I was missing home (Hawaii) a lot recently and Pineapple grill did not disappoint in making me feel right back at home. The music, the vibe, the food!! They have spicy ahi poke and tako on Fridays and Saturdays and its BOMB. Best in Texas by far (I tried too many poke places this year. The Teri chicken was ono, crispy and not too much sauce. The musubis hit the spot. The tako poke was boiled to perfection and soooo ono . Everything 10/10. If youre a Hawaiian living in Texas you gotta visit this place.

There are certain things on the menu that are AMAZING!!! Then are things I just dont care for. What mostly makes this place a 5 is the INCREDIBLE STAFF!!! OMG!!! I have never seen a more friendly staff that go all the way and beyond to make sure youre enjoying yourself and the food. Extra sauce, extra spicy, you name it. The vibes of this place alone make it worth checking out. Once you try and find what you like, you will be here every day. By your second visit, they will know your name and make recommendations based on what you had the 1st time.

Was traveling through Texas and stopped here. Did not expect much because I had just been to an Indian restaurant rated so highly and it was probably the worst Id ever had. Im here to tell you Pineapple Grill actually deserves the glowing reviews you see here. My mom and I tried a little bit of everything. Wings, katsu, teriyaki chicken all was full of flavor but still on the healthy side. Mac and cheese was . Even their steamed veggies was delicious. I am a picky eater but I would come back here any time Im in the area. Lady at the register was also super nice to us!

For 45-60 minutes, I felt like I was in Hawai i! The staff was very attentive, courteous, greeting everyone with an Aloha! that immediately puts you in the right mood! The food is delicious, the ambience is relaxed with Reggae streaming in the background, and I guarantee you ll leave wanting to come right back! Bad customer service. Food is decent but if they get your order wrong nobody cares The first one said ALL rice and the other was veggies and rice but as I said to your cashier the rice was not show on the ticket but ALL veggies was not shown is a fact.... your cashier said no it doesnt say rice to me 3 times as Im trying to explain my problem but no she said thats what the ticket says. I have placed multiple orders with this restaurant and all I really wanted was on offer to come get rice and not have to argue. The manager called and left a message to offer more rice actually (didnt see voice-mail first day) but I was done after speaking to your cashier

This is my favorite place for Hawaiian food! There is a variety of options whether you want the classic plate lunch or their specials such as their poke. I cannot get enough of their spam masubi either. You can tell the food is thoughtfully made and the spirit of Hawaii is behind everything the restaurant does.

We love Pineapple Grill! Its about a 30 minute drive there from our house and we will go anytime! The garlic chicken is so tasty and the teriyaki chicken is always juicy and tender! The macaroni salad is AMAZING!!!! Im one of those people who puts salt on food without thinking because most restaurants dont have enough flavor in their dishes. NO SALT FOR ME AT PINEAPPLE GRILL!! The love and care from the owners and chefs is measured not only on the service they give us but the food presentation and quality. Forget those chain Hawaiian places and make the extra drive to this place. The loaded fries are something special too!!

First time in and it was counter service. I ordered the Chicken Katsu plate on a whim. As you can see by the pic, it was indeed a large serving and made from scratch. It was alot of food for a grown man and could easily be split between 2 people and even a small kid if you added some fries or another macaroni. about the food taste; Although made fresh, it lacked enough seasoning but the sauce helped. Service was friendly and attentive. One note: the AC must be acting up as it was hot inside. I hear the loco mojo, BBQ beef, and chicken teriyaki are good. The folks next to me mentioned the loaded fries topped with beef or chicken is great. I will go with these next time.

My recent visit to Pineapple Grill was a mixed experience. I ordered the teriyaki chicken plate with white rice and macaroni as side items. Unfortunately, the teriyaki chicken lacked distinctive flavor, and the white rice was pretty standard nothing particularly bad or good about it. The macaroni didnt impress me either; it was just passable. However, the service at Pineapple Grill somewhat redeemed the lackluster meal. The cashier was notably friendly and helpful, assisting me in choosing my meal, which was a nice touch. Additionally, the food was served quickly, which I appreciated. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nothing out of the ordinary, and the meal cost about $15 including tax. This price feels slightly high compared to other similar restaurants. While the experience wasnt terrible, it didnt inspire a return visit, especially given the other available options that offer more value or better taste at the same price point. Ive settled on a four-star rating because the customer service and quick service were commendable. But if I were rating solely based on the food, it would lean towards three stars. Taste is subjective, so it might still be worth trying Pineapple Grill to see if it suits your palate better than it did mine. Parking: Restaurant is set in a shopping strip with plenty of parking during the time I visited which was lunch time on a Saturday. There is a sports bar next door that shares the parking lot so parking could be more restricted when the sports bar is busier during their peak ours which I m guess is more in the evenings.

