Great drinks and the tacos are good. I am not too satisfied with the pricing of a few items...a large fry is $12 and they changed the box size to a smaller box but upped the cost. I also paid $12 for a kids tender w/fries but the menu says $7. I asked how my cost increased to $12 she said because I got fries. So for a kids meal theres an additional $5 charge. I should have just gotten a regular adult size meal. and on top of that the amount of fries and tender was not worth $12. Not satisfied about this. But I will return for drinks because its close to my house. Very unfortunate to post about this.

The food is delicious but the service is horrendous. Also, clean the place a little. Tables were sticky. Menu s are foul. And the flies, my goodness. Kept swatting flies as I ate. The tall African America lady was a great server but the other young ladies you have working there have attitudes and are very unwelcoming.

Cool little local spot with lots of entertainment. The food and drinks were a little under subpar. Family of 4 ordered the wings, chicken street tacos, and kids chicken strips as the flavor lacked a little for the tacos, and chicken strips breading was a little off. The wings however were the main attraction. Didnt realize it but, we came on bingo night as it pretty was lively. We personally don t reco tagging the kiddos along (pretty loud) but overall fun atmosphere for the neighborhood to have.

Tacos were good. Our server struggled to come to our table quicker. We waited a bit longer than normal to place our order and receive our bill. Actually another server had to help out. Not a huge fan of the bar taking up a lot of the restaurant. It also looked like a lot of over drinking was allowed. Not a very family friendly place. Vegetarian options: Veggie tacos

I was determined to visit this place on my recent trip based on all the gluten-free reviews, but was surprised to see regular beers on their menu. This prompted me to ask about their gluten-free protocols and I was told the kitchen is a dedicated gluten-free kitchen, but the bar is not. I did make a reservation ahead of time, but when I arrived on a Friday evening it was not super crowded, there were still a few tables open. My server, Hunter, was super nice and even encouraged me to try some new things. Im not a fan of anything spicy and Hunter recommended I try the jalapeño ranch as it wasnt spicy. If you dont like spicy or jalapeño flavors then I dont recommend the jalapeño ranch. I did order a side of sour cream and it came in these really cute packets. I didnt need the sour cream as their Mexican slaw was delicious and improved upon the yummy tacos. I ordered the fish taco and shrimp taco, both were good, but needed the help from the Mexican Slaw to make them tasty. I decided to try the churro chips for dessert instead of ordering any more tacos, and it was good but very messy. The place has a chill vibe and even has areas for dogs. I would go back next time Im in town. Dietary restrictions: Dedicated gluten-free kitchen, lots of gluten free options Parking: There were a few spots near the restaurant when I arrived, but when it s busy I assume it might be a bit of a walk in the parking lot to find an open spot.

No free chips? Ive been trained from an early age that its expected to get chips and salsa for free at Mexican restaurants. That was a major bummer. Moving onto my meal, the fish and shrimp taco flavors were good. The slaw was great and the jalapeño ranch and Verde salsa were flavorful additions. That being said, I would have liked to have a fresh homemade shell with it. I had the feeling the shells were mass produced. I could be wrong though... The kids meals were way overpriced. $7.80 for 3 pieces of chicken, which they called chicken fingers. I was expecting full size tenders, but they were 1/2 strips of chicken about 3 long. Hardly a meal. Oh and fries with the kids 3 chicken pieces are an up-charge. The kids quesadilla was also underwhelming and had little value. It amounted to one half of a 4 quesadilla with cheese and chicken (additional charge for meat). Atmosphere was nice. Outdoor patios were accommodating with misters and fans. Indoors had fun decor and was fairly clean. Overall it was decent, but not anything I would rave about. I can see it being a popular spot on game day, as most patrons were sitting at or around the bar.

Let s start on a high, my taco was delicious nice & flaky great with the slaw. The slaw is the star of this place. The chips were nice and crispy, can t go wrong with queso. I would add cilantro and garlic to the guacamole and a splash of lime. I tried to ask the servers name 2x but I didn t get it. She didn t introduce her self or give us options for our sides lol. We ended up sending back 75% of the food. The chicken tostada was 1/5 the chicken was cold and lacked any flavor. A squeeze of lime would have brought it to life along with a pinch of seasoning. That Taco cheeseburger didn t do it for me. But maybe y all will like it. The manager took off the food we did eat. Which she definitely didn t have to do. I think this place didn t match my taste buds. I was expecting more Latin American flavors because that s what showed up in the search engine.

