I have never felt so welcome to any place as I felt here. First time going to this bar for karaoke. We fell in love. I was celebrating my bday and I was treated like a queen. I felt like I knew everyone. The karaoke Guy was amazing. Great place, great drinks! Amazing, inviting environment, great food and drinks. Im definitely going back! 10 STARS

I have been waiting for the Fries to be ready and they are taking to long!! Is there no one working in the kitchen, y all are slacking off!! Y all should just go out of business, when I was there last time the server Lexi was like all rude and stuff. I don t wanna say anymore but y all do need to move out of Katy Texas. To y all y all are suckers and all the cuss words I can think of.

Love this place. The bar staff are hilarious, and there is a solid group of regulars to get to know. The people are what has kept me coming back, but I tried the food for the first time last week and it was delicious. Highly recommend bingo on Tuesdays, it s a good time. LEAVE BIG TIPS! Kid-friendliness: I see families coming in for dinner, especially during big games.

I wanted a martini. I was told it was a sports bar..they dont do Martinis. The lovely waitress made me rum with sprite? Weak and just ok. Vegetarian options: Not alot of healthy choices..

This is your very basic, no frills, corner sports bar. It has a decent draft beer selection and plenty of t.v s, but theres not much more to day about the place.. The menu is very basic bar fare.

Had a double crown and coke and order of fries and my bill was 20$. When I first had my card swiped it said 10$. I got my fries and wasnt even given napkins or ketchup. Wasnt asking for alot but probably wont be back.

Very clean, female friendly sports bar with very good pub/ bar food. Definitely recommend the southwest egg rolls for sure! The bartenders are very friendly and attentive. Again very clean , well lit and clean restrooms. If youre a woman and like sports this place is worth a try. If youre a guy its a great sports bar all the way around without the smoke of other sports bars in the area.

Its no longer the wellhead its Word of Beer and they have amazing wings! I love my wings and this is a top 10 spot for me. The servers, hostess, waiters,cook staff, and managers are all amazing peoples. They have a lot of beers on tap and always a daily special. Looking for a chill relaxing place this is the spot

Three strikes and this place is out for me. First time, we were sitting at a table with friends. Boyfriend was walking to bar to but our drinks. Found out the next day they told our friend we walked out tab and made her pay since we were at her table. How can you walk a tab when you didn t run one? Went next day to talk to manager. He was not helpful at all. Second time back, we waited for 10 minutes and no one came to serve us, so we just left. Then last night, we gave it another try and the bartender spoke extremely rude to me for no reason at all. We will never be back. They need to better with hiring and training bartenders.

Came to watch the Astros lose the final game of the World Series with my dad. They had $2 stadium hot dogs + sweet potato fries w/ different honeys (awesome dip options!) while I had the chicharrones with Cajun spice + onion rings. Good quality bar food. High ceiling bar. I dislike how there is only mechanical dart boards but they are fun to play. The girls/bartenders were nice. I d definitely go back. Less than 2 minutes from home. Like the location as well.

Sports bars rank among my favorite places for food and drink. I love watching my favorite sports teams while I eat food and drink craft beer and I am always game for a new establishment. When I learned that Wellhead Sports Bar opened up, I was more than ready to give it a try since it s a sports bar and less then 2 miles from my house. Walking inside Wellhead Sports Bar reveals a single dining room space with a bar along the back wall. There are tables and chairs for seating plus bar seating. There are lots of televisions tuned to different sports viewing plus a jukebox for music. Based on the appearance, this looks like a cool place to sit back and chill. Where I have issues with Wellhead Sports Bar is with the service and food. When I last visited, there was one person working the tables, and nearly all of them were full. That meant waiting a long time to get served initially and a long time for repeat service. There were far too many customers for one person to handle. But what was less easy to forgive was the lack of care in making the drinks. My wife ordered an old fashioned but was presented with a drink that was something else entirely. The person making the drinks obviously didn t know how they are made, or someone miscommunicated. My wife went ahead and finished the drink, since it still tasted drinkable, but then she ordered a different drink and, again, it wasn t quite right. There were no problems that I could tell with my draft beers. They were poured right and looked nice in the glass. It just took longer to get served than it should have. And the food? Well, I ordered a burger and onion rings and while I loved the onion rings, I wasn t too thrilled with the burger. It was rather ordinary and nothing exciting. It s great to have a new sports bar in the neighborhood. I m not going to write off Wellhead Sports Bar just yet, because I think they were not having the best of days when I was last there. The drinks were the greatest disappointment, but other than that, I found the atmosphere nice and the limited staff was trying as hard as they could. I m going to rate Wellhead Sports Bar average for now and look forward to better visits in the future.
