We have not ate here in years. Only because of our diet. Haha. We wanted to eat pizza and not a delivery kind. So here we are at Russia pizza. Service was top-notch. Very clean and the pizza was excellent! Really good to have a place that you can sit and enjoy a pizza like the old days when you had your pizzerias. Thank yall!

The pizza & their bread & dipping oil was delicious. We each had the giant pizza slice where you can add toppings. The pizza is already precooked & your selected topping(s) is put on the slice & put in the pizza oven. Your beverages of soda drinks & tea are included in the meal price which was very reasonable! It was really good & next time we eat here, I want to order a fresh pizza and/or one of their Italian dinners!

I had the chance to eat both during lunch and another time at dinner and both managers, Nick and Sunshine, are very attentive and respondent to my specific requests and always have fantastic recommendations. Even after taking my order, one of their servers made my pizza exactly how I wanted it! The food is amazing and their wings are SO GOOD! The only downside is no beer or wine, but at least theyre BYOB. Theyve got a forever customer! Vegetarian options: Build your own pizza, with 2 dedicated vegetarian pizzas. Dietary restrictions: They have vegan, gluten free, and halal options!

My wife and I visit frequently and this particular night something just seemed off. We ordered our food which consisted of two slices of pizza and a side Caesar salad at 8pm. Was also told it would be about 15 minutes. On my way to pick up our order, I got a call from work and ultimately, I had to make a stop their first, circle back and pick up our food. I didnt mind coming a little late for the food, I was in no rush. As I arrived at the restaurant (8:45), I walked to the To-Go register payed, and was told the order wasnt quite ready. I was a little confused due to it already being 30 minutes past the promised time. I assumed either the pizza got messed up somehow and they had to remake it or a few more reasons just to give the benefit of the doubt. This night was not as busy as I have seen it, obviously one of the slower nights. I gave up making excuses when I sat down near the bar area waiting for my order for an additional 15 minutes. The 15 minutes was spent being walked passed by several employees not saying a word including the individual who processed my payment. There was a short period where everyone did absolutely nothing for a few minutes. the individual who rang me out at the register was even able to plug their phone up, check a few notifications, and even after making eye contact with me while sitting at the bar, turned around and walked away. A few minutes later as a gentleman was on his way back from helping a table, I asked about my order. The employees both looked confused and investigated a box that had been sitting on top of the oven since before my arrival. They talked amongst themselves for a few brief words before asking me if I want any Parmesan or Pepper... No apology for the wait, no admitting their mistake or simply taking responsibility for the error in communication between front of house and kitchen, just ignored and pushed to the side like I didnt just wait 45 minutes for $30 worth of two slices of pizza that were so dried up from sitting on top of the oven it was like trying to chew a car tire and a small salad that was DRENCHED in dressing. Literally swimming. Extremely disappointed on the consistency this time around. We are usually extremely satisfied when we get dinner from here, but this definitely missed the mark. It was obvious there was no manager on duty, and Ive been in the restaurant industry for several years as a GM and wouldnt let a customer walk out that had waited an excessive amount of time for an order without at least expressing a genuine apology and all my employees knows this as well, its simple restaurant etiquette. You screw up, you make it right, simple as that.

We went looking for a restaurant in the evening to celebrate my hubbys birthday the day Beryl came to town. This place was open. Weve been here before and like their food so that worked out well. The only hiccup was they didnt have ice but understandable. Shortly after we ordered there was a line out the door. The food came fairly quickly and all good. Thanks Russo!

I have purchased pizza from this location since it first opened. I recently went to Russos for a pizza. The AC was broken. They had a back up cooling system, the cooling system was broken, They knew it was broken and what needed to be fixed, but they told me they elected not to fix it. I ordered a take out pizza and a cannoli. I received the pizza but not the cannoli. I complained and they gave me the cannoli. Upon arriving home, my wife and I found the pizza to be substandard. The dough was very soggy and not done. The edges of the crust were dark brown/semi-burnt, but edible. My guess is that there has been a recent change of management. Russos use to be much better than this.

Coworker and I have been going there for lunch for quite some time. Since new ownership the service has been terrible, today we were RUSHED by a our waiter when we were ordering, the specials have changed and prices gone way up, I ordered a slice of pizza and a salad, water to drink for lunch it was $19 and some change. The pizza dough was not cooked all the way through, I sent it back and asked them to cook it longer and please box up for me so I could get back to work. Once I decided to eat it later in the afternoon the dough was STILL not cooked all the way through. Not pleased with the service at all, huge hole in the seat of our booth. This used to be my kids and I Tuesday evening ritual for the special, but its no longer there either. Already decided when I want thoroughly cooked pizza dough, good service, and better prices we will go to Crust.

