Had an enjoyable time at Jiggers after a long day out at the pool. Husband and I were looking for live music and drinks. The band was entertaining and the people watching was interesting. No food was ordered but drinks were good and service/attentiveness of staff was excellent. Crowd was mature but entertaining. Appreciate no smoking allowed. Only downside; club was freezing.

I was sitting at a table by pool with my 7 year old daughter. We were the only Hispanic customers there. Every table had a paper menu. I asked for a menu and he pointed at the numbers by the launch chairs and said could scan those to get a menu. The waiter looked Mexican. It goes to show he treats white people than his own culture. The white lady on the table next to me (another customer) got up from her chair an gave me her menu. That was very touching. You should fire rude waiters like that. I was paying $300.00 a night during weekend a holiday inn, but this experience left me with a bad memory about Texas.

We most recently stayed at the Holiday Inn that BJiggers is in. It was for our 5th year in a row to celebrate New Years at BJiggers, but weve been going there for 30 years. Sometimes its just to have a drink on a Saturday afternoon or after having lunch in Galveston during the week.

Great place to hear live music. $8 NZ Sauv Blanc with generous pour. I went solo and felt very safe. Lots of gals out on dance floor to join. 3Spot Band played a great variety- Beatles, CCR, Edgar Winter, ZZTop, Prince, Gin Blossoms, disco and so much more. Thoroughly enjoyed myself! I didn t eat but a couple near me shared wings and they smelled delicious! Robert & Luis great bartenders! I ll go again!

It s the restaurant next to the hotel. It s LOUD inside. We order the drinks and maybes it s just a bar but they weren t to friendly. So we didn t go back. The drinks were ehhh. I ve had better. The fact you can take your drinks to the pool and chill was cool. Other than that go somewhere else for food or bring your own drinks poolside. Live band was entertaining. However - Whole lounge was freezing cold so all customers are in hoodies or jackets while eating. People would drink more if it s warm inside instead of the AC going. Windows are covered in moisture anyway so no reason for them to be as high as it is. Everyone s fries, calamari, onion rings were cold when arrived. Chicken for salad wasn t added and took 30 Min to get back out after everyone was done eating. Diet coke was flat- might need some carbonation. Lol Our server was good- so it s not on him. He did a great job. But def need some tweaks for the place to get more stars after a generous 2 stars. My family is too nice to say anything- but as visitors where everything is 30% more with exchange it s disappointing. So it s as constructive criticism so you can improve with so many visitors coming thru.

We go on Thursdays to see The Line Up, a local band that plays the gamut of musical styles...and do it well! Food is available and is delicious and reasonably priced. Drinks are at an affordable price point as well. Wait staff, especially Jay, are friendly and attentive. Always has a smile. Just a suggestion...bring a seat cushion if you have trouble sitting on hard chairs for any length of time.

We went in there 3 nights are n a row this week while we were staying at the hotel. Jay, Maddie, and another lady who worked on Wednesday night 09/07/22 and everyone we met that works there goes above and beyond for their customers. When the hotel staff would not get my wife milk for our room for coffee, they sent us to Maddie and she gladly delivered what the hotel staff would not. My wife and I are here on vacation at a Holiday Inn Club Vacation resort a little further south, and decided to stop here for dinner and entertainment. The staff here are very friendly, our food was prepared well and was delicious. Bartender made the drinks good and the entertainment, karaoke, was a blast. Will definitely visit here or even stay at this resort in the future.

Went to Jiggers for the first time today looking to have a margarita after a long walk in the hot sun and looking to watch the Astros game. VANCE the bartender was SUPER nice and served up a great margarita and he switched the TV to the Astros vs Yankees game. I then had the surprisingly delicious shrimp quesadillas. I highly recommend them. The serving was so generous I had a hard time finishing them but they were hot and exquisite. The Astros ended up pitching a combined No-Hitter in The Bronx, so it was an excellent outing in every way. I just recently moved to the Island and this place is definitely worth a return visit.

NO COFFEE? REALLY? Although there is a restaurant in the building (which they can borrow coffee from sometimes), there is NO coffee in the lounge. Who knows? Maybe they never have a person needing coffee before they drive home. Maybe the bar never heard of the popularity of Irish Coffee on St. Patricks Day (which this was), or how people love Baileys and coffee when they are in a sea mist type city. Otherwise, 5-Stars lounge as Emily was a great waitress and the band was good (but way too long of breaks). This is far more critical and detailed than I normally write in a review.

My wife and l always have a good time here. There is a culture of dancing and being care free. Service was great. Add the live music and you can sign us up for another 10yrs. FUN LIVE MUSIC AND DANCING IN GALVESTON Fun place to see live music and go dancing. I went for NYE celebration with the Mambo Jazz Kings as the entertainment and it was really fun. The staff handling the tickets (Rhonda, Stan and Brandon) were very professional and easy to work with. I really appreciated their upbeat attitudes! There is a dance floor to enjoy and easy access to the pool patio which has a cozy seating area with elegant gas fire pits to enjoy...even in December.
