Had a good experience with using this law firm when fighting my case after I got into my accident in December. It took a little bit of time but that was because of the settlement , car repairs and chiropractor. I m grateful for them for getting me the amount I was comfortable with , they do take a little bit to respond and after calling couple times I didn t get a response but within a day I was always contacted. Overall, i would recommend them to someone who is looking for a lawyer.

I don t usually write reviews but Im so displeased with the way my case is being handled . There are several complaints first off they don t return calls ,Texts or emails after they take on your case they ghost you ! It s like pulling teeth to get an update . They don t even reach out to give you any update whatsoever! I mean No Contact at all ! I ve been trying for weeks and weeks to get a simple call back .Ive had changes in attorney and didn t even know it until one day I called and they transferred me to a whole different person. This is my very first case and I hate that I chose this firm . I m over them and their unprofessional behavior. The positive reviews I m convinced they are FAKE ! I will never refer them to anyone! They have no concern ,Compassion or sympathy! They definitely lack professionalism! If I could give 0 stars I would ! Don t walk RUN from this place .

But never got informed about anything it s been 4 months and when I call my case manager I either get placed on hold for 15 min or just straight voicemail, EVERYTIME I CALL THEM . I need a lawyer quick Im not a low class citizen that needs an appointed defender . Im actually willing to pay but this firm is the worse dont waste your time. The receptionist is very dizzy and the attorneys dont have enough Olivia pope in them to fight the case theyre weak. And this is a real review they will waste you time. All of the positive reviews are false if you ask me. It pains me to write this review, but I feel its important for others to be aware. Unfortunately, everything youve read in these negative reviews about Jim Adler & Associates is 100% true based on my experience. We hired them on July 12, 2023, for a relatively simple accident claim with a total payout of $30,000. The insurance company paid Jim Adler & Associates the full amount, but 16 months later, we have yet to receive any of that money. We have sent numerous emails and made countless phone calls, only to be stonewalled each time. The lack of communication and professionalism is appalling, especially from Bill Adler, whose response to our concerns was dismissive and far from professional. There are thousands of personal injury law firms in Houston and Texas don t be swayed by Jim Adler s flashy commercials or Texas Hammer slogan. If anything, they re more like a dull butter knife, in my opinion. For the last six months, my wife has been running around collecting medical bills they already had, but they ve repeatedly lied about not having them to further delay the process. Despite being paid by the insurance company for months, they have shown no urgency in settling the claim. Their lack of care and refusal to return calls is frustrating, and now theyve told us theres an issue with their phone system and that our case manager was either fired or quit. We now have no one handling our case, and we feel utterly stonewalled. It s my belief that they are intentionally withholding our funds. To make matters worse, they didn t use the proper accident claim insurance but instead used our personal health insurance for the injuries something that seems legally questionable. In short, this has been the worst legal experience Ive ever had. Please be cautious when choosing a law firm. My strong recommendation is to stay far away from Jim Adler & Associates. I will be sharing this review across several social media platforms as well.

Absolute worst experience of my life. The lack of communication and professional displayed by this firm is ridiculous. I never get calls back from Kathleen Holmes, very rarely will she return an email, and when she does it is to let me know that my attorney, Jackson Warren, is no longer with the firm. This case is over 14 months old and has been a nightmare from the start. They originally showed negligence when scheduling to diagnose my injuries. After telling them multiple times I was having the majority of my pain in my shoulder, they finally scheduled the MRI, but this was after two trips to the clinic to have MRIs done on my neck and back. I was post accident nearly 3 months before I ever got any treatment to my main injury. I have requested to drop the firm on numerous occasions, but they never get back to me. I will never recommend nor use Jim Adler in the future, in fact, I may seek legal action against them for their negligence in getting treatment and settlement. As of now, they are holding one of the insurance companies checks, assuming in an escrow, or interest account that they will keep for themselves. I urge anyone looking for an accident attorney to please look elsewhere, there are much better firms available to you. Do not be fooled by the billboards and commercials, I highly doubt Alder himself has handled a case in the last decade, his team does everything and they are mediocre at best from my experience over the last 14 months. I have not even been assigned another attorney since being informed mine was no longer with the firm two weeks ago. Just goes to show you that they do not care about their clients or their well-being.

