I fell in love with this place the first time I came here. I come here very often for brunch and I noticed how Cowboy Quinoa has changed the way it was presented. Chef used to lay each ingredients out and looked so delicious and tasted amazing. Ever since they changed to all ingredients mixed up like chipotle it wasnt as good anymore :(. It tastes different too. Wish it goes back to the original version.

We had a nice experience for a weekend family brunch. The shaded outdoor seating is perfect for Dallas summers and overlooks the PGA golf course. The food, service, and valet were all great. I recommend the avocado toast.

Dietary restrictions: Not a lot of GF options. GF bread available upon request but wouldve liked to see more dishes designed to be GF. Kid-friendliness: Very kind to our kids. Brought them coloring sheets/menus and humored their many questions and comments. Kids menu was adequate for sure.

We arrived at 10:45am on a Sunday and were told theres a 20-30 minute wait. We decided to eat at the bar for immediate seating. Once inside, we noticed there were only 5 or 6 tables seated in the entire restaurant. While looking over the breakfast menu, the bartender snatched the menu from my hand and told me breakfast was over, and theyre now on lunch. She said it was the chefs call to cut off breakfast. We opted for the buffet since that was the only way to get any type of breakfast items. Poor service and poor customer service.

My family came for dinner this evening. We arrived at 6pm, placed our order around 6:30 and my husband didn t get his food that we ordered at 6:30 until 9pm. We ended up taking our food to-go bc after so long, we had to take our child home for bed. Our waiter was fantastic. Very kind and apologetic for the slow service but overall it was just not a good experience. The manager even came and apologized which we appreciated, we even proceeded to order a dessert. 45 minutes later, it never came and we had no choice but to remove it from the bill. We watched other families come and go with prompt service while we waited for hours. Unfortunately we have no plans to return and do not recommend this restaurant.

Today four of us headed to the Apron Kitchen & Bar for lunch. Our server, Josh, was excellent, informed and knowledgeable about the menu. Our entrees were perfectly prepared and the view of the incredible golf properties was beautiful and relaxing. Each entree we ordered was perfect. We stayed over 3 hours and were graciously visited by the staff wanting to know if we were satisfied with our visit. Go. go! Pat Jasper

Came here for breakfast and it was amazing. Pretty views of the course and windows made it bright and welcoming. Enjoyed the atmosphere and my breakfast tacos were flavorful, hot, and delicious! The potatoes on the side were full of flavor. My blueberry açaí smoothie was delicious and consistency was perfect. Our waitress, Lisa was exceptional. She was engaging and friendly! My only con would be parking. Everything is paid parking or valet parking. So I suggest to bring cash. It is complimentary with a voucher from the restaurant, however wish there was parking available for the restaurant or additional guest parking.

You are simply the best! Parking: We had no trouble finding a place to park.

The ambiance was beautiful, with a lovely outdoor area for the kiddos to run around. Matt, Owen and others deserve recognition.