Support a local business, that s delicious and has good quality food. I moved here 12 years ago from Hawai i and this is the first time I ve had an experience like this, since I ve been here. Dropped by after reading the reviews and wanted to check it out. I really liked the place and the folks serving and making the food. Makes you feel at home and the girl behind the counter calling me uncle. So Asian and yet making me feel old. The soy garlic chicken wings were delicious. Discovered this place on tik tok and decided to take the 45 minute drive from Frisco to come try. We came in around early dinner time and were greeted by Pui working the register. She was very welcoming and friendly throughout our visit and made a stop at our table to make sure we didn t need anything, and that our food was tasting great. We ordered the mixed plate with teriyaki chicken and kalua pork, the loco moco, and the teriyaki steak fries. Everything was excellent and fresh! We travel to Hawaii often, so when we re home in Texas we crave good Hawaiian bbq. This place is the real deal! Definitely recommend, and definitely will be back!

Food- We are repeat customers but today I had the chance to try the garlic shrimp for the first time and OMGOODNESS!!! They recently brought them back to the menu and I hope they never go away again! Trust me- order them! My husband got the two meat plate with chicken katsu and teriyaki beef. He said it was delicious- the chicken katsu was nice and crispy on the outside and juicy/tender on the inside. He dug in right away so I didn t get a picture of his plate. Atmosphere/Customer Service- We went during lunch time (12noon). There were several people picking up to-go orders and not a lot of people dining in so the atmosphere was super chill/relaxed. Although the staff were busy, they checked on us often to see if we needed anything. Bathrooms were clean as well. Needless to say, we ll definitely be back!

The food was fabulous . Except he chicken katsu. It was completely dry, no seasoning, and only came with regular ketchup. OMG this food is AMAZING!! I had the mixed plate with hamburger steak and teriyaki beef. Holy smokes it was so delicious! Will male two meals easily! Will be back for sure. The girl who waited on us was a sweetheart!

Tried this Hawaiian place for the first time, i did take out since it was going to be lunch for work. I ordered the loco moco which was filling and tasted great, their Mac salad was amazing as well. Spam musubi was one of the best I ve had. Will definitely be a regular here and can t wait to try more items on the menu. So glad to have this authentic Hawaiian restaurant not to far from our house. Suggestion would be to add tocino or longanisa to the menu

A fantastic find in DFW! The menu is simple and very authentically Hawaiian, and the service is truly wiki wiki. Its fast-casual style, but my order was brought to my table just as soon as I sat down. The entree was fabulous, colorful, and flavorful. Flame-grilled chicken in a teriyaki glaze, hearty scoops of steamed rice and mac salad (the true glue of Hawaiian cuisine), and a slice of pineapple for garnish and palate cleanser. They also serve Hawaiian Sun beverages, and the owner visits with her patrons and truly enjoys her restaurant. This is a place where the food is made with love, and it shows!

We gave Pineapple Grill a try and OMG I m glad we did! It s a little bit of Hawaii right here in the DFW. The musubi was the best I ve had since our visit to the islands 7 years ago. Their rice isn t mushy like other Hawaiian grills.The kalua pork was tender, smoky and packed with flavor. Better here then the top dollar luau we went to in Maui. The customer service was top tier and down to earth. Try this place, you won t be disappointed!

Found this restaurant by chance. So glad we did. We live in Las Calinas area and we will be making at the least a monthly visit to the Hurst/Bedford area. The food is fresh,flavorful. The soda was a great surprise love the cherry lime and the pineapple. Great friendly service.. THANKS GUYS WE WILL BE BACK.

Went by today and what I really wanted to give was 4 stars because of what I heard but couldn t because this place really deserves five. The reason I went today because the food is truly amazing However I was so disappointed when I saw they took the shrimp off the menu which is the only thing I eat there so I don t eat meat. Please bring back the shrimp. Don t know why it was taken off :(

This was our 1st time here, and my wife and I will DEFINITELY be back! We started with the Kalua Pork fries, and absolutely destroyed them. The pork was so tender, and flavorful... Lest not forget how the BBQ sauce, cheese, and red onion tied it all together and made the dish fantastic . For the entrees, we had the mix plates, Me: Teriyaki Beef & Garlic chicken Wife: Teriyaki Chicken & Garlic Chicken The garlic chicken was fried to perfection, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and had the right amount of garlic during each bite. The Teriyaki Chicken & Beef was so tender, super tasty, and not overpowering like some places prepare their dishes, just drenching it with sauce. It was just so well balanced and marinated overall. We had sides of sticky rice, and the Mac salad, and lemme tell you something... I couldve had just the Mac Salad alone, and Id be fine. Its that good! Theres a certain saltiness to it, but thats the addictive part of it. Trust me, youll see what I mean when you have it. Not pictured : SPAM Musubi I apologize for not adding the picture of the Musubi, but it was made fresh, and hot, that I ate it so damn fast before realizing I didnt snap a pic. MY BAD. Overall, this place is one you must try, if youre into Polynesian food, and support local businesses. The service is top notch (all our food was out quickly... Like within 10min), the place is super laid back, casual, and the background music was at a perfect volume, making you feel like youre back in the islands.
