First time to Stix. We loved it. Fun live music. Our server was Diamond. She was great; fun and friendly. We had the loaded fries. They were great - crispy. The elote had to much lime juice. I had grilled Cali chicken sandwich. It s tasty. They forgot to put on the ranch dressing but Diamond took care of me.

We recently threw a surprise 40th birthday party at the Stix for my brother. We were in the private party room in the back and it was perfect! We had about 50 people (adults & kids), we did the burger bar (so good) and had a cash bar setup. Alyssa was our dedicated server and she was wonderful, she communicated well with me and my SIL about every detail during the event and kept everything cleaned and stocked. Dani was our bartender and she made some killer drinks and kept up with the chaos. I would highly recommend having your next event there and would recommend asking for Alyssa and Dani. Truly 10/10! Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly!

We showed up with a party of 20. They lets us sit without any question. Helped us graciously. Service was friendly and prompt. Let us have separate bills for each family. Kids had a great time. Parents enjoyed themselves. Food was made fresh and all correct. I dont have even a small complaint. Everything was perfect. Kid-friendliness: Kids had a great time playing outside. I want to start by saying the Stix is one of my favorite places to come. I have been coming here since it was opened to the public. Stix is where I met my husband and where he proposed to me . This is a very special place to us. Having said that, I see a slow and spiraling turn for the worse. Some of the most loyal, devoted employees have started disappearing over the last couple months (Chris, Larry and Heriberto) and is very unsettling. Those are backbone team members and should be retained at all cost. This tells me that owner/ management is unappreciative of what they have. Especially the hands off/hide in the office douche bag manager manny. Of all the years we have been coming here, I ve maybe seen him out of the office 5 times but never helping out, talking to customers, etc. I guarantee he has no idea who we are. I still come here but it seems like the general atmosphere is trending to the negative. I hope that some sort of positive change is implemented. I would like to recognize Jake, Zee, Diamond, Chicago, Dani, Mary, Jeffrey, Brittany, Reid, Mikey, Katie, Josh. They make this place special and always make us feel welcome here. Good food? Hardly! Ordered the $15 patty melt first off that s a ridiculous price for a patty melt to start with. Service was incredibly slow despite what looked like dozens of employees lurking about. But back to the patty melt. One of the earmarks of a patty melt is that it s grilled so the cheese melts. The menu said it would be on Texas toast, and they weren t kidding: it was literally lightly toasted bread that was almost white still. It had an obviously pre-made patty of meat that was a little off like it was too old. Horrible flavor. The cheese wasn t even melted! It was like they threw together this nasty sandwich and tossed a slice of cheese on it and called it a day. We sat on the patio and I was happy that they had a play area for kids, but the kids didn t stay on the play area, they were running around on the patio deck between the tables much of the time. We were trying to see / listen to some friends performing but had large groups of people standing around in our way because they were trying to pounce on nearby tables as they opened up. Very annoying. Felt like someone was standing over us as we ate. I guess they have noise issues with the neighbors because the acoustic guitar music was turned down so low it wasn t enjoyable. Haven t been back since and I probably won t be. Edit September 2024 - Gave them another shot, when I came to see a friend of mine perform there. I ordered a burger and my daughter s boyfriend ordered the patty melt like I talked about in my first review. I could hardly believe it, his sandwich looked exactly like the one that I had. Lightly toasted bread and a couple of slices of cheese that weren t even melted. I took a photo of it this time. Oh, and that red thing that I m showing you? That s the burger I ordered. Don t get me wrong I like medium rare steaks, but this isn t a steak and it s not even medium rare. It s just a half step above raw hamburger.

I went to this establishment after hearing many people say how good the food and environment was and i was not disappointed!! I ordered the chicken strips with gravy which were fairly priced and tasted great! I also had a few beers that were cold. The environment was super chill and seemed like there were many activities for all ages here. Lastly, the service was TOP NOTCH!! My waitress (maddy) was very fast and friendly!! I took my wife and kids here and our server Holden was amazing! At first I was not sure about going here, because I d never been before. But our server Holden helped me find an amazing dish that I ended up loving. He even had conversations with my 5 and 7 year old sons and found them both something that they absolutely loved. If you go to Stix and have Holden as your server consider your self absolutely blessed as he was so easy to work with and accommodating of the little extra things we asked for. We have been going to STIX since it opened, and they never disappoint. Great food and all of the customers are relaxed and enjoying themselves. If the weather is nice, their outside area is great and the athletic field for the kids to run and play is perfect while the parents relax. The last two visits we had, we had an awesome server....Clarabelle. She is very fun and engaging, and makes sure you are getting what you want. She is also great at making suggestions. Food was great, the servers did not check on us as often as I would have expected given the size of our party (29), good music was playing loud enough to hear but quiet enough to still be able to hear each other. Vegetarian options: Several salads on the menu. Dietary restrictions: Servers will note customer requests when ordering. Parking: Parking in front and parking lot on the side of the building and neighboring businesses. Kid-friendliness: Very kid-friendly. Great spot to catch up with friends with live music in the background. Service , even when busy and packed atmosphere, are well above industry standards at a smaller venue. Honestly, other restaurants should take notes. Food continues to be setting a high bar. I tried the Queens Turkey sandwich and the jelly spread made me rethink 40 years of plain boring sandwiches. Will order again! They even hired small green interns to make sure I was enjoying my meal! Kid-friendliness: If you have kids, they need space to run off their energy. This is the spot hands down.

This was our first time here and we loved it. Chicago was our waiter and he was personable, a great listener, and gave us a great experience. This is my very favorite place. I love this bar. I actively avoid going into most drinking establishments, soley based upon the fact that Im not much of a drinker. HOWEVER. If you would like to meet the SWEETEST bartender, who is like a mom to everyone she meets, and wears her heart of gold on her sleeve, please head over to The Stix and ask for Brittany. My family has come here quite a bit and have loved everything about the vibe, food, music, etc. Today my family went and I ordered the patty melt which is one of my favorites. After i ate almost all of the first half I was going to give my 11 month old some of the bread. Once i flipped over the bread I noticed that it had mold on it. I was terrified that I almost fed that to my daughter but also just realized i was served moldy bread and ate it without knowing it was there. We told the waiter and she took the sandwich back to the kitchen and brought me another one (without mold thankfully) and the manager removed the meal from our ticket. The service was handled well but now I am throwing up sick a few hours from being served the moldy bread. I understand things happen and everyone is human but now I m sick from food i was served while also trying to take care of my daughter. The kitchen staff should examine bread fully before sending it out to paying customers. Im just thankful that I am the one dealing with this and not my daughter because I would not have been as nice. My family will be back in the late future but will not get anything with bread (or will at least inspect every inch of the bread)
