Dont negatively judge this place by the fact its attached/in the mall! They have flavorful, well cooked burgers/wings along with vegetarian fair. There was at least one family dining in when we ate there, and there were a few couples and ate as well. The atmosphere is conducive to both a nice family meal or a casual date. I will say that dont go in expecting your regular ranch rub, garlic, or generic spicy wings, if you go for wongsy. You have multiple, other tasty options for sauces (and you can melt your face off, if you want), but I would recommend trying their sauce samples before committing to one. My group enjoyed their burgers, and I greatly enjoyed my chickpea bites and yellow rice! Delicious!

First time to eat at Peri Peri Republic , really enjoyed it. I had looked at the menu online and picked out one item that I wanted to try. The Espetada plate with spicy rice and medium heat sauce for the chicken. It was fantastic. The chicken was cooked perfectly. The veggies complemented the chicken . The rice was excellent also. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I look forward to the next visit .

When me and my girlfriend first noticed the restaurant, it looked interesting and we pondered heading inside for a look. We looked at the outside menu first and by the outside menu, it didn t look very appetizing but we decided to try it out anyways and heading in, we saw a much better menu! The menu online could use more pictures as guide but the food was immaculate and the proportion sizes are amazing. I got the spicy chicken sandwich though I can t recall the name and my girlfriend got the chicken panini. Overall, we re impressed and we will return

Peri Peri Republic is a hidden gem! The flavors are absolutely incredible, with the perfect blend of spices in every dish. We tried their family feast, mojitos and mango lassi. The chicken was very tender and juicy, flavorful, and had just the right amount of heat. The sides were equally delicious, especially the peri peri fries and coleslaw. Might be my favorite chicken burger in the area. Great service, clean, and reasonable prices. We came here after seeing the great reviews online and have to say it more than exceeded our expectations. We came for the lunch special and ended up getting an appetizer and dessert as well. We loved everything and the service was so amazing. I recommend trying the Manganese sauce they have in the coolers. This restaurant is a true hidden gem! We came in honestly not expecting much because its a mall restaurant, but we were blown away. Were not regulars and love getting the chicken wings, fries, and potato salad. The wings and fries are always super crispy and the sauces are sooooo good. I recommend the lemon & herb and the mango chilli!! The sauces in the fridge for the fries are also A+!! My only warning is that the service cant be a little slower than expected for a wing restaurant. That wait is 100% worth it just make sure you plan for it. Good cooking takes time :)

I had a great experience at Peri Peri Republic. The service was great. I ordered the family chicken platter and two mango lassi. The space is great and considering is in the mall, its great that has its own restaurant space inside so you feel that you are not in the mall. The chicken is juicy and properly flavored, its really a gem and the lassi is so nice and fresh. Its a great value for the money. You can sample the different sauces before you choose the one you want for your plate. I ordered take out for my family and everything was so well sealed to make sure it would get home ok. I can not recommend it more, hoping to come next to dine in.

The chicken tenders are crisp, not greasy, and real white meat. Rice is flavorful but not too much so for the kids and they have at least eight amazing sauces to add flavor and heat. Skewers were scrumptious and the quarter chicken legit. I am now addicted to their mango dessert which is saying something because I dont like sweets and especially fruity ones. The heat on the mango chili sauce played well with the sweetness of the mango. The bbq sauce didn t disappoint all very spicy. Enjoyed the fresh veggies in the rice and it too was well seasoned. I wasn t a fan of the sauce on the salad, but the overall freshness was needed with the meal & the mango drink was thick but delicious. I went here for lunch with two others, and we all thought our dishes were great! I personally got the paneer and rice bowl, and I loved it! The paneer was in a skewer with slices of crunchy, perfectly cooked bell pepper, and the paneer itself had nice sauce coating and char lines on it. It too had a great texture. I got to taste the chicken, and it was some of the juiciest chicken Ive ever had (note: unless you get tenders, the chicken will benon the bone). The rice I got, spicy rice, was a pretty yellow color, well seasoned/cooked, and had slight kick. Here, you can pick any sauce you want. The sauces were flavorful, but not as spicy as expected. If you dont like spice, you can definitely handle the sauces offered, but if you really enjoy spicy food, you may want to bring your own sauce or powder. Even the spiciest sauce was tame in my opinion. The portion sizes were pretty big, and I was definitely full once I finished my food. The guy at the ordering counter was very friendly! We were watching a game of cricket on the TV, and we asked him to explain it to us, which he happily did. I really appreciated it. One thing I noticed: under the burgers & wraps section of the menu, I only saw burger options and no wrap options. Not sure why that is, maybe I didnt look hard enough? TLDR: This place has awesome, flavorful food with good portion sizes! Id say its 4.75 stars. Ill be eating here again for sure! Please give it a try and support this business! When I first moved here 9 yrs ago, I thought Lakeline Mall was so nice, had plenty of stores I liked shopping at, and best of all was close by. Not sure whats going on but Im sure wed all agree, it cld be better. Friday night gave me hope bc we only had a limited time before we caught a movie at AMC, and still needed to eat! We thought about the food court but then we peered into Peri-Peri Republic, curious about what type of food they serve (I love food from all over the world). We walk in, and the large space gave off a romantic ambiance, with its beautiful decor, color scheme and lighting. Unbelievably, the place was empty. They had a large variety of food, Id call it Mediterranean-American fusion. From falafel to grilled chicken burgers with deliciously seasoned French fries, even their house salad had more to it than any other restaurants version. The lady who helped us was not only friendly, she was eager to have us taste test their delicious sauces, just like the show Hot Ones! ranging from no spice to very. Food portions were generous and the price was beyond fair. If youre not afraid of trying new food or exploring other culture, or even if u want the tastiest French fries ever, please give this place a chance because Id hate for another restaurant near us fail!

