Girlfriend and I had a little spontaneous dinner night and wow, what a great little find Hard Count was! The manager stopped by to say hello halfway through and our server Carolann was absolutely the best! Just the perfect amount of service, knowligible recommendations and overall on top of it. Its 1/2 off bottle service on Thursdays and live music in the courtyard on Fridays. She had the Smoked Sirloin Dip and I the Reuben - Both delicious choices and the fries are so good!. Make sure to let your server know if its your first time visiting ;) Kid-friendliness: courtyard out front

Best wings in town! Large and juicy. Very distinct flame-roasted flavor. Not very saucy (and Im a big sauce person) but thats only because the sauce is roasted onto the wing. Also, great service and atmosphere!

Upon walking in for Sunday brunch we were greeted with a smile from the gentleman cutting the prime rib. I believe his name is Trey? Treys excellence in cutting the prime rib was superb. Making sure we were satisfied with the cut and amount. As well as his commitment to excellence in service can not be overstated. My family and I will definitely be back and look forward to seeing Trey again. Thanks Trey youre the best!!!

This is truly a beautiful restaurant. Owned by the 2020 scratch kitchen but in my opinion the food is better here. The cocktails were great. We were addressed entering the restaurant and felt very welcomed. Room for large parties. The parmesan chicken was fabulous. The fish and chips were great. The lemons are grilled a great touch. The tartar sauce that I never eat is great here and I actually loved it. This area in Georgetown is domain-like without the hipster vibe but a small town Texas vibe.

I have not had the kind of great service and food that we had tonight in quite some time. Ricky went above and beyond to make the evening a celebration. The fish and chips were amazing and his service was five star. If you havent eaten here, you need to. The food is all fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is relaxing. This is my new favorite, non Mexican food restaurant in GT.

Delicious food was in the buffet but it was just barely warm. They brought us some hot food (waffle, eggs, a biscuit) from kitchen. I guess the sterno flames went out or weren t lit, according to the manager. The $25 Buffet price does NOT include coffee or anything! Total per person with tax was over $30! I guess our waitress was busy - we didn t see her very often. We were told we could park at the Sheraton s garage at no charge. Parking: Sheraton Hotel garage had specially marked spaces limited to fuel-efficient vehicles on the first level left entrance.

My husband and I were in the area for a Valentines Day dinner, and we decided to have an after-dinner drink at Hard Count. We entered the restaurant and asked if we could have our drinks outside, and the hostess said we could go to the patio and order drinks there. We went to the patio and stood at the outdoor bar (it is a window with a counter connected to the main restaurant) and waited. There were two bartenders inside, but neither greeted us, acknowledged us, or looked our way. I could understand this if the place was swarming with people, but the restaurant seemed to be only half-full at the time. There were no drink menus on the counter; there were several sticky rings on the counter from old drinks, which had not been wiped clean. A female bartender came over to me after a few minutes and asked me what I would like to order (it was very businesslike; there was no warm greeting, no friendly Happy Valentines Day, no small talk or mention of what the specials were). I squinted at the taps in the bar and saw they had a Pinthouse Pizza beer on draft; I asked if it was Electric Jellyfish and she said yes, so I ordered one for my husband and one for myself. She asked if we were going to sit in the patio area or going outside of the patio area to the small courtyard (where there was a live performer). I told her we would sit in the patio; she got us our drinks and I closed out my tab. I asked her if we were allowed to take out drinks to the courtyard if we wished, and she said yes, but shed need to put our beers into plastic glasses. We sat down at one of the high tables in the patio and listened to the performer. Our table had clearly not been cleaned for a while; though there were no drink glasses on it, there were (as on the bar countertop) the telltale rings of old drinks not yet wiped away. The patio had nice ambiance, though no servers came to check in on us or ask us if we needed anything. My husband started coughing and I wanted to get a glass of water for him, so I went to the outdoor bar area to ask for one. The female waitress was just leaving the bar with a tray of drinks, but I saw an older male bartender at the farthest end of the bar making a drink, so I decided to go inside and ask him for a glass of water directly instead of waiting around at the outside bar until someone noticed me. I went inside the restaurant and walked over to where the older male bartender was standing. He was in deep conversation with an older male customer who was sitting at the end of the bar. I politely asked the bartender, Excuse me, may I please have a glass of water? Without a word, without acknowledgement, without any shred of congeniality, the bartender silently got a glass from behind the bar, filled it with ice and water, and handed to me. Thanks so much, I told him. Nothing; no response; not even any eye contact. He resumed his story with his chum, pretending I wasnt there. He made me feel like I was an annoyance to him: a little gnat to be shooed away. An imposition. A bother. This restaurant was actually one I had planned on having dinner at in the future, but after the way I was ignored and sneered at, I wont be back here again.

