Very bland and just not good. We did not finish our pad Thai or lo mein which you would think are pretty safe options. Love the fact they have gluten free options, but they really need to ramp up the menu.

The food was very good. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and gluten-free dishes. Be careful with bubble teas - some varieties have flour in the bubbles. Be sure to ask. The one with mango was gluten free. Parking: You can park in front of the shop.

Pad Thai was very small. It came in a small to go dish. If you re going to use a small container, at least fill it up close to the top (it was %60 full). I counted 5 thin pieces of beef. I ate the whole thing and I was still hungry so that means I have to order two pad Thais to be satisfied and I m only a 135 pound guy. And don t blame it on shrink-flation because this was my same experience years ago. I knew I shouldn t have gave those stingy people my money.

Has to be the tastiest curry in Corpus Christi. If youre new to Thai spices, stick to the mild for starters. Bursting with flavor and wont disappoint. Update: asked for mild on a delivery. It was so spicy, I couldnt eat it. After my past deliveries, Im super disappointed with their lack of fulling basic requests. Food

The food was lacking in the seasoning and spice department, and the Crying Tiger beef was barely edible. The cut of beef was extremely tough, and its obvious that the chef was unaware that this type of meat must have the silver skin and gristle removed prior to cooking and serving. In defense of the waitress, she did offer to bring us a replacement dish, but we didnt feel good about trying our luck with another option. Even though this place apparently has a favorable rating, I cant recommend giving it a try. Sorry

Really delicious!! I went in so late, about 850pm, not knowing they close late. They could have turned us away, but they took my full order ($120.00) worth. Thank you so much. Plus 4 boba drinks! To go order was delicious. The shrimp with bellpeppers was the only gross item. Tasted just fully of peppers. We didnt eat that. Place is simple and had a variety of little food items you can buy. The seating was a small area as well. Looked clean.

We stopped by Nom s on our way to Port A based on a recommendation from friends in Austin, and they were absolutely right about the food! We started with the Tom Kha soup, which perfectly balanced sweet and savory flavors. The Nam salad was fresh and delightful, and the Pad Se Ew with chicken was simply to die for highly recommend getting it at a medium spice level.

May 2024 Update: Food is still decent and service is good, prices have gone up a little but the bottled drinks on the shelf had long gone expiry dates. We reported this and they took back the bottled drink we bought immediately but we had to remind them to take it off the bill which they promptly did; The disturbing thing when we reported the drinks with expiry dates (even 6 or 8 months past expiry date) they were left on the shelf even after our reporting them. Doesn t give us too much confidence that they maintain high standards for the food and drink they sell. May 2023: Having spent a lot of time in Thailand and rest of Asia, I get excited when I encounter a place that has authentic food to offer. Nom s seems to be one such place for authentic Thai food in Texas. We ordered the papaya salad, green curry and pad see ew and they were all very good. Lot of great options on the menu and food is tasty. The portions were also generous. Decent variety for vegetarians as well. Spoke to the owner Nom when ordering and she was pleasant and friendly, although she had a very hard time with writing down my name but it was all in good humor. Good location and highly recommended for anyone in the Corpus Christi area! May 2023: On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being best Food - 9 Location - 9 Service - 9 Atmosphere - 9 Price - 9 Overall Value - 9

Ordered for take out and could tell immediately by the color alone that the food was going to be bland. I got the pineapple fried rice and it just tasted like buttery rice with a tiny bit of canned pineapple juice. Very disappointed because other reviews seemed so good. Cant speak to other food or dine in experience as we are just visiting, but at the very least I would avoid this one particular dish

There was a slight wait when I came here for lunch around 1pm on a weekday. The service was okay. One of my family member felt ignored by the waiter because he had to get her attention to let her know he wanted to order as well. The food was okay. I got the yellow curry. I liked everything in it but the onions tasted a bit old. It was a good portion for me since I had to take the rest home. The papaya salad was good and spicy. The shrimp wasnt too bad.

Food is decent but service is poor. We went to dine in but the restaurant was full. When we asked the lady at the front desk (owner?) about the wait time, she was very rude to us. The wait list was disorganized and there was no way to know how long the actual wait time was or how many people were ahead of us. We ended up ordering take out as it was too late to go to another restaurant. I think it is best to get take out from this place as the food was okay.

