LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS. STAY AWAY. If youre looking for a PCP, do not choose Dr. Huber. I made him aware that I may have adhd, I asked to get a referral to a specialist who could diagnose but he said he could do it. I took the assessment with him and he determined adhd. He asked if had depression etc all that to determine what medication to put me on and I made him aware I was not depressed. He put me on welbutrin a medication meant for depression but said it helps treat adhd. When I was telling my friends and family about this, they questioned why he put me in that. Well it was okay for 3 weeks, but I noticed I was extremely tired all the time, when I expressed my concerns, he said drink water. Well a little after 3 weeks I noticed my body got use to it and it wasnt working, he upped my dosage, Well about a week or 2 into the dosage being upped, I started feeling weird and had to leave work early, come to find out, I almost had a seizure. He does not listen to your concerns, they just write a prescription and send you on your way. On top of that, when I needed a referral to my asthma doctor, they couldnt follow simply instructions to get a referral written for my asthma doctor, it was ridiculous amounts of frustration with this place, doesnt seem like anyone knows what theyre doing. I would stay far away from this place. Find an office that cares about their clients. This place called me today after I sent an email months ago that I was no longer going to be going there, talking about how they need to update my insurance. Stay away.

Nice people up front. And even though they have terrible reviews, I was referred by our local urgent care so I gave them a shot. doctor nezerwa is useless. I m on day 7 of painful migraine. Left messages, get no response. Prescription doesn t work but I get no referral. They dont care. *Update on day 9 of migraine. Got my bill. They charge $504 for 10 minutes with a doctor who did not help me, and still has not helped me despite several attempts to contact. Most recently they removed my account from their connect app. This place needs to be medically investigated.

They were fine until they changed their policy and denied me my medications stating I need to come in every three months in order to access them. Ive been on the same medications for years and none of them are dangerous but are vital to my well-being. Their need for frequent visitations to increase their revenue is appalling and not something that works for a lot of people.

Money hungry. They constantly force extra appointments just to charge again. And then they make you wait for 40 minutes and say oh well. The office is also very hit or miss about returning timely texts or calls. I guess doctors don t consider patients customers from a service perspective. Terrible way to run a business. You got my last $140 for sitting on hold for 40 minutes for the visit. You won t get the next 5k. Short sighted decision.

Absolutely ridiculous communication from modera clinic. I ended up getting bloodwork testing done with Dr. Sirak, then on monday called to find out how to go about getting my results and next day they let me know an appointment would need to be set up to discuss them instead of giving me the option to pay for an appointment or just have the dr put a comment. They charge an extra $25 which I was not told about until it was time to discuss with the doctor after the time already set and I was in the telehealth portal. When I asked when they were going to let me know about the extra $25 the front desk said now at check in. Then today they said that since they gave a referral out (that I did not ask for) they would not refund due to insurance purposes. The doctor during the appointment said that she would have just made a comment or note about my results instead of needing an appointment (which cost time and money) after we previously discussed in the first visit which the staff did not run by her. I posted this without reading the other reviews but also believe those individuals now that I have. I have been coming here for years and I have a problem with the principle of the situation. I will no longer go here for my needs.

Very bad experience .They are all about money!!! My wife had an appointment last week for annual check ,after lab reports they asking for follow up appointment with copay 184$ actually it should be part of annual check for medication based on reports. What doctor office charges for annual check lab results and such?! and when we went to clinic to ask for lab reports and medication they mentioned its paid appointment, i asked them to cancel appointment, for that they charging 30$ its Ridiculous!!!!!!! i will not recommend this clinic for annual checkups ...very bad experience.