This continued and we ended up just leaving after being ignored. Very disappointing.

Vegetarian options: Hey, yall! Lets see where shall I begin. The ambiance of the restaurant is quite nice. There is plenty of seating and plenty of televisions to watch sporting events. The womens restroom was relatively clean despite there being paper towels thrown all over the floor near the trash bin. There is a nice outdoor seating area, which will be even more enjoyable when the weather isnt 100 degrees. A pleasant little area for the kids to run around and a small stage where there is live music. We went on a Saturday night and were able to be seated right away. Alright, so we began with spicy margaritas ($11), and they were quite tasty. We all tried different items off the menu. Lets talk about the menu it isnt very large and kinda all over the place. Theres pasta, Tex Mex food, seafood, and a large burger/sandwich section. We all tried something different. The special was a steak, truffles potatoes, and broccoli (our friend substituted the broccoli for onion rings). The onion rings were pretty tasty, and the truffle potatoes were AH-MAZING. Sadly, the steak was so full of gristle that he was only able to eat 1/2 of the steak. My friend and I shared the Chicken Picccata pasta. It was very flavorful. We also had a side of asparagus, which consisted of 5 pieces and lack flavor. Lastly, my significant other had chicken fajitas. The portion size honestly could be shared, yet it lacked in taste. The beans are served on top of the rice. If you are a person who likes all your food separate, beware. Overall, the food was just ok for the taste. Our waiter was phenomenal and the manager was very nice. They did take the steak off the check even though we didnt ask. Im glad we tried it.

I then asked for several different drinks and he said they cant make those either. I was pointed to a menu of drinks and he suggest I order something from there. I will return though. The chef had a Cajun stuffed chicken and shrimp that was amazing. I also loved several other things Ive tried. Queso with the homemade chips is heavenly.

I go there all the time and just about everything I ve eaten there is wonderful especially the Lockhart quail. I think it used to be called the bourbon quail and my husband always gets chicken piccata and it s always excellent. I usually like to get the brunch when I first started going there, you had a chicken fried pork chop with grits it was delicious so I tried the chicken fried steak it was horrible. It s a little bit chewy more breading than meat and the gravy is usually really good cause I get it at breakfast on my biscuits. But I don t know if they ve changed it or have a different chef, but it s not good instead of having chicken fried steak, I would bring back the. Chicken fried pork chop or get a better quality of meat for the chicken fried steak and please bring back your good gravy!

Service and atmosphere was great. However the food not so much. We started with the Diablo calamari when I see Diablo I think spice it was not. It was some red soupy sauce that my husband and I didn t care for and we didn t finish the appetizer as the calamari itself was not good either. My husband got the enchiladas. The enchiladas themselves were good however everything else just lacked flavor. I got my son the Mac and cheese and when I say I took a bite and laughed . No salt no pepper just no nothing. I m not sure if it s that way cause it s a kid item but wow. I got what I believe it s called one eyed burger and it was good until what I tasted like what I believed to be Dijon mustard. Now this could have been lack of reading the description on my part but with every bite I was hit a strong taste of just Dijon. Usury things like ketchup andmustard are on the side if needed. And finally the fries were a little too crispy for my liking. We may come back to try the drinks buts it s a no for me on the food.

This used to be a favorite spot before the menu change. Came in to try out the new menu and you can taste the quality of the food went down while the prices went up. Specifically referring to their lemon pepper fries and their fish & chips entree of which used to be my favorite. The lemon pepper fries and ranch fries used to be the and now they taste like frozen fries from a grocery story. The fish tasted mostly like fried batter and the pieces are so small now. Service was great as usual but sad to see the change in the food. Not worth the money considering how pricey the dishes are. Extremely disappointed.

My husband and I used to call this our go to sports bar. We loved to go there to watch our favorite teams play and enjoy the good food and drinks. I feel like it changed since they renovated. It is no longer a sports bar but rather a bar that has some tvs with a game or two on. We went there on a Saturday evening when basketball playoffs were on and when some baseball should have been playing instead they had just basketball, the local weekend news, and some repetitive golf channel that was playing interviews. We asked multiple times if they could change it to ANY baseball game and they couldn t figure their system out (even the manager and owner - or maybe they didn t want to ). We would have stayed longer and spent more had there been more games on Hopefully things are figured out for football season

