Love going to HaiDiLao. Treat for everyone in the family. Gave 4 star on atmosphere as it can be loud and crowded some times. Less space to walk around if you need multiple trips to the condiment table. Still overall a place to try.

Beat the dinner rush and grabbed a bite here with my husband and youngest son. Service was great, food great, bill greater but I ve also dined at their London O2 location and the service is consistent. Meat was fresh and high quality, veggies were not wilted. Nice touch with the dessert bar (glass jelly and tofu fa with popping boba) and the other usual condiments bar. Will def return.

I had the best experience at Haidilao!!! The #1 place to be at when you re looking for good food. My group and I got 4 different broths (pork bone, tomato, Tom yum, spicy pork bone), and they all tasted so yummy!! For meats, we highly recommend the beef tongue, lamb, & beef belly. Such positive vibes there. We will definitely be back!! :,)

Mia and Tran made our night so special! We had made a reservation, and noted that we were celebrating our move to Texas. Upon entering, we were ushered to a table with a Welcome to Texas table scape! How sweet that the time was taken to make it a little more special! We also received a sweet note from Mia the manager! The food was incredible- i ve never had anything so flavorful and fresh! they let you take home all of your leftovers, and they gave us some extra soup base to take home! The sauce bar was a great addition. We also ordered the Dancing Noodle which was a fun experience! Tran was a great server - he was very helpful when explaining how everything worked, and delivered all of our food very quickly. We will absolutely be returning, especially for the late night deal!

Staff was so so lovely! Made us sauces to try and multiple members of staff offered to take photos of our group. It s a bit cramped when getting sauces, but the food makes up for it! They used google translate to ensure nobody had allergies, as well. The decor is fantastic and everything tasted amazing. The price is definitely up there, but for a meal with friends or family it s a great experience and worth it! Highly recommend if you get the chance.

I ve been to many hot pot places before where you pay 40-60 per person and it s all included. Here you have to pay for the base (soup), for the food bar and for the meat. The base wasn t good, the bar had nothing essentially besides sauces. If you want to pay 200+ for four people and be full this is the place.

Came here for my birthday lunch today, Ive been wanting to come since New Year and they didnt disappoint! This is like an upscale hot pot place, service was excellent (they opened the door for us!) and seating was very comfortable. The soup base (chicken and fish maw) was so delicious, even my husband who doesnt drink soup thinks so. I wish they have all you can eat options as there are items I would like to try but didnt want to order a whole plate, or mix and match dishes that I can choose a few items each on it. They have snacks and a few desserts at the sauce table as well. Table space design is very smart, you can really tell they put a lot of thought in the details. Will be back!

Always love this place. All of the joys and flavors of hot pot but with no prep, no shopping, and no cleanup! My favorite servers are Lili and Jon! I love the normal original spicy soup base, tom yum soup base, steak, lotus root, bamboo shoots, daikon radish, wood ear mushrooms, bok choy, etc. I think the robots that bring your food are super cute and you get aprons to wear for your meal. I recommend getting a membership if you want to go often! All you have to do is enter your phone number.

Made me and my wife sick. I have an 8 hour drive tomorrow to military base and hope I can make it ok. Broth was so freaking spicy they scooped out chili oil and chilis but was still too hot. I wish they would have offered a different broth. Totally jacked from this place. First time coming here and last time. For $200, I would have been much happier eating a hamburger and have had $195 still in my pocket. BAD experience. Hope you can make it right. Update: No Thanks to your offer! My wife and I had an upset stomach for 2 days after eating here. Ill never go there again. Garbage.

Three of us went in for lunch and had a great experience. The meats were delicious and fresh. The soups were great. You have to know what you are doing or the food might not taste the best. Im not a fan of Chinese peppercorns, so will definitely be giving the spicy soups a pass the next time. The spice/condiment bar also requires some thought. Mixing everything together will lead to disaster. A little expensive for lunch - $110 incl tax and tips for three but we ordered a lot of meat. Dietary restrictions: If you have allergies, navigating the menu might be tricky. Parking: Typical strip mall marking Kid-friendliness: Plenty of kids around. Personally, I find kids more tolerable than some of the adults I have seen.

