My Friday lunch buddies and I came here yesterday for our lunch break. We all loved it. One of the group asked to come here to get a taste of North Indian food. He grew up eating N. Indian food but Plano, ever since the telecom boom of the late nineties, has been dominated by Andara and Tamil places. He loved it and suggested that we put it on the rotation. I also thought the food and service were excellent. Myself and another guy had the chicken masala and agreed it was delish. He, a brit by birth, kept saying how full flavored it was. By this, he meant it wasnt just hot, but you could taste the full spectrum of spices. I agree it was among the best I have had in years of frequenting Indian restaurants. Our other friend, an Andara person by birth who is a great cook himself, had a chicken vindaloo that he also agreed was fantastic and flavorful. Vegetarian options: Its not all vegetarian so I know at least one really picky vegetarian who would be uncomfortable here, but there are plenty of veg options.

Craving chicken tikka and this place was the best I ve ever had! It s well seasoned and the sauce tasted real fresh. I think they accidentally gave me extra hot instead of hot, but I was not disappointed! The garlic naan was fluffy and fresh.

Food was decent. Unfortunately it was in Small quantities relative to price. Price was expensive. Therefore probably will not come back. Having said that I had to give a decent tip which I did. Had price been a little cheaper I might have given a little bit bigger tip. Its advised that youre the budget correctly if you wish to go to this establishment. The atmosphere is beautiful its a beautiful restaurant but the price was way too high in the quantity was way too little and in the end while the service was pretty good that also matters.

During a recent lunchtime visit to Tandoori Flame, I was the only patron, which was surprising. The restaurant, specializing in North Indian cuisine, offers a pleasant ambiance and attentive service. I chose the Non-Veg Thali, which arrived promptly and was well-presented. The Butter Chicken was excellent, with rich, flavorful gravy and tender meat. The Garlic Naan was soft and enjoyable. However, the rice was just average, and the Tandoori Chicken tasted stale, which was disappointing. Despite the good aspects of the food and service, the empty dining room and the inconsistency in dish quality are concerns. Tandoori Flame has potential, but these issues need to be addressed to attract more customers.

Yes, they mix their own spices. Yes, they choose to use locally sourced meat. Yes, everything on the menu is absolutely delectable what their chef does to elevate the humble lentil is absolutely magical. But there s something more about the food here that always leaves us with a feeling of nourishment and well being. Maybe it s the love and passion that they put into their dishes. Everything served here is made from scratch, including their fabulous garlic naan bread. We keep coming back for the tandoori chicken, but we haven t had anything yet that we don t love. Did I mention that Tandoori Flame is also byob? It s another bit of value and hospitality that we appreciate. Simple surroundings, casual atmosphere, warm service, amazing food. It s a hidden gem.

Big fan of the flavorful dishes that Tandoori Flame serves! The owners are so kind and willing to explain dishes to us so we can make decisions about things weve never tried before. Its our new favorite spot to take friends, especially friends who havent had the pleasure of trying Indian food. My husband and I like spicy food, and the heat added by the green chutney is so perfect. For our friends who prefer no heat we just order kid spice level and its great. We really appreciate the service that we get every single visit. Samosas are one of my favorite foods, so I really enjoy the samosas chaat. Their desserts are really yummy too. Homemade pistachio ice cream is a must try!

Tandoori Flame is a fantastic spot, they definitely live up to being an authentic northern Indian cuisine restaurant. They serve food you would mainly see from the state of Punjab, and they do a damn good job at it. As a fellow Punjabi person, I had to check them out. I highly recommend checking out their lunch special, Pictured below is the lunch special. I got garlic naan, with raita (yogurt), butter chicken, paneer and Gulab jamun all for $15 bucks. This is a dine in only deal, which I had no problem with since the inside of the restaurant is calm, clean, and an excellent dining experience. For my vegetarians out there. Try out there samosa chaat, these guys do a great job with the heat level too. You definitely get a kick out of the food but it s not over bearing. Very impressed with this place, go try it out for yourself!

