This place gives the quaint dive location in Plano a bad name. Place was filthy and staff couldnt speak English. Messed up order 2x and had to call another store to translate. ??? Also are all the toppings now extra? In the past they were part of the $7.59 burger. And yes, as mentioned below the townservice was hawking over the spots. If this is the same owner as in Plano, shame.... If different owners... Get with it please.

Easy ordering at counter, they give you a number, pick up at counter. Burgers and fries were good. Would come again for the food. Floors were sticky, tables and chairs werent wiped thoroughly. Needed to go potty before we left and the womens bathroom was filthy. Trash cans full and toilets were not cleaned. We went in shortly after it opened.

The food was great! I had the grill cheese sandwich and fries. The others with me had burgers that were delicious as well. We ordered our food and paid for our food using a kiosk located just inside the door. A gentleman gave us our cups so we could get our drinks. Our name was called to pick up our food, and the feast was on! You get a good amount of food. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

They have a contract with a tow trucking and take advantage of Skyhouse Residents. They have no customers and have the manager to call the trucking company to tow cars. My mom wasnt even parking in their parking spot! This place lacks integrity and has bad character. Do not support this restaurant!!!! Also I had a burger here before it was gross! There were nats flying by the ketchup.

I passed this area during my work day. It looked interesting, so I decided to take my family. I order shakes and meals for the family. Then, when sitting at the table, the staff states they are out of milk, so there are no shakes. The food was good, the creme soda was excellent! However, I was disappointed a) the lack of supplies to having the inventory B) The staff did not communicate until after placing an order. This place is off the beaten path of the Frisco Star but a good hamburger to be had. Their meat is never frozen. Price wise, they are in between In-N-Out and Mooyah Burger.

Food is a little over priced. Staff KEEPS ON black latex gloves, touch everything else (cash register and whatever i heard them moving around in the back)and then touches Food. I didnt see them change out the gloves once. I will not go back to this location ever.Food was terrible. I couldnt even eat it.. I cant seem to add photos of what I got. I visited because someone left a review saying how big and juicy the burger was. While the burger was tasty, it was not big and juicy. Basic smash burger. But it came out hot and fresh. I think to really taste the meat, you have to order a double meat burger. Otherwise, youre definitely getting more bread and toppings than meat. They really make an excellent burger here - definitely one of my favorites. Parking can get kind of difficult here, as its under a residential building and Sky Rocket has only a limited number of spaces. And the inside is honestly kind of spartan, with lots of empty space. But all of that is well worth it in my opinion.

Im not even going to get into how unwell kept this place was inside just give an honest review of the food. I am not joking when I say it is the worst burger I have had. I will eat anything but did not even finish. Dry crispy junk and stale hard bun. Stale fries that may have been old. I cant see how they are in business. Nobody was there. Floors were sticky. You dont even want to know the cost. You wouldnt believe it. Also they dont take cash and charge you a fee to use your credit card . I know places are struggling but this was next level bad.

