This location was surprisingly busy for a late Sunday night. There were only two employees working and they crushed it! Tiffany was extremely attentive to multiple tables, despite being the only server and TJ rocked the grill. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious! These two deserve a raise!

First time in Dallas, Texas, first time in this Dennys branch and I got greeted with a pleasant and cheerful welcome from the waiting staff. Very personable and delightful female waiters who seem to go above and beyond for their customers. Particularly Tiffany who made my transaction considerate and thoughtful. Very grateful for you! To her colleague that finished work early, I would also like to commend her for her hospitality and fun nature. It was a pleasant and memorable experience after arriving in the country, from a long haul flight. Thank you!

Arrived here starving and my experience was entirely unexpected and absolutely fantastic (This was my first time ever going to a Dennys. I dont normally even eat out)! Food was EXCELLENT, perfect, and fresh - YUM! (I got a grilled chicken sandwich but special instructions & a chocolate shake). Yet, the best part was the service! Delores made my night <3 Stop by if you get a chance! Dietary restrictions: Easily adapted to my diet, everything came out perfectly as ordered and everything I asked for/needed different was a YES!

One star due to improper hours of operation Flight was massively delayed. So we had to book a hotel for the night, which happens to be by this Denny s. We were very excited because it states it was open so we didn t get any airport food. Additionally our Wyndham Airport shuttle driver stated it is open 24hours and Google maps states 24hrs. We arrive at 12:45-1am. And the building is closed and doors locked. Very disappointed.

I tried the new BLT with bacon jam. I did mot get bacon jam not even mayo. The sandwich is so dry. I should have opened it and checked but with no customers inside the restaurant I thought it would be made correctly. Egg was supposed to be over easy and it is over hard. Dry dry sandwich

Wow! This location has really improved. Ive been here several times over the last 3 years...but today was best. Dennys is back to their roots with the Grand Slam affordably priced. The service at this location has improved by 100%. Atmosphere is totally old school Dennys....I luv it, but it is a bit tired ...decor updates can come later. I ordered scrambled eggs with cheddar Grand Slam..see photo... delicious. I hope this translates to more customers returning, better pay for the staff, and less greed by the corporate stock holder. Work towards a stake-holder model of business (personnel, company, community, and stockholder share in the success) rather than solely focusing on stockholders and you will always be a success! If order on app or online might want to call to make sure they have what you re trying to order. I have yet to be refunded my money for order I placed on the app only to find out the Dennys app uses third party. I placed order and after they took money from my account call me to tell me couldn t fulfill my order due to them not having salmon or broccoli. They told me to call customer service but was the fourth and they were closed as well as Friday and on the weekend . I went up there everyday since only to be told that they already refunded it which obviously hasn t been done yet. Disappointed and angry is an understatement. Havent been in a Dennys in a while. Now I know why. Place was empty. Employees outnumbered patrons by 3:1 ratio. The second thing that struck me were the prices. Seriously?? We are talking eggs and potatoes here. If only the food was as good as I remember or is portrayed in those glossy menu pictures. $3.69 for a CUP of average coffee is obscene: I can buy coffee for less than that and make my own. Insane profit. I guess I am paying for the fancy menu. I had to ask for everything. No salt on the table (?), no flatware to eat with. Had to beg for coffee refills and cream. Food arrived cold. Sat under (obviously not operable) heat lamp forever and still cold. My crepe came from another source and it too, was cold. The crepe part should be a little crisp, but was soggy. Taste was good, but not what I expected for the price. After hunting down anyone to assist me (it was 2:30 pm and everyone was on their break), I asked for my food to be heated up and for some gravy to make it palatable. Get this: they dont have any gravy. So, I inquired what they put on the chicken fried steak, and no one could say. Its on the menu...gravy. Several places. My food did come back hot, but tasted like soap, so I didnt eat much of it. So, for nearly $20, I didnt get what I wanted or anything that I could enjoy. Why doesnt anyone take any pride in what they do nowadays?? Just showing up and taking the money is not enough. Why not try to actually do your job well and delight customers? I miss those days. It seems like every customer experience today is negative. I wish everyone could have the joy we had in past decades; they would be astounded. Just going out for a meal should not be an exercise in futility. It used to be fun and fair. I grew up in the restaurant business and this experience makes me so sad.

