I attended a wedding that offered an 8 course dinner. I enjoyed the quail, angus beef, and peking duck. The bartender did a good job getting through the line. The venue was clean, spacious, and nicely air conditioned.

I had my wedding here it and it was truly amazing. It was able to fit 400 guests and we still had plenty of room. The food was amazing, and the staff there is very accommodating and friendly. Lambo was incredibly easy to work with and I would highly recommend this for other couples. Parking was easy for guests and all of my vendors had no issues with them. My wedding was exactly what I envisioned and everyone had so much fun at Lambo!

I had the most amazing time planning my wedding at Lam Bo Ballroom! Ive worked or talked with all the venue managers Michael, Chris, and Eric during my process of planning and prepping for the event, and everyone was great at communicating, laying everything out for me, and helping me along the way. They even recommended some amazing vendors for the event that theyve worked with in the past and gave me great unbiased reviews on everyone. They were very flexible with me when I needed to make adjustments for my vegetarians and my kids at the wedding. The staff were great during the event, my guests were very happy with how quickly the food was coming out between courses, and everyone raved about the quality of the food. I had my aunts and uncles ask about the restaurant because of the high quality of the food. Another nice thing is they have ample parking space for all your guests, you will have security at your event, the bathrooms are large and very clean. And you get a large bridal suite for you and your girls or guys to get ready in for your ceremony and reception! Also, the vibe is GREAT. I think its like 20ft ceilings with like glass chandeliers. It definitely passes all the vibe checks.

I had my wedding (2/25/2023) and rehearsal dinner (2/23/2023) at Lam Bo. Point of contact for renting the ballroom was Michael and he was exceptional to work with from beginning to the end . He was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Eric was so sweet and hardworking. Eric stepped in when Michael was not on site. He truly wanted to make sure that me and my husband were happy. These two were helpful in answering any questions and delivered a successful and beautiful wedding for us. We are in awe about how beautiful everything was. Our wedding was ~330 guests and the venue was large enough to accommodate all of us and still had plenty of room to feel comfortable. Food - the lambo buffet was great. They also have a private room in the back that allowed us to hold our rehearsal dinner. Food items at the buffet are different than the food items for the ballroom . I recommend scheduling a tasting prior to the event to try what meals you may want to be served. All of my guests enjoyed the food and gave high raves :) Venue came with their own security and bartender. I was also able to project a PowerPoint slide show on the large wall inside. The Dance floor was large and all of my guests had a blast dancing the night away. Overall, 10/10 would choose to have future events and parties here. Recommend for anyone who wants to have the perfect place to hold their wedding/unforgettable events !

Lam Bo Ballroom was the first venue we looked at, and we wanted to book it right then and there! We looked at other venues just to make sure, but this was the clear winner! This venue had everything we wanted: outdoor and indoor options for the ceremony, private bride and groom quarters, and a nice dancing floor ...makeup room! Plus foods was amazing. I can try to explain the awesomeness of this venue and the staff but until you actually walk the through the beautiful scenery yourself - my words will not do it justice. From the entrance, to the staff, to the breathtaking views - this place is simply stunning!Their level of service is impeccable. The perfect wedding ballroom! Do not hesitate to book with Lam Bo because they were one of the best vendors for our big day. We truly appreciate Michael & Eric (venue managers) for being so accommodating & professional to work with. The food was delicious & generous portion. Lam Bo ballroom was a great wedding venue. It is large with extremely high ceilings. The in-house catering was excellent for the traditional multi-course asian wedding and we kept on hearing rave reviews from our guests about the food. The venue was very well maintained and the bathrooms were very clean, and not just for an Asian venue. Parking was plentiful and safe, particularly compared to Bellaire options. Michael, a manager at Lambo, was very responsive (even on off hours) as well as his colleague Eric. He was extremely accommodating, even allowing us to come early to decorate the room partially ourselves and check on things before the wedding. He even opened up the ballroom on multiple occasions so that we could practice our first dance on the actual floor in the actual venue which helped us tremendously. In the era of COVID, we wanted to space the tables further apart, and decrease the number of guests per table. He adjusted the price per table fairly and made sure we were okay with the table arrangements. He provided an extensive list of common/reasonable vendors to jump start our process. This is an excellent venue for large gatherings, and will be happy to use them again.

