Loved loved loved this place!!! Ive never had a baked spaghetti before. It was so fresh, homemade sauce, noodles just wow. The server was so sweet to me. Im definitely returning back to try their pizzas.

I often cry at night thinking back on the Angelos that used to be in arlington (pantego) right next to my house. Was my favorite pizza place and still is. Even if I have to make the 30 min drive to Irving its always worth it.

It is a place that I really liked because of its tradition, but there is definitely a need to update the processes, because although the food is good, it could be much better if the place was more clean, updated and careful with the food, for example the Soda cookies that they leave for hors doeuvres while the dish arrives, they are stale, they have obviously been there for a long time, the bathrooms are not very clean, and I think there are many things in the place that require updating. Ive never had a bad time eating there before, but the last time the food hurt me.

I ordered the spaghetti with meatballs. And of course the garlic toast! Its a good amount of food for the price, I have not been able to eat all of my meal. The staff have always been nice. Parking: Its a small restaurant with plenty of parking in the front, side, and back.

Good food and the prices are affordable. I like the Spaghetti Casserole and my partner had Cannelloni. Both were very good. The service was excellent. She made sure our drinks were fresh. Checked on us frequently but not annoyingly so. Really had a good.experience

I used to frequent this place as a child. I havent been in about 10 years, and it hasnt changed. The food tastes exactly the same. The service is the same. It was worth the 45 minute drive for me. Its great to see a small business still successful

Not bad for a mom and pop spot. The dough for the pizza wasnt for me but it may be for someone else. The pasta wasnt bad..def shouldve gotten a little more marinara. The garlic toast is large. Wasnt a fan of the meatballs and felt like it had no seasoning but it was def a large piece of meat.

June 1, 2024 Placed orders in person Chicken parmesan, lasagna, shrimp Alfredo, alfredo pasta, came with garlic toast. None of the dishes had a savory flavor. Bland was the unanimous mention when my family tasted their dishes. I called the following day to mention our disappointment and the lady stated she would relay the feedback. She did mention that the meat sauce is a better choice for future, but I dont plan on it at this point.

I have no idea how this place is still in business. I am not exaggerating when I say this is the worst slop, I mean food, that I ve ever eaten in my entire life. The fettuccine consisted of mushy way over cooked noodles, the sauce literally tasted like vomit. I don t know how else to describe it. I ate one bite and could not eat anymore. I would have just eaten the chicken, but it was CHARRED black. The server was rude, never came to check on us, and my glass stayed empty. Again, I truly have no idea how this place stays open. You couldn t pay me to return.

As soon as you walk in, you smell the old cigarette smell. You could tell this used to be a smoke inside kind of restaurant. It smelled so bad when we walked out we had to change our clothes because we stinked like cigarettes. The building itself was very old and ran down. The pizza tastes like red barren pizza, and the crust is different. The service was the worst! So extremely slow! There was an employee that came in after us to eat there, and the waitress brought out her drinks and food before us. Even though we ordered before her.I thought that was disrespectful. Its like they cared more about their employees instead of costumers.

Local favorite that has been around for 50+ years, and for good reason. The food is very good, the staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is casual and fun. That said, if youre looking for a quiet spot, Angelos is probably not for you. But if you want somewhere to chill with friends or a place to celebrate a life event, then youll be happy. Ive tried several dishes and all were very good...maybe not the best Ive ever had, but satisfying and delicious - well worth the trip.

The shrimp scampi is one of the most tasteless things Ive ever seen. They cooked shrimp, pasta, threw it together and sprinkled some herbs as an afterthought. The pizza was falling off the crust and you could perhaps passionately argue that its mid. But thats it. Not sure why this place has a higher rating. I did notice an older clientele, maybe its a hold over from better times. Never coming back.

This was my second time dining here. I love the atmosphere. It is a local place that has been around since the 60s. It has a great cozy, family, everybody is welcome feel! I decided to get something different this time. I got the spaghetti with sausage in garlic butter sauce. I thought it would be sliced sausage. No such luck. The sausage was ground like you would find on a pizza. It was quite difficult to eat with the garlic butter sauce. I felt like I was fighting my dinner. Trying to combine it to get everything in one bite. I decided I would take it home and doctor it up myself. The pizza is popular. Our table had a pizza so I tried a slice and I m not sure if it was all the different toppings or the pizza crust but it definitely tasted very different then any other pizza I had tried before. Previously, I had the lasagna and it was awesome. I should ve gone that direction again. I m sure I will be back and I think from here on out I will stick with the lasagna. Parking: Front packing lot and an additional area behind the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: Definitely a place for families. They had boosters.

This place has been a family gathering since before I was born and Im almost 50 years old so throughout the changes and location and the passing of the family members its still a place where my family goes even after a funeral thats the first place we meet up because thats usually the place where all of us together the food has went down just a smidge but the atmosphere is still good I wish they still had all the mintz photographs on the wall really meant a lot to many families whove been coming here for generations even since the previous location on story rd many years ago. Best deal around for lunch a small steak baked potato and a side salad or their baked spaghetti .. you cant find better deal.

The service was pleasent, but the wait was so much longer then everyone had expected. The pizza I had somehow tasted like it had shrimp in it, the pizza was absolutely nauseating, it was not appetizing and I couldnt hardly eat it without tasting shrimp. The pasta sauce tasted metallic and artificial, the meat in the pasta sauce was revolting. The garlic bread didnt look or taste like garlic, it somehow was very bland it was truly embarrassing. The only thing I can say that was good was the crackers (that are packaged) on the table and the sweet tea. Please keep those who have food allergies in mind!! I dont know if that taste was cross contamination but a pizza with bacon shouldnt be tasting like shellfish let alone be taste revolting.

Angelos has never let me down in over 30yrs! I love love love. Prices went up a lot, but still worth it! Listen their pizza is the best I ever had! All the big pizza chains do not compare to Angelos! Ingredients are superb! It seems to me, the other pizza chains made prices lower with cheaper and poor quality ingredients, but not Angelos, thank God! I have only tried Lasagna with Texas butter toast bread and pizza and different salads! I appreciate the old building! Dark and sexy vibes inside and I loved the decor! Please dont change a thing! The Angelos spaghetti & Pizza House is a golden 5 stars across the board. I go their almost every week and its the best experience you can have at a restaurant. Out of all the meals Ive had the cooks never let us down. The food is cheaper and doesnt hurt your wallet to go there. The waiters are kind, and have never failed to see us and help us with anything we needed. Angelos mood and feeling is second to none. Its stepping into this place is utter comfort. We have eaten here since they were located back in Plymouth Park Shopping Center in the 60 s. Still one of our favorites. Great Pizza and Pasta. The Golden Baked Lasagna has been a true Classic since I was much younger and used to come here at Lunch when I was working in Irving.

An Irving icon that still delivers. Very good food at very good prices. Served by a good staff. 2023 Update: Lasagna is still the house specialty and still brings in friends from out of town. That says it best right there.

I discovered this restaurant years ago when I worked in Los Colinas. The food was good then and is still good. My favorite is the baked lasagna.