Most corrupt practice Ive ever been to in my life. What a terrible experience. I you read the other reviews, they are very clearly paid marketing. Scroll down for yourself and see the pattern. (There is one good doctor there, Dr. Nezerwa. He really should leave and go somewhere else). The owner (presumably) is purely profit-driven. (The staff is nice, but just read the following). For 10 minutes in the lobby, I sat there listening to the owner/doctor complain on the telephone how her doctors dont take enough appointments and working through the finer details about how her locations can increase their profits and the difficulties of expanding and the challenges of writing more wegovy prescriptions. Wow, really? Srly? Did you forget to close the door? Just wow. Then as I go to my appointment, she proceeds to tell me to get to the point and that she doesnt have enough time to listen to what I have to say so that she can get to her next appointment. If thats not the epitome of whats wrong with the modern medical system, I dont know what is. Avoid this place. Its exactly places like this that is the reason why it is so impossibly difficult to find good primary care. What an embarrassment of a doctors office.

Went in for an appointment for my brother and the front desk girl was very rude from the start!!! We have been here and been patients here for a few years, but not anymore. I will never come here again and please get new staff! The only person I will miss is Dr. Huber and it s so sad people have these jobs and don t like them.

This clinic is an absolute nightmare to deal with. I paid in advance for Semaglutide but my weekly appointments were being pushed constantly due out of stock. At one one point I was told I would be put on a waiting list and would receive a call when I could be scheduled. That never happened. A few weeks later, I called them and found out they did have it in stock but that I couldn t be scheduled for an appointment until I paid an outstanding balance of $97 that I was NEVER BILLED for. At this point I m done. I went to the office and spoke with the Office Manager. She agreed that I had not yet been billed for the $97 but that it was due. I agreed that they could take the $97 out of the money I already paid for Semaglutide and she said I would receive a check for the balance. That was six months ago. I never received a check and honestly was okay if I never had to deal with them again but today I received a collections email for $97. Again, never once received an invoice. Please save yourself the headache and frustration and stay very far away from this practice.

They are all about money!!! My son had an appointment last week and paid $175 now they re calling with labs from previous visit (last week) and saying it has to be considered an evisit which is costing another $175. What doctor office charges another visit to give you lab results and such?! Ridiculous!!!!!!! Then was told it could not be billed and had to be paid upfront before the visit. Mind you, he s an established patient of theirs! God forbid if we weren t able to pay the money so you all would have just held his labs and not provided the information?! 5/10 minute phone call $175!

Literally saved my life. I went in for what thought was a stomach virus and the nurse told me to go to the ER immediately. I was hesitant but I decided to go. I was admitted to ER and quickly schedule for an appendectomy for my ruptured appendix! If I didnt go to Modera I probably wouldnt be here today

So I am editing my comment because the service has been absolutely horrible! 1st they lost my bloodwork and is expecting me to pay for it. Second, I been waiting on the results of the imaging they did on my thyroid because he was suspecting that I could have thyroid cancer(did not know for sure) but imagine how I been feeling waiting on this! Also then I was supposed have someone go over the results in a telehealth visit and never happened. But they def are filing everything on my insurance. I been waiting on a call back for a letter I was needing written! I can go on and on about how terrible they are! I thought Dr Huber was better but obviously not because he has to yet to call back with my results! Ridiculous OH AND EVERY TIME I GO IN THERE IT IS NEW PEOPLE! Something ain t right! I absolutely love this place! The DOC has the best bedside manners! He listened to me and made me feel comfortable! I did drive about 15 minutes to get there(which is far for me) but it was well worth it! Also, the whole family will be going here.

*****UPDATE AGAIN (jan 2024)***** I stuck it out with Dr Huber and I m so glad I did. Yes, they went through a rough patch, maybe there was staffing issues, who knows. They are back on the top of their game and Dr Huber is just as wonderful as ever!!! *****UPDATE (aug 2023)***** I am devastated to report that after a wonderful 1.5 years something must have happened because suddenly there is no response on messages in the portal and multiple refill requests across all their contact options going completely ignored for days and days (well over their 72 hour refill policy or 2 day message reply policy ). Dr Huber is still great as a person but I genuinely can t stay if things are this bad because how can I be a patient and then just simply not receive patient services? :( I m sad to go . ******************* Outstanding experience. The entire staff is so nice, on-site labs, great hours, and Dr Huber is exceptional. You can tell he actually CARES about you as a person and not just going room to room handing out Rx. He takes his time and carefully and thoughtfully considers all the info, asks questions, and then forms a plan WITH you!! This is how primary care should be. I have searched so long for a practice exactly like this and I will be a patient for life. They run on time, which I very much appreciate, but even if I had to wait due to a busy day or other people before me having additional needs, I would happily wait however long because Dr Huber makes you feel like you are his only patient of the whole day. I love the patient portal, how easily I can upload my info, request appt, etc, and the ability to text the clinic to schedule is a modern feature of healthcare I did not know I needed but will now never want to be without haha. Thank you, Dr Huber, and your amazing staff.

