About the Company
rating: 4.7
Lone Pint Brewery started as a dream shared by a brother and sister, brewed twenty gallons at a time, in a modest two-car garage. After perfecting their recipes, choosing a yeast strain, and mastering the water chemistry, the duo was ready to share their creations with the world. Lone Pint Brewery was opened in 2012. That’s how we grew into the Brewery we are today, with dozens of ales and multiple brew series to our name. However, we are still a grassroots insurrection with the true beer lover in mind. We continue to use raw whole cone hops to create local Texas ales that are tasty, hoppy, and quaffable.

This is one of my favorite spots in Magnolia even if it is an outside venue with the only air conditioning being in the restrooms. They have the best beer around at very reasonable prices and we love coming for jukebox BINGO (offered on Friday & Sunday)! Free to play and you can earn vouchers for free drinks. Wonderful, friendly staff with a different food truck every time we visit. Kid and dog friendly. Highly recommend you stop by and check it out!

My husband loves Yellow Rose. We were close and I lost a bet....so his choice. Pleasantly surprise....i have a terrible palate for anything other than blue moon or miller lite. Their Mein Shatz was perfect. Corn hole for the gaggle of kids we brought worked out. Needless to say .... im driving home. My husband spent $100 on beer and swag.

Have loved this brew from afar. Finally had the opportunity to visit on the way through town (well, kind of....perhaps drove a few miles out of the way, but well worth it!). 1. The brews are fantastic and unique. Im a huge hopped quaff critic. LONE PINT meets the standard and stands in my TOP 2 TX breweries! 2. Lovely town and location. (One recommendation: use the website to direct patrons to the Methodist Church parking... had to call and confirm where I could park) 3. Food truck on site provides solid choice to accompany your bev of choice. 4. Set up as an American Beer Garden - whats not to love! They bring in live music and Jukebox Bingo. So worth the visit..and for New England IPA lovers, hit the Yellow Rose SMASH IPA (smash = single malt single hop)...they hit this one out of the park!

I enjoy Lone Pint, however I wish it was more kid friendly as is advertised (and specifically asked before going for the first time). If the kids run around and play and just be kids, they get yelled at to be quiet and not run around. Sorry, but thats not kid friendly. Tried to give it a chance but unfortunately happened more than once several months apart.

Outdoor taproom in a container with many picnic tables around an excellent music venue. Lots of SMASH IPAs (single malt and single hops), which is good for comparing hops and malts but typically not suitable for complexity. With that said, the beers are flawless but not very complex. I enjoyed a couple of the non-SMASH beers very much. There was a great food truck here, and it was excellent. I would like to see the music venue sometime.

Whenever possible we try to stop by Lone Pint Brewery when we are in Magnolia. Its tucked into the heart of town and has a very nice shady beer garden. I wish they served some food or snacks, but there is sometimes a food truck around and there is a fried chicken place just next door. Indoor seating is not really an option here, but it is dog friendly and theres music and games going on quite often. Weve been coming here for years and will continue to visit. My favorite is Mama Yellow Rose. ~Ruth Gracey, Owner - Great Houston Properties Real Estate

Yellow Rose is come to be my favorite beer. When every I am out and I find it on the tap list I always get at least one. I wish they would bottle or can this beer as I would stock it regularly. Update - Lone Pint now does bottle in large bottles at least so you can stock these beers at home. The brewery is fun to visit and is dog friendly. Since it is all outside be prepared for Texas weather or visit in the cooler months. We just visited again and they keep improving their outside space. They had a great pizza food truck called pound town. Great beer and pizza and it is very dog friendly. A must visit brewery.

The brewery was not open for touring. We had a couple of beers. They carry pale ales and IPA mostly, so if your a blonde fan this place is not for you. They do not offer food, but they had a Brazilian food truck that was onsite, for those with a hungry palette, but that was unattended. It was a hard pass on the food. We went across the street to chicken express and bought food there. It was very hot. It is not a comfortable place to visit in summer. Horrible. They need to add coolers or more fans. They bartender was friendly, and that was impressive, considering she is in a non air-conditioning environment. They are LUCKY to have her. For the love of God get your bartenders an AC even if it only blows on them. This is a winter place to visit and not a summer place.