This restaurant deserves to stick around. The vegetable samosas were the best I ve ever had tender, flaky, and perfectly spiced filling with very complementary sauces. My mom got the Chicken Masala which had a deeply satisfying texture and pepperyness to the sauce that made me wish I ordered it. Much has been said about their garlic naan, and believe me: it s worth every bit of praise. So thin and crisp. The prices were fair and our server really cared about our experience. You can tell they want this place to last in this very uncertain time for local businesses. The ambiance and decor were charming from the glistening chandelier in the center to the Spongebob mural next to the bathroom. The cook times were fast and they seemed to be quite on top of to-go orders. I will be coming back. You will be, too.

I have been here several times and each time I have tried a new dish. All of the main courses have been great. They grind all of their spices in the kitchen, which gives their dishes very vibrant flavor. They use Gee butter in their recipes, a much healthier alternative to the highly processed seed oils you find everywhere. The spice levels are as advertised, mild is mild and hot is India hot, I like medium. One area of improvement would be the appetizers, they are just okay and a bit overpriced for the quantity. The atmosphere is your common strip mall setup. It is clean and open. The service is standard but always friendly and inviting.

My new favorite Indian restaurant! Tonight was my first time trying Tandoori Flame in Garland, and I highly recommend it. My girlfriend and I shared the Manchurian Veggie Momos as an appetizer and they were delicious, they were nicely crisp dumplings filled with minced veggies and a very flavorful sauce. I then had the Lamb Shahi Korma for an entree and thought the meat was cooked perfectly and covered with a creamy sauce with a touch of spice, which was good. I ask for medium spice but I think Ill up the spice level next time to add a little more heat. But overall, I give it a thumbs up! Everything we had was amazing and I will definitely be returning soon and I encourage you to try it out also!

Today I took a take away.For the price they charged me it was good for a five year old . Compared to other Indian restaurants. Only reason I went there it is in my neighborhood. The food was wayy to overpriced and barely filling, the portion are small and the rice was very dry and was just falling apart. It was just the worst rice I have ever eaten. Also while I was eating the server kept staring at me intensely and I felt uncomfortable as if they are judging me, but the main issue is still the crazy high price for small portion. Im sorry, but I would just spend 15$ on an entree somewhere else that doesnt come with a small bowl of curry and small plate of rice plus the naan was 3$ extra and it felt more of a flat bread than anything. I went to tandoori flame restaurant the food was amazing best food in the town complements to the chef mani and the whole staff.the service was great and friendly. the atmosphere of the restaurant was also so amazing.I love balti speciality chicken dhamaka balti is my favourite dish with garlic naam.I recommend to everyone I love tandoori flame and going back soon thanks for everything

I was in town visiting a dear friend to help her plan her wedding and she recommended we order delivery from this place as she loves it and she knows I enjoy Indian food. It was a perfect fit for an easy Friday night dinner after a long day of travel! Im not sure if this restaurant offers delivery or if she just used DoorDash. And given that it was delivery, I cant speak to the atmosphere (the chandelier looks beautiful in photos though!) or the service, though I will say our order was correct and delivered quickly! To accommodate all the bridesmaids and family members present, we got two orders of butter chicken, two orders of chicken tikka masala, one chicken josh, and one lamb rogan josh, with butter naan to share. About 6 cartons of rice came with our order. Everything we got was solid! I tasted everything except the lamb -- not a huge fan of lamb. Portions were comparable to other Indian restaurants Ive had carryout from in the past. Only one dish - the tikka masala - had even a hint of spice to it, even though Im pretty sure my friend ordered everything at medium heat. Who knows, though, she mightve asked for mild just to ensure everyone was comfortable. I did think the butter naan was a little on the dry side, but nothing a soak in some sauce couldnt fix. Overall, I liked the tikka masala the best, then the chicken josh, then the butter chicken. Butter chicken was a little on the sweet side for me. Still, if I lived in the area, I would certainly keep this place in mind as a good option for Indian food!

We have been there for lunch & ordered tandoori chicken, butter chicken & malai kofta with butter naan. Butter chicken was OK but tandoori chicken was not marinated. It was served without any marination & with lots of food color. Malai kofta was not fresh, it was stale & sour in taste. Like it was made many days ago. We heard that they serve naan baked in clay oven but the naans they serve us were made on tava.They had used food color in chutney as well. We were overall disappointed with our experience at tandoori flame.

