girlfriend & i were enjoying drinks quietly. heavy black bouncer with glasses ambushes us & us yells we have 1 min left to finish drink & demands i nod my head. there are 10,000 better ways to communicate with customers, especially non-rowdy customers such as ourselves as we re leaving he interrogates us again while walking to the car. thankfully his boy (another employee?) was there to restrain this ostensibly drunk brute agitated our vibe & certainly not chill. will not return

Huge portions, ordered one chicken fried steak to share and im glad i didnt order two! We both got full, also had 2 beers and 3 house margs during happy hour on thursday between the two of us all for under 30$ ! Food was tasty and came out quick beer on the tap was super fresh and the vibe in here is CHILL!

Lucy is amazing. She was a great waiter. She even brought a tray and water for the dogs. I had a cheeseburger and fries. The fries were a little salty but nothing ketchup couldnt fix. Definitely coming back.

Chill is easily the best bar I ve been to in Grapevine! Maddie was our server, she was super attentive and friendly. My group came there during a shift change and we received impeccable servic! I know sometimes shift changes mess up the atmosphere but Faith picked up our ticket without missing a beat. They did such a wonderful job, I will definitely be returning. I love Chill!!!!!

I ve been to the Chill in Lewisville and it s so much better! I went to this location to meet a friend and we sat at a table and no one approached us for water or anything. So we left after talking for 10 minutes and no service. Definitely not coming back and wouldn t recommend it!

First time ever coming to chill bar only was there for a couple minutes and all a sudden me and my sister were getting drinks and walking back to find a place mind you it was busy and I mean packed nowhere to sit hardly as we were walking trying to find a place to sit some random man blocking all the seats who didn t even work there was saying I ll tax you if you get close I couldn t tell if he was being rude or making a fat joke but it was honestly disgusting and disrespectful behavior towards two women trying to get by I m sorry your blocking the main entrance dude but move please like hello crazy then the bouncer and staff start making a fight because my sister defended me I honestly think this place is disgusting and the attitude of workers and along with the atmosphere and the people this location and bar seems to attract first time ever having a negative experience when out drinking for crying out loud definitely a off dark energy never will come back plain Jane place to would never think it would be like that lol

Really slow service with subpar food. We ordered two appetizers (mac n cheese bites and chips & queso), drinks and entrees (pizza and salmon). The appetizers arrived luke warm. Our drinks didnt arrive until our entrees arrive. The pizza as well as the sides for the salmon entree were cold. Our server did not know the bar menu at all. Menu offered rumchata and apparently its no longer available. She confirmed that pina coladas are available just to return 15 mins later empty handed.

I used to go here on Mondays Ive been giving them chance after chance used to be 1/2 price pizza on Mondays and I would get charged for a full priced pizza and I assume the server wouldnt think I would notice I think shes skimming off the top for the tips which is illegal has happened to me 3 times that Ive notice she thinks Im dumb but not anymore Im done with this place heres the new late nite menu...not worth it at all go to flips boomerjacks etc... thank me later trust me not worth it. My husbands food being decent is the only reason this gets 2 stars instead of 1. We got waters and ordered a cheese curd starter and 2 sandwich entrees very shortly after sitting. We waited forever for our food and were never checked on until we looked pissed off enough for our waitress to run to the back and come back saying your food should be out any minute. Low and behold, she walks out with our entrees and tells us the cheese curds werent made yet because the fryer wasnt ready because of the beer or something?...she didnt really know but they were getting done now and would be out soon. My BBQ sandwich meat was dry and crusty and my french fries were cold. My husbands wrap was fine and his sweet potato fries were luke warm. The cheese curds came out a few minutes later and were piping hot and decent. Our waitress asked us if we needed anything when she dropped the curds off and then never came back. We ate quickly and just sat there waiting for her to come back but she was talking to people across the restaurant and patio that werent her tables. When I went to the bathroom my husband was finally able to ask for the check, at which point she said sure and went to talk to someone sitting at the bar instead. By the time I came back out to the table roughly 10 minutes later, she still had not brought it. I initially wanted to give it another chance sometime as the food thing might have been a fluke, but your waitress worrying about socializing than taking care of her tables killed that. You were not short staffed on waitresses and while you had a steady stream of people coming and going from the downtown festival, there were plenty of empty tables so you werent slammed. No reason we should wasted almost 2 hours in your restuarant and we werent the only table in that section waiting too long for food.

Chill is the perfect name for this place, we ve been here several times. Highly recommend coming here on a good weather day to enjoy sitting outside on the patio and having some appetizers and beer. Prices are very reasonable too, and if you come during the week, they always have a good special. Really enjoyed our bacon wrapped shrimp- bacon was perfectly cooked. Not as crazy about the cheese curds (thick breading, very heavy). We ve had several of the pizzas as well and the large is always enough to have leftovers.