It has come to my Attention that the bar Tenders at this location have been slandering me and telling people I was kicked out of this establishments. I want to make things 100 % clear. I was in this location after work requesting Drake songs. The owner was drinking and kept skipping my music and celebrating his accomplishment with his friends. Then he came up to me and put his arm around me and told me I did not understand how things work. We do country hear until late. I did not say anything to him. I asked for my bill paid it and told him to !@!# off and left. I did spend the rest of my credits on rap songs on my way home. Shouldnt have but yes, I was upset and what else was I going to do with the credit on his juke box I paid for. Now i want to make this clear. If i hear one more person tell me the bar tender told them I was kicked out I will file a civil suit for slander.

EDIT 2: Two years later and I m trying again. Still disappointed with slow service and ridiculous prices. Their kids tenders came with 3 for $7.80 and apparently didn t include fries that I was charged another $3.50 for and another $3.00 for a kids drink. My vegetarian tacos made with rice were $5.04 and the same price as the shrimp tacos. Overall I paid more for the kids meal than any other person. I have tried several times and just can t. EDIT: I havent reviewed for 2 years so heres an edit as I tried to give it a go again. The vegetarian tacos are now awful. They changed what they put in them, no avocado like before and it has like streamed veggies or something now. There were carrots in it, barely filled. Wish they would come through but keep getting disappointed. I have to start by saying that I really do like this place. However, as time goes on they are really slacking. I have dined in a handful of times and typically order pick up/to go. The crispy shells are stale occasionally and as time has gone on they will always forget the lime, last time forgot my avocados and barely filled the tacos and tonight was the last straw. Barely full and the majority if the topping just thrown in to the side. I added a side not to please make sure lime was added and they only added it to mine and tacos were all broken. Also ordered chips and queso and it was incredibly thick, even after trying to heat it and wasnt as good. I want to believe they will get it together but I am losing faith as tune goes on. Vegetarian options: Don t recommend. Not even an option on the menu and it s a rice taco

Guaco Taco is hands down the best restaurant weve been to. We have been coming here since we discovered it in 2018. My wife has celiac disease and I am gluten intolerant, and neither of us have ever had an issue after eating at Guaco Taco. The food is priced fairly, especially for the quality you get. The flavor of the Cauli-Quesadillas are the best. The service is always pleasant. Mikaela took exceptionally good care of us. My wife and I eat the exact same thing every time we come in. We each get a beef Cauli-Quesadilla, an extra green sauce, and a water with no ice, lemon, or straw. This time while we were there at 1:30pm, on Friday 01/12/2024 (after receiving gift cards to Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse, which we sold, so we could come to Guaco Taco). We were having a relaxing time, when all of sudden the music was turned up to where we were having to practically yell to understand each other (we were sitting under the speaker). My wife asked the hostess/server if we could get it turned back down (she had to take care of all of her tables as well). After a few minutes, Mikaela came back to check on us and we told her the situation. She immediately left, 30 seconds later it was back to where it was previously. Weve never had a bad experience with either the food or service. Needless to say, but Ill say it anyways, we will be back. Dont miss out on Guaco Taco. Those of us fortunate/lucky enough to experience Guaco Taco will be forever be sad if we out live Guaco Taco. Viva Guaco Taco! Thank you for your time, Ray D. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, never had a reaction from eating at Guaco Taco. Parking: Weve never had a problem finding parking. Whether we are having lunch or dinner, we always find parking without having to drive around or park super far away. Even if you had to park super far away, Guaco Taco is beyond worth it.

I used to eat here a lot because it is a gluten-free restaurant. Lately, it seems like the food isnt as good as it used to be. The last few times the cauliflower chips started to seem tough to the point it was difficult to eat. The chips are normal light but they have been greasy. The fish tacos have been my favorite because the shells are typically light and crispy, not greasy at all. Always seasoned well. Unfortunately, the last two times it was greasy and chewy. Hopefully, it is just a fluke. Will try again and see but normal this is a great place to eat. Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free

We waited and waited and waited. Had a couple servers walk past us, but nobody acknowledged us. It wasn t too busy, but still other tables had people. We waited another few minutes before we decided to leave as a server started cleaning up the table next to us, but still no acknowledgment of us being there. It worked out, though-we went to Brooklyn Heights pizzeria across the street with a warm welcome. I think we had our food quicker there than the entire time we waited at Guaco. Hopefully you don t have the same experience we did at Guaco.