We have used this clinic and Dr. Huber for a few years. The care and attention to patients has declined drastically. For the last several months they keep sending our prescriptions to a pharmacy we have never used. This has caused horrible inconvenience and delays in our medications being filled. We have called, texted and shown up in person to try to get it fixed. Staff says there is a note on file and they don t know why Dr. Huber keeps sending to the wrong pharmacy. Most recently, a refill was requested over a week ago. After numerous attempts to have a PERSON call us, no call and now my husband is completely out of his blood pressure and high cholesterol medications. Just a text saying they were sent in. Pharmacist confirmed all meds except the two he needs have been called in. Unacceptable for a Physician who is supposed to care for your wellbeing. Seems now, they care more for their cash aesthetics customers.

I strongly advise against trusting their staff. They consistently convey incorrect messages without thoroughly reviewing the actual reports. For example, we were told that our blood report was normal and didnt require medication, but three days later, they sent a prescription to Walmart. When we inquired, they apologized for the mistake. We were left without medication for three days, and their office demanded a doctors visit even for basic daily prescription refills

Ive been coming to Modera for 2 years now and typically have great interactions with the staff. The women who work there are always very kind and the FNP I was seeing was awesome but it seems she left the practice. However, I recently had an appointment for a suspected ear infection and I am not happy with the experience, especially with Dr. Huber. He didnt seem to care about me or my condition. He was probably only in the room for 5 minutes of the 40 minutes I was in the room. They did an ear lavage, didnt go over any risk factors associated with the procedure, but repeatedly told me it shouldnt be painful at all. It was extremely painful to the point I was in tears on the exam table. When Dr. Huber came back he asked me if I was hearing better after the lavage, I told him no that I was actually hearing worse than before and he had nothing to say about that. Not a word. Didnt show any concern or give me any explanation about why that might be. No concern about my tears. He looked in my ear for 2 seconds max, pulled away, told me I have an ear infection and hell prescribe drops and that I am good to go, then promptly left the room. I had to call after him from down the hall to ask a question because he had left so soon after telling me. He told me nothing about what to expect with an ear infection, no care instructions, nothing at all. I left in extreme pain that lasted 2 days, to the point I heavily considered going to an ER and I had to call off work. Im not sure if the lavage just irritated my infection or if it perforated my ear drum (which is a very common risk involved with the procedure that they failed to talk to me about). Its been 4 days and Im still having pain in my ear and down my neck and have very muffled hearing. I am currently trying to get an appointment with an ENT because I dont want to go back to this office. Ive seen Dr. Huber once before for a well visit and I wasnt a very big fan then either. The whole time it just seemed like he wanted to get out of there as soon a possible and didnt care about my health. I didnt want to see him this time but the FNP left and he had the only appointment that worked for my work schedule. I will be finding a new doctors office.

