This doctor has been taking care of my neighbor for a while and he has always been very helpful. Hes direct, which some may not like, but its for their own good. Were all responsible for taking care of our own health as much as we can but it seems some of the negative reviews here dont want to hear it. Im thankful for this doctor and I will continue to bring my neighbor to see him.

Any one of my dogs is a better doctor. I have never been treated with a worse bedside manner. I saw him 3 times and each visit was worse than the last. He expects you to be less than 20% BMI within 6 months and nicotine free in 3. He hates it if you have questions or disagree with his plan

In my experience the first visit was nice and Dr Theesfeld actually seemed to understand my issues and pointed out issues I didn t know I had The second visit wasn t as pleasant The last visit didn t go so well I didn t bring my empty med bottles and he disrespectfully talked down to me very unprofessional at best became very upset and visibly angry at me No one will talk to me or disrespect me as he did Think twice before dealing with this person! Also he is know widely in the local medical field and I have had no less than 5 medical perfessonals tell me his past and to get away from his care You decide

My initial visit with Dr. Theesfeld was a pleasant one, he is knowledgeable and caring, his staff are also very kind. One of my problem areas is my neck, I have limited rom w/pain, but Im told injections are necessary and will help. Injections are something that I have had a fear of. Dr. Theesfeld has helped a lot by explained the procedure which has given me a better understanding and has somewhat calmed my fear, really hope they help. Will post updates.

Where do I even begin? The staff here are all very kind and helpful. I am bound to a manual wheelchair and they rolled me around to everywhere I needed to go in the office. I ve been to other medical clinics which are nearly completely handicap inaccessible and I m treated like my disability is an imposition. Not here! Now, to Dr. Theesfeld, himself. I made an appointment with him because a fellow resident at the assisted living facility I call home highly recommended him. I was VERY pessimistic that he d help me because I ve spent COUNTLESS years trying to find a pain management doctor who would listen to me and BELIEVE me when I explain the crippling pain that I live with. I m only 42 so many pain management doctors assume that I m too young to be in as much pain as I tell them I am. Not Dr. Theesfeld! He s a good, Christian man and walks the walk. After running some tests and giving me a thorough examination of my lumbar he could see clear as day how much I was suffering and was furious about how other doctors had treated me. He took great mercy on me and I nearly cried in his office. To be listened to and believed meant everything to me. He has scheduled some X-rays and an MRI so that he can see the nuts and bolts of exactly how damaged my lumbar truly is. If you re in search of a pain management professional who won t treat you like a drug seeker/addict because you explain what you need to ease your pain so you can regain some quality of life and you live in or near Longview, Texas, Dr. Theesfeld is the doctor for you. I am so thankful he was recommended to me! If you do make an appointment to see him, tell him you heard about him from Rian (pronounced exactly like Ryan ) on Google reviews! Please write your own review once you ve see him. It would really mean a lot to he and I. May you find the relief you need!

He is a very respectable and straightforward Doctor I have ever seen. He understands the pain and I was terrified of the injections but he did a great job and talked me through whole procedure. He is a great Doctor not only does he understand the pain , but he treats the pain with different methods. He is one of the best pain management professionals in Texas.

Dr.Theesfeld is fantastic. He is the only doctor Ive been to that I felt truly knows how bad my pain is. The only chimpanzee I would have is that I had done test run over 3 weeks ago and his nurses tell me if he doesnt call he will just go over it with me my next appt. Well my next appt. Isnt until July 15th. But big kudos for Dr Theesfeld.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Theisfield today. I would highly recommend him to anyone that s looking for a pain management Dr. He and his staff were wonderful. Very caring and compassionate. Dr Theesfeld is one of the best Drs I ve ever had. His rules are strict and to the point. That s to be expected. Pain treatment is not always medication. It is treatment. He addresses the point of the pain and takes action. He not only fights for you with medical expertise, but trust this .He takes his patients needs to God daily. This doesn t even have to be said, I know he does. Don t come to him expecting your ordinary treatment plan. He will make sir you are taken care of. I believe there s much to learn from his bedside manner. Wish more physicians were like him. To the point, no beating around the bush. But, with a professionalism that surpasses human kindness. From my initial phone call from Dr. Theesfeld s office I received the most upstanding costumer service. Even though my insurance is OON. The front desk worked with me and explained everything in detail. The day of my appointment I was greeted so kindly, the rooming nurses were so sweet. Upon meeting Dr. Theesfeld, he listened to my every concern, he was very attentive and explained in detail my plan of care. I did not feel judged due to my chronic issues and he set a goal to help me get much needed pain relief and help with day to day living. I am very grateful for his help and highly recommend him as a provider.