The sign on the restaurant says they are open 24 hours and so does Google maps. But when I got there the employees told me the store was closed. They said theyre open 24 hours only some days of the week. Better call before you make the mistake I did and walk all the way there from the hotel for your first meal after traveling all day and finding this supposedly 24-hour restaurants closed. Even if they are going to advertise themselves as 24 hours but close anyway, they should at least update their hours on Google Maps. Of course, there isnt even a sign on the restaurant that says they are closed at certain points.

Were out of most soft drink options, the chocolate milk that was ordered started to separate in the glass within 30 seconds and had an odd taste, the service was near nonexistent and we had to find someone for the ticket, food was SO bad and our entire party left after just a few bites of food. The French fries weren t cooked. When we reported this to the waitress she said there was nothing she could do about it but we should file a complaint online. The establishment wasn t clean at ALL. There were ants on the window sills, beetles, and overall unkept. The front desk cashier was made aware of the raw fries and told us also to do an online complaint. I ate a couple bites of the chicken and was immediately sick when I got back to the hotel. My friend ate his meal minus the raw fries and had stomach issues all night!! Do not go here.

I missed my flight and spending the night near the Dallas airport. This Denny s at 8120 Esther s Blvd. in Irving, TX was near my hotel. Tiffany was an amazing sever! She s very polite friendly and was very apologetic for the cook that failed to complete my order properly. I like my toast made on the grill with lots of butter, but apparently the cook is not allowed to make it that way despite having a grill, bread, & butter. I also like my eggs scrambled soft but not runny & unfortunately they were stiff and slightly scorched because they were way over cooked. Fabulous dinner. We stopped by for dinner after a long day of flying. We all ordered an entree and Freddy the chef - who s been cooking there for a long time - whipped up our dinner in no time at all and it was amazing. The location looked deserted on a Wednesday afternoon. I tried their Mac&Cheese Skillet, which is a first for me. It was tasty but not as good as I was expecting it to be. This place was horribly understaffed, which wasnt a problem when we got there, but quickly became a problem as more and more customers came in and one of the cooks left (after staying past their scheduled shift over an hour) requiring the person who was helping us (who seemed to be in charge and knew what she was doing) to go cook. It took close to an hour to pay to leave (had to go to the front desk and wait 30 minutes standing there with another family waiting to pay) after never getting the grarlic bread that came with my meal after waiting 30 minutes for that. It was about an hour and a half total that no one ever came to our table and we watched a couple with a menu get frustrated with not being helped for quite some time being seated, waving their menu around to get the one servers attention. How does a restaurant avoid this? Stop seating people and tell them theres a wait instead of giving people who just walked in a table while ignoring anyone whos been there for longer than 5 minutes. It doesnt matter how many tables there are open if there isnt enough staff to cook, serve, and cash out existing customers. Im not sure I understand the logic in not telling people that theres a wait when theres already insufficient staff to handle existing tables. Theres even a fairly large waiting area with plenty of both seating and standing room, and it was empty when we left.

It took a very long time for my family of 6 to be served. Our drinks of water and tea were not served for at least 30 minutes. We were provided plastic silverware when the family next to us were given metal silverware. Our children werent provided the kids cups, but the family next to us had the kids drinks.The food was not hot and fresh like Dennys Mesquite locations. I will not return to this location.

Great service! TJ (the dishwasher) really stepped up to help out. Apparently, they were short staffed so TJ jumped right in and took care of things. She also checked on me regularly, refilled my drinks, and offered me some delicious dessert options. She made my experience worth my buck, and I left her a generous tip. Came in for dinner while on a long layover at the airport. Tiffany was our server & she was welcoming, polite, & detail oriented. She regularly checked on us, & when we asked for a to-go box, Tiffany put together a bag with cutlery, syrup, butter, napkins.... Definitely going above & beyond. The food was excellent (most of the time this type of food is good, but not memorable... Not this time.... It was excellent !!). But, your ignorant, rude, disrespectful, hateful employee named Encha, needs to be dealt with. I came into this establishment over a week ago, and when we walked in, we weren t greeted and walked into this employee cussing out her manager named Tiffany, and harassing the new girl named Delores. We didn t want to stay but we were really hungry and stayed after 5 minutes of waiting at the registers to be seated. I went to Denny s on a weekday morning, and I was impressed by the staff s behavior. The lady who served us was very friendly and attentive, and she treated my children very well. We love this place for their cheese sticks, which are always crispy and cheesy. The only problem is that they stopped serving fish and chips, which was my favorite dish. I wish they would bring it back because it was so tasty and filling. I used to go to Denny s every second week, but now I go every second month just because of the cheese sticks. I hope they will add more variety to their menu soon.