Thanks so much to Lili and the noodle performer! I really dont think weve ever been treated this well in our years together! This place was absolutely amazing! We chose to have our 10 year wedding anniversary here and they exceeded expectations in every way! I notified them prior to arrival of the special occasion, and they had the area around our table decorated, toys laid out for the kids, and special bags for every person to take home with snacks and goodies. We were given so many little extra things to try while eating as well. The dancing noodle was awesome!! And was a gift to us from this restaurant! Overall we were so amazed with how we were treated, and will definitely be back for more (and more)! Things are reasonably priced and you have a lot of choices to choose from, broths, meats, veggies, noodles... Great tasting soups/broths, very yummy cuts of meat. 7/20/24 update: Service continues to be marvelous. The quality of the food is great and our server Lili was amazing with our kiddo. Also, their A/C during the Texas summer has been one of the best, which is needed to eat hot pot. It was very pleasant experience. The kids playroom is no longer in service but we ve gotten toys that keep the kids entertained. During our visit around 1 pm they had a good Bian Lian performance. Service, service, and service. Anyone can make hotpot at home, but the HaiDiLao experience is what you pay for. The service has been so far consistently great. The ingredients are fresh with a expansive sauce bar. The location has a play room for kids and some other entertainment if you are waiting but nothing crazy like those you could find in China tho. It s fun each time we go and the hand pulled noodle master is a great entertainer. Kid-friendliness: Super kids friendly.

We had a late reservation, which was easy to make and confirm. Our server Wenhen was super helpful, kind, and offered all the information we needed to have a great dining experience. Service and environment are both good. Food selection is really just ordinary. Not better than other hotpot buffet, but many times more expensive! They have kimchi at the sauce table. Its so salty, that is not edible! The sesame and peanut sauce is supposed to be the base, so you can adjust the taste with other ingredients, but the sesame sauce was itself so salty! Theres no way to enjoy other food when it was overwhelmed by the salty of sauce! Overall, this place is an overpriced hype. Not Worth it.

If I could give a 100 stars to this restaurant I would. Absolutely phenomenal service. Amazing food. The best atmosphere! So much energy and happiness in this place. My boyfriend and our friends are from out of town and here to beat an old world record. I am so beyond happy I found HaiDiLao on Google. I did call in for reservation and they sat us right on time. Our server (My) was promptly there and asked if it was our first time (it was). She was extremely nice and informational. She showed us exactly how to use the iPad to order and pointed out where to find sauces. The food came quickly and as we were eating they showed us a dancing noodle presentation which was absolutely unexpected and phenomenal. They brought us each drama face changing dolls. Then later asked if we d seen their dance and performed that for us as well. Extremely fun. Brought hand wipes and mint candies and toothpicks for us at the end. We had 5 people and only paid $25/person before our tip. At the end they gave us goodie bags. Offered to take our pictures for us & also gave us complementary ice cream on our departure. I can not recommend this place enough. It was the most fun I ve ever had in a restaurant and I look forward to coming back to Frisco to try it again.

This is a place that I always go to for my birthday! Where some of my funniest and awkwardest memories come from! The servers will surround you, along with a huge boom box singing a Chinese birthday song to you! Everyone who greets us from the front door to the staff who delivers soup bases and cleans up are all so nice! This is an a la carte hot pot restaurant. You order through an ipad they give you. You choose your soup bases (we also go with pork & spicy pork broths. They have a sauce bar to build your own soup, and it also has fruits and other small bites. The meat is great quality and the broths are flavorful! We re huge fans of their seafood balls, handmade noodles, and wings as well. For dessert, we always go with fried mantou with condensed milk. It always comes hot and fresh! On your way out, you get free ice cream and bags with snacks. There s also some phrases you can say to get free stuff! Highly recommend Haidilao!! The staff goes out of their way to provide exceptional service from the second you enter to leaving. The manager opened the door for everyone entering and leaving the restaurant. The servers are also wonderful. They give ladies a ponytail holder to tie up your hair and aprons to protect your clothes. First time goers, Shawn was our waiter and was very attentive to our needs. The food was great and so was the performance, which was a nice surprise for us. The only reason our review isn t higher is due to the fact that when checkout time came, our waiter asked if we were ready for our bill and was scolded by upper management to not ask us that and gestured him to go away. We were a little confused by the situation and were left uncomfortable for the remainder of the time there. We went for a birthday dinner and instantly walking in the table had some decorations. The food is amazing but the semi spicy soup is extremely hot! Be careful! I wish I could give HaiDiLao 10 stars because this was the BEST dining experience Ive ever had. Service was fantastic; from Jordan at the front and Wenhan who was our server for the day. This was my first time at HaiDiLao, and Wenhan recommended the Tom Yum soup base as well as the Mushroom Soup & both were delicious!