Dr. Theesfeld has been my pain management for 5-6 years. In my opinion all DOCTORS should have to take a politeness and caring class from him. This is a drug despencery that gives a lot of unessary test and bills your insurance. If you miss appt. You get bill 75$ for missing. And you are treated like a drug addiction that is constantly under suspicion. And expected to take more meds than you need. I would NOT recommend this clinic unless you are someone that has to have a lot of pain meds

Dr Theesfield and his staff are caring and professional. My quality of life has greatly improved thanks to Dr Theesfield! I fell off of a roof 27 years ago and broke my back. With the passing of time, gaining over 100 lbs and having had multiple surgeries plus complications from other chronic and degenerative vertebral conditions, I ve experienced profound challenges. I thank God every day for Dr Daniel R Theesfeld. He has been my Pain Management Doctor for 9 years! Without his medical care I would be in excruciating pain all the time. I have been in pain for over 40 years, surgery that went wrong, auto wreck, arthritis so bad i have been on Humair for over a year, i finley got Dr. Theesfield to accept me and I thank God. He and his perfectly picked staff are above the norm. I know i will always have pain, i also know im going to get a tongue lashing if I dont follow his instruction. Hes very rude. Will not allow a person to speak,his word is God! Accused me of using cocaine,and said the more I tried to explain makes him think Im guilty. Asked him to run the test again and he said thats final. Went to my PCP that same day he ran both blood and urine and couldnt find anything.What a flaky fake. Run Run as fast as you can .

One sorry excuse for a doctor. Prescribed my mother a medication for 3 months. She had been taking it and went in for follow up. He scolded her and made her cry and called her a liar to her face. He asked her why she had been taking Valium from someone else. She showed him what she was taking, what he prescribed to her.;what was prescribed to her. Shes still crying. Shes 72. We found out that the meds would show up as Valium. He still insisted she was a liar. Refuses to see her now. Apparently he doesnt know how his own prescribed meds show up as said valium..Jerk . Bad man. God sees all and vengeance is the Lords.

I have been going to pain management for approximately 15 years, in different cities I ve lived, for chronic widespread pain due to 13 surgeries for degenerative disc disease, a motorcycle accident and arthritis. I have never been to a pain management office that has been more thorough, compassionate, patient and friendly from the front desk staff, the various technicians, to Dr. Theesfeld. By all the testing involved, not just drug screening but routine blood work, neurological, blood flow analysis, etc, you will definitely find that Dr. Theesfeld has dedicated his career to providing the highest quality of health care in this area. Due to the nature of pain management itself, he must hold his patients accountable for their drug intake. No doubt he gets ALL kinds of people through his office and he must have a keen BS detector mentality. We all know opiate overdoses have grown to an epidemic of massive proportions. Due to a few bad doctors over prescribing these medications causing addiction issues and many times death, it s an ever growing dilemma for those that really need these medications to be able to get them in a safe and legal manner. If you indeed have REAL chronic pain, you will go to any lengths for relief and will be happy to be compliant with his strict requirements for being a patient. I know I will never be totally pain free again, but the medication does help significantly to help me be as active as I can. Staying in bed will not make your pain or physical condition any better, it will only worsen. You must get up and walk through it. Because of Dr. Theesfeld s dedication to his craft and his staff, I look forward to another day each morning.

From my first visit a few years back until now, I have always been treated with respect and compassion from all Dr. Theesefelds staff and most importantly him. My health and pain issues started early in my life but in my mid 30s became unbearable. Multiple doctors were amazed at my different illnesses and how I was coping. Ive even been called a zebra because of the different illnesses I have been diagnosed with. Literally, most of my adult life, I have dealt with pain, and anyone in pain understands that having relief from that pain is a God send. I truly believe God puts specific people on this earth to be healers and protectors. To me, thats the kind of person AND doctor that Dr. Theesefeld is. He works tirelessly and is always concerned about my pain AND my progress. At his office its not just about medication, physical therapies, etc, its about my complete health. Dr. Theesefeld is very intune and has been such a blessing. Because of him, I have a quality of life I wouldnt have had and didnt have before seeking his treatment. My very first appt was lengthy because it needed to be, and I am so thankful! I was amazed at the time taken to go over every aspect of my pain. Dr. Theesefeld took the time needed to go over everything in his exams, talk with me, AND really listen! You dont find that much these days in doctors. To this day, I have gotten an exceptional level of care and compassion from Dr. Theesefeld and I am so glad I made that first call. While I will never be completely out of pain, I feel I am on my way to having my best life because my quality of life is so much better now. Being able to be with my family and enjoy the little moments, make memories, and have clarity without as much pain is absolutely amazing. I would tell anyone considering pain management to talk to their doctor and make an appointment now. Life is meant to be lived to its fullest, and being in pain can prevent that. I like Dr. Theesfeld because he helps patient with real problems. He just does not hand out prescription. Thats the issues in todays society people are just given medications when not needed. So that hurts the patients that really do need it. Without Dr. Theesfeld I would not have the quality life that I have with his help. Dr. Theesfeld and his entire staff have been wonderful. I was nervous after my pain management neurologist moved after 17 years of care. After my first appointment with Dr. Theesfeld and his staff, I no longer worried. I had many questions about the continuation of epidural injections and neurotomies and all my concerns were answered without feeling rushed. Dr. Theesfeld personally gave a follow-up phone call regarding a concern I had. All doctors are busy and have little time for tasks like checking up on a patient. Dr T. ,, Is a very good pain management doctor the best doctor I have ever been to a treat me with respect and understanding he listens, and yes, he has rules. He wants his patience to go. By and that s good I like that, he always ask how my family is doing, he always ask how I m doing, and with his care and his treatments, I love to do volunteer work I am disabled, but I love to volunteer and I am able to volunteer and do a lot of work with veterans and do a lot of work volunteer work with the elderly, he is compassionate and very passionate about his work, and about his patience And I would just like to take the time to thank him for all that he has done for me. I would be lost without Dr. Theesfeld. His dedication and experience are above the norm. He has brought me from living in my recliner, to a some what active life. Updating my original review- When i first came to Dr.Theesfeld, I was in SO much pain and bedridden a lot. With his plan, my daily pain has gone from a daily 8 to a daily 2-4 with less flareups and SO much more activity! So blessed to find him!! ****** After having a visit with another Longview Pain Management doctor- and surgeon - said surgery was next, but no pain relief. I felt unheard, and I felt like me asking for pain relief immediately labeled me an addict...despite NEVER have I EVER gone through withdrawals. But- unfortunately a lot of us who suffer Chronic conditions are lumped together as drug seekers. I honestly had given up until my Primary doctor suggested Dr. Theesfeld. Suddenly there was another option!!! Looking at the reviews scared me ... but BOY I dont agree with some of these reviews. Dr Theesfeld is a no non-sense, very committed to his patients and Employees Physician. He is charged by the Law and his conscience to weed out the actual pain disabled patients from the emotionally dependent on the medication patient s. I had Employees for 30 years in my Service Business before I became disabled from bad outcomes from 5 spinal procedures by other Doctors. I can assure you that he has to walk a tightrope between addictions, and therapies that are necessary. And people are not always honest. He has to determine one from the other. I can honestly endorse his behavior and procedures. I have limited physical ability; but he has given me Quality of Life I would not have without him. I suspect the folks who are complaining about him, are low self asteem and poor me, personality types. God Bless You and Yours Dr. Theesfeld.