Have been here 4 times to Modera Clinic. 1st time with doctor Huber and was a great visit. 3rd time I was told I owed money. I told the office staff that I had insurance and I had made my copay. I was told insurance had been filed and did not pay. I ask if they would call to see if why . No I needed to do that. I called and the office had not file the claim correctly. Today office staff was very rude. Wanted my drivers license to scan in system. I did not want it scanned do to id thief. I allow them to scan. Then wanted to take my picture. Would not take a legal government I D for my picture. Had my insurance cards Drivers lic . Etc. This was the rudest office staff ever. I asked to see the office mgr. Was asked to wait in my car. After about 39 minutes I went in to check on if the office manager was in that no one had come too talk to me. She is here. I ask so you send people to the car and don t come to talk to them. I went back to my car to wait again. The office lady that was being so RUDE came to talk to me,told me to leave are the police would be called. We went to the little loan practice based on lots of recommendations from some local groups. We were really impressed with the easiness of the appointment, setting, and the doctor himself. However, it all kind of went downhill from there. We had appointments get canceled, but stay on the books, and getting refills has been like pulling teeth. My husband repeatedly runs out of medication and it takes me weeks and weeks to get them to fill it and then they ll call in the wrong medication. I ve had Bill show up in my portal even though I paid the co-pay, and I ve had Bill show up in the portal because at the time of the appointment they only took part of the co-pay, but they don t deduct it from the bill. I have called and called and texted and the portal messaging system and zero progress. I ll call and ask a question and get back because it s an answering machine. I have repeatedly left messages for the doctor to get prescriptions refilled and most the time I don t hear back at all and when I do, it s the wrong medication call Ann, and then I have to start over.

I thought Dr huber was different and actually cared and respected patients. I guess not . A patient time is just as valuable as his . To Make me wait while he laughs and talks for 15 min was disappointing. I had to go out of little room and tell the doc I have things to do . Total disregard for my time . He laughed it off a little until he saw I was pissed and serious. . I think he can be a good doc but he needs to be more humble because without patients he would be nothing . I have been a patient here for years, and have had my fair share of negative experiences & thoughts i wanted to share. However, I thought it would be a better use of my time & whomever reads this to find out something Good! Their front office staff has this incredible lady named Rene who has been going above and beyond her call of duty to help me out with something. She has completely changed my attitude towards the whole clinic. Not only did she do for me, but she did it with such a kind and caring attitude, I couldn t believe someone would do all that for me. I finally wasn t just a patient number with a problem, I felt like a person who mattered. So thank you Rene, and to the rest who really care & go out of there way. It makes such a difference when someone shows they care. I will continue being a patient at this clinic & it is all due to the kindness shown by her. Thank You again!!

I ve been an established patient of Modera Clinic for 5+ years, the FNP I was seeing left, so I scheduled with another FNP and I was denied a medication refill since my visit was an annual visit and not an office visit , the previous FNP didn t discriminate between the type of visit and always issued my medication, however this new FNP denied the refill and the office manager told me it was the clinic s policy, If that is policy the previous providers were not following it! However, I decided to proceed and I made another doctor appointment for an official office visit and I was literally denied my scheduled doctor s appointment because I would not take a picture, yes that is correct a picture. I gave them insurance and my DL and asked if my DL could be used as my picture, I flatly told no, since they now have a new system it s policy to take a picture. I ve been to other medical facilities before who asked for a picture and when I asked to used the DL it was accepted. It s understandable every medical facility has their own policies and procedures, however I ve had a relationship with this clinic for 5+ years it s crazy the medical office would choose loose a patient over a picture. This clinic is not customer focused, save yourself some time and find a different primary care office, one that values their patients.

Dont go to this clinic if you are looking to lose weight! I tried to go there for the semi-glutide shot and it has been nothing but a nightmare. First, good luck even trying to receive a weekly shot. They never have the shot available. I was told numerous times, we will call and let you know, but no one ever called me. I asked them why they never have it in stock and finally someone admitted because they didnt know when they were supposed to be ordering the shot and they hope to figure it out soon. Second, I have never seen so many people struggle to figure out how to handle billing. Each time I had to stay and wait for an hour and show them what I was charged by the clinic. They told me they had no record of my payment, when I emailed them proof, I was told it wouldnt happen further, but somehow the notes magically disappear. Again, I was told they switched to a new system, but after a couple of weeks, no one still has a clue what is happening. Hence, keep proof of payment!