My Wife and I are in town celebrating our 20th year anniversary. Instead of eating at our hotel, we decided to patron the SkyRocket Burger restaurant here in Frisco, TX. We thought it would be great to get that old school burger feel. Upon walking up to the door, there was this God-Awful sewage smell reeking right out front upon entry. I should have paid attention to the flaming red flag waving, but, I went along in hopes it would be better inside and we could just enjoy our meal after being on the road for 8 hours today. Sooo that didn t happen none whatsoever. I am not a fan of this whole experience. I honestly couldn t tell you how anything tastes because I spent the entire time fighting for my food, I only got 2 bites in. There was a gnat problem sitting with you at the table so there was no escape. I mean , I even killed a bug that landed on my forehead (which now you can tell by my mini outbreak). I am quite successful in my field, but, I did not expect to walk into a new career when we attempted to eat out tonight .an exterminator! I had to get my wife to rush me to the pharmacy bc I couldn t stop itching and feeling like I had bugs still flying on me, in my face, arms, and forehead. Whats even worse is that, the flying annoyances were flying on my food, got in my food, in my drink, on the lid just everywhere. $40 to become itchy, disgusted, hungry, and, now I have to order UberEats bc I haven t been able to. I never signed up for this. We threw our food away because the gnats took over and it was just too much and also gross to have to endure such unwanted activities. I didn t come to town for this. I didn t even get a chancto ask for a milkshake bc I lost the battle at my table. Oh yeah, the second worse part is that when we complained, we were told that they knew about it but also was dismissed at the same time. There is nothing anyone can do or say to ever get me back there. What a waste! Hopefully, tomorrow I can wake up and feel better and welp free.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Let me explain. We walked over from the Canopy Hotel. I always wanted to try this place. Upon arrival you could smell a sewer issue. But I paid it no mind. It was outside the restaurant. I walked in and the young lady doesn t greet us. I guess she is in training , from what I could see. So we used the kiosk. Our order comes up and we take a seat. We immediately started swatting gnats or whatever they are. No biggie right. It s Texas. There s bugs. But no. This was an infestation. They were crawling on our food, drinks. It was no way you could sit there and eat without having to eat the gnats. PERIOD. So once we were covered in gnats from our hair, food, fries, and drinks. We couldn t take it anymore. We balled up the food and headed straight for the counter. I told the young lady about the insect problem and how we threw away $38.98 worth of food. I also said, are you aware of the insect problem in the dining area. She looked at me and said, yes. I said, so you know? Again she dryly said, YEAH I KNOW..At this point I m floored. I said, well you all should let the customer know that they may encounter a problem with the insects and let them decide if they want a gnat burger with fries. The whole time I m talking to her gnats are accumulating on the top of my drink. She looked down and raised her shoulder to say, SO. She didn t offer to remake our food. She didn t even offer up an apology. She had our money and that s ALL SHE CARED ABOUT. I would have been okay if she just made it for take out. But she was just like. Yeah there s bugs and? So I told her never mind. I ll write a review, so here it is. And I post plenty of reviews. This by far was a bad experience at a restaurant I ve visited in a long time. Side note: my husband is currently taking Benadryl for the bites. We just got in town today and he s going to have to sleep this off, so we will not be going anywhere tonight. This is a basic burger joint that does burgers, shakes and fries just about as good as anyone. It definitely gets 5 stars for the type of food its serving, great basic burgers and frys! Location is large and very clean, the only issue I had was the mystery 3% fee on every order and location. The location with lack of parking is a little baffling.... Why? Sky Rocket is my favorite burger in town! The burgers are always smashed and grilled to perfection. I also LOVE the sesame buns that are toasted with what seems to be butter. DELICIOUS. The Frisco location is usually pretty empty. It feels like the kind of place that does a lot of carry out orders so they arent too concerned with the atmosphere. I only had one of the cherry milkshakes. Im from Wisconsin, so rating ice cream treats is squarely in my wheelhouse. The milkshake had decent flavor, but had ice crystals in it, which are the sign of ice cream that has been freezer burned out has a high water content s opposed to cream. Not good. The server didnt offer whipped cream and just have my the shake without it. When you pay $6 for a milkshake at a fast food place, you should get whipped cream and cherry.

This location was near our hotel so we gave it a try and super happy we did! The shake was a 10/10 not too thick and not too thin with plenty of flavor. The burger was exactly what you would want from a frosty type spot! I love the smashed style burger with all the fixings. I had the off-putting displeasure of dining at skyrocket, it was a total letdown. Corners were clearly cut at this establishment. Located below a new high-rise apartment building in the Jerry Jones/ Dallas cowboys owned real estate sector in Frisco, the feeling you got in the restaurant was completely like you were in a questionable city 50 miles away. The bathroom resembled a gas station,was about as clean as one without graffiti, and I questioned whether the hand dryer was installed by a professional, given it was just plugged into an outlet instead of being hardwired. The signage had grainy resolution and looked like it was done in a rush on a file too small to be scaled up properly. The paint job screamed amateur DIY neglect. To add insult to injury, the soda machine currently serves off-brand drinks which some may not enjoy. A major issue is they refused to accept cash. The real deal-breaker? A small fruit fly infestation throughout the store, in February with averages in the mid 60s that made me question my sanity. Do you enjoy flies with your meal? I didnt think so. A regrettable experience all around.

Really confused by this place. You order on a machine that sends your ticket straight to the kitchen, exactly as you want it. How they managed to add grilled onions to two burgers that didn t ask for any on the ticket is beyond me. Grilled onions aren t even a default option for their burgers you have to specifically request them. Not only that, but one of the remade burgers (again, all l asked was to remove the onions) came back with onions on it AGAIN. It took 40 minutes from the time we walked in to actually get a correct order we were the only people in the restaurant the entire time, by the way. The manager(?) mumbled Sorry. under his breath and seemed annoyed there was a possibility that we didn t want any onions. Place is absolutely riddled with fruit flies too. Not good. I m surprised none of the other reviews have mentioned them. Go see for yourself or don t. It s a real shame because the food is so good and the Deep Ellum location is on point compared to this one.

Great burgers and tots/fries. We love coming here. What we don t love is that there is very little parking, the front door tried to kill me, and it is very loud inside. It would help if the staff didn t drag the chairs back into position instead of picking up, but glad they came to work. Definitely will keeping coming with hope for some fixes.

