We had a very nice time at Jazz TX. We had a few drinks, enjoyed a meal, and the band was good. We even got in a few dances. I hope to come back a little more regular. The bartender is not a craft bartender so don t expect fancy drinks. Stay as basic as possible. I had the nachos with everything and wished I had stuck with just chicken would have been better for me than beef and chicken. My husband enjoyed his sandwich and onion rings. The food is decent bar food. Again, don t expect anything fancy. You re bound to have a good time. Also, there are many people that come here on a regular basis.

Holding at a 1 STAR til I attempt this place again. Came in to eat and have a few drinks, but immediately walked in the door and felt unwelcome. Everyone in the bar whipped around and stared at me and my guest...but nobody said 2 words to us. I had to walk up to the bar and ask if the kitchen was open and was told, NO, which was around 8:30pm when hours of operation are listed til 2am. We decided not to stay due to this as we wanted both food and beverages. If I want the dive bar scene with friendly staff, I will continue to go to Scooters down the road. I will update this review when I am able to actually sit and eat, but if the same experience happens as it did tonight, they will definitely not get any of my $$$.

This is really a great place. Kinda a locals place. They provide good food. Great music on the weekends. Quiet place, pours are good. Pricing just like anywhere else in Dallas and Richardson. Great jute box with good speakers. Owner Dee is sweet. Just trying to make a living. It s worth it to check it out.

I ve been with a friend earlier today Saturday and a lady apparently the server, no name tag, told uf that that is a private club and she had to run our ID to get a drink. Run our ID? That sound like a scam place. One thing is checking the ID and another is run the IDs. Nowhere is advertised as a private bar.

Great little hole in the wall type bar. Extremely friendly staff. Good food. You can often come in and hear some live music. You can shoot some pool or play trivia or just watch sports or whatever on one of the TVs. The regulars often treat you as if youre a regular. All around good atmosphere and good people.

Lone Star Roadhouse is a great little neighborhood bar, with dance floor, frequent live entertainment and other events. The menu is typical bar food but its well prepared and comes out piping hot, staff is friendly and responsive. If youre looking for a no- frills kind of place to hear great cover bands, this is it.

I went here on a Wednesday night for a new karaoke venue, but have been going here for many years for food specials they offered and karaoke! They have had a pretty decent menu for a bar and grill, and we always liked their Thursday special of smothered pork chops with sides, but due to the Covid-19 restrictions, they had to downsize their menu temporarily! They did have live band entertainment most weekends, but not sure about that now since the coronavirus! They have same restrictions as most restaurants! Dee is the owner, and she always makes me a great White Russian! Check out the karaoke night with Jon Bell as KJ!
