Nachos Del Mar were fabulous. I didnt get a pic before diving in :) I normally order vegan tacos but I think I have a new fave. Hubs enjoyed lunch #2 brisket taco & cheese enchilada with chili con carne and green rice. He will definitely order again. We sat at the bar for lunch. Love the decor of this place and the servers are very attentive. The green rice is a must try - its so good! So is their queso!!

Hidden Gem @ The Realm in Lewisville! The hostess, Ali, always greets you with a huge smile, and Chef personally recommends his favorites I had a light and healthy chicken bowl (lunch special) that was delish. Music is also great.

Tried this place today for lunch with some friends, and we had a great experience. Our server was nice, filled our drinks as soon as ge saw them getting half empty and joking with us as well. We had the birria tacos, carne asada tacos, and the pollo en crema. The meat in both sets of tacos was very tender and tasty. The service was on point, and the atmosphere was kind of quiet because they had just opened but it was good. For dessert we had the churros with cajeta and strawberry ice cream and the 3 leches cake. We definitely will be coming back soon.

The place is nice, the service was good. BUT, UNFORTUNATELY THE FOOD WAS HORRIBLE. To start, we ordered guava water (it was powder water). Naturally I had nothing. The tacos, the cold tortilla, the meat more or less. But the worst were the Guanajuato-type enchiladas. (what a horrible thing) THE OMELETTE IS HARD AND COLD, THE SAUCE VERY THICK AND FLAVORLESS. UNFORTUNATELY I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT .!!!

Omg the BEST! We had asada de Puerto and pillo crema. Soooo delish! Our new favorite place. The guacamole appetizer, both red and green salsa were amazing as well as my margarita on the rocks. Yummy!

The chips and salsa are great but the food was gross. Definitely not authentic Mexican food. My husband ordered the Ribeye and it looked like it was boiled. I got the pollo en crema (the description made me think it was like pollo con rajas but it turned out to be completely different) and there was no crema at all, it was just chicken fajitas with a slice of cheese on top. Also the agua Fresca was flavorless and when I got a refill Im pretty sure the waiter accidentally put alcohol in it. Also extremely over priced. Not likely to come back, which is a shame because the place is beautiful.

5 STAR REVIEW Food: We ordered the fish tacos and the chicken tacos. Before we enjoyed our tacos, we had the chips and salsas! The GREEN salsa was the best. It has the perfect amount of spice and flavor. It was creamy just like I like it. Fish Tacos - my wife described the fish as being perfectly crunchy and tender on the inside on a flour tortilla. She did say that there was a lot of the ranch sauce on the tacos which was a bit too much for her. You are served with one side of rice but, the chef wanted us to try both rice options since we were indecisive. The white rice was top of the line. Buttery goodness. The Spanish rice was great as well. 5 out of 5 Chicken Tacos - beautifully cooked chicken with quality corn tortillas. The tortillas are specially made and were a treat. They served me with a small bean soup which was full of flavor with the proper amount of onions. The Spanish rice was good as well. Quality food served 5 out of 5 Atmosphere - we arrived an hour before they closed so there was only one other couple inside which made the place really nice. Dry clean on the inside and very nice on the outside. 5 out of 5 Service - the service was wonderful considering we were the last customer of the day. They treated us like we were the first customers of the day. If you go there, ask for Juan. He is very knowledgeable and his passion for food clear to see. We didn t have to wait for our water cups to be filled. Juan suggested other things on the menu and also gave us details of how some of the food is being made. 5 or 5 Price - we spent $34. Seems like a lot for what we ordered but, we were full when we finished so it isn t that bad on price. It is a little high if I am being far. 4.7 out of 5 Overall, I am very pleased with this place. I can t say enough about our server Juan. Funny and smart. This was a late pick and I am glade we picked this place because it did not disappoint. Parking: Parking was wide open

First time here after seeing it posted on social media and thought we d step outside of our Saturday ritual. beautiful atmosphere, attentive service, nice plate presentation and delicious Micheladas. My problem was with the food. The cheese topping was cold and solid. The cod fish tacos were rubbery; you couldn t slice it with a fork, it just would not cut. WHAT was it? When brought to their attention they promptly offered to replace it only to bring another with the same texture in the middle. The only edible taco was delicious with excellent flavor combinations. My michelada glass was chipped and sharp and promptly replaced with a new drink. The chicken Cocinero was moist and delicious and the mole complimented it very well. Bean soup was left off my meal and so was the grilled jalapeño that I asked for. At the time to pay, the waiter offered to bring the left off items so we could take them home. It was about noon when we sat and there was only one full table that was already sat; yet the bathrooms looked unattended with crumbled napkins around the sinks and no hand soap in the men s bathroom. I d return for drinks and appetizers. The queso was fabulous and the chips were fresh and crisp. If it wasn t for the rubber fish and cold shrimp enchiladas I mean, serving food at proper temperatures is fundamental; come on. don t expect a visit from the manager on duty to volunteer their time to come and address the feedback. The waiter didn t comp anything off the bill, the only solution was to replace it or bring it to-go.

