This is a true hidden treasure in The Colony. The signage is minimal so they are easy to miss right off the south side of 121 before Josey and Main. The patio is a must to enjoy on an autumn afternoon. The pizza is simply perfection. The Lemon Arugula Salad is among the most savory we have ever had. So worth the search.

The wife and I wanted to try the new pizza place and it surpassed all expectations. Its cooked to order so if busy I would expect to wait. The crust was crispy while still being soft. The sauce was very good and we enjoyed the Don and pepperoni pizza. Salads were large you can order 1 for at least 3 people and the service was great! Laura was our server and she was very informative and helpful! Also the Oreo cheese cake was Amazing. Go check it out. We will be back.

Grimaldis is a great pizza place! Every now and then, their service is a bit slow, but the majority of the time they do a great job. The restaurant itself is a bit small so they often have a wait.

We chose the new Grimaldi in Lewisville, TX the Realm. We have never met a pizza we didn t enjoy, but yesterday we had the worst pizza we as a family have ever had. The cost for a medium pizza was $46 for half veggie half pepperoni, evidently each veggie was a separate charge. Fine, had it been any good. The ingredients smothered the whole Pizza and made the crust like a doughy paper. We picked up and live less than 2 miles away so we had it when it was still very warm. The sauce was all over the pie and was hard to eat with it all over the place. We will never order from there again.

Their pizza is a tasty pie but it is on the expensive side. Pizza is consistent with a great crust every time. I ve tried the meat pizza, The Don, and London bridge (I think is what it s called). I wish pizzas had more toppings so I add them. It is a great pizza. At a $40 price point, I continue to search for the best pizza.

Tried this new Old Brooklyn style Pizzaria tonight and they did not disappoint. From the vintage late 1930s to 1940s style decore with big band and Jazz music playing the whole time to their super friendly and inviting staff, full service bar and amazing coal fired pizza oven. This place is doing it all right. Located at The Realm right across Sam Rayburn tollway from The Colony, this place is a must try! Im calling it the best sit down and eat Pizzaria in the area! They have a delicious and amazing selection of items on their menu and also you can build your own from a huge selection of fresh toppings. You can sit back in your booth and literally just imagine yourself looking out across the bay at New York City in the pre WW2 era. Syd, was our server and she was very sweet and efficient. Our drinks arrived very quickly our glasses never ran empty. She was professional and attentive to our needs without hovering. We Sampled the Mediterranean Salad for our appetizer the (small is large enough for 2 or even 3 people.) Next we ordered The Don Pizza with Katamala Olives added and finished with the desert trio sampler. Everything was perfectly cooked and mouth watering delicious! Thank you Grimaldis for a wonderful evening we will certainly be back. You are now our #1 Pizza haunt for our hometown area. Kudos!

Take out was simple. I got the 18 traditional with pepperoni, 16 quattro fromaggi, 18 meatball calzone. Everything was great amd the pies looked good. One concern, the crust is thinner than most Grimaldis, specifically Watters Creek, Irving and Dallas locations. Or it might have been the heavy saucing that made it a bit soggy... like a saggy tip on a neopolotin pizza. Overall happy they have a Grimaldis near us in the Colony/Castle Hills area. The parking was adequate and the service was accomodating.

I went to this location last week and had a decent experience. Michael was the manager. I ordered to go and they forgot one of my pizzas. The cashier/waitress didnt hesitate to get the manager as soon as she identified the problem. The manager quickly had my pizza made within 10 minutes and gave me a break on the price. I appreciate the quick fix and great customer service. Im glad I can get quality pizza with great service.

First the good parts. The atmosphere was great. I had just gotten back from a tour of pizza in Brooklyn and I felt at home. Now the bad. Pizza wasnt great. Im picky for pizza and the sauce was better than most and the cheese was very good. But the crust was way too thin and the spread of sauce and cheese was miserable. My plain cheese pizza hot sauce clots and not spread out. Im sure thats their signature, but not very NYC pizza, perhaps just a grimaldi thing. I spread out the pizza sauce and added more fresh low moisture mozzarella to the take home pie and it was much better. If they offer a REAL NYC pizza one day with actual cheese amounts and sauce that look like the picture below, Ill be back.

The staff is not the issue. Whether this is corporate or a franchise store, the issue is corporate. My wife and I got a 12inch specialty pizza. All the specialty pizzas are $24. Pricey, but okay fine. We wanted half the Don and half another pizza. While the waiter did inform me that, they have to charge for the extra toppings on the pizza. Keep in mind each specialty pizza is $24 so each topping are priced into the $24. So in theory, it wouldnt matter which specialty pizza it is they are all priced out at $24. Now I even understand a convenience fee of lets say $2. However that 12 inch pizza was now 36 dollars. That is insane. Especially considering you use the aloha pos and have a function called pizza builder that allows the staff to easily customize or split pizza for the cooks convenience. Now heres the kicker, you get you products from one of 3 distributors in dfw for food. To charge someone an extra 12 dollars for prosciutto and arugula. Is insane. You have priced yourself out of the market at that point. We wont be coming back because of the price. Perrys and heritage pizza are much better options. If corporate is reading this, this is on you guys for not costing your pizza towards your market. No one wants a 40 dollar 12inch pizza. Operations needs an overhaul for sure.

We waited close to 20 minutes to get just water. That was enough of an indicator for us to know how the rest of the service would go so we got up and left. Sad because I actually do like Grimaldis and had high hopes for this one. If you dont have the right amount of staff to take care of your customers, then dont sit more customer than you can handle.

Placed an order for a giant slice of pizza on a Monday at 2:30 and it took an expected fifteen minutes. Pizza was pretty tasty although my preference leans towards heavier on either the cheese or sauce. If I had to describe the crust I would liken it to a thicker thin and crispy or a crispy traditional hand-tossed pizza. Giant pizza slice cost $4 with up to three toppings.

Was excited to try this pizza place out because of raves from a friend. I ordered a custom small pizza with 3 toppings and an Italian soda. I was very shocked it cost over 40 dollars without tip included. The pizza was good, but not amazing to me. The waitress also asked me if I wanted a refill but didnt mention it was an extra charge. Felt sneaky. Overall, the cost of food for the amount felt ridiculously high.

Pizza is good, but (as others have pointed out), the service is pretty terrible. I ordered a pizza at 5:45, to be ready at 7:45 (i.e. 2 hours in advance). When I arrived to pick it up, I was blithely told that it would be an additional 10 minutes. 10 minutes later, I was told it would be a few more minutes. I finally got it about 15 minutes after the promised time.

Going in, I wanted to love this place. Too bad it wasnt very good. Ordered garden salad, which was mostly lettuce with barely any toppings. At $14 kind I find ridiculous. That theme continued with the Margerhita pizza. The basil was not on each slice and what few pieces of found was either old or cooked, wasnt sure if we should eat it. Ordered roasted red peppers and sausage and again barely any on the pizza. There were flies everywhere. It was like eating at an outdoor picnic, but we were inside. I feel Shame for deciding to waste a meal and time at this place. Live and learn.

Slow service, rude workers. We tried this location twice for pickup and both times were told an hour wait for a single cheese pizza. The restaurant wasn t crowded either time. Second time we called before driving up there and after an hour the pizza is still not ready and the girl on the phone said she thinks it s in the oven and if we come in 15-20 minutes it ll be ready. Don t order for pickup from here- it doesn t seem they are able to handle it.
