Town Park is located on Main Street just seconds away from the Historical Downtown Mansfield and across directly from the Main Street Lofts providing a family fun oriented environment for just about anyone looking tonget outside and enjoy the lovely outdoors. At this park, they offer basketball courts and also a volleyball court with sand. There is a huge covered Pavillion with plenty of benches and tables to sit at to host your next birthday party. There are also multiple BBQ grills at this location as well. They have 2 childrens playgrounds with slides and swings. This park also connects to the Walnut Creek Linear trail that goes all throughout the city of Mansfield City Parks. On the trail, there are plenty of picnic tables with benches sitting underneath trees that provide plenty of shade. There are also many of Texass state flowers, the beautiful blubonnet, as well as the state tree, the pecan tree all throughout the park. Over this is such a great park to spend your precious off time whether youre looking to let the kids loose and play on the playground or maybe get a nice run/ walk on the trails or even maybe ride your bike. There are restrooms on site, and your furry friends are allowed as long as they are leashed.

A pleasant green area to take the family for a walk or to childrens games, and even bring some sandwiches and eat them there, they have tables and benches, the area does not look very big to walk long tramps, but it does to stay for a while with the little ones, I loved it Playground: It has a variety of games for children from walking to teenagers, it has a basketball and volleyball court, so they can use up their energy, the childrens games are on a soft floor so they dont hurt themselves so badly if they fall, I would return them. to take away Dog-friendliness: I saw that they had dogs walking but all on their leash. Picnic area: It has tables to eat or even a grill in case you want to spend more time and cook there

Park is big enough to go on walks with your pets or by yourself. There are several tables with benches and benches to take a break, have a snack, read a book, or just enjoy nature. It was quite busy in the early morning, lets say 7.30. Parking is de ent not too big or too small... nice playground to bring the little ones. I enjoy my morning walking around.

Nice clean and fun for 2+ years old. This is the bigger kid part but right beside it is a baby play area for smaller kids. Playground: This playground is a rather large area and is very kid-friendly. With water fountains as well as restrooms right beside playground. Toilets: Clean area and they have air blowers instead of napkins.

The park is well suited for families of all ages. There are stroller friendly trails, and a smaller playground built for new walkers and preschoolers. There is a restroom, there was no changing table in the womens. The toilet paper was stocked well, but I would bring hand sanitizer in case of soap shortage. There are plenty of trash cans around if you do need to dispose of a diaper or food. There was a water fountain with a button to fill up a bowl of water for dogs, however, when I visited the water was shut off. I suggest packing water for yourself just in case. The walking trail is beautiful, with some areas marked as under surveillance by camera. There are trail markers every 100 ft or so to mark your location in the event of an emergency (so authorities can reach you faster). The park had many trees and the trail was almost in complete shade from the sun.

The town park in Mansfield is a friendly and convenient place to bring family to get some exercise, have a picnic or just have a brief escape into nature. The town park is annexed to multiple other parks within Mansfield, and you can walk from one park to another via the connected trail. Don t forget to bring a bike for the trail if you love biking!

We chose this park for a family outing and it did not disappoint. It has grills with covers that are pretty decent in size. There is lots of space to eat. For sport there is a volleyball pit, basketball court and a play ground. My favorite activity was bike riding the trail that led to another nearby park.

My grandson is 4 and loves the playground equipment here. He also like to run and jump, a lot, so the amphitheater and surrounding paved trails are also a draw. Clean and accessible bathroom facilities coupled with plenty of benches and picnic areas make this a perfect family excursion. Everything is well tended by the Mansfield Parks Department.

It would be a good idea to enjoy a meal in this place where the kids can play and have some fun. Theres a walking trail near by as well the place is nice. We saw a rabbit there which is kinda cool. I highly recommend it for the family.