We arrived about 6:30 to a half full house. Starting with appetizers we had the following: Battered buttons: deep fried mushrooms, what made this was the Serrano ranch to dip them in, or else it would not have been anything special. These did go fast at our table. Oyster Rockerfellar: huge! Did I mention Huge oysters? For only getting six, I thought they would be small, but they were huge. GOOD: spinach topping and bacon. BAD: not enough spinach, bacon or Panko bread crumbs. I liked these oysters except it seemed like someone double peppered them or placed too much of a hot spice in the mixture? I love a good oyster rockerfellar, but on a scale of 1-10 I would give it a 7. The Lockhart Quail and chicken and bacon quesadillas could be considered a meal in themselves! The Lockhart Quail was tender and the bourbon-jalapeño bacon jam I could not get enough of! In fact I ate the leftover jam off the plate! Chicken Quesadilla was well appointed and again, a meal in itself! Lots of chicken and the sauce drizzled on the top was appropriate for the amount that you received. One of my dining friends had this and was full. Meals: I had the Prime rib dip and the sandwich just melted in your mouth even without the au ju! The hoagie bun was so soft and the meat so tender I could cut with a fork. The seasoned fries were outstanding with this and again, I could not get enough of them. I Highly recommend the prime rib dip. My two dinner partners had the fish and chips. Now not bragging, but if your from Wisconsin you know a few things about a fish fry, especially if it is good or bad. I had some and agreed with my dinner companions, the coating was just way too thick and the fish had no real taste unless you brought on the tarter sauce or vinegar with it. In fact, both my companions did not even finish their last of four strips of fish. Not because it was too much, but they could not handle the thick batter and none fish taste. We loved the many TV s and the bartenders looked like they were always busy making a specialty cocktail. The bathroom was very clean, spacious and well appointed. They have garage style doors to let the outside in and have outdoor dining which shows in one of my pictures. Their is also bean bag toss games out in courtyard to keep you, your family or your date occupied between craft cocktails, beer or unique food. So why give 5 stars instead of 4? Because not able to give 4.5 stars which I would of given this place. The food needs tweaking and no major overhaul. The majority of the food or preparation was awesome. Our waitress Mariah made sure our water or beer glasses were full. She was very polite and always said yes sir, no sir which is rare in a younger generation and appreciated. Ask for Mariah to be your waitress if you come here!

We had an early dinner here on Easter Sunday and it was wonderful! The food was delish and Tyler took great care of us. We started with fried pickles, because we consider ourselves amateur connoisseurs . They were fun to eat and def recommend. My husband ordered the fish and chips (the tartar sauce is amazing), youngest ordered their classic burger, oldest ordered chicken piccata and I had the chicken enchiladas. All were thoroughly enjoyed. Loved the calm vibe and the wait staff was great

Fine dining meets sports bar food? Was good, just felt like the place couldnt pick what it wanted to be. I definitely suggest the HC queso. It was delicious with the chili lime tortadas. Its a little on the pricey side, but it is like gourmet bar food. Also a plus for me, the bar had my favorite scotch.

Very disappointed with the booths very tight with narrow tables with all of us stomachs squeezed against table, had 2 children with us and only one place for high chair on the end. We asked for a table but they said they had a reservation for one open table the table stayed unused through out entire time there. The waiter actually had us pass the plates and drinks down to the inside folks. Has that ihop feel. It was nice and open before could bring large group to watch games etc and pull some table s together. Not sure why they did this. The high top tables are not set up for children.

Got the bacon jam burger. The patty tasted like a preformed frozen patty, maybe worth like $7 bucks max not $15. The waffle fries were served cold and dense. The server was attentive but maybe should have asked some questions when they took my plate and it clearly had 2 bites taken out of it and fries intact. But more so, shame on the kitchen manager.

Hands down the worst experience I ve had for a DoorDash order. When delivered, more than 50% of the order was missing and our drinks were spilled in the bags (order was more than $250). Both DoorDash and the restaurant said that it wasn t their problem, and the manager at Hard Count was beyond rude. Furthermore, the food we did get was unappetizing. The fish and chips caused people to get food poisoning and the prime rib dip that I had was one of the worst I ve ever had and I couldn t finish it (that s a hard sandwich to screw up). In summation, I will never order or eat at that restaurant again, and will discourage others to eat there as well.

We had lunch there today and it was very disappointing. Weve been going there since they first opened and always had great food, but not today. First, we ordered margaritas that included black pieces (fruit flies). They were quickly replaced and we again found the same issue. The chicken enchiladas were delicious, but my wifes fish & chips were soggy and undercooked. Even when she showed the waitress the wet plate and asked for new ones, the replacements werent much better and the dish was returned with cold chips. When the bill came, we were charged for 1 margarita even though we didnt drink it. We asked to speak to the manager and she removed the drink from our bill. We also told her that we were disappointed in the fish and chips because they were undercooked and the chips were cold when the order was redone. She thought the batter was floppy because it was no longer hot. We paid for the food, but it was poorly cooked and the manager didnt handle our concerns properly.