We went there with our service dog yesterday. He was wearing a vest with SERVICE DOG clearly displayed. We were seated in a far corner, out of the way of other patrons. Our dog was sitting calmly at our feet when the manager immediately came over and asked that we sit outside. I explained that he was a service dog. The manager said that it did not matter. We left.

Didn t eat anything, but I had a few drinks with some family and it was super chill. Restrooms are clean. They didn t have Guinness on draft but they did have an IPA and Blood Honey which were both pretty good. Maybe it s the nostalgia of seeing people I hadn t in a long time or the reason we all got together in the first place, but I really enjoyed it here. I was there to celebrate a birthday with friends on 12/22. The food was okay but we ordered at one time and the food came out sporadically. My friend ordered a margarita and was initially just given tonic water so she had to ask Maria to have the bartender remake it. Maria stayed gone for long periods of time. When it was time for the checks, she got multiple things wrong including mine. I went ahead and paid for it although the drinks and food were wrong but sending her back to correct it wasn t worth it when I was ready to get out of there. I paid my tab, kept my receipt and left. I went through my bank transactions on 12/28 and noticed I was charged a completely different amount which meant someone changed my tab after the fact. I contacted Chill and spoke to the manager who told me it would take a bit for him to go back to the transactions that night and he d follow up. He took down all my information (name, phone number, etc.) & I still have yet to hear from him. I ll never visit again.

If I could give zero stars I would. Was greeted by a server when we walked in and told we could sit anywhere and it would be table service - Sunday at 3:00PM. More than half the tables were open on the patio so we were looking forward to enjoying the Cowboys game. A host came by our table when the game started and asked if we needed menus, we said yes. She never came back to our table but was running food and drinks and bussing all the tables around us. At 4:00 we went to the inside bar to order a round of drinks. The bartenders there were great. At 4:30 we asked the closest 2 servers passing our table for menus. One server brought us menus but never came back and still, served all the tables around us. Never got served despite wanting to have a full meal and drinks. Everyone around us was happy (and got service) and servers were able to flip multiple of those tables twice while we waited. I have an understanding of the industry having been a server myself and I felt like I did what I could as a patron but was still failed miserably. Now, leaving at 5:05 after having the one drink we got from the bar top and more than half the patio tables are still open. Unfortunate. Also, in trying to find understanding of the lack of service, I turned to Yelp reviews and saw the atrocious way the owner responded to some of the reviews and it was appalling to see. Thus, this review. Yikes. Do better.

I hope it was a bad night. We had 7 in our party and it took about 30 minutes for food delivery for the first three. Another 20 minutes for next two. Add thirty more for final two. Club sandwich and chicken wrap took over an hour. I m hoping it was just a bad night but I don t think I ll be back. Not impressed. Side note, Grapevine at Christmas is very busy so maybe that was why. I ve personally never experienced food coming out so sporadic and not together. Fajitas were delivered first. Just wanted to say that i have been to chill plenty of times and lately it had been pretty bad or mediocre service but this past thursday Julia was our waitress and she did such a good job to make up for the bad service from others in the past. She was the first waitress to ask if we needed anything after 2 or 3 others saw my group sitting waiting for service. She quickly got our drinks and asked us if we needed something to eat. I arrived at this bar looking for a good time and was met with deranged and disrespectful bartenders. I had a drink yanked out of my hand due to uncertainty of my id after the original bartender verified it. After talking to the manager he told me he was sorry about what had happened but let the bartender speak to me in a condescending manner.

Worst bartenders I ve ever had in my life. Absolutely disgusting and disrespectful. Have no respect or remorse for anyone that comes to their bar. They will scoff and laugh at you for a simple question. If any professional place cared about their business, they would train their bartenders to show respect to the customers.

This place has extremely disrespectful, unprofessional, and rude staff. The bartender falsely accused one of my friends for drinking, yet when the cameras showed proof that she didn t, there was no apology. Instead they proceeded to say we looked suspicious and that they did not want to baby us. NEVER will I go to this place again. If you want to feel unwelcomed and racially profiled come to this place.

Had the most horrific experience at this establishment and will never recommend this place to anyone. 1. Very unattentive staff to customers 2. Rude and very condescending tone when speaking to our group. After our waitress asked if wed like anything from the drink menu and us responding that we didnt need any alcoholic drinks, she immediately flipped her switch on us and continued to ignore our table. 3. We also got our food and we found hair in it so we were trying to see if we could get a new plate, but the waitress came and took the plate before we could get a picture and told us that she would bring out a new plate for us. 5 minutes later, she brought out a plate, but we could all tell it was the same exact plate and that she never even sent it back to be replaced. Stay away from this place! Youre much better off spending your hard earned money somewhere else. Absolutely disgusting establishment.

