I WOULD GIVE THIS PLACE A NEGATIVE 1000!!!!! Such awful experience from the workers and the workers only. Just went in and it was dead and I simply asked the girl w the septum and SHEIN heart necklace that s cheap af btw if it ll probably start getting busy and she haven t friends and I attitude and smart remarks the entire time although my poor friend was being extremely nice to her and we were trying to make simple conversation as we were literally the only customers there on a Thursday night. That girl needs to get fired immediately!!!!! She is by far the worst person I ve ever interacted with especially for someone who relies on tips. Please fire that bar tender right away if you care about your customers enjoying their time and you making any money because you will not with her. What an awful and miserable person, who hired her??? This was around 9:15PM on 12-14-2023 she looks mixed and has cheap clothes from SHEIN only that she admitted to with a huge heart locket around her neck that s missing a picture. I know all of you employees know who I m referring to. I m sure she s a JOY to be around! FIRE HER NOW

Another hole in the wall in Fort worth, was looking for some unique bars to celebrate my birthday so we did bar hopping throughout the area. The place seems little on the outside, but once you pass the refrigerator door (you have ask the girl in the entrance that you came for the bar, just show your ID and shell let you in). I read somewhere that you had to buy something at the store to be allowed to enter to the bar, but the girl just asked for our IDs. On the inside it was pretty empty, probably because it was very early (7:00pm more or less) but it has enough space to throw big parties. Also next to where you get the drinks, theres a dispensary machine, with some cool items to purchase, we got the Happy birthday kit, which had pretty cool items on the inside, such as a pin that you can wear on top of your clothes that says Buy me a drink, its my birthday, as well as a little crown made of paper, a couple of balloons, etc... to drink, my friends got piña coladas which were pretty good, and I got a Gin cocktail that was veeery good as well (cant recall the name).

The front is a bodega (small convenience store). You have to buy something to get access to the bar, to me makes no sense to walk into a bar with a soda or energy drinks but oh well Bar is huge, cool deco and drinks, cheap. I recommend the frozen piña colada. Really good We went early so it was empty but I can see this place as a nice party room at night

What a cool idea! To get into the back you have to buy a snack from the store. I bought Pringles because that is the BEST snack for drinking. The hallway to get to the back is incredibly dark, so please be careful! Once inside, it was a pretty cool vibe!! It was a Friday when I went, and a little early still, so no one dancing, but I can see this place getting packed on weekends!

my best friend and I randomly tumbled upon this last night and it exceeded all our expectations!!! we went on a Thursday night so it was pretty lowkey but the crowd that was there was awesome. the music and drinks were so good and they had a good truck but we didn t get anything. make sure you ask for Marii at the bar, she s super personable and has such a beautiful personality. 10/10 experience

Very friendly staff who sang with us on karaoke night! Pool tables and darts in the back. Dog friendly! They have dog treats at the bar for the few that were there. This was my first time with some friends, and we had an absolute blast!

I seen this place on tik tokn and wanted to try it but it was not worth it. The black bouner told me i couldnt come in with shorts, luckily i had pants in the car because it was chilly out, but let the white people in wearing shorts. Then when we questioned him he said oh they probably paid me $100. The drinks are very expensive $46 for 2 tequila shots. I ended up leaving and going to another place that was waaaay better. Definitely wont be going back. One time experience that wasnt worth the hassle.

Called on a Friday bc the next day was my daughters 21st bday. Planned to meet a large group and I wanted to make sure that we could beat a rush by arriving at 9. The manager was nice and said yes and if we had questions to come see him. His name starts with a B. Half of us get there and we are told its a private event. Wrist band frat party. We went to The Stock Yards and 2nd Chance Rodeo. Drinks were STRONG and it was a great atmosphere. I suggest going to 2nd Chance Rodeo.

Low key the chick at the front on 11/20/22, was being unnecessarily difficult. The chick at the counter told me I had to buy something in order to go in. Then I bought a pack of smokes and she said I was being shady, started saying I couldn t go in. Apologized for a bad reception and she wouldn t take it it. Took my money and then cried foul. Won t be back and am also going to advertise the poor quality to others. This place probably won t make it another 6 months, its always dead when you go in. The drinks are overpriced for some wanna be speak easy establishment.

Ive been here a bunch of times and LOVED it. But after waiting in line for 20 minutes last night they wouldnt let my fiancé in for wearing shorts! They were regular shorts not even athletic ones. This bar is good but definitely not nice enough to disallow shorts in the summer! Dirty Laundry (their sister bar) let us in earlier that night with no problems. We went and spent our money elsewhere and Bodega has lost a customer for good. Sorry not sorry.

Really cool speakeasy concept. Purchasing an item at the store front to get the keypad access at the bottom of your receipt to open the walk-in deep freezer that leads you into the actual bar. We went around 5pm so it was pretty cleared out however, our bartender was awesome. Definitely would be a choice for a fun night out.

This used to be one of the best places on west 7th back when it was a hidden gem. I m the unique entrance through the freezer with the code is cool but it loses its secretive/secluded vibe when there s literally a line out the door and down the block. Drink prices are average but music is always good and the dance floor is lively on the weekends! I also enjoy the pool table and games they have in the open air area out back. I loved the look/ feel and music but honestly one of the bartenders named Patrick ruined the whole vibe of the place. He was very rude to my friend and I and every other female (except for the Caucasian ones) we saw him have an encounter with. Horrible- the place adds a 20% tip for every drink you buy but without you knowing, ask for an itemized receipt. I also noticed bartenders where charging different prices for the same drink and I would only get one drink at a time. You know if they were just honest they would get more tips!!!

Ignore the rating Ive never been to this place. But like every establishment I review I read the lowest ratings first and what demographics post it. And Ive notice alot of these establishments around the west 7th district are known for cherry picking who they provide customer service to base on race,attire, and gender. If you have proper hygiene and proper etiquette your money should warrant the same customer service as anyone else who are welcomed at these establishments. So my currency will not waste the time, along with a ton of associates at my corperation. Word of mouth is still powerful.

Such a cool spot. You purchase something in the grocery store to get a code to go into the bar. They had live country music playing when we walked in. Our bar tender, Patrick was absolutely incredible. A bottle of champagne was gifted to us right when we walked in. Rightfully so, I had to take a photo under the wander lust illuminated sign with the bottle. There were pool tables, giant jenga sets, darts & so much more. We couldnt find darts, so we opted for playing jenga. (maybe they had darts behind the bar, but we didnt ask) they mentioned a dj would be there later & I am assuming playing more upbeat music, but we had to leave early. Even had a really cool seating area outside. Totally recommend!

Not really a speakeasy, but sort of a speakeasy concept. Enter the front facade, buy a snack, get a code to enter the bar. That was cool. Once inside, theres a DJ, a nice patio, and a back room in which to play pool, darts and other games. And, I know people dont go to bars looking for top-notch, friendly customer service, but, even by typical bar standards, the bartenders at Bodega seemed to be either aloof but attentive, or standoffish but frazzled. At least their drinks were delicious. If youre over the age of about 28, you might as well clear out by 10pm, because thats when the TCU/UTA or peaked-in-high-school dude-bros and drama queens take over. In all, the place was just okay.