This place was a surprise. My fiancé has Celiac so truly gluten free is always appreciated. And although that availability I m itself used worth a high rating, food that tastes like it is gluten free like it s ten years ago isn t great. GUACOS IS EXCELLENT! Gluten free or otherwise. Take advantage of the gluten free fried options as those are the hardest to come by out in the wild. Our fried shrimp contained great shrimp AND great breading. So in combination it was amazing. Also, they use the best (and homemade) tortilla chips. Thick yellow corn that won t break when dipping. The chips and dip sampler (green salsa, red salsa, jalapeño ranch, and Hawaiian) was good, especially if you add a little Hawaiian to a good amount of the green or red salsas. I m terms of straight Mexican food it is good. We are spoiled with Mexican so my judgment tends to be too critical. I think the opportunity is in the bar style foods here. Enjoy! Dietary restrictions: The entirety of the kitchen is gluten free. No cross contamination is possible.

Its very obvious she knows and cares about the organization a great deal. Will be returning at least once a week . Kuddos to excellent mixed drinks, friendly atmosphere and an extremely clean facility. 100% customer satisfaction.

Went in three front desk chatting and counting receipts. Didnt acknowledge. Finally sat down half empty restaurant. Waiter never showed. Front desk got drinks for us. The glasses are all cloudy and have finger prints. Machine or dishwasher is lacking sanitation. Curious about the inspection. Everyone there seems to be a high schooler or there to just work hesitantly. As we left, the server came up. Yeah no Im not coming back.

I really want to like this place .however, the regulars have taken over. Just left after being on the list for 20 minutes, a table was open but regulars went straight to the table and asked waitress if they could sit there. We told the waitress and hostess that we were there first and they know, but told us the table had been taken. Not ok, on our way to another restaurant.

The nachos are a large plate, so I get the small order. Plenty for me! The service is wonderful! They were very busy, but our order was out quickly! Food

Super friendly place! I just popped in after signing up my grandson for the junior golf summer program at Crystal Falls Golf Course down the street. Super easy to find location on the corner of Lakeline and Crystal Falls Parkway. I had two fish tacos because my new friend at the bar, Bob recommended them. Wow! Flounder fish tacos were perfectly and lightly fried- NOT greasy fish and chips style. The crispy taco shells are better than the typical crispy taco shells. They reminder my of Los Pericos. They have three sauces. I loved the creamy jalapeno. I topped it off with an Arnold Palmer.

The restaurant had a good amount of people hanging out on the patio. I thought I d have to wait for a table. As soon as I walked in, I was seated at a table. Since it was my first time there, the server explained the menu. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and you could tell they enjoy their job. I could eat anything there since it s all gluten free! The food came out quick and hot. I was full with half a quesadilla. It was stuffed with ingredients.