I can t even get a hold of them anymore, phone calls go straight to voice mail and never returned calls. They missed imaging that the doctor have suggested because they don t follow through. My case it s done and I can talk to them regarding the check they are supposed to send. No other numbers where you can file a complaint.

Terrible experience with this office, nothing serious, nothing professional with the Hispanic community. Very bad communication, they transfer the case from one person to another without prior notice. The last person I spoke to was Xiomara Reyes. I have left many messages with her and other people but no one returns the calls. They take it like a game. I dont know if its because we are Hispanic. They are not at all empathetic about the fact that I lost my brother in an accident, I have to deal with this type of people who only see convenient monetary interests for themselves, they do not want to let go of my case and because they do nothing, they still want to charge me 35% of a claim From the insurance, something that is done without the need for a lawyer, they are not even fighting my case.

It s been over a year and a half maybe going on two years since my case has been going on. Mercedes Zepeda handles my case and Iv been having so much trouble contacting her or anyone returning my calls,emails . Iv had to drive myself to the office the day AFTER I had my knee surgery because nobody would return my calls. A nice lady name Roxana has helped me for the most part and I m very thankful for her time. I left a review and was told to take it down because it wasn t nice but I don t think the settlement they offered my daughter was anywhere near nice. She was in a car accident and they are only going to give her 800$ . This is the last settlement offer . The first offer was 500$ smh. Mercadez Zepeda was calling me AND sending me emails letting me know she was on top of the case when they noticed the review I put but after I took it down i stopped getting calls and emails which is why I m posting the review again . Not only am i VERY DISSATISFIED with the settlement but very disappointed how Jim Adler is so well known and can t make a client happy and satisfied. I contacted Jim Adler s Office in Houston, Texas and the staff was not too professional. There was a major accident between Westport and 59 yesterday and I was trying to call to see if they can find information on those people to maybe get in contact with them so they can take your case and the lady that answered the phone was very unprofessional. Are you the one that was in a vehicle and I told him no I don t know it was two people. They could ve contacted the PD to find out who the people were and they saw it doesn t work like that . The day after my accident , July 10 - 2024 , CORINA FELTMAN , the investigator for Jim S. Adler law firm called me and she did a wonderful thorough investigation of my accident and provided me with couple of Phone Numbers that I could call in case I had any questions or concerns , she has assigned me with my case Number and emailed me with a list of things that I needed to get them ready and send it to her , things like pictures of documents and pictures of my damaged car and few other things, and i did everything that she had ask of me . What was noticeable of CORINA , was that she really knows what she is doing , very helpful , very polite, very knowledgeable and she really took her time to answer any questions that I had and I was very happy and pleased of how they really handle their clients s needs and concern so QUICKLY , DILIGENTLY , PROMPTLY and PRECISELY. , I highly recommend JIM ADLER S Law firm. I have lived all my life around Houston area , and a few years around DFW , and I must have seen Jim Adler on TV at least a million times , but I never thought that I would ever have to call him , but I DID , and I am glad that i did !! I mean where or who is going to care for you that much to do all of that for you ??? I REALLY DO APPRECIATE EVERYTHING THAT CORINA AND JIM ADLER LAW FIRM HAS DONE FOR ME SO FAR , and when Jim says in his commercials on T.V. that i will take care of you and i thought they only say stuff like that on T.V. to get Clients , since i have heard Jim a Million times saying that , but now i believe that , i really do , they do take care of you DILIGENTLY !!! Alejandra Arreola is extremely rude. From the start when she got my case file she was slow to process things and had an excuse for everything instead of taking accountability or just apologizing for her mistakes or as a whole. She lied about saying she would leave my check with security instead she said it was never said because she handles all the checks and has to bring it to me. But, I have an email saying otherwise. She didnt want to accept she made a mistake again like she forgot to ask me to sign a release to settle with the insurance company when we first spoke but waited an additional 2 weeks until I called then she mentioned it when asked why nothing was said before hand causing even a bigger delay once again she failed to apologize and accountability. She is very arrogant and rude she continuously spoke over me like in person she wouldnt let me speak a word. Horrible horrible Horrible customer service....Very disappointed because I really wanted to like this company.