I really liked this clinic for awhile but they ve gone downhill lately and this policy demanding I come in every three months to renew a Rx I ve had for many years has driven me away. I had literally just been in the office four weeks previously for back pain and they took my blood pressure then but they would not fill my Rx unless I came in yet again to confirm yes the BP meds are fine. Caution! If anything like Prosper location be warned. 3 weeks waiting call about lab results which are there whole time. Calls and messages on Portal mean nothing, no response. Front desk solution was to make me PAY for a virtual visit to get a doctor to go over labs. With In response to the company reply it was significant abnormality!!! My tsh level was 0.05! Doctor did call me because it was abnormal but it took 3 weeks to get a call. Meanwhile I left messages in the portal and calls for nurse line after a 1 and again 2 weeks of waiting...no one ever responded! Also since I had two other doctors review my labs and I was tested for something completely unnecessary (no stomach issue or travel to foreign country) and I was NOT tested for Lyme as should of been.

Though I like Dr. Huber, his office staff seem to be incompetent. I had a visit on July 26 and he prescribed 2 prescriptions. One was called in but the other was not. It has been 8 days and I have texted EVERY day to get the second Rx called in. They keep telling me theyll message him but it is still not called in! Im not sure if they want me to pay another office visit to get the second one filled???? Meanwhile my condition worsens and no one is listening or correcting the error. I will have to seek another provider because of the disorganization of this office.

I went for an annual medical exam and Ashlee (FNP) asked me if I have any other issues that I want to speak about. I responded that I work out heavily and have back pain often due to it. Is there anything to worry about based on your experience? She said it s quiet normal and there is nothing to worry about. I was charged $130 when no medication or resolution (which i did not require anyways) was prescribed/recommended. That s most likely my last visit to Modera as they have become a dollar making machine rather than really providing medical care

I use to love this Office. The staff like Elliot is amazing . But unfortunately it seems like Ive become a dollar sign. They claim that my condition requires 3 months regular follow up. Ive worked in the medical field 6yrs and have never seen that for someone with my condition. But yet its a new policy . This office is very incompetent. I got the runaround for over a month about a refund check and was then told it was dropped in the mail. After a week of waiting and never receiving it, I reached back out and they told me to come pick it up in person. When I showed up in person, they told me they couldnt find the check and their billing person, Melissa, was gone for the day and to come back tomorrow. Its tomorrow now, and another person in the office just wrote me a check in front of me that was supposedly dropped into the mail over a week ago. I wont be coming back.

Let me start this by saying I ve never given a 1 star review. But I feel as though I ve been to modera enough times to give it. It s been over a year since I started going-I ve been to both the prosper and little elm locations. It has been the worst medical experience of my life, specifically at the little elm location. I have felt that the nurses do not listen or care about your symptoms. Of course they ll ask your symptoms but no clarifying questions so things could easily be missed when diagnosing. I always find myself interjecting to share more. I fully believe they are there to prescribe you and get you out. They make you pay all of the fees up front and the fees are much more than I ve ever paid elsewhere. It may as well be a minute clinic because it will cost the same in the end. (And you might get a better experience from a minute clinic tbh) The front desk staff might have 1 person who knows why they are doing and the rest have no clue. I ve left most appointments crying because I don t feel heard or helped. The only good thing I have to say is that my 1 or 2 visits with dr Blair thwaites were great, she s the only person I ve actually had listen, question and offer other options (natural too!) rather than pushing meds. I know there s some good reviews on Dr Huber but i never got to visit with him

I wish I had the option for 0 stars. This has been the worst doctors office I have ever been too. They are extremely fraudulent and do not care about you at all. Believe every single bad review posted. They are all the truth. Went in for an annual check and was charged extra for all sorts of things that should have been covered. Made an appointment to get on medication, explained my history and the physician refused to listen and just prescribed me what he wanted me to be on. I am not a patient to them. I am a paycheck. I can t get them to call in medication refills even after I find the pharmacy that has it in stock. They ignore emails, don t return calls, lie to your face, and then bill you for it all. STAY CLEAR OF THEM!! I tried sticking it out for 6 months and in never improves. Only gets worse.