The food was really good. I met the owner Mr. Mani. He was really down to earth and very nice and explained some of the dishes. We really liked our food and will definitely be back. Looking forward to trying one of their sizzling skillet dishes on our next visit. Its an easy 5 STARS from me.

Stopped by for dinner. Their paneer Balti was out of this world and a must try. Large quantity as well. Nice ambience with a combination of rustic paintings and modern chandeliers and furniture. Found the owner and service personnel very friendly as well. Its not the cheapest of places, but you get your moneys worth - good quality food, good quantity, nice ambience and good service. I was surprised to see such a nice place in Garland. Vegetarian options: Their paneer dishes and stuffed kulchas were awesome!

The food here is amazing. The service was great, I went with my grandma and she had a conversation with one of the waiters. The waiter was very nice about all the questions.(She asked a lot of questions) The atmosphere was really nice, but it wasnt super fancy.(which is good) Overall it was great.

I took my son here to introduce him to Indian food and the butter chicken pretty much changed his life. Everything we ordered was delicious. We asked for not spicy and the food was not spicy...just flavorful and delicious. I think this is a great place to go if you want to try Indian food but arent sure about it. We will definitely be coming back and trying other items....but we will be dreaming about that heavenly butter chicken.

Years ago I worked for a Pakistani couple who treated me like family and would bring me homemade dal. This is the best Ive had since then! Vindaloo was as good as any Ive had in the world, and the chili momos were fantastic. I overpaid by ordering through GrubHub and it was worth every penny.

Ordered a bunch of food for me and my family & when I picked it up I brought my 2 young girls they were very friendly and were so kind and gave my girls a smoothie to try and made sure they werent allergic to anything in it! We will definitely be back! Great customer service! If I could give this place no star I would! I place my order at 6:30, they said it will take 30/40 min. They have an option to pay in store or pay online!!! I literally wait over a hour, in & out the store waiting. They keep saying the order it not ready, just for the guy at the front to tell me after the 3rd time of coming in some white lady took my food because I didn t pay online! Why have the option to pay online if you going to do that! I call to get an understanding because I m a regular customer just so the guy to hang up in my face! Very unprofessional, I will not be coming back to this location since that s how they treat customers!!!!

Awesome place for Dine in Awesome ambiance and specially vegetarian food with medium plus spicy. They have great option and different curry which make everything much more delicious I love this place. We ordered Gobi Manchurian, Paneer Chilli in starter and Main course with Malai Kofta and Mashroom masala. All these things are awesome. The food quality is terrible, I ordered Tandoori Chicken, Veg Biryani, Dal Tadka and Garlic Naan. Except for naan, nothing was good, Tandoori Chicken was not even Tandoori as it was baked in a conventional oven, for a Restaurant which has Tandoor in its name and then not to serve authentic food is not acceptable. The veg biryani looked and tasted terrible, the Dal Tadka was reheated and served did not taste fresh at all, as no fresh tadka was done. Naan is the only thing which barely passed the muster. Service was good. Overall a very bad experience. Dont go by reviews, seems to be fake reviews. Not recommended.

I have picked up butter chicken and garlic naan to go multiple times. The medium hot brings out some noises in me but it s well worth it. Food has always been super fresh. Restaurant is clean and usually a number of tables full. Highly recommend.

This is the 2nd visit. We didnt try tandoori first time, which is why we returned. The tandoori chicken is delicious but it didnt come with rice or naan. The lamb karara baltic is very flavorful. I wish it is lighter on salt though. Note that they serve thin naans. Perhaps a good thing because I assume it is less carb but for those who like thick fluffy naan, including me, you will be disappointed. Nonetheless, the tandoori is superb!

First time at Tandoori Flame. We had the appetizer Alu Tikki which was tasty but a bit oily. Garlic naan was great with the Palaak Paneer and the Dahl Makhani dishes. Palaak Paneer was delicious, and the Dahl Makhani was almost too spicy yet lots of flavor. We will definitely go again. My husband and I stopped here to try the butter chicken and man, we were not disappointed! The vegetable samosas with mint sauce and tamarind chutney were delectable and the garlic Naan complemented our entrées perfectly. Husband had the lamb byriani and I had the butter chicken; both were sumptuous. Needless to say, we will be back soon. Oh, and our toddler screamed for the first 10 minutes and no one complained as we tried to get him situated and entertained.
