Service is VERY slow however food is great. O do not like the extra charges added to your bill. Ie charged an extra $5 entertainment fee is one example. I brought friends that were in town for the womens conference for dinner wasnt sure there was a live band or not but the band did show up and was a good addition to the evening. Disappointed about the extra miscellaneous charges added ro each bill. My rating is based on the $10 misc fees plus taxes was a bit costly. My bill was around $60 and I had a turkey burger with fries and a specialty drink that was $14 plus 20% tip (didnt realize for a party of 4 that the tip was already included for each bill) plus the extra misc fees.

The atmosphere was was OK, but the service was horrible. End of the night and got bill had all kind of hidden fees. Me and my wife were just wanted to sit down to eat a decent meal and end up paying more than expected. I will not recommend this establishment to anyone because of the hidden fees, and no communication whatsoever.

Due to the hidden entertainment fee my husband and I definitely wont be back. To charge that fee and then have to pay gratuity is ridiculous. The little chalkboard advising of this entertainment fee is small on the counter and not noticeable at all. Guest should be advised of this prior to dining in especially if you are at the front and asking someone here or to go! Then to upcharge a fee of $6 for 4 flat wings is absurd! I understand an upcharge but come this price is ridiculous! I wouls not reccommend!

The Happy Hour options were not very happy. A $7 cocktail is the average price of a well spirit. There are no HH food options either, which is also a part of marketing a Happy Hour. The food was average, and my server informed me that they are not allowed to give recommendations of menu items to the guest. That baffled me!?! We were first time guest and thats something you would want your staff to do in order to promote business. Im a southern girl, and I have NEVER heard of a cucumber salad with broccoli and carrots in it and no tomato. The cucumber was sliced too thin and soggy. The Dj was funny, but overall, 4/10.

The atmosphere was nice around 2pm, We are visiting from Austin wanted to give this location a try. The first mistake of the weekend. The first table to be seated and waited 30 min to get one appetizer and drinks. 1 hour passed and we still havent received food. We just left. So so disappointed. The place was empty beside the dinner party. So all the attention went to them. Wings and fish takes 8 min to cook, No reason for us to wait that long. I just wish One Black owned restaurant could get it right. We have so much to offer but customers service is a very important. So so sad they failed us. Do better and be blessed.

The Atmosphere is great . The new wait staff is pretty good. The Wait staff is a great improvement. However the prices are TOO HIGH for the flavor of the food and the drinks are not as great or good. They are now charging to customers a Entertainment fee on top of the gratuity. Therefore the wait staff will not getting paid as much due to the Entertainment fee which sucks. If the restaurant cant afford the band why have them there. The DJ is greater and much needed . The Customers enjoy dancing to the music of the DJ. Again if the cant afford entertainment stick to being a restaurant. When Is Long Island Ice Tea served with total tequila. I was told it was house tequila. I ask if my Long Island Ice tea can be served with the house vodka as well. They charged me and extra $3 bucks for the vodka in which originally was not in the long island ice tea it was all tequila . Long Island Iced Tea House Long Island Ice tea $9 I was charged $12 bucks for asking for the way it should be. It tasted nothing like a long island Ice tea. I haven t been here in three years and I told myself three years ago that I wouldn t go back - but I went back and that s my fault. In my previous review they asked if I could stick around for them to redeem themselves and here we go In total - I spent $30 on a 3pc catfish filet basket and a koolaid (which I asked for no ice when placing my order online) I pull up to get my order and it was ice in my drink. After notifying them that I requested no ice, I was told that it ll be extra for no ice. Although I did have $1.08 extra for an already $4.00 medium drink, it just seems unnecessary. It s always something with this place. But shoutout to black owned businesses.

Loved the live band, but the waitresses were terrible. When we came in, the older gentleman, who was very nice, said our server will be right with us. We sat there for an hour and the server never came. We watched waitresses serve nearby tables and not once did any of the waitresses come to our table. When a waitress finally came near our table, I asked her if there was a server for our table, she said, Yes. Would you guys like some water? I said, We wanted to order, but weve been sitting here for over an hour and nobody has come to our table. She didnt even say sorry or anything. The owner definitely needs to have some type of training with the staff. We definitely felt like we were invisible. Please do better.

This was my 4th time ordering food from Thibodeaux s. I must say that I have never been disappointed with their food. The catfish was cooked perfectly. Most of the fries were cooked well. However, a few were soggy but it was because of the amount of peppers and pickles they put in my basket. Greatly appreciate the extra peppers and pickles. The only item I can do without is the bread. Thibodeaux s, I will be ordering for a fifth time soon!

Omg! The service here is the worst! My first and last time here! Waited almost a hour, food never came. One excuse from the cashier and a different excuse from the manager! They re either confused or just that unorganized. It upsetted me with the 2 different answers as to why the food never came. Hands down my favorite place to get fish in the DFW area. Consistency, Consistency! The fish is so good and seasoned so well you won t need tartar or cocktail sauce. We ordered the loaded tater baskets. I had the shrimp tater basket but without bacon. It ended up just being mashed potatoes, sprinkle of shredded cheese and some sour cream. Shrimps were tiny breaded pieces. The other basket looked a little better (link tater basket) my fiancé didn t like it. Overall it was very underwhelming for $17 a basket.