We spent $60 including tip on 2 chicken tender bowls, pita and hummus, falafel, and sweet potato fries. The cashier was nice and explained the sauce choices and answered our questions. The food came out pretty quick. The food itself was pretty good. Both us and our kids liked it. The visit went downhill when midway through the meal I crunched down on rocks in our falafel. Maybe the chickpeas werent sorted through that well, idk? I told the cashier and handed him the rocks, and asked him to tell someone. We waited to hear from a manager or even anyone at all, but literally no one came to speak with us about what happened. I was sharing that same falafel with my one year old, and Im really disappointed that no one could be bothered to talk to us about the incident. So while the food tasted good, I dont think well be returning due to the lack of care concerning customers.

Their service is quick and friendly, and you can try a variety of sauces made in house to have on your chicken. The piri piri chicken is phenomenal, and that fragrant long grain rice that comes with it is a showstopper itself. The chicken comes with 2 side sauces, the garlic sauce and morrocco sauce, and each add a different flavor to the chicken. I also recommend trying the coleslaw, its fresh, crispy, and has a delightful sweetness to it. Eating in the restaurant enhanced the experience. The restaurant is clean, has mellow lighting, and they usually have upbeat music playing.

Owner is extremely considerate, hardworking, and a marketing genius. He showed us the kitchen (from afar) and took pride in explaining how he keeps it clean. He s passionate about food and you can tell just by sharing a few words. Amazing restaurant!

They had cute little fires with lights, amazing decoration, and yummy sauces that you can try! I ordered the chicken burger with a pretzel bun and IT WAS SO GOOD. The bun was buttery and the chicken was crispy and the fries were delicious! The waffle fries had delicious seasoning and the owner came to help us with the sauce bottles, spices, and recommendations! Awesome service, food, and overall cleanliness.

Agree with others: It has its own entrance at the edge of the mall. The inside spacious and well Decorated. We had the lunch specials - chicken leg and thigh with rice and sides. The chicken is very tender and juicy! Best of all the lunch special is a great value and it is healthy but still tastes good. Love the access to additional Sauces esp the garlic sauce. You can customize the spice level - mild to spicy! Will go back and try it again and grab a mango lassi next time.

What a wonderful place to have very tasty food in the Mall. This has its own entrance and the ambiance is pretty good. The place is well kept and most importantly, they have some wonderful sauces to try. The people there are very friendly and we were a group of 7 who sat very comfortably and enjoyed our meal. The Potato patties, chicken tenders, Shrimp over rice and Hummus and bread are few of the most enjoyable dishes with special peri peri fries. We had two kids and they enjoyed the meal as well. This is definitely going to be our spot to eat, even when we are not going to the mall. You can follow the AMC cinema entrance and it is right opposite to the AMC theaters. Once last thing: their drinks are pretty great, dry Mango lassi and mint mojito (non-alcoholic). Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options to choose from.

The people here are extremely nice! They explained the menu to us and let us try out the different sauces before we ordered so we knew what to pick. The food tasted incredible and we loved the relaxing atmosphere. I ordered the paneer and asked what sauce is recommended. They said the orange sauce, and it did not disappoint! I also got the grilled chicken wings with the mild sauce. We dipped them in the white garlic sauce. AMAZING.This will be a new go-to spot for our moms -night-out, but I know my husband and kiddo will enjoy their food and atmosphere as well. I got the mango custard dessert to go and it is amazing! They have good coffee and chai drinks as well. It s a great place to have a nice meal, talk, and grab coffee/tea and/or dessert while you linger over conversation. Looking forward to going back soon! Dietary restrictions: My husband is allergic to dairy and eggs. He can t eat at many restaurants but he has a lot of options here. Kid-friendliness: My kiddo could easily find something to eat here. They have chicken tenders, rice, and desserts that would please a picky eater especially since you are able to try some things out before you order!

