Revelers Hall is the heartbeat and rhythm of bishop arts! Its always a good time with great music and drinks! Over the last few months, this place has gotten even better. I believe its because of the new management in place. From the service, food, drinks, music, and just overall vibe, Revelers Hall does not miss a beat! Definitely will be a treat to yourself when you visit. My personal favorite sets to catch are the Reveners Hall Band on Saturday or Sunday and Shelly Carroll on Wednesdays.

In the heart of the Bishop Arts District, this vibrant, adorable hole-in-the-wall, is exactly what you re looking for, for a place to listen to live music by some of the greater Dallas finest musicians from UTA-UNT! Lounge music to big band, this place is great. The service and their food are exquisite! Adelina, Kemi, and Alyx are so full of personality and treat you like a friend more than a customer. Super gifted in their craft. I had The Butler flat bread which is hands down, without question, the most flavorful, delicious flat bread, I ve ever had. It s a small venue so if you don t prefer loud music, this place may or may not be for you. Parking can be tricky at times; but please consider this place for a weekend experience!

I love this place and have been going for years. I ordered water to start and sat down. I was going to order a drink while I waited for a friend but was harassed for the $6 band cover charge which I am well aware of and pay every time, tip the bar tenders and band. Very disappointed as I was celebrating my birthday!

New Orleans-style jazz bar with love music nightly. The vibe is always great. Good spot for a group, or a date, or a solo time out. The spot has friendly regulars and kitchen for hot food options. Wheelchair accessibility: Lower bar area near the band is particularly great.

I recently visited Revelers and had a disappointing experience due to the behavior of a rude patron. As I was enjoying my time, this individual began pushing people out of the way, which was quite disruptive. I felt it was necessary to address the situation, so I asked her to excuse herself for her behavior. Unfortunately, instead of resolving the issue, I was asked to leave the establishment by a mustached bartender . This experience left a negative impression, as it seemed the management prioritized the disruptive patron over the comfort of other guests. I hope they can address such behavior in the future to ensure a more pleasant environment for everyone. Not just people they know. The rest of the staff where very professional and attentive.

Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory due to the service provided by the FEMALE bartenders last night July 13th. Brought a group of friends to celebrate my bday and clearly was the worst decision . the staff started to scream and say bad words to one of the ladies we met at the bar and one of my friend. Around 2:02 am they screamed get the * FK OUT They both flicked the finger at them for no reason. We also noticed a 20 % gratuity was included . I have always enjoyed visiting your place but this experience was quite disappointing. I hope this feedback can be used constructively to improve the service for future patrons.

Warning to all women: beware of the bartender here! I visited with friends and was shocked by the bartenders rude and condescending attitude towards us. She seemed jealous of the attention we received from other patrons and took it out on us. Slow service, wrong drinks, and a whole lot of eye-rolling. When we tried to politely address the issues, he became defensive and hostile. It was like she was intimidated by our presence. The atmosphere was uncomfortable and sexist. Needless to say, we wont be back. One star, and thats only because I cant give zero.

Extremely disappointing experience. The bartender was completely uninterested in serving us, and it showed. Long wait times, incorrect orders, and a condescending attitude when we tried to address the issues. Felt like we were a burden to them. The atmosphere was tense and unwelcoming. Unfortunately, we wont be returning. Service can make or break a place, and in this case, it was a definite break. One star, and thats being generous.

Food was ick. The guy working was nice and did his best to make us happy, but the girl was terrible. I asked how the wings were cooked cuz Im allergic if theyre breaded and fried. They came out exactly the way I said I couldnt eat them and then acted like I was the problem when I said Im allergic. Then she told her friends on the other side of the bar and they sat over there making fun of us and I could tell that they were talking about us even though its noty fault that I cant eat food that way. The guy was nice enough to trade out for the fries, but they were mush. He apologized and was sincere, but the girl that was supposed to wait us could care less.

Charging automatic 20% gratuity for one person sitting by himself is just not okay. I would have tipped that as a minimum anyways but to just automatically do it without giving your customer a choice is wrong. I only saw the server one time, and that was after waiting 25 minutes to get served. The next time I saw him was an hour later when I was asking for a check. So basically for a one drink plus his gratuity and the music fee which was expected, I paid $51.30 . Now I stopped coming here for a while because the service was just terrible and I can see that nothing has changed. It s unfortunate.

Super disappointed. I really wanted to like this place. The music was amazing, the drinks were incredible, but the back table was in such disarray that it fell over and spilled two drinks in my lap. The bartender came over and said, it happens. What?! No, tables falling over on customers doesnt just happen. Get your table fixed. You caused a customer to spill drinks in their lap because youre too cheap to fix your table? No excuse. One star.