We are SO happy to have chosen Lam Bo Ballroom as our wedding dinner hall and ceremonial area as well! The ballroom is very spacious and clean. We were able to divide the room into two separate spaces; ceremony and reception. Michael (manager) was extremely accommodating and even helped to find a vendor that could provide draping. Michael was very flexible, responsive and very sweet. My husband side of the family is Venezuelan and American. My father and mother are extremely picky with food, as in they eat only Asian food. So one of my biggest concerns while planning the wedding was pleasing the guests with food. ALL of our guests from all background LOVED the food. The lobster according to my father one of the best he s had. I even had one guest tell me it was better than Kim Son wedding food. I also appreciate Lam Bo allowing me to come the next day to clean instead of cleaning the very night of. Also another main reason why I choose Lam Bo. Most if not all venues requires you to leave at 10-11pm not to mention requires you to clean the night of. You will have no regrets! Choose this ballroom as part of your wedding day or party event!

Lam Bo Ballroom was an amazing venue to celebrate our marriage. It was a beautiful room that can accommodate close to 500 guest. We have heard only great things from our guests about how delicious the good was. The manager, Michael, and his staff were extremely kind and provided great service. Micheal was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the whole planning process. It is very obvious he has much experience with weddings and will make any accommodations in his power to make your wedding plans a reality. My wife and I could not be happier with our decision to hold our wedding reception at Lam Bo Ballroom.

Very late post but still wanted to get this review out there. My wife and I hard our wedding here over 2 years ago at Lam Bo Ballroom and everything was perfect. The venue was more than big enough to fit our 480 guests. The venue itself was a lot nicer looking than the other ones we looked at. The food and service were one of the highlights of our wedding as our guests left full and satisfied. We worked with Michael and he was great. He made wedding planning go a lot more smoothly. He was very helpful and answered all our questions in a timely manner. We had a lot of demands and he was able to work with us. We would highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a reception hall or even anybody looking to celebrate something! Also don t forget to ask for Michael as well!

We recently had our wedding at Lam Bo Ballroom because it was a referral from a friend. We dined here before from another event and was impressed with service and the food. There is plenty of parking and the private ballroom in the back is separate from their buffet restaurant. The ballroom can host up to 400 plus people. From the time we made the deposit to day of the event, the management was very friendly, responsive and flexible to work with. Their in house DJ, lighting and sound service is top notch.

Had my wedding here and the service was awesome! Lam Bo was the whole package with all that we needed for the reception, from catering, bartending, A/V, BYOLiquor, and nice chiavari chairs. We were able to customize some things on the menu after the tasting and had several of our friends and family complimenting about the food. They were very flexible on timing so we had a lot of time to prepare and decorate. Michael was the manager/coordinator. He was easy to communicate with and answered all our questions in person and on the phone. Everything went so super smooth on the wedding day. Michael made sure we were taken care of during our big day. There were two dance floors with lots of space to customize the table layout. Wedding planning is super stressful but my wife and I are so happy we went with Lam Bo. Hope to be attending more weddings/events here in the future!

We had our wedding last month here at Lam Bo. Many thanks to Lam Bo Ballroom, Michael and Nhi for making our wedding such a great success and memorable. Nhi was very responsive and always prompt to answer any questions. The ballroom is gorgeous and elegant with 26 ft ceiling and beautiful chandeliers. The first time we visited Lam Bo after visiting several venues in the area, we decided without any doubt that this is the place. We loved how the ballroom itself is beautiful without any decorations, so we did not have to spend a lot on the decorations. The ballroom is equipped with two projectors, speakers, chiavari chairs, a bar, dressing rooms, a stage and a large parking. The exceptional 8-course Asian meals were catered by Lam Bo. Not only the quality of food was exceptional, but the service we received were amazing. The wedding night went flawless. Most of my guests were their first time at Lam Bo and they complimented on how delicious the food was and how beautiful the ballroom was. According to my guests, food came out hot and served promptly. I would highly, highly recommend Lam Bo Ballroom to all couples looking for wedding venue & catering!

