The atmosphere was fabulous, the food was on the pricey side. The food was okay. Wouldnt mind going back for that but, the waitress was horrible. Was seated where the former persons bill was still there not collected, got chips and salsa immediately but, the waitress just wouldnt come. Waved and 2 other servers saw me but, walked away. Then the waitress was horrible with a I dont care attitude. Took forever even to get the check. For that reason, prob never again.

The service and portions are great! The food is good, some of it a bit spicy for my bland tastes but Im sure others will love it! We had a big group and eveyone enjoyed it. Get the Queso Mariano dip its great! There is a strong smoke smell when you come in, but it goes away as you sit there. Bathrooms were great and clean as well.

Pros: The food was great! We had the table side guacamole and fajitas for two. Everything was presented well, had adequate portions, & a good flavor. Cons: The service was mediocre and the atmosphere extremely loud. We rarely received refills on our drinks or were checked on for anything else. Overall, we would certainly visit again because we enjoyed the food, but it would rarely visit if the visit were dependent on service and noise.

We recently celebrated a birthday at LaHacienda (LaHa) in Frisco, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure that every detail was taken care of, which made the evening feel even more special. The food was nothing short of amazing authentic Tex-Mex flavors that delighted everyone at the table. The fajitas were sizzling, the enchiladas were perfectly seasoned, and the fresh guacamole was a hit. Each dish was crafted with care, and you could taste the quality in every bite. Service was top-notch throughout the night. Our server was friendly, prompt, and made excellent recommendations. They really went above and beyond to ensure that the birthday celebration was a memorable one, even bringing out a special dessert that added a sweet touch to the evening. LaHacienda is definitely the place to go if youre looking for great food, excellent service, and a lively atmosphere. We couldnt have asked for a better spot to celebrate, and we ll definitely be back!

La Hacienda Ranch is a Mexican food restaurant, or better described as Tex-Mex. This location in Frisco is family friendly, even for little kids. Out on the porch next to the front entrance are coin operated kiddy rides. Rides like these used to be all over the place, but now they are extremely rare. In the entrance area is a standing bear on display. The management and staff welcome you to take photos of it, but will get upset if you touch it. The front doors have antique rifles for the door handles, and when a friend of mine and I went there, he laughed and said he would like to be able to say that he opened the doors without touching the rifles. I said, an easy way is to wait for someone inside to go out the entrance doors. Inside, above the bar is a high wood beam vaulted ceiling that has an 1800s like appearance. The food here is made in house from scratch every day. The small flour tortillas are fresh baked on a grill and go well with a meal. There is, unfortunately, a charge for them today, but they once gave complimentary tortillas with any meal years ago. It must be harder to be profitable in the restaurant buisiness than before. Still, I like this restaurant better than On the Border, El Fenix, or Frankies.

Well, its been a while since we have been and it has definitely changed. The enchiladas were not good The asada was cooked like a roast. The nachos were ordered with a few changes and none of them were done. Pointed out, the waiter acted like it was our fault. The tortilla soup which used to be delicious, had way more vegetables and varieties which changed the flavor. Service- poor. 20 years of good will burned in a day... More to do with it being our fault the order was wrong and food was poor.... Restaurant has an off day, but... Eating in the ranch has been a family favorite for 20 years. The menu items change a little bit over time, but always stay consistently great! Love the chips and queso! Theyre big beef burrito smothered in queso is always a hit. Dont think weve ever had a bad meal here

We came to celebrate a special occasion and our experience was the cherry on top! The smell of char grilled meats through the parking lot, the themed areas inside, the friendly staff, and the food were worth the visit. We came around 5pm on Tuesday and there were quite a few people but no wait. We ordered a Fiesta platter for 2 which includes fajita steak, chicken, and shrimp on a sizzling platter for 52. It comes with sides of beans(or bean soup), rice, pico, guac, cheese, sour cream, and tortillas. It could easily feed 3 people. The flavors were amazing, our meat was fork tender and the shrimp was sweet and soft. We also ordered a Paloma and it was strong and sweet, they had an array of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks that would suit anyone. I sure hope more folks come and enjoy it as much as we did!

Mom and I have lived in the DFW Area since 2001. We have watched Frisco, The Colony, Plano, Carrollton, and surrounding areas develop and grow rapidly over the past 23 years. We have been patrons of the Frisco location of LaHa Ranch since 2014. Always a good time here! On every visit that I can recall, the food quality, level of service, and ambiance have all been on point. It is also consistent. Best place for Tex-Mex! We have had several servers over the years and they have always been courteous, professional, and attentive without being intrusive. The taste and texture of their corn tortillas makes me feel like it is made from scratch in-house and makes us return for subsequent visits. I understand that there has been a management change in the past six months, but the food, service, and ambiance are exactly as I remember or better. I still give it five stars. I know several filterless judgmental patrons will disagree, but that is why you need to dine here and experience it for yourself - in order to give a truthful, unbiased review. Filiberto was our server. Courteous, quick to acknowledge us, and was attentive and receptive to our needs. I ordered the cheese enchiladas with rice (no beans) and a side of sour cream sauce. Mom ordered the chicken enchiladas with rice (also no beans) and the sour cream sauce also on the side. The chips were more than enough for us to share and the portions are ideal. The star of the show here is definitely the Spicy Mariano Margarita! Truly the best I have ever had at any restaurant. It is clear that quality liquor and fresh ingredients are used in its preparation. The tajin on the rim gives it an invigorating, vibrant, spicy kick and tantalizes the taste buds. I have not ordered dessert here since the summer of 2020, but I do fondly recall sharing (and devouring) the apple pie skillet on that day 4 years ago with Mom. So sinfully good and we will order it again (eventually) on one of our future visits.