We visited this restaurant last time we were in Port Aransas and loved it. The food is so delicious, fresh, and flavorful. The best part is that the food is not swimming in oil! We ordered the tofu soft spring roll, chicken satay, son tum lao (papaya salad), stir fried mixed veggies with chicken and a panang curry. The peanut sauce that came with the spring roll and chicken satay was so incredibly fresh. It tasted like it was made with actual peanuts that had been blended up. I ordered a medium spice level papaya salad and it was accurate to the spice level. The stir fried mixed veggies with chicken were a little bland for my liking, but when I paired it with the Penang curry, it was perfect! When I opened the Penang curry, it was so aromatic and smelled so good. Note: we did take out and ordered online

Our first visit to Nom s did not disappoint. We were served by the owners Nom and her husband who made our experience special. Nom s is coming up on their 3rd anniversary, their success is due to the wonderfully delicious food. We enjoyed the fresh rolls which were served with a generous amount of delicious peanut sauce. We also had the Yum Nam crispy rice salad which was complex with many flavors incorporated and with an amazing crunch factor from the crispy rice and small pieces of pork rind. The Pad Thai was on point and the Fried wings served with sticky rice was so so good! We will definitely add the restaurant to our top 5 list for our trips to North Padre and will highly recommend to our circle of friends.

Everything is amazing. As a family we ve had green curry, yellow curry, pineapple fried rice, pad Thai, and the chicken wings which have a sweet fish sauce glaze. A warning: Everything is a spice level higher than every other Thai restaurant I ve been to. So if you re used to hot, get medium the first time. I just had hot and while it hit the spot, I will happily spend the rest of my life not knowing what Thai hot is like. UPDATES: (after read the answer from the owner) If your restaurant charge 3.99%, its should be charge after SUBTOTAL, not on each items like that. All the POS systems add % after subtotal. And let s me tell you. We PAID BY CASH. Not debit/credit. You re still lie, I ll remove 2* & give you 1* . Food is good, service is good. BUT the price on receipt is NOT MATCH with the menu price. That is NOT GOOD. You guys need to updates or reduce price for matching. Don t cheat customers like that

I was excited to see chicken larb on the menu (my fave) and where it had great flavor, I was not impressed with the rice powder in it. Every bite had small unground pieces of raw rice that were hard to chew and got stuck in my teeth. Id never had larb with that texture before. The menu indicated it was Thai Spicy but I would consider it mild and had to ask for chili oil. My toddler enjoyed the tofu lo mein along with my husbands crying tiger beef. Which my husband said was not spicy either and had to add extra chili oil. The peanut sauce that came with our spring rolls was amazing! Service was excellent and experience overall was a good one.

Visited Noms Kitchen small place with an extensive Thai menu. My server Stephanie guided me to a table and I ordered a Singha Beer and decided to try the Crispy Fish w/Sweet & Sour with fried versus plain rice (was a $1 upcharge). The dish looks good and you are initially hit with the pungent sweet & sour fragrance. You have three fish patties, I asked if they were are hand breaded and fresh and Steph indicated they were. Overall the dish is OK for me I didn t care for the breading on the fish and I doubt these are freshly breaded and fried...way to consistent in the breading. The flavors of sweet & sour just did not work for me either and the fried rice was just average. Overall an OK meal but not one I would order again.

Delicious Thai food. Just moved to the area and my partner and I are obsessed with Thai food. I ordered the green curry which was spicy and fantastic. He ordered the drunken noodles which were also tasty. No panang curry on the menu yet but were told its coming. We look forward to trying their panang and will definitely be back! The service was also great. Check it out if youre in the mood for good Thai Vegetarian options: Most dishes offer a vegetable or tofu option Parking: Small parking lot thats shared with several other stores/ restaurants Kid-friendliness: Plenty of kids in there today and they seemed satisfied with their food.

The spring rolls and beef fried rice were memorable, absolutely delicious. The service was good, food prep was fast. We were approached by a lady, who turned out to be part of a large lunch group, passing out religious propaganda. She made a stop at every table and was obviously known by the restaurant management. Kinda weird.

