fusion. Fujiyama Sushi & More know how to treat you like royalty compare to Volcano Sushi & Asian Fusion with its rude service and bland sushi. Why go anywhere else!

Great place! Me and my significant other go every other weekend or when we have our date nights. We always get the dragon roll. It is never packed which we enjoy because we get seated quick, but even if it was packed wed still go because the staff is very friendly and the food is delicious.

I shared the Kobe Combo boat with a friend, and it was worth the money. Amazing sushi and if youre not an avid sushi eater, the employees will happily recommend rolls to try along with all the other main dishes they have and some of the best Saki!!!

me and my wife have gone there 3xs and we love their sushi they are gigantic sushi rolls the midland sushi is enormous in a point that I think I has to be cut in 1/2...but other than that good place..

Better than I expected for sushi in Midland. Most the fish was fresh. There was some of the less ate fish that wasnt fresh. Was very disappointed in the fatty tuna. But that quality of fish is not gonna be fresh in Midland.