UPDATE Jan 2024: Very cold day in Jan 2023 but hot burger and tots served up. We got the single with cheese and tots. More than enough food. Glad to see the place is still open as one might think it doesnt get much business considering location. Most such restaurant are located where there is a lot of car/foot traffic. Limited parking out front so be sure to read the towing signs so you dont get towed. UPDATE Sep 2022: Overdue for another visit. Fast service and very good tasting burgers. We choose the tots instead of fries. Very good as well. Few eating in for weekday lunch but a number of take-outs noted. BTW: parking signs in front are reserved for Sky Rocket customers. If you arent eating/picking up and park car there the manager might get it towed. He came out and asked all the customers which one they had. A few minutes later tow truck showed up. If not enough space out front use the visitor parking garage. Just what we needed after two days at home after Feb 2022 ice storm. Safer that way. So we were ready for burgers at one of the new places in Collin County. Plenty of parking if you count the parking garage right next door as limited space out front. We got one Jr and one single as not sure of size for our appetites. Next time a single would just right. Got everything except onions which is an extra cost. One small order of very delicious fries. Fast order taken and food served promptly. Lots of customers dine-in for Sat lunch.

Excellent burger and fries! Very impressed with this location over the original in Plano. Placed our to-go order online and it was ready when we walked in. Ordered the cheese fries and was impressed that they were still steaming in the container when we got home to eat. Staff was concise and courteous, both of which I sincerely appreciated. The guy at the counter greeted us pleasantly as we walked up, grabbed our order for us, and after we had gotten our drinks wished us a good evening. As a vegetarian I think it s odd that I crave burgers so randomly but this place does the trick for me!!! OMG they have THE BEST vegan burger I ve ever had! Their special sauce is so yummy it also has a little kick. I love that you can get tots here and milk shakes ughh so good! All of this being said it does always take longer than I can expect to get my food but usually they only have two people working. The staff is always super nice and the restaurant is always clean. Very happy that I have a place to satisfy all of my burger cravings! Vegetarian options: They have an impossible burger and they also have a lettuce bun if you re gluten free

Soda machine not working = uncool Cheap sporks? to eat burgers with no buns? super uncool We were excited to see they had moved from their tiny little space to a much larger space. They added a self-serve ordering kiosk in addition to regular staff. The food is as good as we remember. However, the soda machine wasnt working, leaving us with water or unsweet tea as our beverage options. In addition, the only eating utensils were sporks and spoons. I understand, this is a burger place and everything is finger food. But we, and many others, avoid bread. we opted to forego the bun, and a fork and knife would have been useful.

I will say this. Me and a colleague visited during the week at a very slow time. We walked in and we were not greeted. We placed our order and did not get acknowledged until we approached and asked for our cups. The dining area was clean but there were several fruit flies that kept landing on our food. I understand this could be a one off situation so I will have a second visit because we have heard nothing but positive feedback from our peers who have visited before. It was a little pricey but I have to say it was a damb good burger I had the triple and as a bit of a hamburger enthusiast I can tell you that it was one of the best burgers I had in a long time. Its was definitely worth my time. The only thing bi dont like is you have to buy everything separate your drink your fries but I know by this point some burger joints just operate on this model I dont like it but I loved the burger so I definitely would recommend it if you are in the area!!!

Just tried their Frisco location. They totally screwed up pick-up order; didnt realize until I was back home. They have refused to provide a refund. Caveat Emptor. First and last visit. Response to Owners response: No, we didnt speak; I chatted with someone on facebook because NO ONE FROM THE BUSINESS HAS EVER ANSWERED THE PHONE OR REPLIED TO MY VOICEMAIL. UPDATE: Stopped by the business, as they requested, to process refund - THEY COULDNT FIGURE OUT TO DO IT! Everything was just okay! Portion sizes are small. Burger patties are as thin as paper. Literally. Do yourself a favor and get more than one patty so you can really enjoy more than just bread. The flavor was good. Cheese fries were not good. The milkshakes looked pretty thick but almost $5 for one and the lady had the nerve to not fill the cup. She tried to make three shakes at one time in one container and split it. Then said oh I thought I could make it enough. But I can make you some more and never did. I tried to be patient since she was the only cashier and had more customers walk in. She never got back to making me more. My cup was a little over half and the other two about 3/4 full. Overall just a mehhh establishment. Fast food but slower. Nothing like the commercials advertise! I dont know but I think customer service has just hit an all time low these past few years. Either companies are no longer training employees or people really just dont care to do their job correctly. Its sad but eating out is becoming a thing of the past for me.