SECOND WORST LAW FIRM I HAVE DEALT WITH FIRST BEING KWAN LAW THE LITIGATION ASSOCIATE OF ADLER. Thats where you are sent for litigation. We were not told that we would actually have a completely different law firm do the litigation. Well case is not settled after the demand letter for litigation we were given Kwan Law firm another below par attorney which after getting MRI results stating my wife needed surgeries to repair here foot and ankle and after that Jessica from Kwan law told my wife no surgery before lawsuit is settled. Now she has tendons and ligaments that need to be reattached and that was an estimate. How many estimates have you gotten that were correct? I am an EMT and deal with people in rehab and home with injuries that arent repaired. It just gets worse. At 52 my wife doesnt need to be in a wheelchair because she cant support weight on that side . When my wife complained Kwan law associate Jessica told my wife they were dropping the case and we would be dropped from Adler as well. Because my wife didnt want to be part of Kwans scam to defraud the insurance company and this is Adlers associate. Speaks volumes about the integrity of Adler. You use a unprofessional scammer as part of your firms business. So after a year of no contact by Adler and Kwan it was a waste of time. Filing legal malpractice against both because by dropping your case it makes it almost impossible to get another attorney to handle it. Just do yourself a favor research and dont go by you growing up with the Texas hammer, Maybe his ways are the reason OConnor separated from him. Anyway find an attorney who actually wants you to succeed in your case. Its so many things happening out there your one case for them is just a drop in the bucket. DO NOT USE ADLER OR KWAN LAW. FIND SOMEONE WHO FITS YOU. ALSO ADLER HAS MANY SITES SO HIS REVIEWS ARE SPREAD OUT EVERY WHERE. GO TO BBB SITE. HE DOESNT EVEN TRY TO ANSWER REVIEWS OVER THERE. TRASH FIRM. Jim Adler and associates is a terrible and money hungry law firm. They dont talk to you, nor represent you well. They leave your case like that without any communication, but yet want to reap where they did not sow. Do not waste your time on this useless law firm. I had a wreck last year, they wouldnt pick my calls, would never update me on my case. They deliverberatly did not want to get me any compensation. When I realized that they didnt represent my interest, I fired them before I got a little thing from the insurance company. Yet they still took 35% percent of the recovery. They still went ahead to write my own insurance that they will retain another 35% of my uninsured motorist, which will never happen. Such a bunch of selfish people that think they can intimidate their clients who they think are ignorant of the law but are not. Please do not hire them. They are very bad set of lawyers that do not represent your interest.

For 2 years and 2 months they have been handling my case, and I have not heard yay or nay since January 2024 from the office and never once have I spoken to the attorney handling my case, and have had at least 4 case managers since it was opened. My experience with Jim Adler & Associates was nothing short of amazing because of Mercedes Zepeda. She and Kawana were very attentive and responsive. Its irritating to deal with these people, they dont answer the phones and they take too long to settle a case, they are supposed to fill out the documents (thats what a lawyer is for) in the end I had to fill them out myself. My case was no big deal and it took 9 months to finish. I have had better experiences with other lawyers who are not as well known as this Jim Adler freeloader.

We are a ways through our car accident case with Jim Adler & Associates, and so far the experience has been very good! So far, we have worked mainly with our case manager, Ceci Trevino, and she has been lovely to work with. She has regularly kept in touch with us via phone and email and has worked conscientiously to gather all the necessary documents relevant to our case. She made us feel at ease and that we were in good hands. As our case enters its next stage, I suspect we will be conferring more often with the attorney on our case, Ray Cantu. But from the little bit we have interacted with him so far, he has proven himself to be very helpful and available for any questions or concerns. The ads, the promotion and marketing all worked! I got into my first car accident in 2023 and was completely in shambles.