I never thought I would ever write a horrible review about any business but I ve never had such a horrible, disrespectful experience at a bar/restaurant. When I came in I ordered a round of shots for my friends. One of my friends forgot her ID so I ordered only enough for everyone else. The people who had their IDs took their shots. Almost immediately after, a bartender (who was not a manager) ran up to our table and said I saw her take a shot so you re done. I m tabbing you out. We went up immediately to the front and explained that our friend did not take a shot and they can check the CCTV. The manager comes up and asks what s wrong and we explain the situation very calmly, asking them to please check the CCTV to confirm our story. The staff all collects to the back and closes the door. After minutes, the manager comes out, doesn t apologize, tells us we must be guilty because we were looking back to the bar, doubled down and blamed us saying I don t want to babysit anyone. I saw one person in your group was newly 21. (We were actually celebrating my younger cousin s first drinking experience). I proceed to tell them we re all about 30 years old and are not wanting to have anyone babysit us he continues to tell us he doesn t want to babysit anyone and that we clearly looked guilty. It was absolutely clear they knew they were in the wrong because they would not look us in the eye after, yet tried to beckon us out the door with saying I already tabbed you out, you can leave . I am thoroughly disappointed in how unprofessional and unethical this establishment is and how they would not even admit their wrongdoing after seeing the clear proof that we did not do anything illegal or wrong. Overall, do not waste your time or money with this unprofessional and poorly managed establishment, who even after being proved wrong, still decided to make our night the worst.

If I can give 0 stars, I totally would! I ve been here several times but I won t be back anymore and I regret introducing a lot of my friends to this bar in the past. I was 1/6 of my friends that didn t have my ID so I asked if I could stay with my friends if I didn t drink and the bartenders kindly said yes. Not even 15 minutes have passed by since we ve been there, one of the bartenders came to our table and grabbed one of our cups and said saw you take a drink, closing you guys out in an aggressive tone and just walked away without handling it in a professional way considering this is a business and us customers expect up to par service (especially considering the location) unless this place is trash just like her lip injections and eyelash extensions. Long story short, I went up to confront her to let her know I didn t drink at all and would like her to pull up the cameras so she brought the manager (btw, I have my own business and I was so shock to find out she wasn t the manager because if I had my employees who isn t my manager speak like that to my employees, I d be horrified as an owner) handle the situation. After they went to the camera room and discuss what they had to discuss, all I have to say is, I m not sure if the manager and that specific bartender are having some sort of relationship behind close doors because he was defending her like his life depended on it AFTER checking the cameras. Rather apologizing for assuming, the manager said you guys were looking suspicious by looking at the bar like what?? How does that make sense?? So my friends and I left because it wasn t worth it at that point. Just say you were wrong bro and say you re wrong. I hope you guys find better staffing but I like the other bartender that doesn t look like she got hella face injections. Peace

One of the worse establishments I ve been to. There is definitely racial profiling at this bar as evident from my experience here. Me and a group of friends went for some drinks, and one of the girls had forgotten her ID. She did not drink and one of the bartenders claimed to have seen her take a shot with us. We were then asked to leave instantly. We had then spoken to the manager and told them that she did not drink. For proof, they checked the security cameras and saw that she indeed did not drink. No apology was made. They proceeded to ask us to leave still since we looked suspicious . Keep in mind, we were the only non white individuals. This action by the manager and the bar tender was extremely racially profiled. It sucked anyways. Do not come here if you want to be disrespected and have bland food.

Went for Sunday brunch... great deal on mimosas. Ordered a meat lovers and a vegetarian pizza. The crusts are prefab, but OK. Also ordered garlic brussel sprouts, came out cold. Finally got waitstaffs attention.... brought out a new order... soggy... gross. Not the best service.

We had a really fun time here!! We went for dinner and drinks and a lovely evening on the patio. We tried various dishes and here are the recommendations: chips and salsa and the skewers. We didnt love the quesadilla, the burger, or the cheese curds. We wish we had tried the chicken fried steak because it actually looked top tier!! The pricing was also pretty reasonable. The atmosphere was great and we would definitely go back again. One thing to note is that the service isnt the best but theyre nice people. For example, our waitress spilled a beer on my husbands phone when setting down our plates but it was clearly an accident and she was very apologetic. Parking: Parking is extremely tight, we ended up parking in the vin hotel garage.

I ve been coming here for several years and there s not much that beats the simplicity of this place. Food is above average. Good drink prices and the owner even took bud light off draft and added Michelob ultra. Thank god for the man that runs this place. He knows what he s doing and I ll forever be a patron of this place because of the product he delivers

Rude disgusting disrespectful staff. Came from out of town and thought this was a great little spot until we walked inside and received horrible service. Will NEVER RECOMMEND. Throughout the night the tables werent cleaned off so we started cleaning the table and was yelled at for cleaning our table! Nobody wants to sit at a dirty table that should have been maintained while we were there throughout the night.

Literally the only reason for a 4 star and not a 5 is because we were told when we ordered TO GO that they could not give us any RANCH to go with our WINGS! WHY??