This place is a hidden gem in the lakeline mall. The food is delicious and especially the Fries w/ salt are mind blowing. Once you select the right sauce, you can order the food. The atmosphere is very good and modern with spacious table set up. We had a nice time enjoying the food on the weekend.

The place is in front of the mall. Had an overall enjoyable experience and the food was well priced. We got the peri peri chicken tenders with rice it tasted wonderfully. You have a choice between several options that vary based on flavor and spice, and we were allowed to try them all. The cashier and staff were very friendly and it was an overall pleasurable experience. I also wanted to thank the cashier for providing water to my girlfriend when the last sauce was too spicy. I really enjoyed my experience and hope to be back. Also wanted to say the atmosphere is lovely

The food was really good and the service was absolutely fantastic! My boyfriend and I were immediately greeted upon entering and welcomed with many smiles. The staff were all nice. Hidden gem. I came to Lakeline mall for panda express, but after looking at the food, i just couldnt do it. I walked by Peri Peri Republic on the way in but didnt really pay it any attention. On my way out, I saw they had chicken that looked home grilled. While looking at the menu, the cashier (Peter) offered to let me taste their sauces. First off, this was cool. It made me feel like I was on Hot Ones! (iykyk) We went from mild to medium to hot and also tasted 2 new sauces at the end. The sauces are legit. Peter told me about each sauce as I tasted it. They import their spices from Mozambique and you can tell. They have depth, flavor and are all perfectly balanced. I decided to get a piece of chicken and the creamed corn. It took about 7 to 10 minutes which I liked. It wasnt just sitting back there in a hot hold, they cooked it when I ordered it. The flavor was good, and they even set 2 bottles of sauce out on the table that you can use to add heat (the Mozambique sauce) or cut the spice ( the garlic sauce). The service was great, the ingredients and quality of food was great and the price point was also really good. This place is in the mall but I can easily see this being a stand alone restaurant in the future. Definitely coming here again.

Perry Perry Republic is a restaurant located in Lakeline Mall, next to AMC theater. There is a separate entrance to the restaurant. You place your order at the counter. They have both vegetarian and non vegetarian options. Most dishes are served on a bed of rice. Something unique is a wide selection of sauces from very mild to very very spicy. You can sample the sauces to check out the spice level. We had shrimp and chicken dishes. Both were very delicious. Definitely worth checking out. Parking: Located in the mall. Plenty of parking available.

I was recently at the Lakeline Mall for whatever reason when I stumbled upon Peri Peri Republic. Peri peri chicken?? In Austin? This spot was nowhere near my radar and I m often hesitant of mall restaurants, yet I saw a good amount of people in there eating and the food looked good, so I figured: why not? I got the quarter leg and thigh which were so tender as well as their wings which were a great size - both in which I got in their medium sauce which I would suggest because it has a subtly sweet flavor with an enjoyable level of heat to compliment that char flavor of the meat. They even have some of the crispiest fries in town that I ve had in town. I know how it may sound being located at the Lakeline Mall, but don t let that turn you off because the food here was pretty satisfying! I know we have Nando s opening up in the area later this year and I have not been there, so I can t compare the two.

It s located in the mall but also has its own entrance to enter. The inside is wide and spacious so great for large group too. They let us sample all of their sauces from Mozambique, and I choose the medium sauce for my chicken leg and thigh. The chicken is like the Latin American style, so it is healthy but still tastes good. I really like the sauce on my chicken and got their potato salad too. My one critique is that i love the charred pieces, so I wish mine had more charred to it. I also ordered their chicken tenders spicy sauce with rice, and tried their lassi shot dessert. Overall the price is very affordable, food was good, and service was good. Parking: It is located inside the mall, but it is easy to find since it is on the outside with its own entrance too.

Very friendly staff. It was my first time and I was disappointed. I ordered the chicken sandwich and they messed it up twice. The portion was not sufficient as there were only 2 nuggets in the sandwich. Its not even enough for a child. The wings were very good. I will try again but not for the chicken sandwich.

Absolutely love the Mozambique loaded fries! Reminds me of Home, recently moved here from Massachusetts and its hard finding Portuguese Cuisine! Mozambique flavoring is wonderful! Inside of the restaurant is beautiful! Lots of parking. Great to order ahead and pick up! Absolutely recommend