Came here before reading the reviews and yea the negative reviews are true as I came in for a slice and tried to looked at menu but was rushed by probably the manger. The pizza dough and crust could use more improvements on flavor and texture as it was bland, Especially since each slice with 1 topping is $10 basically, Like Venue/mall price pizza. I do hope this place improves within 6 months and tries their best to go back to their roots before the new ownership with good customer service and pricing.

Stopped here for lunch and we enjoyed it very much. I got the slice and salad and my wife got the slice. Now when I say slice they boast 14. There was more than enough food served hot and fast. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. They served bread with olive dipping sauce. We will return! Well done to the entire staff.

I noticed they offered a coupon for a 16in double pepperoni pizza for $10.95. I ordered the pizza thinking it was a great deal . The pizza is horrible compared to local places(Bada Bing near HEB, Grimaldi s just a bit up the road). I cannot imagine anyone paying more than $10.00 for the pizza I received. Save your money and go to an actual pizza joint like Bada Bing or Grimaldi s, this place should remove pizzeria from its name.

The BEST service I ve ever experienced! The entire staff was attentive to customers and making sure everything was neat and clean. They were friendly and made us feel welcomed the exact moment we came in. We had a 16 pizza and garlic knots that were incredible. Great food and atmosphere. My wife is a celiac and loves their gluten-free pizza. Although, be careful with their gluten-free pasta as it is cooked in the regular gluten pasta water contaminating it with gluten. I give them credit gor trying, but a swing and a miss on that one. Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options for gluten sensitive. If you are celiac, as my wife is, the cauliflower crust pizza has been safe, but the gluten-free pasta is cooked in the regular gluten pasta water contaminating it with gluten. The service was great!!! The food was very good. We ordered the breaded cauliflower (very good, very crisp. It was also on the half price appetizer special) we also ordered the garlic knots, very good with lots of garlic!! Here on vacation and the Little One wanted lasagna. I didnt want to go to a chain restaurant that we have back home. I did a quick Google search and this restaurant popped up and had fairly good reviews. Our first choice was already closed for the night. We ordered fried calamari, side Ceasar salad, lasagna, and shrimp scampi. The ceasar dressing had way too much olive oil and there was so much dressing the lettuce was wilted. The calamari was very bland and a little rubbery but the sauce helped add flavor. It was still missing something, though. The lasagna was okay. The lasagna noodles was overcooked and the meat had an odd flavor like the seasoned beef you put on pizza or in a meatball. Wasnt terrible just not what we were expecting.The Little One ate the lasagna and her only comment was Its different. The shrimp scampi was not good at all. The pasta was over cooked and was in some type of broth (assuming the lemon garlic white wine sauce) that was very bland. The sun dried tomatoes and capers did nothing for this dish. When I think italian I think strong robust flavors and the scampi did not have that. I left most of the scampi on my plate. Portions were big but I was disappointed at spending as much money as I did for the little that I ate.

My first experience with Russos New York Pizzeria and Italian Kitchen (1660 Fm 646 League City, Tx). The food was...Hot, Delicious and received it very fast, with no long wait time! The Garlic Parmesan wings (delicious); their Pizza (delicious), and salad(Cesar) was a little oily for me, but good. Next time will request no oil on my salad. I used to eat at the restaurant in League City all the time. They cannot get your order right. If you tell them how to fix your order and they do it wrong who s fault is that. This is a good place for quick Italian food. They have pizza by the slice, several pasta dish choices, and a decent wine selection. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, even when it is very busy. Dietary restrictions: My friend asked for gluten-free chicken and pasta. This is one of our favorite places to just go when we dont feel like cooking, when we want to just sit and have a few beers and appetizer, or gather with friends for a full Italian dinner or pizza. This place caught my eye because its around where my girls place is. Been wanting to try it. Its alright, but there were a few experiences that made me rate this restaurant 2 stars instead of a higher rating. First off, its lunchtime, and the ice machine was hardy producing any ice at all. Second, Im not too fond of de-tailing my own shrimp when its been sautéed w/ pasta. I had to dig them all out from the sauce & pasta and remove the tails. Third, they messed up on my girls pizza order. They placed anchovies instead of artichokes on it. This place is alright, but Im not dying to come back. Glad I got it out of my system.

Our pizza was delicious. My son had the chicken parm sandwich and it was huge. He said it was delicious as well. Everyone was friendly and the service was good. The calamari was pretty rubbery but besides that we were pleased and will be back.

We stopped in for their dessert counter with the great service we received from this location it really sucks to leave a review about the old and dried up shoes we bought for cake that we were sold in our to go order. Once we got home we discovered that we bought old dried up hard cake it is sad when you pay good money and get home ready to relax and enjoy your dessert and get an old crusty shoe Their desserts are not cheap in price either...

Gluten free penne pasta dish is wonderful and extremely cost effective if you have it while their lunch menu is still in effect. Vegetarian options: They will omit the cheese or any other thing you may be allergic to and add more of something already in the dish.

