These guys have the best Dickey s meats ever! The staff was very professional and the atmosphere was on point. We bought about 12lbs of assorted meats and they all had great flavor and juicy. We ordered via Uber Eats to the aloft hotel. I m not going to comment on the delivery. The food was a 4 out of 5 BUT they included no cutlery. We orders the loaded large baked potatoes and a side of beans. Every delivery should include cutlery! Also the establishment does not have a section on their Uber eats platform for special instructions to the restaurant (there is only one for the delivery driver) and the ads for the deserts have no expanded information on the items nor do the ads for the Yellow cups have specifications on the ounces of each size to make an accurate selection. There is a large space for improvement in relation to customer experience when placing an order.

I ve been coming to this place for over a year now but I have never got the opportunity to actually place a review but today changes it all. I come in for my usual order and the staff were so caring when it came to be being a couple dollars short on my bill. I was embarrassed but they made me feel at home and took care of me. I am always so happy to eat at my favorite restaurant with the fast service & and delicious and I do absolutely recommend everyone to come and visit for the atmosphere, environment, and the TASTY food!!

We haven t come here in 2 years due to a previously negative experience with the service. But we finally came back to find that the store is under new ownership and it made ALL the difference. The service is absolutely amazing and we d come back just for the atmosphere of the space. The food was very good, brisket had great flavor and they did not skimp on the meat at all. Just wanted to say Thank You to the Dickeys ladies and crew that work at this location. You saved my holiday :) We ordered for Thanksgiving for 4-6 people: 3 lbs of super tender lightly-smokey pulled pork which turned out to be a full tray! They even chopped in some burnt ends. Yum. 2 lbs of smoked chicken breast that got all kinds of love from the family. We have competition BBQers in our family and it impressed. I think it needs more smoke flavor though. It was juicy and tender to boot. 1 lb of jalapeno/cheddar sausage, which was deeelicious. Goes great with pulled pork. 2 pints of sweet and original sauce 1/2 pint of spicy sauce It was all amazing and more food than I imagined. I had to give up my grill to move into my apartment, but Dickeys has kept us through. We made our own sides here at home and some family brought some casserole and pie. Tastiest Thanksgiving weve had in years. Texas Style. Best tender BBQ in Irving close to us. Went to Spring Creek a month ago and it sucked (shamefully lol). Dickeys you are the better BBQ here on 183 & Beltline. Thanks for an amazing order of meats, it saved my Thanksgiving. Ummm, and please bring back the soft serve Ice Cream Machine lol

I did the curbside pick up at 4:48. I got there at 5:10 was like okay I m early I ll play some games on my phone because I made my order for 5:15. They didn t start making my order until 5:15. I looked at the tracker to see the process ever 5mins. They finished around 5:24 so I was like okay they should be coming to deliver my food. I saw the manager come out and was like okay cool. Nope homie was leaving for the day and he had his dinner to-go. 5:33 I went inside to get my food and when I entered the employees pop out like cockroach s. They were sitting down on their phone instead of looking out to see if anyone was in the curbside parking. It s not like they were teenagers either which I can get they are glued to their phones. Their food was disgusting. Their drink machine was not working properly and they were using bottled 2-liters for drinks. I have seen better from this company before but the quality of their food has definitely gone downhill. The lady manager gave me ribs that were super small and not really near at least medium size. I was shocked that she even fed me that nonsense. She tried to justify these small ribs by saying she gave me a little more. Considering I contacted them the more was NOT OBVIOUSLY NOTICEABLE at all. That was why I notified them of this nonsense in the first place. I do know that there are area restaurants with better food. This needs to be rectified. If your ribs are this bone dry - Do not sell them to people. If your staff is NOT able to make reasonable decisions they need to be doing another job. I hate to say this but their food at this point is truly mediocre at best.

I ordered through their third party on doordash called Wing Boss. I ordered a 10pc boneless Cajun flavor wings. The best thing was the fries. These boneless wings were sooooo greasy I had to peel the breading off and they were still greasy. I tasted more grease than actual seasoning! If I could give them 0 stars I would. I won t be back!

