My first time visiting this beautiful place and unfortunately I see that it is very dirty wherever you walk. There are signs saying no alcoholic beverages at certain points and at those points you see people drinking. People leave their trash, dirty clothes, sandals and more. There is an entrance fee and I think it could be better maintained and there would be sanctions for people who do not respect it. Because unfortunately there are no sanctions for people without values and who are irresponsible, it makes it impossible to enjoy these beautiful places. Toilets: Having to go to the bathrooms is an odyssey, there is no toilet paper and they are very dirty and neglected.

Just awful, do NOT waist your time. Trash everywhere, fishing lures littered throughout the property, bathrooms are trashed.. and the list goes on. Save yourself some time and find another lake side area it would be worth your time or send it to someone you don t like

I recently visited Vicky Sunset Pointe and was absolutely captivated by its beauty. This spot is particularly stunning during sunset, offering breathtaking views that make it worth every moment. The park closes right after sunset, which is perfect timing to fully enjoy the serene atmosphere as the sun goes down. Entrance is $10, which is a reasonable fee for the experience you get. The environment is well-maintained, and it s a great place to relax, take photos, or just enjoy nature. Highly recommend visiting if youre looking for a peaceful and picturesque location to unwind.

Nice lake and park. Must have been a busy Sunday with all the trash. Its common sense to me not to have glass around water where kids swim. Bottles and bottle caps everywhere. Becareful.

Was here towards sunset at sunset and was lucky to catch a reasonably beautiful sunset. The park is only open until sundown anyway and because of the planes above us we had the park almost all to ourselves.

This area was vast plenty of room for our work picnic we played games like cricket had plenty of food from our Indian friends and family. Every thing I tried was amazing. By night everyone enjoyed fireworks

It is really beautiful to watch sunset from here. I guess the park closes after sunset. So, right after(like just 1-2 mins) sun falls below the horizon, the park people started blaring warnings that the park is closed. It is kind of bummer if youre here to spend your evening with someone special. And also, as other reviews mentioned the parking is not very clear. So just get creative.

The views were great across the lake. Having covered picnic table areas was fantastic in the heat on a sunny afternoon. However,, I was saddened to see a lot of trash laying around even though they had plenty of trash cans. Even worse, some folks think its okay to just dump there used grilling charcoal anywhere they please. I was taught you always want to leave a place better than you found it.

Google Maps will direct you down a road (sunfish?) that is gated, and closed, so you cannot access this place unless you park in the lot designated for boat trailers (vehicle tow warning posted for non trailers). After trying to find another way in to avoid being towed, we decided to park there since someone else did. It was around noon, on a Monday. Its an okay spot to see if youre from out of town looking for a place to view the lake, but it was dry & there was a lot of trash! There were covered picnic tables and a broken grill. I think the nicer areas are on the other side of the lake!

I didnt see where they had the box to pay $10 entrance fees, when we were leaving they asked us to show the receipt and locked us and didnt let us leave till we pay $20 cash without any receipt. Also it was just not us there were many other cars in the same position. They are running a scam. Please avoid this place.

Tried to leave the park around 9pmqr, and they locked us in. Their reasoning is that we had to pay to come in. No where did it say that we had to pay to go in or even a collection station. There were no signs put up. When we tried to pay with credit card they said they only take cash, and would not open the gate until we gave them the money. These people not only asked us to pay $20 to leave, but also never provided credentials when asked. Eventually the cops had to get involved before they let us out. DO NOT GO HERE. IT IS A SCAM.

Especially with the weather warming up and everything, Its a great place to be. There are some good places to bring some lunch and a group of good friends and family. There is plenty of parking. Bring your boats and jetskies, rafts and floaties. The water is nice and the skies are beautiful, so come out and lets have a blast and a splash