Believe the bad reviews - this place is clearly paying a marketing company for fake reviews. Its been a month of calling regularly and I still dont have one of the referrals my doctor recommended. Theyve added a psychotropic chemical dependence note to my medical records because Im being treated for ADHD and got other information about family cancer history wrong. So thats just great. And I still have the exact same condition that I brought up in my visit with the doctor. Steer clear of this place.

You cant get your refills in a timely manner. It generally takes 2 weeks and another of phone calls to get your meds. Do not get on their monthly well check program they set an appointment miss it re set it miss that than charge your account anyway. Dr. Is great office not so much.

Update to my review: Unfortunately this office has gone downhill. I went in for my annual visit. I scheduled an ANNUAL online. I waited 40 minutes and didn t see anyone. This was at 9 am in the morning. How can you be 40 minutes behind at 9 in the morning?! So I walked out. I tried ONE more time and once again they were behind but only about 15 minutes. I was told I owed $150 right when I walked in. Which was wrong since a- my copay is only $25. And b- it s a YEARLY appointment. It should be free. So I told them that. They said oh I don t have it noted that it s a yearly. I said, well, when I made the appointment that s what I said I wanted. So, I had my yearly, took 15 min. Went over medications. Asked for a refill of one of the medications we were talking about. Got my blood work, checked in at the front desk and left. They called me and said because they gave me a refill, it would be a $25 copay. It was no longer a well visit. What?! They were doing everything in their power to code it into a sick visit from the moment I walked into the door!!! How unfair, dishonest, and rude. The lady I spoke to was rude and said I left without checking out (which was wrong because I did check out with the front desk and that lady told me to leave). I ve never been more disappointed with an office that had so much potential. I went to modera clinic because I needed somewhere to go when I m sick, and somewhere close. The office is very inviting and clean. Elliot (the nurse) is awesome. He took my baby for me, and was very friendly. My first office visit didn t go as I had hoped. I didn t feel I got what I came in there for. So I wrote about my experience here. I got a call within an hour from the office manager, followed by Dr Santiago herself. She then told me to come back in for free so they could fix my issue. I appreciated such a fast response. And any doctor who cares enough to call you themselves is a win in my book. My second visit I felt like everything was done that needed to be done, and Elliot actually found me a coupon for an expensive medicine. I will come back again next time I m sick. Thank you.

Hold prescriptions hostage. Claim to be PCP but require monthly check ups to maintain scripts, forced to pay visit costs. Nothing more than a cvs clinic. Purely for profit facility. Needed blood pressure medication. Required office expenses exceeding $150 out of pocket per visit to maintain medication monthly. For reference this was a $6 medication. The nurse practitioners (Sarah) act like doctors but have zero knowledge and training outside the common colds. Don t waste your time and money. Think you can message a physician regarding specific information ? Forget about it. You re told you ll hear a response in 24 hours but nothing comes of it. Zero knowledge of pharmacology. Don t believe me? Waste your $ and make an appointment

Full disclosure: I love doctor Huburt, but I am extremely upset with my recent experience. I visited the doctor on 03/22/2023, due to a lump on my neck. Unfortunately, when I came in and saw Ashley, a PA. She couldnt even tell me where the lump was located on my neck (basic annotomy). Ashley made it clear she was unsure of where, or what the lump was. She suggested blood work and an ultrasound. I provided blood samples during that visit. Ashley advised me to go to the Frisco imaging place as a walk-in. The next day, I went to get the ultrasound and they did not accept walk-ins. Luckily, the tech was able to schedule an appointment for the same day but at a different location. The point is, Ashley, misinformed me, so it cost me extra gas and time. After I got my ultrasound reaults, I called Modera to speak to Ashley regarding my results, but I spoke to Sarah instead. A few points of frustration, one of the blood vials could not be tested apparently, so Sarah suggested that I come back in the get blood drawn again. I also looked on my member portal to check the details of the radiology report but they were not available. My overall experience was poor, and I hope that doctor Huburt follows up with his staff regarding these issues.