So Im not sure why this location doesnt have a higher star rating. So its been an extremely long time since Ive had anyones BBQ including Dickeys, like way back before 2004 mainly because my husband and I before he passed had our own little smoked meat business so we always ate what we cooked. Now the funny thing is that I really dont like smoked meats but every now and then I want it and I dont cook it anymore so I just dont get it. Now my friend who is in the hospital is totally addicted to Dickeys (orders it so much I think she has it on speed dial and if she was to cut herself shed probably bleed Dickeys BBQ sauce) and has 20+ that Ive seen of the big yellow cups adding one today... LoL. So I asked her what she wanted for me to bring her so besides the carrot cake I had to stop and get she asked for Dickeys. So her choice of the menu is the 3 meat plate with baked beans and potato salad plus a side of coleslaw, mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese and of course her Big Yellow Cup of sweet tea and sweet barbecue sauce. I didnt have time to take pictures because she was tearing up the bag trying to get to the food but I did get a little bit of each item and now here is my review of the whole experience. Everyone at this location is extremely nice, friendly and very helpful and they all had smiles on their faces and my order was correct. When I got to the hospital everything was still hot. The meats was spot on not only with the amount of smoke I like (I hate over smoked meats) and extremely flavorful, juicy and delicious and the sides I probably could make a meal just on them. The Mac and cheese was very creamy, the baked beans had a very great BBQ flavor and I really enjoyed the coleslaw but the star side for me is the mashed potatoes. I probably would buy a whole pan of them. The only drawback for me out of the whole thing is that for the amount of meat you get there is not enough of the great BBQ sauce it was gone too fast. Im glad she asked me to stop by while I was here. Parking: Not enough handicap parking. They do have several curbside parking. Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible but I will say that the doors are extremely heavy for a disabled in or out of a chair.

I happened on this place by accident. Im from out of town and after dropping someone off and looking for a place to eat, I settled on Wingstop. I saw this place as I pulled in, so I decided to give it a try. I ended up with a two meat platter with pulled pork and the jalapeño cheddar sausage. They asked which sauce I wanted and recommended the sweet since I ordered pulled pork and didnt know which sauce I wanted. I really like their sweet BBQ sauce. Also, the jalapeño sausage was some of the best Ive had...so much so I had to get another 1/2 pound to go. I will make an effort to come back when Im in the area. I am an out of town visitor and I was referred to your restaurant by a local family member. I placed my order at 1:24 to pick up my food at or around 1:45p. I arrived to the restaurant at about 1:53p and my food was not ready. The lady behind the counter was very unprofessional and rude and she had a condescending attitude. Stay away! New management/owners. Walked in to an awkward atmosphere. I was the only customer at dinner the meat person was sitting down in a chair on his phone didn t bother to get up until I was ready to order. I ordered 6 ribs - they were dry and over cooked - probably because they don t get much business. There was absolutely no self serve anything - prices were way higher than the Dickeys on MacArthur. They really push up-sells and you can tell that they are struggling. I ve cream machine not even on. No cones. Notta. This place is a Dickeys knock off. Don t come here. Go to the one on MacArthur 2 miles away. They have pickles, bread and onions. They have ice cream, and they aren t too busy too take your order . Oh and it s cheaper . And the food tastes better and you can get your own sauce. It is for these reasons that I will never return to this location. It was also too Smokey in there. The smoker is in another room at the MacArthur location. Too bad.

First I want to say how nice everyone is when you enter the establishment. Everyone was so nice and willing to explain things to me being that where I m from the Dickeys menu is limited and doesn t have the options that were presented here so that was cool. I got a pulled pork sandwich and a giant baker with meat. The food was very flavorful, prepared correctly and packaged neatly (which is important). The only thing I would say is I would recommend eating in as it seems as the food doesn t hold heat very long as I had to reheat it when I arrived home (I ve had that problem with almost every restaurant in the DFW for some reason, the food just doesn t hold heat really no matter how close you live to the establishment). But reheating it was fine, still just as delicious they give a generous amount of toppings on the baked potato which I appreciated. I am 100% going back as the customer service was like no other and the food is tasty.