For lunch, we tried the fajitas (chicken and steak), tacos de birria, and the rice bowl with chicken. Although the steak in the fajitas was somewhat tough, all three entrees were excellent overall. The chips and salsa were very fresh and tasty as well. Prices were very reasonable, the service was top notch, and the restaurant had a nice vibe.

Atmosphere and service was amazing but don t go here for the food. The chili topping is canned. The parillada is $28 and comes with a small amount of steak, chicken & has a wienie on top as the sausage. Salsa tasted like salted tomato sauce.

Had the discovery of Cocinero Mexican Cuisine on Mothers Day for Brunch. Had the Breakfast Tacos with Bacon and Eggs paired with potatoes. The tacos were filled nicely and the potatoes were melt in your mouth cooked to perfection. Say yummmmm because that is what I did with each bite. My nephew had the avocado toast. Absolutely tasty. Full of fresh avocado, perfectly cooked egg and filling portions all around. We knew we would be back! We went back 3 days later for lunch. I tried the Salmon Bowl. It reminded me of a deconstructed Chipotle burrito. Everything was fresh. The lettuce, tomatoes, rice, corn etc. All so good was the blackened salmon. I savored every bite. He had the Spinach Enchiladas...perfectly presented, filled with spinach and cheese and the cilantro lime rice was a delight! I stole 2 bites of his...yummm. He got me back by taking a big piece of my salmon though. LoL The following weekend we planned a girlfriend meetup. Fajitas, Steak, and Enchiladas were the dishes picks. Juicy steak, flavorful and tender. The chicken delicious and seasoned well. You cant go wrong with any of the Enchiladas all were good. For the past 5 weeks I say that I have visited a total of 8 or 9 times to eat there. The location is beautiful, the staff is top notch and the food is a must taste. Our last visit was a Fathers day/Double Birthday Celebration, family of 16, visit (because I talk about it so often). Everyone loved the experience and several have gone back already. It was great to see so many other Families there that day. It is a newer restaurant and people are slowly discovering it. Before I end, before I go. I would be disappointed in myself for NOT mentioning the supercalifragilisticexpialidocious feeling that I, and everyone that Ive introduced their chocolate stuffed churros to, get from this deliciousnessness. OMG the churros are cooked to perfection and our go too every time! The also have a 4 Leaches Cake (Vanilla and Chocolate versions). Both appropriately moist, tasty and delicious. Again, they are a newer establishment and still widely undiscovered. A hidden gem. They have so slow periods because not enough people know about them yet. Its pretty rough in the restaurant world these DFW days with sooooo many choices. If you like great Mexican Food, definitely put Cocineros on your must try list! You will be glad you did! Looking for a way to post pictures... Im not finding a way.. so sorry. I have plenty of pictures from my experiences there. Vegetarian options: Several choices and a scratch made to order menu. Request for vegetarian dishes can be accommodated. Parking: Great parking selection. Kid-friendliness: We have taken a 2yr old, 4yr old and 9yr old and had no problems. They have a kids menu to chose from. They are a scratch kitchen and most any dietary request can be filled.

This place is so terrible it s laughable. Went there tonight, on Father s Day, and there was one other person in there at prime time 745-8 o clock. Should ve been a big red flag but gave it a shot anyways. Waiter kept rushing us, admitted that the guacamole is just crushed avocados and no flavor, plates were dirty, & the manager apologized but did nothing about the whole thing. Left before even having dinner. Do yourself a favor, STAY AWAY

I had a great experience with my family here. The part I love the most was the green salsa for the chips as the spicy level was very, very low, almost none. This was great for my older parents and my kids. I recommend the pollo en crema since it has low carbs and great flavor. The staff kept our drinks filled and excellent attention to my kids. Wow I was pleasantly surprised with the food quality and flavor. The service was very slow but I assume thats just bc theyre still probably understaffed since theyre brand new and still figuring things out. The staff was very nice and attentive otherwise. Prices are pretty decent and worth every penny. The birria tacos were also delicious and lets not forget the Churros and ice cream!!! Now that was AMAZING. We will for sure be coming back.