Theres amazing music, good food, great service on Thursday nights. I highly recommend coming a little earlier than any music guest set because seating is limited. The doors are always open so you can sit outside if you have a large group this is actually the best option. Though many guests do smoke on the front patio. So be mindful of that if your group is not comfortable with smoking. The drink selection for liquor particularly is good. There are plenty of shops close by that are eclectic and a fun way to make a day or night out of any visit to Revelers. Come hungry because the food is great! I believe they add $6 to your tab and gratuity when there is live music.

I really want to give this place 5 stars and it started out that way when we first sat down with our lovely bartender who first served us. She was friendly, fun and inviting. Things went south as soon as two other bartenders showed up and acted as though we were a bother and loathsome. I m not sure how someone in the service industry expects to be treated in turn but I know that if you treat my wife in particular nicely and give her good to excellent service, she will reward that service beyond your expectations. She worked in the industry in many capacities and still has the connections to make or break someone s career. So always, always be careful as to how you treat your customers ..and when I ask why you are throwing attitude at me, I am asking for a reason. I promise it was a hint. Our bill was $80 and she still left the other bartender a $100 tip. Why? Because that is who she is and she would have done the same for you. I sure hope you didn t reap any of that reward, because your service and treatment on your customers was despicable. You have no business dealing with the general public. This place has plenty of potential and as stated previously, we were having plenty of fun until these two bartenders arrived and made it beyond uncomfortable and awkward for us. Unfortunate situation for all because we got up and left and took our money elsewhere.

I have always enjoyed the music here but the tipping/cover charge situation is honestly very confusing unlike other establishments in the city. Other places usually have a person at the door collecting the cover as you walk in. But here, there is only a small sign at the door that often gets overlooked when its crowded which says $6 music fee. So unless you see the sign, it is easy to assume that there is no cover to come in and you can tip the band at your leisure since the band also has a cash tip jar. The last time I was here, a bartender was walking around to everyone individually in the audience to ask for the $6 music fee during the performance. How does the bartender keep track of who left a cash tip in the tip jar and who hasnt? I am also a musician so I find it very disruptive to the audience enjoying the performance, and highly disrespectful to the musicians performing when someone is slyly walking around asking for a music fee DURING a performance. In my opinion, it is more professional to be upfront with customers AT THE DOOR and collect the music fee as they walk in rather than disrupt the performance to request music fees or add additional costs on the closing tab without informing the customer first.

Tonight I needed to unwind. Revelers Hall was right on time. Nice atmosphere. Excellent service by Alex. Cool live music. Chill vibe. Tasty food and drinks. Had the Cuban and Painless Kill.

Honestly LOVE the vibes, but the bartender Casper was AWFUL! He would ignore us, he wouldn t even try to serve us. He was very arrogant and made many customers uncomfortable. I would try to talk to him about this, or blatantly just fire him.

I was charged five times in one night and my bank held the funds for a week. Was not happy with that, tried calling the location multiple times with no answer and no answering machine. Be careful using your cards at this establishment! One extra would have been understandable but this was ridiculous. Over $100 of my money held by them. The atmosphere was great. Disappointed in this issue. Would have loved to go back.

Revelers hall was an awesome experience. The bands were fun and lively. The drinks were great. But the bartenders were world class!!! Awesome to watch them serve the mob of people with a expertise and a smile. Definitely a must visit if you re in Bishop Arts!

What a great time! Drinks were tasty and the live music was even better! Good size crowd service was attentive. Had indoor seating and ample outdoor seating. If your into great live jazz music this is well worth the time! Would I go again? Yes! Parking can be a challenge as you may have have to walk a bit or use the valet parking.

My first jazz bar experience in Dallas and they had a Mac Miller tribute by the Congo Square. It was jammed packed around 8:40 but we were able to sit with some nice strangers in the back booth. There s a $6 cover that night and drinks were mighty strong but flavors were enlightening. Gave me New York vibes<3

Girl behind the bar with the blonde curly hair was so rude. I asked for two limes with my tequila soda and she refused and said I could only have one like sorry if the limes are coming out of your paycheck. I didn t mean to offend you.

Treat yourself post Covid to Vida! Sun afternoon and Tues night winners. Revelers Hall House Band with Sun Ra devotion. Eyes closed could be anywhere. Talented musicians; quality sound system. Hard cocktails! Super casual - not high jazz leather seating. Devotees groove to the gospel without fear.

Fun spot, bar service and small space. I guess you have to show up early to sit somewhere. Outside they didnt have their heaters on. I think Ill be back in the spring. Like I said: Fun, but a little off in certain things. Oh the band was great, and the people we encountered also

Gosh, what a lovely venue. We caught a jazz set there and were thrilled with the ambiance and the drinks. The old fashioned I had was probably the best I have ever had. Great vibe, great service, and fantastic jazz. Looking forward to returning.