Their crab rangoons (daily special) were some of the best Ive had in CC. However, their yellow curry was very thin and not the best Ive had. I prefer BKK or Thai cottages yellow curry. Stir fried veggies were good as my husband finished his plate. Overall, not my first choice for thai food but a decent fare for the island.

This place is just okay and I was a bit disappointed based on ratings about authenticity. Pad see you basically had no vegetables and not much flavor. The meat was dry and chewy. The wings were just okay.

Absolutely delicious. If youre visiting Corpus Christi for a few days and want to try different things, I would just come here and go through the menu, one thing at a time. Maybe you can go one day to Docs and then come back. Everything so far has been awesome, especially the larb, pompano, fried rice and pad see eew. The mild has been mild except maybe the green curry (slightly more spicy than the other mild dishes). The best appetizer was the fried egg roll. The egg drop soup is not written on the menu but it is pretty good and custardy. The wait for the pompano is absolutely worth it, it was phenomenal. The sauce is super delicious and the fish is very tasty. If youve never tried pompano, take this chance! Vegetarian options: Many dishes allows to choose a protein and tofu is an option. Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and staff was very friendly with our baby.

I love Thai in general so I was looking for somewhere else that could bring out food and not put oyster sauce, egg, fish, pork or any other kind of meat as I am a vegetarian. I went to this restaurant with my family and was completely surprised , I only said I was a veg and the waiter said ok so no , oyster sauce, pork , egg , or fish. To be honest you never see that amazing service anywhere. The food came out and it was amazing, the food was so flavorful and there was many options for vegetarian dishes. There was even a mini store out front! The ambience was so amazing and was an overall a great experience for Thai food!! I give it 5 stars and would definitely recommend for lunch or dinner.

I visited Nom s Kitchen and was thoroughly impressed with both the service and the food. The staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure our experience was top-notch from start to finish. Our waiter made sure to listen to our dietary restrictions, and confirmed them multiple times. The food was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of flavors and spices that all came together perfectly. We especially enjoyed the pineapple fried rice and the drunken noodles both of which were cooked to perfection. Overall, it was an exceptional dining experience and I definitely would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The food is really terrible. My husband says it s the worst curry he has ever had by 10xs! So that s pretty bad. Luckily there were some very large lettuce leaves on my plate and my son and I could hide most of our inedible food underneath. All four things were equally horrible. Do yourself a favor and eat anywhere else.

Excellent food... very nice service! My wife ate Drunken Noodles with shrimp and I had Tom Kha with shrimp (kund). Both dishes were fantastic! The music they played was a very nice addition to the food. One year later and how things have changed. Prices are much higher and the quality and taste of the food was much lower. Maybe they have a new cook? I ordered Chicken Satay appetizer and it did not help my appetite. The chicken was tough and difficult to chew. The peanut sauce was not that great either. My wife requested her food to be spicy but it was really pretty mild.

This is great food in a pleasant, clean atmosphere. Our hostess was so nice when my wife and I went there for lunch with another couple and chatted with us for a while about her life in Thailand. The food was good, hot, and was presented beautifully when it was brought to us. At the end of the meal, the hostess included a nice military discount and she let us know of her husband who served. Well be back and soon!

Everything was delicious. Kid went on about how heavenly the pineapple fried rice was for days. The pad thai was perfect and the green curry had a complex and balanced flavor. Everyone was super friendly to boot. A warning though: I usually don t find spicy hot enough. Well adjust your expectations because this place nailed it. I don t even know what Thai Spicy is like and at this point I m afraid to ask.

I m from Asia, Malaysia to be exact (Thailands neighbor) so if anyone knows Asian food, it would be me because I come from that part of the world, and I know what is Americanized and what is not. I must say that this has been one of the most authentic Thai restaurants not only in Corpus Christi but the whole of Texas. Malaysian food and Thai food can be pretty similar at times, so this place reminds me of home. I ll rate their authenticity 9/10 for sure! Can t wait to go back there again.

Great Thai food, not just for the island but in general. We had the drunken noodles and Pad Thai and it was better than most we can get in Austin. Good vegetarian options as well which is hard on the island. Only disappointment is that they didnt ask me the spice level on the phone so we just got the default which was not spicy, but otherwise it was excellent overall.