Two things that would have been helpful to know before getting here... parking is across the street from the United Methodist Church on Commerce street (dirt lot) and there is no inside/air conditioned area that I saw, but neither negatively impacted our experience. Nice open beer garden, with plenty of shade and what looks to be a local band setting up. I have been a fan of Yellow Rose since the first time I tasted it, and none of the other beers I had here disappointed. Koozies that fit the glasses are $3 and I feel way worth the $$. If you dont like beer they serve wine from Bernhardt Winery up the street and cider from City Orchard in the HTX. Worth a visit!

I liked it. It was a great place to spend some time, listen to music, people and dog watch. I had the ginger ale - bit of a kick, but flat (wouldnt recommend). My wife had the Zenos which was _good_ from my sample and I would recommend. The only downside to the beer garden is there is no food. You can grab from the Chicken Express or Burger King, or get it delivered. Yes, they are _supposed_ to have food trucks, but it didnt get there until we were leaving.

When we visited, there was a pizza food truck and vendor tents on the perimeter. . The beer selection was good. We really enjoyed the gin barrel aged beer, and I liked the brown on nitro. Delicious! . It was chilly this day, with the wind having free access to our seats. We cut our visit short for that reason, but well be back!

Craft beer is an industry that continues to capture the imagination and tantalize the taste buds of millions. It is great when you can find a brewery that brews multiple beers of distinction but it is even better when you can find a brewery that offers an amazing atmosphere in which to enjoy the brew. Such is the case with Lone Pint Brewery in Magnolia, Texas. Lone Pint has been open for several years and the ownership has managed to make a great thing even better. The beer is outstanding with Yellow Rose IPA, Jabberwocky Double IPA, Gentleman s Relish Brown Ale, and others served as part of the regular rotation. These beers are what really put Lone Pint Brewery on the map. Yellow Rose, in particular, consistently ranks among the best beers brewed in the state and anyone who considers themselves a hop head will fall in love with this beer and the others in the regular rotation. But don t stop there- be sure to sample some of the other beers on tap, as there always seems to be a barrel aged beer or some other special release added to the lineup. Possibly the greatest improvement at Lone Pint Brewery over the years is the addition of the beer garden. This large, outdoor space features dozens of picnic tables and a stage for live music, as well as quick and easy access to the bar. Since it s outdoors, it is dog friendly also. And the schedule has been expanded so that fans of the brewery can visit just about any day of the week and hang out in the open space with their favorite brew. The live music only plays on limited days, but music or not, the beer garden is still a great place to be. If you get hungry while you drink, there are often food trucks on site, serving some of the best food the area has to offer. Taking all factors into account, Lone Pint is an excellent brewery serving up delicious ales with a large, open beer garden that is all but certain to brighten your day and keep you coming back for more.

My wife likes to come play bingo on Sundays so we try to make it out to enjoy some good beers and BBQ. She goes for the Habanero porter and I like to try different growlers. Its really a nice beer garden & the people are always friendly.

The beer I had was great, although the neighbors (Im assuming the Chicken Express) were pretty ignorant. Wouldve loved to stayed and checked out another beer, but was told the tow trucks were coming and I ended up leaving because they didnt seem to have parking of their own.

Incredible beer! Ive been a fan of Yellow Rose since it hit the market, but ever since I tried Jabberwocky, I just cant stop drinking it. Its that good. Everything works perfectly on this beer. The hops. The IBUs. The malt bill. Dont ever stop brewing this beer!

Good live music. Beer always on point. Yellow Rose is just an excellent beer and getting it fresh from the tap cant be beat. The BBQ truck from Reveille is a great addition.

Apparently not all dogs are allowed, last Saturday my buddy was told to remove his dog after only being there for 30 minutes max. There were at least ten other dogs making just as much noise. Beer is good though.
