Very quaint establishment. Although I went in with the intention to eat a little something with my drink, the kitchen was closed. I don t know if it was because it was Sunday but I had a couple of drinks that were very good. They were rather small and cost me $20 total, were very delicious. I can t bring My Queen Goddess here if the kitchen won t be open. That s wasn t a nice surprise. We like to eat! Overall I ll give it 3 stars!

It is a quite cozy place. The service is very good, prices are fair, the pool tables are in good condition, the place is very clean, smoking is not allowed inside. The only detail I saw is that the pool tables are very small...

Cool place. Love the Spanish music. Got charged $20 for 2 whiskey and cokes I thought I was being served wells, but I guess they default to the top shelf. My 1 whiskey and coke tasted just like coke. This is my second time here. I didnt think their liqour was that expensive here, but I guess thats just the way it is. The bartender who walked up to our table to take our order was friendly, but kind of aggressive. I was lightly pushed with their arm (obviously intentionally but playfully, like you would with someone you know) while in my seat sitting next to my date and told to move out of the way. The next time I come, Ill just speak spanish. Gracias por las vibras de música buenas y la comida tan buena de Smokies Kitchen (sus servicios son my buenos y amables) No me gusta que tiene un poco de hostilidad en el aire que oscura atrás de una sonrisa. If you re going to advertise this place as closing at 2am, stay open until then or at least be nice and apologetic about people driving to your bar and being sent back home because you decided to close 2.15 hours earlier. I was warned about this place, and didn t listen. Now i now not to return.

I do not mind going to holes in the wall.You think you would be greeted as a new face.NOT.I was not made to feel comfortable.I used to work in restaurants and I would not eat there in fear of getting diarrhea.I have been in filthier places and been treated like family.This place is in need of Jon Taffer of Bar Rescue t.v. show.

Nice little hole in the wall the shots are a pretty good price they have the pretty much basics Jameson good tequila nice selection of little beers theyre open till 12:00 I want to stay until Thursday and then on Friday and Thursday she keeps it open until s*** people go home

Not a safe place to be. Allowing people smokin weed and a lot of maras here. Felling very unconfortable. They dont serve import beers. Plus u have to pay for play at the pool, is not free. I wont return here. Dont bring your family here.

Ive been going here for over a year... Honestly great place to hang out...Weve had several birthday parties here...they have always helped out and made sure we have fun and taken care of. We were in Corpus Christi a couple weeks ago at a bar that was fun but when I asked for a Mexican candy shot...No good at all.... Nobody has the best Mexican candy shots than J Whiskeys Im sure we can all agree on that! The drinks are always good. J Whiskeys isnt just our bar..They are our family wouldnt have it any other way..Also the best DJs in Dallas..and the owner definitely makes everyone feel welcome.

We had a really great time! The food as good. The drinks were good. The music was mostly local artists and the good stuff that most of the 30 somethings in the area listened to. We will definitely be back! Dont be afraid to check them out bc of the neighborhood! It has an amazing atmosphere. A real place to just hang out without beef or fighting or normal hood ish.

Good music, everyone was so nice made me feel like I had been going for years. The drinks are amazing, not like most places who barely use alcohol. J. Whiskey had me feeling myself by the time I walked out. Oh man and don t let me get started on the food !! I m not even over exaggerating, let YOUR taste buds be the judge! Everything on the menu man is absolutely delicious and very affordable. So far I haven t been to any other bar since I stepped into J Whiskey.