Nestled in the heart of Frisco, Texas, The Apron at the Omni Resort offers an unforgettable dining experience that combines gourmet cuisine, picturesque surroundings, and a touch of unexpected kindness. As avid food enthusiasts and Frisco locals, my partner and I recently embarked on a culinary adventure to The Apron, and our journey was nothing short of extraordinary. A Memorable Stroll and a Random Act of Kindness One sunny afternoon, we decided to walk over to The Apron from our house, eager to indulge in some delectable dishes. The scenic route was delightful, but halfway through our journey, an unexpected twist awaited us. A cheerful golf cart driver offered us a ride, which not only spared us from a 20-30 minute walk but also left us touched by the kindness of strangers. This random act of generosity set the tone for our entire visit and made us even more excited about our dining experience. A Feast Fit for Foodies Upon arriving at The Apron, we were greeted by a warm and welcoming ambiance. The restaurants rustic yet elegant décor created a perfect backdrop for the culinary delights that awaited us. We had quite an appetite, so we may have over-ordered, but every dish was a revelation of flavor. We kicked off our gastronomic journey with the Butchers Board, a delightful assortment of cheese and charcuterie paired with citrus-marinated olives and lavosh crackers. The combination of flavors and textures on the board was a testament to the chefs attention to detail and commitment to using high-quality ingredients. One dish that stole the spotlight was the Champignons, a heavenly creation featuring taleggio, wild mushrooms, prosciutto, arugula, and truffle. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, and the earthy aroma of truffle lingered in the air, leaving us craving for more. It quickly became my favorite, and I couldnt help but savor every bite. Another delightful surprise was the grilled chicken kebabs served with vegetable couscous and herb yogurt. The chicken was tender and succulent, perfectly complemented by the fragrant couscous and refreshing yogurt sauce. It was a dish that balanced indulgence with freshness, and we relished every forkful. A Dining Experience to Remember What sets The Apron apart is its commitment to excellence. The restaurants dedication to providing a memorable dining experience is evident in every aspect, from the attentive service to the carefully curated menu. As of the time of this article, there is no dress code at The Apron, allowing diners to choose whether they want to dress up for a special occasion or keep it casual for a relaxed evening out. For those interested in exploring the menu further or making reservations, you can find more information on The Aprons official website: The Apron at Omni Resort Frisco. However, I recommend checking the website for the most up-to-date information on hours of operation, as they may vary depending on the season. A Slice of History As we savored our sumptuous meal at The Apron, we couldnt help but wonder about the history of this charming establishment. While details may vary, the Omni Resort in Frisco is a part of a larger development that includes a PGA golf course and other amenities, making it a sought-after destination for both travelers and locals. This resort is not only a place to stay but also a culinary haven where The Apron stands as a testament to fine dining in Frisco. In Conclusion As the sun set over Frisco, we couldnt help but reflect on our memorable dining experience at The Apron. Its a place where foodies can indulge in exceptional dishes, where strangers can brighten your day with an act of kindness, and where the ambiance is as inviting as the cuisine. So, whether youre a local looking for a special night out or a traveler seeking a taste of Friscos culinary scene, The Apron is a destination that promises to leave you with a smile and a satisfied palate. #lifeafteradulting #theapron #pgafrisco #omnipga

If you have the opportunity to come here for breakfast please ask for/request Lisa! She is incredible, caring, has the best recommendations, and is what everyone desires in service! Lisa made each morning special with her polite charming spirit and even gave me a recommendation for dinner (Red Fish) that I came back for and it was so delicious. Breakfast tacos are a must if you re enjoying breakfast but believe you can t go wrong. One of my favorite quotes, when you re good at something, you tell people. I came to the Omni PGA resort in Frisco Texas for a conference and decided to grab a quick bite at The Apron when my plans at the pool got derailed by the bar being unexpectedly closed. I ordered a burger and fries and they were quite good. The restaurant was not busy but the few that were there looked happy and my waitress was excellent though I cannot recall her name at the moment. Will I be back? I certainly don t plan to return unless there is an event I need to attend. But if you are in the area, give this place a try. It s better than the other options around. Great Atmosphere, Great Drinks, Great Service. However, the Flank Steak with Veggies needs some work. Needs seasoning or a sauce to make the flavors go better together with the meat. It was cooked to the right temperature but no seasoning. Even salt and pepper would go a long way. Potatoes, Carrots, and Green Bean Medley was unseasoned and carrots and potatoes were overly crunchy. Not the worst food I ve ever had but it doesn t match the beautiful atmosphere and service. I would come back again though.

Our first time here and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere and food was great. We had the butcher board which was a Charcuterie board with a very nice assortment of cheeses, meats, olives, figs, almonds, a fig jam and some crunchy flatbread crackers. We also shared the club sandwich and a Caesar salad. There were two of us eating and it was plenty of food for two (even had a little left over). The new Omni hotel, grounds and golf course gave it a really great vibe. The servers were really great people (but could have been a little more attentive). They also have free valet parking, which is nice! Overall, our experience was definitely a five and we ll be back!

Food was great! Atmosphere was excellent! However the service was not very good. Our waitress nice and friendly - however she did not check on us often. She didnt refill our drinks. She did not make recommendations or offer to serve us additional meals. Additionally, she neglected to place the order for one of our party. We kinda felt as if we were all alone. And thats disappointing, because the food tasted excellent, and the atmosphere was very inviting and comfortable. Hopefully it improves, as I would not mind returning. But the service experience must improve. (Corrected for grammar and spelling)

She was knowledgeable regarding the menu and the entire resort answering any of our questions. She was so considerate to us with such thoughtful attention to detail! We are returning this July 1-2 weekend with our entire family and have booked most of our meal reservations back at The Apron requesting Gina. We are looking forward to sharing our time at the resort with our whole family this upcoming weekend!