Oh my gosh. I attended a couple of weddings here and I have to say... This place is BEAUTIFUL. The venue is a very nicely located. It is right in the middle of Houston so it is close for everyone. The food served was done by the nicest and most helpful servers and on top of that, the food was AMAZING. There was pecking duck, poke appetizers, delicious lobster and steak entrées, and really good dessert! The venue is nicely located, its beautiful, the food was top of the line, and on top of it all the manager is always hands on and helps with every problem that occurs. I never booked a event here yet, only attended... But I will definitely be looking here to book whenever I have an event!

We recently had our wedding here in January. This was the best venue that we could have imagined. The ballroom is so beautiful and spacious. It is very well maintained. Michael (manager) begin working with us 1 year out and was always available to talk with us via phone or person whenever we needed to. He truly is a pleasure to work with and he really pulled everything together for us. Michael gladly worked with us to figure out the layout of the reception, the food which would be served for dinner, as well as the extra amenities we brought in ourselves to make our guests comfortable. Many of our guests commented on how lovely the venue was and a few told us they would be considering Lam Bo for their upcoming receptions as well. I can not say enough wonderful things about Lam Bo or Michael! We really loved how everything turned out on our special day and would gladly recommend Lam Bo to everyone for their special occasion. If you are in search for the perfect wedding venue, Lambo Ballroom is it! This venue has everything you need and will make wedding planning so much easier. First of all, you will have Michael. He is the best coordinator/manager I ve ever encountered in all my search for wedding venues. Don t talk to anyone else. Just Michael. No one else will make your life easier than Michael. My wedding was on the 24th of November 2018. It was a phung-nomenal wedding indeed! The food was catered by Lambo and before my guests left that night, they had so many great compliments about the food and excellent service. Side note: Make sure you order the menu with lobster, it was delicious! The venue itself is breathtakingly beautiful and is fully equipped with stage lights, two projection screens, dressing rooms, chiavari chairs, complimentary table linens and a bar. A lot of times people would have to rent these things but Lambo provides them, hence, making our lives a bit less stressful. We had the best dream wedding become a reality! We loved and enjoyed every moment. <3

I was thoroughly impressed with Lam Bo Ballroom this past weekend when I attended a friends wedding. My review is solely on my experience as a guest. If youre planning to have a Vietnamese/Chinese style wedding, Kim Son is usually the top pick. However, I would consider Lam Bo Ballroom as a venue. I enjoy the ballroom being inside the city, and that it is kind of hidden from the busy street of Westheimer (its behind the Lam Bo buffet restaurant). I also like that they have a big parking lot. I dont think valet is necessary. The ballroom is big but only enough to host 1 wedding (up to 600 guests). I like this idea a lot! Unlike Kim Son Bellaire, theres no chance of having wedding crashers or your guests going to the wrong wedding/room. Inside the ballroom, its very grand and has high ceilings. Its in pretty good shape. Reminds me of the same design you would see at a hotel ballroom. With that being said, decorations can be at a minimum since the ballroom is pretty on its own. They also have a built in bar to the right of the ballroom. Food was good! Its definitely not what you find next door at the buffet. I think the menu we had was the standard 9 course and my friends and I were satisfied. Who knows, I might be writing an updated review in a few years with my experience as a bride! Restroom review: The restrooms are located to the right when you walk through the first set of doors. I dont typically expect a nice restroom when Im at an Asian establishment, but I remember saying Wow when I walked in. It was very clean!! Theres plenty of stalls, so no need to wait in line for the next one to be available.