the nurse practitioner seemed great or so I thought the next day I tried to get in contact with her through the portal like she told me to 3 days passed by no response I called next day no response called again finally got a reply once I told her my concerns and her advice I haven t heard anything from her going on a month now then when my husband went they didn t tell him upfront if he had to pay anything or how much it would be they waited until afterwards then got mad when he told them he didn t have that much on him then gave him attitude then proceeded to tell him I owe them money from my wellness visit and argued with him about it first of all I am a MA and work in a clinic your wellness visit is free every year so I ll be finding another clinic

Horrible customer service. Front desk doesn t even apologize if they mispronounce your name or made any efforts to try to pronounce it the correct way. Receptionist is no help. She wants you to text insurance information when you are talking on the phone instead of just taking the information verbally. At the end she hang up the phone on me. Fraudulent office, not oriented to patient care. Extremely money oriented. I went in for an annual visit that insurance covers and they asked me if I wanta refil for my existing meds, I said sure. They billed me an extra $125 because refilling prescriptions counts as an office visit. I have been getting an annual Physical every single year of my life, never once this happened. My wife is a physician, she could have called the pharmacy to prescribe me, I thought my family doctor can do that so I said sure. DONT GO HERE IF YOH WANT DONT WANT TO BE SCAMMED. For anyone going here, be afraid to have a conversation with the physician or NP, because anything you say they will bill you extra for it. WORST annual visit experience in my life.

I absolutely love Dr. Huber at Modera Clinic; however, the front desk staff leaves a lot to be desired. Over the last week, I called several times in regards to a prescription. Every time I called, the receptionist advised she would send a note to the nurses station and have a nurse call me back. I have yet to receive a callback in regards to my prescription. To add insult to injury, I had an appointment scheduled over the phone yesterday. The nurse, Callie (I believe was her name) did call at the scheduled appointment. I thought she was going to provide with an update on the prescription I had been calling about; however, she seemed to have no clue what I was talking about and was extremely dismissive. I still have no clue what the purpose of the call was. Several times, I directed the conversation to the prescription issue, but she either brought up another prescription or dismissed my concern. It was like there was absolutely no record of the prescription in question or she didn t read the notes. Again, Dr. Huber gets 5+ stars from me; however, I truly wish the front desk staff was better at their job. Unfortunately, this isn t the first time the reception desk failed to pass on a request to the nurses station. Last month I spoke with TK (I believe is her name) in regards to a question with a medication. TK advised me that a nurse would callback. After not receiving a callback that day, I called again the next day to learn that a message had never been provided to the nurses station. When I m in the office for appointments, it seems like the associates at the reception desk engage in a lot of fun banter and very little work. I even mentioned this to Callie during my conversation with her yesterday; however, she completely ignored my frustration. She didn t even apologize for the horrible service I ve received. I wish Dr. Huber was at a different clinic. The receptionists in the office are highly making me consider moving my medical care to another provider!

Don t got to this provider, they run a scam business. I scheduled an Annual Wellness Visit and I was asked how I was feeling and when I mentioned by knee pain it was considered outside the scope of visit and billed separately. The provider was unable to treat my knee pain and told me to keep an eye on it and I was billed for it separately. When I contacted them about it they were un professional, first they said they couldn t hear me and I was cutting out on the phone and when I spoke loudly they accused me of yelling at them. This is what health care has come to and it s disappointing.