Guaco Taco is just around the corner, so we gave it a try on a Friday evening, with delivery via GH. As general observations, I would say the food was very disappointing. The red salsa was fresh and good, but thats about it. Its way too expensive for the amount and quality of food provided. We ordered 5 different tacos, a sampling from across the menu. First issue, all the tacos were smashed into a single to go container. The food bill was over $50, youd think a second to go container would have been in order. We asked for extra sauces on the side, we got 1 sauce per taco. Again, given the cost of the order, whats a few more ounces of sauce? Quality of the tacos was just OK, weve had much better many other places. Its not real easy to tell from the picture below, but the special bean dip was to be adorned with a generous portion of chopped bacon and jalapenos. Served with parmesan chips. The dip had perhaps 1/3 of a piece of bacon and 2 sliced jalapenos, in other words, not generous. The bean dip itself was nothing special, just cooked pinto beans. And, were not sure what the parmesan chips are supposed to be, the chips we got were the same chips served with the salsa. Those chips, not fresh, obviously bought from a food distributor or a grocery store. All in all, a huge disappointment, especially since the place is so close to home. No need to try it again! Stopped by Guaco Taco for lunch with a colleague a few weeks ago. We shared a basket of chips and the trio of sauces, all of which were unique and especially good. We also shared an order of guacamole, which was also on point. For my entrée I dined on several fish tacos, which were great. The fish was lightly fried, with a light, almost non-existent, cornmeal batter. Outstanding! My colleague had a quesadilla, all beef (beef, not ground beef), and said it was delicious! After a shaky start on a home-delivered dinner, I am now a huge fan of Guaco Taco. It consistently delivers high quality, great tasting fare, modest prices, and always great service. Do your taste buds a favor, get you some of that! We stopped by a Guaco Taco on a recent Sunday afternoon. The place wasn t that crowded, so we were seated immediately. We started with the chips and salsa sampler, the green and red sauce is where our favorites. The ranch dip was just that, ranch dip. LOL There was a sweeter, habanero salsa, that wasn t very appealing on chips, but was a killer combo with the fish tacos. We both ordered a couple of tacos for lunch, we both had the grilled shrimp, one had the certified Angus beef taco, and a fish taco rounded out the four. All of the tacos were delicious, prepared fresh, super fresh ingredients, everything on point. That said, I would give a special hat tipped to the certified Angus beef taco, that was fantastic, with a bit of both the red and green salsas on top. A jumbo margarita hit the spot in the libations category, huge, delicious, and not too sweet. Jules was our waitress, she did a super job, attentive but not intrusive. She brought out a few extra cups of salsa to let us try combo sauces on our tacos. Reasonably priced too, our meal was less than $35. We ll definitely stop by again Vegetarian options: Yes Dietary restrictions: They Can Accommodate Parking: Plenty Kid-friendliness: Yes Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

Dare I say Taco Bell makes a better ground beef taco? Beans were good but a tad bit too much salt. Their hottest sauce I m told is the pineapple habañero. I m a wuss when it comes to heat and it tasted more like a pineapple jelly. I d maybe come back to try their nachos but the tortillas are more like plain Doritos.

Our experience here was absolutely awful! I don t even know where to begin. We stopped in for lunch around 1pm on a Saturday, my husband, myself, and our two kids. First off, it looked like it was being run by a room full of teenagers who were all just standing around and talking, then our server took forever to greet us and get us menus, and lastly our order was wrong and disgusting. My husband ordered three tacos and they all looked and tasted like garbage! I ordered a chicken taco salad, which is pretty basic, and it had a huge pile of old dark meat chicken on it. Our kids meals included two tiny cheese quesadilla triangles, 2 pieces of orange, and a few chips for over $5. Oh and on top of it loud rap music was blasting the entire time so you could barely talk to the person next to you. We would go to Taco Bell over this place again! Stay away if you expect good food and a decent atmosphere!

Picked up four of the five layer tacos for lunch that sounded great on paper. Got home to eat and there was no queso and what looked like half a spoonful of guacamole instead of the two scoops it says you get. Not giving it one star only because the food wasnt that bad once I put my own cheese on it. However for $5.40 per taco it was not worth it.

Guaco Tacos board of fare is nothing short of deliciously tantalizing. Plump shrimp and fresh vegetables stuffed into a savory Bloody Mary is a sinfully nutritious opener. I ordered the resolution-shattering Grande Quesadilla with Carnitas. As a son of the Sun City (El Paso,) my discriminating palate was inestimably pleased with the flavorful fulmination that this entree delivered. My companion was also beyond satisfied with her original Guaco Taco and Shrimp Taco. On top of the exceptional flavor, the order came out expediently and accurately. Our server Beth provided an above-and-beyond yeomans work delivering tasty selections of both food and drink. Her courtesy and professionalism compel this eminently satisfied customer and a new customer. We will tell our friends and they will tell theirs.

Everything was ice cold like it had been refrigerated before picked up and delivered barely 2 miles away. Not even luke warm, but straight up tasted like it was just taken from the refrigerator and sold. Quesadilla somehow smaller and more expensive than the taco I ordered. Even Taco Bell is way better than this place. In their defense, the taco shell was good and so was the jalapeno ranch, but otherwise go somewhere else.

We also tried the Chips and Sauce Sampler. The chips were great and all of the sauces were good. They have some unique sauces for the area (Hawaiian and Jalapeno Pepper Ranch). The Hawaiian Sauce is very sweet but after a couple of bits you start to feel a bit of heat. The Hawaiian ends up being the hottest sauce of the four.