Power-tripping, holier-than-thou clown. Talks over and ignores you. Takes away medication on a whim, not because you dont need it anymore, but because you made him angry by asking questions and wanting to understand more instead of blindly going along with what he says. More concerned with his ego than his patients wellbeing.

Doc T gets a bad rap on people how are not following the guideline of pain management. They test you for the meds you are prescribed. When other drugs show up in your system he confronts you about them. Wants to know why you are not following his treatment. When people show up with cocaine in their system and all they want is pain meds its his job to stop them. His job is on the line if the Feds come in and check out is papers and finds he is giving out drugs to people testing positive to meth coke or weed or other drugs not in his treatment. He has been nothing but respectful tome and treats me with total respect. He ask about my family and i his. And you should not judge a man on what their kids do...take a good look in the mirror and see how great of a person is looking back at you..... only god can judge....He is the a great DR and cares about his patients so much.....

Been a patient for over 6 years, always has been knowledgeable and helpful. He is a straight shooter, and he wont sugar-coat any answers he may give. I respect him and am thankful he is fair. As anyone can tell you most negative reviews are likely posted by someone who was denied treatment or removed due to non-compliance.

When I was his patient in fort worth, he did a procedure on me and it worked perfectly!! He told me that it would last 6 months to a year. Well it lasted a whole lot longer than that , to be honest it lasted 3+ years of no or very little hip pain & electrical shooting down my legs!! WOW! WHAT A SMART AND WONDERFUL DOCTOR!!! As of today I am! Making arrangements to dump these YOUNG PUNK IDIOT dr.s ? Enough IS Enough I Cant STANDS No MORE!! I must go see the GREAT & MIGHTY THEESFELD!!!!

Hes a very rude person...has a God complex. I wouldnt send my dog there to get treated. Your better off with Xanax, alcohol, and a vicoden mixture for your pain. Very rude to patients and his staff, talks to them like common slaves on a plantation.

Dr. Theesfeld is one of the few that TRULY cares for his patients. Hes an incredible Doctor and an amazing person. He hears what you have to say, he answers your questions, and goes above and beyond to make sure your treatment plan is the best he can do for you!!! I would recommend him without hesitation!

He kicked me out and yeah maybr I deserved that but I didnt deserve for him to tell me that I didnt have the intelligence to hold a conversation with him. I have been through 4 abusive relationships in my life and I promise this man is abusive. He walks around quoting scriptures well Daniel Theesfeld Satan can quote the Bible. Other things that he said to me were personal attacks that no patient should have to go through.

He is the rudest Dr. i have ever dealt with. You cant talk while he is in the room. You cant ask any questions at all. He is not a Godly man except for the matter of him thinking he is God. He treats you like youre a 2nd grade child and he is made because he has to raise you. He was rude to his employee that was in the room with us. My husband told me that if it was him he wouldnt go back and that he would find me another Dr. if i wanted and i said yes please. I have never been so upset with a Dr. in all my life as i was with this man. He is a complete butt to everyone. I read other reviews on another web page about him that werent good either. Just check him out on web before you go to him. Just saying beware.
