Mediocre, to say the least. Starting with the parking, I was not very happy that they did not have any self parking, only valet. And we waited for a while for the valet, and no one ever came. So, I parked in a handicap spot (yes, I have handicap parking), and we went in. A valet ended up coming into the bar to find us and told us that we were not allowed to park there, which I dont think is legal (could be wrong, but I doubt it). Though I did appreciate that they made the effort to find us. The bar itself didnt have any wine except house, and no high-end liquor at all. It was a little disappointing, but not totally terrible.

It was a very bad experience, and i wish i could give ZERO STARS. So, me and my boyfriend went there around 9pm and we came to know that its closed. We had our reservations and even we called before we left for the restaurant. We were so pissed off and the staff they really didn t care, nobody even came to apologize for what happened. And i was shocked because i went there all the way from Montreal to experience and its ridiculous the reason they gave because it was raining REALLY!!!! I have never experienced this kind of response WOW. Dallas you disappointed me and never going back again.

Probably great atmosphere when the staff are better at their jobs and more interested in customer service. We arrived at 10:45 and were told it was last call and no food service because the kitchen was closed. Not even in a friendly way. Took our drink orders and then just said, By the way, its last call. We ordered drinks and sat down at the bar. Fifteen minutes later, a gentleman came in and was told it was last call, and so he left. Drinks were $14ea. Food that I noticed was about $12-18 on the menu. The bartender already closed the register and was talking to an Australian couple about how much he would love touring Australia with a local couple who were enjoying the conversation. I think his name was Joe, a tall, slender young man with long curly hair. My partner and I are drinking our drinks, watching the game. Another couple comes in at 11:15 and they are again told the bar is closed, but he serves her a glass of wine and they charge it to their room. At this point, the four of us go out on the terrace, probably a great view in summer when its warmer and lighter outside. We chat briefly about the closing time, which clearly states midnight on the website. We go downstairs to buy a bottle of water from the front desk. The concierge tells us they can close whenever they want based on business and that it is owned by a separate company, not Marriott. I just saw a bartender serve two couples beer and turn away teo other couples and a single guy who may have ordered multiple drinks and food. Lesson learned: Dont waste time with HQ Rooftops no matter where they are. If youre staying in a hotel and hoping to wind down after a night out before going to bed, just skip it. Go somewhere with actual business hours and better service. You can get better food and drinks at comparable prices without the disappointment. Vegetarian options: Not many vegetarian options. Definitely nothing vegan on the menu. They have a cesar salad, a quesadilla they could probably make without the chicken and bacon, and a basket of fries with two aiolis. Kid-friendliness: Dont bring kids here.

This Saturday July 8th 2023 around 9 pm I called in this HQ rooftop to ask few questions about the availability of their service, and this lady at the front desk picked up the phone and was very unpleasant, rude and disrespectful to my person. She yelled on the phone and hung up on me for no reason. I believe she does that to many people. Do not go to this place as they are have a very unprofessional staff who can barely respond to customer s questions normally. The level of disrespect at this place is unacceptable.

A great bar in a fantastic location with views of many of the Dallas iconic sites. The views are phenomenal and the atmosphere relaxing and fun. As I had had dinner, I didn t take advantage of the food menu, but the food (Bistro type food) looked yummy.

Very limited signage.. Not sure where to go... Looks like outside elevator?? On top of courtyard hotel.. Was closed on a Saturday night for a private birthday party...! Glad I took a ride over to make it before midnight when it closes.. sarcasm...

We hosted my wifes birthday party at HQ Dallas and it was amazing. Incredible venue, incredible views, and staff was great, and Stacey and Eugene went above and beyond to make sure it was unforgettable. We would definitely go back!

Staying here at the hotel and so decided to check this out . Fantastic Views of Dallas area , good seating and environment. Bartender poured great drinks and was supper attentive to our drinks . Drinks were good prices for hotel and food we got meatballs and flat bread , nothing special but delicious. Definitely will come back to visit tomorrow evening

Views are nice. Food takes a while (mine took about 30 mins and was only one at 5pm) to come up from kitchen. Typical beers and cocktails. Ample and varied seating. Mediterranean Grain Bowl was tasty with tender chicken but wouldnt plan visit for it, maybe for the views. Definitely visit if youre a guest below.