Enjoyed a nice dinner with some family members at Russos Pizzeria. Less crowded than normal, made for a quick in and out experience. The calzone was bomb and the pizza is always delicious as well. No complaints on the other side of the table regarding the cheese ravioli. All in all, choose Russos

Do NOT order the Giant Slice. Strike #1 - they have 2 GIANT plain cheese pizzas on display at the front counter in front of the kitchen. This gave me the impression that my slice would be cut from there, but NO they pulled my slice out of a REFRIGERATOR out of a refrigerator.... REALLY? Strike #2 - I ordered a giant slice with fresh jalapenos, pepperoni, prosciutto, and fresh basil. I get my slice only to find it covered in some other kind of peppers (NOT JALAPENOS), and they arent even fresh, theyre PICKLED. Come to find out they dont have any fresh jalapenos, even though they say fresh jalapenos on the menu). If that wasnt annoying enough, there was no basil on my pizza at all, and the prosciutto wasnt good at all. I ended up taking it off entirely. Strike #3 - Heres the kicker... My slice was still COLD... the cheese wasnt even full melted, it still has that translucent cold tired look to it. Needless to say I wont be going back. Now, if they make your pizza fresh, it might be worth it, but you guys can do better that pulling your pre-cooked slices from a refrigerator. Places like this are why I dont tip before I get my food. This was a less than desirable experience.

Not the best pizza I have ever had but overall I think its very good and worth the price. I have been a handful of times and the staff and service are always excellent and everyone is very friendly. The food is served hot, and the place is always clean. Overall worth giving them a visit. I have only had their pizza so cant speak to much else on their menu - but the pizza is pretty good.

Myself and two others decided to go for a early dinner with no crowds it was Cinco de Mayo day. Walked right in they have a wide variety of pizzas and Italian dishes they also have a Buffet now. One of my friends had a pizza with the olive oil and spices and some vegetables. My friend ordered the calzone with three meats I chose the appetizer which was there meatballs. There was enough for all. I always enjoy getting a glass or two of the merlot. Family oriented but also fun and authentic. Their desserts are huge and shareable taste homemade and awesome!!!

Food was okay but won t be coming back after my experience tonight. 8:30 and they close at 10. We were almost gassed out by the smell of chemicals coming from the bathroom. Worker cleaning the bathroom came straight out of the bathroom without washing her hands and then handed us our food that the cook had finished. Not to mention the cook is in plain view behind the counter on his phone. We had our 1 year old with us as well and the chemical smell bothered all of us. Workers come right next to you and sweep while kicking up dust etc into your food. They were playing obscene music. This is a Italian place not a club. Cussing left and right is not good music to play in a professional environment. Food had no flavor and my wife was extremely disappointed. We only go out once a week and sad we wasted our outing here.

It started when we walked through the door. I asked for a table for 12. The waiter looked at me and said, people usually call ahead for larger tables, and just stares at me like I m supposed to leave and call ahead. My son asked for gnocci with butter, garlic and Parmesan. One cup of gnocci, about 1/4 cup of olive oil and two cloves of garlic. I ordered the carbonara. The pasta was good, but it was drowning in a béchamel/alfredo sauce and about a cup of pancetta, making it super salty. When I told the waiter I didn t like it, he said, I hate that one too. I wish they would just take it off the menu. Then, he walks away. Nice to know AFTER I spent $17 for it. New owners?! Inexperienced staff, for sure! We used to love this place, and typically try a restaurant once more in case it was just a bad night. Not this time! 4 families not going back, for sure.

A couple years ago, I read reviews that had this places pizza rated .1 below Grimaldis, and Ive been dying to try it since. Tonight I wonder what those reviewers were thinking. Were they college kids? Were they drunk? We got a pepperoni pizza, spaghetti with meatballs, cheese sticks, and Buffalo wings. The cheese sticks were underdone, with marinara too chunky to dip them in, and keep any on them. The pizza had WAY too much cheese, was floppy, and had such little sauce it couldnt be seen or tasted. Had to pour a solid cup of water out of the spaghetti, and the meatballs were complete, tasteless mush, and. watery. Had the mouth feel of a ball of breadcrumbs soaked in water. The wings were the best thing we had. They were 5/10. We wont be back. Just go to Grimaldis. Youll be WAY better off. I had such high hopes... Edit: Make sure youre aware you have to order at the counter and our prepay. They WILL let you sit at the table for 30 minutes and never address you, even if there are only 2 other tables seated.

Decided to try this spot out based on reviews alone and I was highly disappointed. This has to be the worst pizza I ve ever tasted. The whole pizza was bland just plain flavorless, the marinara sauce lacked seasoning, the pizza lacked cheese itself, the basil tasted as it was soaked in water. Only nice thing I have to say about this place is that the service was actually pretty good, staff was friendly and informative but unfortunately I will not try again nor do I recommend.