I have been a regular at La Haciendas across the DFW metroplex since 1998. I would guess, on average, I have eaten at a La Ha at least once a month. Today I have had enough. They want $26 for simple single order of beef fajitas, and I think that s crazy, but I ll pay it because after eating it for twenty six years, it feels like home. They want $15 for a little bit of cheese and corn: cheese enchiladas. $15 for what is basically $0.75 from the store. But they have now raised their Mariano s margarita price to a whopping $20. What s more, is if you want a single shot of silver tequila and a Topo Chico, it s $15. Friggin insane. Could I pay it? Sure. But I just can t justify it anymore. I would bet I order two margaritas minimum each visit. Now they will lose that revenue from me completely. I refuse to pay this much for something that costs them so relatively little. I am very disappointed, as evidenced by the fact that I m taking the time to write this out. I m not a boomer (yet), and I m not a Karen. It s principle. I feel like they are literally taking advantage of me and everyone who has been their customer for decades. Very disappointing.

Order a beer or water till they fix their Rita! Also don t sit on the patio which is semi enclosed since it s really echoey and hard to hear.

I havent been in about 7 years and was hoping to get the same quality of fajita that we used to get there. Unfortunately, that is not what we got. The fajitas we ate were very average and subpar compared to our favorite spots here in the Metroplex. It is always unfortunate when you go back to somewhere you havent been in a while with expectations of what it used to be and the food is just not the quality it was 7 years ago when we came last.

I love the food here, and to be fair, I did go on Cinco de Mayo (when the place was pcked), so the sketchy service may be linked to that, but it was not great. This restaurant is part of the family of restaurants that invented the frozen margarita machine - do not forget to order one to celebrate. The TexMex here is amazing - the tacos and enchiladas leading the way. It is worth the trip to Frisco.

Very log cabin western style vibe. I had the bone-in ribeye Mexican style. It was actually quite tasty came with a good cheese enchilada rice and beans. Cooked perfectly Wood Fired Grill. However if youre a steak connoisseur at high-end restaurants just know that this is not prime or wagyu.. but for the price point and the amount of food you get, its excellent.

Came to this restaurant for the first time on Saturday. Margaritas are really good and strong. My table side guacamole could ve been better, also ordered surf and turf and that was delicious! Nice atmosphere, but the service was better.

My hair smells like smoke.Thats why two stars for atmosphere. They really need to get a better ventilating system. It stinks in there. I got chicken fajitas. They were good, but they werent worth what they charge for them.Theyre not any better than any other mexican place in town. The only redeeming thing was the Margarita. Now it was twenty dollars but it was like two margaritas in one and it was delicious.

8 out of 10 times I come to eat dinner at the bar that fits only 6 people and is always full I dont get why such a huge restaurant has such a SMALL bar? The fresh tortilla display and the waiting area are such a waste of space. Sometimes I walk in and the bar table is full and I would rather go to another place. I thought this place was being remodeled after being closed for so long after COVID-19 then I came for the first time and loved the Marianos but hated the layout. Where do people who just want to enjoy a drink set at?

We visited on Saturday, April 6, 2024. Our server Darrell was the best. We were a party of 8 celebrating a birthday. Darrell took great care of us. The food was outstanding. The steak and chicken fajitas were tender, juicy, and they taste great. A large parking lot, but they were so packed, we had trouble finding a parking spot. I definitely will return.

My family and I have been going to Marianos restaurants since he had the old place down on Greenville Ave. I had most of my celebratory meals as a kid in one of his establishments. I think it is amazing that despite the menu changing, the good quality of the food, from steaks to nachos, has stayed remarkably the same. When I am in the Dallas area, I make sure to swing by and order a spicy chicken verde (the best item on the menu imo) like I have for decades. The smokey salsa is also my favorite salsa ever. Constructive suggestions: I think the portion sizes have actually increased over the years. I would love it if some entrees had an option for a smaller size. I am a fan of the sundance fajitas, but I miss the bed of rice. Can that be an option again? Thanks again for the many years of great food.

I will never pass the opportunity to have their chicken Poblano al Carbone with roasted vegetables with an original frozen Margarita (or 2) and chips and salsa. Their roasted salsa is incredible. Wish they would bring back the habanero salsa.... The beef fajitas, mesquite grilled steaks, brisket tacos, queso and apple pie are life changing. If debating - stop, go... thank me later. Vegetarian options: The roasted veggies are awesome. But, I dont think this would be the first option for vegeterians Kid-friendliness: Coin operated rocking horses on the porch, and a bear inside the doors! Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp that is wheelchair accessible and plenty of room to move throughout