Me and my dad stopped there when we drove over to Irving to hit the Lowe s outlet. The staff was super friendly and super kind. And the okra was the best okra I ve ever had at dickies before. Possibly the best okra I ve ever had. It had a seasoning on it that just knocked it out of the park.

Horrible service, ordered for delivery, order was cancelled even though I kept calling and they kept saying it was on its way...2 hours later nothing. I called back and they said if I went in I could get my meal, well if I couldve gone I would have done that instead of ordering delivery. Still waiting on my refund and was promised a free meal for my next visit and that hasnt happened because the exact same person I talked has to be there. Just a waste of time.

Was very disappointed by this location. We ordered 4 sandwiches for pick up. One of the sanwiches was wrong. The brisket was dry. The dude working there was super rude. I tried to get an extra sauce and the dude would not let me have it. $40 on dry sandwiches and I cant get an extra sauce?!? F that! Ill never go to that location again.

It s unfortunate to say this exact location has been consistently inconsistent with order accuracy. I ve been ordering from this location for three years, hoping it was just a one time mistake. First, you rarely ever get all of the sides you order. I ve usually had at least one side missing. Second, I ve gotten BBQ sauce ONCE in those three years. When you re ordering, you get the option to choose which sauce you want. Unfortunately, it doesn t matter which one you pick, it probably won t come with it. Third, today I decided to pay for extra BBQ sauce just to see if I would get any. All I got was my entree, some of my sides missing, with no BBQ sauce at all. This was enough for me to decide I won t be ordering from this place anymore. I ve tried giving them a chance for the last three years, just to see if it was a one time mistake. I m a forgiving person, but I ve never had such a consistent issue with one particular location or restaurant ever. Take your money elsewhere.

I have to say that Dickies barbecue has been one of my favorite places to eat out. However, the last time I went to place my order there was an African American dude that was too aggressive, rude, and seemed very unhappy working at this place. I ended up placing an order that was cold and had no flavor what so ever. I would never come back again to this place until this person leaves and hopefully he can find another better place to work. At least a place where he can be happy.

I arrived to the location at 8:20 pm to simply pick up a side of potato salad to-go. There was another man there who was picking up an order that had been placed previously online as to-go. There was a woman attending us. The other employee on duty was a male and he was EXTREMELY RUDE. He shouted out to the restaurant that it was so disrespectful for people to be showing up 20 minutes before closing. That was an inaccurate statement as the restaurant was not scheduled to close until 9pm. Regardless, it was uncalled for and highly unprofessional. I ve never felt so uncomfortable at a place of dining before. I hope that this situation is addressed. I love the food, but would not return to this location due to this man s behavior.

Terrible service. Placed an order for 4lbs of bbq turkey. What I got was 1.7 lbs of turkey. Called the restaurant and was told no one could help, I would have to call back 3 days later talk to the manager Tanshenesa. ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH THE MONEY!! Paid a hefty amount for the family to be left hungry. The 2 meat meal consisted of TWO ribs and 4 little pieces of brisket... for an adult meal! Im not a big eater and even I went to bed hungry! Think thats bad the kids meal had ONE rib and they didnt even put the mac-n-cheese that came with it!! Ordered a salad and didnt get the dressing! I dont understand how this is happening, I left a not to kind review the other day, which mysteriously does not show up in comments. I followed it up with a call to the corporate office. They offered to appease me with coupons for free food, which I declined because my complaints were not an effort to get free food. The person said she would have the owner call me. Placed an online order 2 brisket sandwiches and 2 sides each, extra onions, extra jalapenos and extra pickles. Almost $30. The sandwiches were so small about two bites each. To me they looked like sliders. I called because I noticed one of my sides were missing. Then after getting off the phone noticed the extras we paid for were missing too. The sides portion were so small. I feel for $30 you should get a meal that fills you up, but after eating my husband and myself were still hungry. This place will rip you off....save your money eat somewhere else.
