This is our go to for daily breakfast a great start before a 10 hour shift. This place has great food and the atmosphere is great. The plate in the picture are Huevos divorciados.

Love this place. The breakfast tacos are great with handmade tortillas. They are big. The chipotle salsa is very unique. I would buy it separately. I had posole and it was a bit greasy. That would be one thing to improve. The restaurant has a great story. I will keep supporting it.

The food is well served, I would prefer the place to be a bit bigger. This place is a hidden gem . The prices are excellent and very affordable. Lemonade is served in a cool clay cup, and food is also served in a clay plate.

Great food. Better than most Mexican food in the valley. The rice was really good. Waitress gave us the menu in Spanish, which we understood then she spoke perfect English. She was very friendly. Atmosphere was great. Not much room in the diningroom.

Best Mexican food in the valley!! I make the drive from Brownsville to Harlingen at least once a week and everything I ve had has been delicious! Taste like it came straight from my Abuelas kitchen. 10/10 I highly recommend

I ordered two orders of tacos which came out to a little over $18. I didn t get the charro beans because they ran out but still charged me full price for the combo. They gave me not even half a ramekin of salsa. I wanted to give a local business a chance but never coming back and def not recommending.

They got the food for thought 2022 award. We came for the first time, waited almost an hour for two tacos to go. Just goes to show that, just because you have a clean kitchen doesn t mean that you have good service or good food. Very disappointed in the restaurant. We wouldn t recommend this place to anybody unless you have all the Time in the world and You don t worried about the quality of the food. 11/5/2022 We called at 8:55 am, we got there and called 6 more times while waiting in front of the restaurant. (We were in a white Mazda) Some one finally came out about 9:48 am n gave us the tacos n also gave us some free drinks as if that made it ok. She told us that they were very busy. In addition to forgetting our order, they got it wrong. Never going back .

Absolutely Horrible , the salsa was tomatoes juice with onions the flour tortillas had way too much lard they were salty I had fajitas that were so Damm tuff I didnt eat them the rice needed more cooking . And the service was no better ,she forgot the silverware and coffee was cold . Please do not go waste your time or money at this nasty place. This place needs to be shut down . Sept 17 2022 Saturday

Stopped by for some breakfast and I can say I will be returning! I had the Taco Loco and it was amazing and I was able to take some home as well. Customer service was 10/10. Lastly, I loved the green salsa which is important to me. I recommend checking out this location, support your local restaurants!!!

I d like to start off by saying I appreciate a locally owned place like this. Love the fact that it s only a few tables. I got the Mexican combo. Carne guisada was hot and tasty. Enchiladas seemed like they had been sitting a while so texture was not so good taste was nice. Salsa (which is very important to me) was pure heat, no flavor. Tortillas were a good size and very good. Rice was the right texture but almost no taste. Over all the food was hot and fresh but the lack of flavor in the rice and Salsa is the reason for the 3 stars. I ll definitely try again for breakfast

If you love Hole in the Wall Mexican foods restaurants add this place to your must go to list Small but dedicated owners and staff to their menu items Street Style tacos come with 5 to an order Fajita or Bistek So I ordered an extra one lol Gotta have 6 IMO On Friday and Saturdays Street Tacos ONLY menu from 8 p.m. thru 12 a m. Come by after a few and kill that crave
