I had the poke taco which was fantastic! Friend had the burger - will definitely be going back to try the Flautas and the corn - the food passing by going to other tables looked amazing. Great spot to try for dinner and drinks as well! Went at 11:30 and had no problem getting a table! Left with a matcha tea - which the drink menu definitely was intriguing

Chilaquiles are not good and $17 for a tiny bowl. The menu says egg but apparently it s an add on. I ve tried their shrimp plate which also wasn t good. Their coffee is ok at best. Service is bad they take really long and do not check up on you. Only good thing I ve had was the matcha horchata.

Our first time here was for Brunch on a Saturday and we loved it! The details in design and decorations create a fun and welcoming environment. They had DJ Bryan Salazar playing which was a great addition to the already well curated vibes. The drink menu is unique and the food did not disappoint! We had the iced green tea horchata, ocean water, chicken and waffles, and brunch burger! Everything was delicious. We will definitely be back!

Second time I come this week and second time theres something missing on my plate on Tuesday they didnt add my slaw on my sandwich and our food took well over 30 mins to get not to mention wait staff is just standing around by the register talking and on their phones. Today went for brunch to give them another shot and $17 for tortilla chips and 1 egg is outrageous and yet again didnt get chicken on the chilaquiles and inedible way too salty. Drinks took 20 mins to come food another 40 mins. The wait times are crazy long wouldnt come back. Waitress seems to not care if your order is wrong.

This place was a huge let down in comparison to their social media presence. Service was very slow, I believe part of it may be the seat yourself instructions there. The food was greasy, bland, and not worth the high prices for what it is. The coffee was very watered down as well. Here is my more detailed review for those that want specifics: Upon entering the café, everything looked good. The music was decent and it seemed busy but not so busy that it would lead to a bad experience. Service was rather slow because of how busy it was, but we didn t mind. The biggest complaint was paying $60 dollars for coffee and an appetizer, both of which were not worth the high prices. At the beginning, it took about ten minutes after seating ourselves to receive water and get our drink and appetizer in. However, it took almost an hour for us to get our drinks and appetizer out. I had the churro cold brew, a friend had an iced mazapan latte, and my mother had an espresso martini. I was incredibly let down by both coffees ordered. The cold brew was incredibly watered down and tasted unpleasantly earthy compared to what it was supposed to be. The mazapan latte was the same, but had a chalky aftertaste that was unlike anything either of us had had in any coffee before. The only decent drink was the espresso martini, which is why I give this place another star. As for the appetizer, we got a sampler with ground beef empanadas, fritos rollos, and chicken-curry flautas. This was probably the most disappointing. Twenty-five dollars for raw pastry, bland beef, and cold food. The rollos were crispy on the outside, but had raw dough under the one crisped layer. The beef was the same as the one in the empanada, or maybe it was different. Either way, all we could taste is the grease they had fried the empanadas and rollos in. The empanadas were the same as the rollos, bland beef and raw dough in the corners of the food. The flautas were probably the only good thing on the plate, as they were the most cooked and most seasoned item we had during the entire experience. Our group ended up paying for our items and leaving to a smaller, local restaurant for better food and drinks. I would like to say that something good came out of supporting this local and new place, but ultimately the experience felt like being at a chain restaurant rather than a local place. Overall, I believe that this location is much better suited to be a bar rather than a breakfast/restaurant/café.

Worst service imaginable. Waited lord knows how long for our drinks and food. Could ve gone to a nearby bar, get drinks maybe some food, use the restroom, come back, and our drinks would still not be served. But seriously though it sucked.

Usually have great service and hit up Leyenda once a week but we came for brunch today (Saturday 7/27) and service sucked. Took 20 minutes for drinks and nearly 2 hours to get food. Definitely not worth your time and money. If you have plans after brunch don t plan on coming here unless you have no plans for the day.

Hidden gem in Midland! Cafe vibes meets upscale food with top-notch service. Mayan wings with cilantro ranch are a MUST. Loved the sampler, especially empanadas & Frito rolls. Biscoff tiramisu was good, but could use more biscoff flavor. Pricey, but perfect for special occasions. Cant wait to return!

Everything was great. The service was nice and friendly. The restaurant was extremely clean. The food was amazing as well. The Buffalo chicken sandwich is extremely good, and the tuna tacos are so fresh that youd think they just might have caught it right as you ordered it. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an amazing meal and a great atmosphere to enjoy. I was there after lunch rush, but before the evening rush. It was very pleasant. There is plenty of setting, and it has a bar as well. Even between the rushes, there was a steady arrival of new customers. I would gladly recommend this inviting restaurant to anyone. Parking: Parking is limited to the street around the restaurant. One of the fallbacks to this is that it is limited to 2 hours. I wanted to stay longer. But, that is only a problem until 6 pm. I guess you could always just move your car to a different space if you really want to stay longer and possibly have any reason not to.

Was here for the first time and literally took 25+ minutes for us to get our cocktail and when we got it, it wasn t even cold. Ordered the burger it was good but I could not finish it because it was so salty. We went Friday evening. I feel like they need another bartender to help out because everyone was complaining about the slow service. The environment is nice but we just decided to close our tabs and go somewhere else for drinks.

Leyenda is a must for anyone wanting to try something new and delicious. This place def feels like Im in another city! The food is very creative and delicious. The live DJ has the best playlist to get you in the mood to chill eat and have a great time. Brunch is live and you can also bring your family. The coffee is the best in the area... Trust me the cookie latte is the way to go. The deserts go harder than Chinese checkers!

The photos are deceiving for what you get. It is a very limited menu with very tiny portions and expect to wait a very long time. The coffee drinks look like nothing from their social media posts and we got our hot drinks almost cold. This place is meant to be a bar and not brunch/breakfast.

I wish I could rate the food or even the cocktails alas I can t because we sat here for a good 30min with nothing but water. The waitress walked around aimlessly past our table multiple times not once taking as much as my drink order (the Welcome to The Jungle sounded good on paper though ). Also this is the first time a $45 pour of neat tequila was served with a heavy salt rim and what tasted like some tap water mixed with the Reposado. It s too bad every time a place sounds good in this town it s such a letdown.

The good vibe is there! Truly enjoyed just sitting in the space. The price for freezer food like chicken and toaster waffle for $18 was wild. The coffee drink was great. I ll get that again! Deff won t go there hungry. Left feeling excited about the time I spent with a friend catching up.

Awful service! The food is very expensive and was not good. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and the wagyu was so over cooked and super dry. I was only able to order one drink during the whole two hours I was there, because the service was awful and it took about an 1 hour -1 hour 1/2 to get anything.