I Ordered Simply ,...some french fries and a salad,.. It took forty five minutes,.. for the Fries to come out Cold,.. I guess that one server did her best,..seeing that it was a full house .The only recourse that I was offered was a refund or some fresh fries,..I took the new fries,.Which was missing the extra seasoning I ordered ,.. This place was highly recommended via my co worker, since im new to the city, and I wanted to enjoy live music with my family. The atmosphere was nice, the live band was just setting up so we really didnt get to experience that part. The waitress had southern hospitality and very nice; however, when we voiced our opinion about a certain food the owner came over and was very defensive about my opinion of the food that I ordered. When I asked the owner can I replace this for something else because i was not satisfied with the taste, she asked why, I said because i dont want to eat something im not happy with, she then stated I normally dont this, but I will do it this time, because this is what you ordered with a nice/ nasty attitude. The cook came over also tried to convince me of what I was eating, because she cooked it. But the cook wasnt the issue, its the owner/ mgr whomever she is didnt offer to rectify the situation that I was just unhappy with MY order and she voiced her opinion and said I cook with integrity and the meat is seasoned with integrity so I will not be coming back the owner was the only problem I had.

Came in with a group. Only 1 server. Shes doing her absolute best to manage all tables. We eventually ordered and food is essentially coming out 1/2 at a time. But not in the order that were taken. However thats not the issue, I ordered a turkey burger, min veggies, came out fully loaded. Sent it back and they just took it off like that was ok. If I have allergies, taking off what I did I not ask for is not good enough. Its lazy and bc your busy with orders does not matter. Were paying for what we ordered not what you want to prepare. Some ordered came out ok, some never got their food. Then as we sat there as a group what appeared to be the owner or manager comes to ask if were having a meeting, we stated no, he proceeds to turn up the volume of the music as if we were not there talking. Regardless if its a meeting or not the message was if youre not having a meeting you need to move around. If my bill and generous tip despite the issues was $75, the table accumulative was easy $300 on a Saturday afternoon unexpectedly. Maybe, maybe not. Im usually open to give grace to try any place a second time...Waitress did her best.

The great things about this place was the live band and dj. I recommend the Catfish and Shrimp both were good. Chicken was the only other meat I tried (Lemon Pepper) and there was nothing special about it. Area of Improvement Need- Service The tables/booths that were available to sit at hadnt been cleaned. But we sat at 1 and awaited for someone to come gather the items and take our order as the front counter staff stated the waiters/waitresses like their tips if we ordered from the table. 30 min. later, no one had come to clean the tables nor take our order. I went back and ordered my food from the front counter at 9:24pm and was given a number on a stand for the table. I informed her that no one had come to our table to take the order or to clean it She said she would come do it after she takes the next few customer orders. In the meantime, we moved the dirty dishes to another table that needed to be cleaned. Someone did come shortly after and wipe our table. So the people that went there with me ordered their food about 10 mins. later. After 40 min. passed, they started getting their food. I asked the lady, how did they get their food before me? She worked the front counter and said she didnt know. She asked and looked at my ticket number and said she would check on it. 10 min. later, nothing. I went back to the counter and asked if a manager was there to speak to them. She told me yes and also asked to see my ticket again. She went to the back and came right back with my food order (an hr. since the order was placed) and asked if I wanted to wait on the manager or she could send her to my table. I said she could send her to my table. About 20 min later the front counter staff brings the food order for my table number from when I first ordered. (and it was missing an item). I didnt trip on the missing item as the problem had been rectified in a way. We left the establishment a little after 12am and I NEVER spoke to the manager. Would I go back again, idk. If I did, I would probably order online for pickup and take it into the main seating area.

We dined in for Sunday lunch and Bry took care of us and provided excellent service. She is very attentive and a breath of fresh air. Love her positive energy. Parking: Easy to park. It will get packed on certain evenings, so it may be a bit difficult to park; however, it is open and free so it works!!

The manger here is rude and unprofessional. I came to the zydeco lessons, and she felt the need to get in my face because I had a hood on . No where in the establishment does it say that hoods arent allowed. I have been to this restaurant several times wearing my hoodie or hat . Yet I was singled out as if there wasnt other people wearing a hoodie as well. I will never come back to this establishment, I spent over 100 dollars here today before this even occurred, not to mention I spend that amount every week here . I will be reporting this incident to the bbb, and the city of Dallas .

Ehhhh. We came here on a Wednesday night (to put the review into perspective) and it was hardly busy. There were several tables clear but there was equally a nice flow of traffic coming in and out. I agree the music is good and the atmosphere is nice, but that was about it for our visit. The waitress staff-very unprofessional. Our waitress, while walking up to take our order, handed another person her phone because apparently she didn t want to take the unknown call (I m hearing the conversation as they are close proximity to my family) but somewhere between taking our order and being complete with the task, the young lady hands her the phone back and she hurries to tell the person hold on and proceeds to finish our order. But before she can finish taking our order, another staff comes up to tell her about another table needing assistance. Aside from that, our server was literally hanging over our table (elbows and forearm flat on the table) and it was just an uncomfortable experience today. We didn t get checked on one time and the food was ok but it wasn t brought out right away so when we got it, maybe the things were ..warm but not as great from sitting. We spent almost a hundred dollars on 3 entrees. The service was not well enough for me to want to frequent this location. Parking: Plaza front parking lot. Kid-friendliness: Kids are allowed and the music is good for them. No profanity, etc.

I went here with my friend and he decided that he wanted to try another place and as we were leaving, as we have the right to do, we were ridiculed while walking out. Somebody (maybe the owner) said WHEW CHILLLLLEEEEEEEE!!!! Well to me that was very childish and ghetto. I normally don t dine in Duncanville establishments and this is the reason why. I like to go where my spirit won t be bothered by people. We ended up going to Kitchen and Kocktaiks and had a grand time. When someone leaves your establishment let them leave gracefully.