When I arrived the reception asked me what time was my appointment? I arrived 15 minutes early. Immediately in 5 minutes I was asked to come back into a room. The nurse checked my vitals signs along with my blood pressure. Then the nurse ask me for the reason of my visit I let her know that I need to see Dr. Huber concerning my medication to make sure everything was going on right with me. Do not get any cosmetic thing done here. They are not experienced or professional. My mom who sees the provider here will also be moving back to her old PCP now that she found him. She says they never call her with labs results and has to be on them by calling to obtain her results. She aired a month and they never sent her lab results nor referrals. This sickens me bc As a medical professional you need to attend your patients and care for them l. My mom was upset that she had to call and then even have to go up there to get her results bc they would never get back with her. Absolutely ridiculous, and it is not the first time. These doctors are money hungry and you can see they went to school just to collect that good money and not care genuinely for their patients. Youll have to check other places like yelp to get the real story. Those reviews cant be manipulated. Ive been here 3 times in last 3 months and each time they have increases the office visit price for no reason. It went from $158 to $300 . Im self pay, no insurance, so I actually care how these doctors charge. Visit 1 was $158 Visit 2 was $183 which included a steroid shot. Visit 3 was $300 which included a covid test. I did not appreciate my visit at Modera Clinic and will not be going back. If you do wish to come here, be very specific about what you are coming in for. For example, I came to get an annual bloodwork panel done and also quickly asked about a separate issue. Because of the additional question, I was given an additional charge of an office visit, which was not completely covered by insurance and cost me about $100. In addition to this, because the entirety of the visit could no longer be flagged as preventative, I received a separate bill from the bloodwork lab. At my previous clinic, I had never had these issues. I have been getting an annual bloodwork panel done for the past decade and have never been charged over $40 combined. I would recommend you ask how a visit would be charged before you go further.

I wish I could say all the good things everyone else is saying. Had an absolutely good experience when I went into the clinic and got my annual tests but after that no response/no checkin to discuss results. All I got was a text. Plus got billed by the lab for annual which are supposed to be covered by insurance.

I really like checking in online, saves a lot of time. The staff is away a friendly and compassionate when they ask the questions the reason they are seeing you. The Med student is great! Super easy to talk too and always shows empathy. Dr Huber is great! My husband & I just love him, I can always get in when I need too and texting the office makes it easy to pass messages. I m so happy I found a great clinic!

I ve been going to see dr Huber and Sarah for over a year and a half now. They ve helped me tremendously. Even if I m sick they take the time to talk to me and get me immediate treatment. My health and family life have greatly improved since going to the Moderna Clinic in Little Elm. The staff at the front have always taken real good care of me getting me in to see the dr. They do a great job with my insurance company. So I never have any surprise medical bills in my mail box later. My refills are always called in to the pharmacy no issues. I highly recommend Dr Huber and PA Sarah.

Place is always outstanding. Very informational and educating as well. The staff there is very professional and friendly. Please be careful! If you go in for a yearly checkup(free) and they want to give you a pregnancy test SAY NO! They will then turn the visit into an office visit(without letting you know) PLUS the free yearly and I had to pay $25 for a pregnancy test that I could have purchased at Walmart for $4. Please beware of their tactics. JUST LIKE KPS REVIEW THEY ARE OUT TO MILK YOU FOR MONEY! If you go for a yearly checkup answer No to everything or they will charge you.

I cannot say enough about this place it is the best place I ve gone to for my healthcare. I love every doctor every nurse the receptionist are so sweet. I have no problem with anytime that I ve ever come in. They are super thorough and ask all the questions with a few nurses then a Dr to make sure they can help you in the best way possible. They are prompt about getting your prescriptions filled on time about helping you with your health, your weight loss or dermatology as well. It s a literal one stop shop. Love this place.

Everyone in the office was super nice and helpful. Dr Huber was friendly, thorough and and spent a lot of time with me discussing my concerns and gave me a detailed plan to follow. I dropped a glass on a tile floor and got slivers in my foot. I tried to remove them myself but could not. Finally I called Modera Clinic, and they got me in the same day and removed all the little pieces of glass . I highly recommend them for all your medical needs, even the unexpected ones.

I had a good experience at Modera Clinic. The receptionists were very professional. The girl who drew my blood was very cordial. I was a little disappointed that the wait was so long, but they said there was an emergency sothat was okay. Dr. Thwaites was very nice and talked on my level so I understood everything and I got my blood results back on my phone today. So overall, good experience
