This is the best Italian food I have had in all of The DFW area. Everything is fresh and seasoned perfectly. We had a table of 5 and two vegetarians and cleaned every plate. Amazing service as well. I can speak highly enough of this place. Please try!

Highly recommend! My husband and I were looking for an amazing Italian restaurant, we found the perfect spot! We were able to secure reservations and noticed how busy it gets. Felt like going to friends home for dinner. This family owned restaurant is a true gem! You can taste the freshness of the ingredients and feel the warmth in of their hospitality. The lasagna is the best we ve had and their pizza is light and delicious. The Baonecci pizza has been our favorite. Pair your food with wine. Must try their seasonal specials! My wife and I had a rare date night away from the kids. We usually go the steakhouse route but we wanted to try something different. We usually avoid Italian because you leave feeling like you paid a huge price tag for food you could had made at home. I searched Italian restaurants in Frisco. I saw the reviews for Baonecci. One review said worthy of being called Italian food. I was hooked. We were welcomed by Walter, the owner. He and his family are from Italy. That s promising. My wife and I got the lobster ravioli and the seafood risotto. Y all!! We were blown away by how fresh and light and flavorful the dishes were. They didn t hold back on the portions. They were scent sized with amazing taste. We finished the night with tiramisu. Also fantastic. We have our Italian spot! Sorry for the empty plates only pictures.

We went here for our 4 year anniversary and the food was spectacular! We got the pasta al pomodoro and the margherita pizza and it was so delicious. We had Americle as our server and she was so nice and friendly! We highly recommend :)

The ambiance and atmosphere were lovely. Its a charming place to have a meal. It reminds me of my time in Italy. The dishes are made from scratch, and my pasta was delicious. What I didnt like was I ordered a pasta dish and I asked the waiter to have sausage added. He replied that the owner doesnt do that. I had to order from the second course menu if I wanted a protein. The protein costs more than double what the first course cost. The waiter went on to say that the owner will not substitute anything and they dont deviate from the menu. Apparently, this is how its done in Italy. Then we asked for bread and we were told that they used to serve bread, but much of the time it was wasted, so now no bread is served, not even upon request. Bread is a staple in Italy, this is a fact. Im full blood Italian, my Mom was born in Calabria. Bread with butter or EVOO is always served. The owners choose to follow tradition when it benefits them, not when it benefits the patron. The cost of the meal compared to the quantity of food served makes this place not worth the money. This restaurant caters to high-end patrons only. Be prepared to leave hungry, or be willing to spend a lot of $$$$.

From the front door to the floor the ambience was alluring and the floor was super clean. The wait was not long and the staff was super friendly every one checked on us often. Our designated waitress was Americle. She was super knowledgeable friendly sweet and personable. We were a bit indecisive as to what dish we wanted and she explained everything wonderfully and clearly. She was also great with our kid and was accommodating. Our kid loved her and we did too when there ask for Americle tell her we sent ya !!

I was searching for a authenticly Italian pizza with anchovies and was shocked that this was the only place in town with an anchovy pizza. Man, did it hit the spot. The Napolitana & the Capricciosa (another fave) were some of the best Ive had (and Ive had many). Americle was a fantastic server, so kind, beautiful smile. All of the food was fantastic. Atmosphere, fantastic. Nearly everyone walking through the door was Italian (thats a good sign). Saw a lady making pasta in the kitchen (next level unlocked). Would come back for the anchovy & caper pizza alone. Everything else makes it so much better.

Came in for date night on a Saturday. No reservation as we usually sit at the bars. The whole bar empty except a couple already sitting and eating. We get turned away by owner due to them being too busy I understand it s a Saturday night, but I ve worked service industry for years and it baffled me seeing a whole bar open, tables open and him turn us away. If he would have asked any server I m sure they wouldn t mind taking guest at the bar for MORE MONEY. I hustled and took care of every guest when I worked bc that s how you make a living, imagine that Good food or not, that leaves a sour taste in the mouth. We ended up going to Crudo down the road who always takes care of us. Will never go back, will never recommend.

Ambience: Really nice and homey. Modern take on a rustic Italian vibe. Service: Very attentive waiter and very accommodating as I had to ask for one more seat due to a miscount. Plates were taken away and water was filled promptly. Food: The taste for the food was great. The meatballs were tender and the sauce was good. I wish there was a bit more sauce. The risotto texture was a little crunchy. I think it just needed an extra minute. Biases: I went for lunch with friends so there werent too many other patrons. What a wonderful Italian restaurant. The food was amazing! The pasta is all fresh made and it definitely shows. The flavors are rich and fresh. The service was as equally wonderful as the food. Our server answered our questions and was very attentive. We came by early in the evening so it was slow and quiet, and the owner stopped by to talk to us a few times. Made a reservation to celebrate a birthday- and the service was terrible. The server never came to our table until we asked for a server. We ordered our food and drinks, drinks never came. The server was rushing our service and asked if we wanted our check immediately after I put my fork down- no mention of desserts or drinks. We also had to ask for this. We discussed with the owner of our feedback regarding our experience and he just shrugged his shoulders. We loved this restaurant in SF and disappointed at the lack of service for their customers. It was our go to date night place and was hopeful for a great dinner. I will say the food was as good as we remembered. Owner needs to learn we are in the south and being nice goes a long way.

