People seem to be confused about this place! Haha it s a beautiful building, that s it. It s not a public / open place. It s just a cool looking building if you happen to be driving & want to see a ufo this is a cute photo stop.

There is a good little tree to have breakfast in the shade next to the UFO. Outside of that there is an anthill and two bedbugs.

This isn t really a tourist attraction but it is a landmark of sorts. Nothing exciting. It marks that I m close to the state park for climbing and hiking and close to amazing food from home. My parents have lived in the Hueco Tanks area for 20 years now and this building has hardly changed in that time. There s gravel parking if you want to have a picnic, run, or cycle down Hueco road. If you go further down Montana towards the Guadalupe Mountains, there s even better picnic spots off the main highway - also ideal for stargazing.

Cool little spot to visit to see the stars at night and the city lights. The parking area is open but the building, picnic area and surrounding area beyond the parking are is private property. The building was originally an office for Hueco Mountain Estates. Cool architecture and landmark for west Texas. Be aware of your surroundings and respect the area.

Odd sight on the side of the road. It looks like an office was there last. We drove in the yard and it is for rent.

This is the real estate office for the area.. and also a museum I guess. There are benches and tables for people to sit at. And I think you can walk around the area. Back in the state park which is about 5 miles down the road is some of the worlds best rock climbing.. and is absolutely beautiful back there..