Thought this place was gonna be so good because of the reviews, sadly the food was not good whatsoever. The Margherita pizza was cold and lacking flavor the lasagna was bland and the bolognese pasta was not very good at all. Tiramisu was runny and not solid felt like I completely wasted $116 on food too go. Mind you I lived in Naples Italy for over one year, so I know what good Italian food is. Wife agreed as she lived in Italy as well. Save your money. Partenope Ristoante in Dallas blows this place out of the water!

I was really excited about this place and for the most parts, the food was wonderful. Unfortunately, the bartender/waiter, who wasn t very busy, seem to find a lot of things to do other than taking care of me. Two of the three tables that came in after me Got their first dishes before he even acknowledged I was there. Thankfully the wonderful bar back chipped in until I grabbed him by the shirt to get us attention. It s not worth it. horrible service can really take away from a good meal.

Let me start by saying we are from Chicago so our standards for Italian food are super high. This restaurant is the best Italian food we ve had in Dallas since moving here 5 years ago - no questions asked. The focaccia was absolutely perfect. The pastas were all fresh, homemade, delicately sauced to perfection and seasoned with love. The pizza was life changing. I can t say enough good things about this place. I woke up this morning and the first thing I thought of was the mushroom ravioli dish I inhaled. We will absolutely be back again and again and have already told everyone we know to get here as soon as possible. Don t change a thing Baonecci!

I know most Italians restaurants are not owned by Italians, but this one is. That being the case, my date and i were very disappointed at our meals, so much that we stopped at Golden Chick on the way home. The portions were incredibly small, the taste average, and the prices outrageous. I know it s something small but there is no bread for the table and the smallest salad rings in at $18, $15 for tiramisu. Being from the home of American Italian food (i.e. Boston), this restaurant would never survive there.

Be prepared to experience prices twice as high as what you would expect for any pizza or pasta dish. I like thin crust pies but the crust was so thin it was more like a cracker and the size looked like a medium. Pasta dish was good but portion very small. I ve spent most of my life in New Jersey so my standards are pretty high for Italian food. It s not that the food was bad, it s that price was not in line with other good Italian restaurants in the Dallas area. Check the online menu before you come so you re not surprised. They try to make up for the price by giving very good service but I still couldn t get past the prices.

This restaurant is family owned. They moved themselves and the business to Texas from little italy neighborhood in San Fran like the rest of intelligent CA residents in 2021. Grandma makes all the pasta, sauces, and dressings fresh each day. I learned this from great service provided by Paolo. Absolutely great food & the Super Tuscan wine was a great pairing with lasagna. The pizza was good but the dessert was below average. Food is on the expensive side so if I am getting a dessert I definitely dont expect an ice cream dipped in cold coffee. I would really suggest them to remove options that do not live up to the price. It just felt average and hence the ratings

Truly warm and authentic Italian experience, the chef is passionate about maintaining the traditional Italian recipes and does not cut any corners in terms of the quality of ingredients or taste. The staff is amazing, such a homely atmosphere. A special shout out to Rogelio, his sense of humor and service is better than any other server I have interacted with ever.

Had a wonderful experience with my family last weekend for dinner! Definitely will be a new favorite of ours. I have been looking for an authentic Italian restaurant in the North Texas area for quite some time. Baonecci has delivered on that authenticity. From an excellent selection of wines to well-prepared pasta dishes, it was an great first time experience. In addition, Rogelio is a fantastic server with mastery of the menu + a comedic spirit. This is one of the best authentic Italian restaurants we have been to in the recent years. We ordered Spinach ravioli, Tagliatelle AllArrabbiata, and Pizzas. I cant say enough good about Baonecci. The owner came over and told us about the history of his families food from Italy. My wife and I hade the lasagna and boloignese. Both were amazing. The food was greatly accented by a choice of great wines. The food was authentic from the Tuscany region of Italy. This is a cut above anything I have had from an Italian restaurant. Its a must try and we will be back for sure. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Wow, we are so excited this wonderful Italian restaurant moved to our area. We have been there 6 times now, and they hit more than 5 stars in every way. The food is very good but the small portion size and overpricing diminishes the overall experience here. We love the family owned environment and the authenticity of the Italian cuisine but it doesn t justify the prices including the overpriced alcohol beverages. We want this place to survive but it will likely need to adjust the pricing to serve Frisco in a strip mall on Preston.

The food was very delicious, and the service was attentive but what didnt seem right for an Italian full service restaurant was, NO BREAD FOR THE TABLE! The prices, we felt, were very high. $20.00 for one sliced tomato with a ball of Burrata. Similarly through out the menu. That said, I would go back for the quality of the food. Food

We just walked out of this place and our experience was so positive that I had to leave a review. I came here for my birthday dinner and couldn t have asked for anything better: the vibe here is absolutely perfect. It s a smaller establishment that s very easy to get in and out of and has the perfect feel to it if you prefer a homegrown feel to your dining experience. The staff are so friendly and make you feel like you re at home. The food was to die for (I had the pesto pasta: 12/10) and the Lemon Spritz was amazing too. The only thing I m upset about is that I didn t come here sooner. Please try this place- you won t regret it.
