Good teriyaki, great service. Placing a takeout order through the Toast app was very easy. The extremely friendly gentleman at the counter expedited the order when I told him I was a little early to pick it up, but there s a comic book store to browse next door if you did need to wait. Too bad I hadn t noticed this place sooner; must have driven by a million times! Parking: Large free parking lot with plenty of spots.

We actually stumbled on this place on accident the first day we moved to Cedar Park. They had placed $7 teriyaki bowl signs near the main road, and my daughter thought it sounded good. This place is now one of our go-to places for good quick food, and I cant say enough about the service awesome experience all the way around.

First time here and probably wont come back in a good WHILE. The food taste is great I give it a 8/10. When it come to portion the portions of the beef and chicken are drastically small. Is mostly rice than beef and chicken. So portion wise is 3/10. Price wise is expensive for for a pound of rise and like 4 or 5 pieces of chicken and beef. Not good for your wallet. I give it a 3/10. Overall not a good place to come back but of is a first time is ok.

These teriyaki bowls are amazing especially with the chicken thigh. Skip the white meat upgrade and double up on the dark instead. If you go for the spicy option, be prepared because it s seriously hot. The miso soup is next level, way better than most places. Ever since I found this spot, Ive been hitting it up at least once a week because its just that good. The only thing that could make it better is if they added seaweed to the miso.

Certainly one of the best Teriyaki Chicken bowls in Austin, especially the Buttercup Creek location. Gavin, is amazingly courteous and pleasant. Their orders are always correct and prompt. Vegetarian options: The vegetables are tasty all by themselves. Dietary restrictions: They will accommodate your eating preferences without hesitancy. Parking: Plenty of easy parking. Kid-friendliness: The Snowy flavours are delicious. Wheelchair accessibility: The shopping area is so easy and inviting. It s a great place for a quick stroll.

Decent for a quick teriyaki grab. Teriyaki means grilled chicken, and chicken is definitely the push on the menu. Inflation is obviously having its effect so theyre offering a smaller bowl for just over $8 when their larger regular bowl runs a bit over $12 after tax.

The guy behind the counter was help, friendly, and professional and our food was brought to us in minutes. I m no katsu expert. In fact, this was my first time to have it. But, the katsu was tasty, crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. The rustic cuts of meat in the egg roll make me believe it was made in house. There was also a steady stream of to-go orders while we sat there well after the normal lunch hour so I know we re not the only ones who enjoy this food.

She s unsanitary. This is the third day I ve taken pictures of her she s rude and unsanitary, and she needs to be fired. No one in there weird cats on their head when they re preparing food.

Check out the $7.00 Bowls . The sides are a nice sizes and reasonably priced. The vegetables are fresh, the flavor of the sesame oil really comes through in the rice, it is very well balanced with the portion of peas, carrots, eggs ect (I wish it had a crunch for texture like water chestnuts or bean sprouts). The rice was a little mushy, the Rangoon is delicious and golden with a creamy filling and delicate crunch. The Japanese BBQ burger was a pleasant surprise. Give it a go guy s & gal s

Very underwhelming. I ordered a Protein and veggie bowl. The serving size is very small for the price, barely half full in a normal to-go container. The vegetables received was 50% giant stalks of green onion. more than the broccoli and other more suitable veggies. I called to get clarity on if this was the normal portioning and the representative said it was and tried to blame it on the online ordering company but I confirmed the title of the dish on the ticket and the amount I paid and it was no where near the quality or quantity worth $14 before tax. Will never go here again.

We genuinely appreciate this restaurant. They are always fast, tasty, and consistent. I just had to come back and edit with how much my family loves this food. The orange chicken isnt too saucy/sticky, and theres a slight crunch. The chicken breast is always good, not tendony. Everything is savory and light, and the rice is good. My family has a lot of food sensory issues, and Teriyaki Toms is considered a safe food for us. We order a lot (probably more than we should ), but it is wonderful to have consistently prepared food (even when we order late at night - sorry!!) Highly recommend this restaurant.

*** WARNING - THEY WILL NOT DO SUBSTITUTIONS *** We have been coming here since before the name change as their chicken Teriyaki bowls with their spicy poppyseed sauce (our favorite) are amazing, and had become one of our favorite places to grab a bite to eat. However, husband and I dont eat pork, and we would ask for the egg roll (which is a pork egg roll) that comes with one of the bowls to be swapped with a spring roll, which was never a problem. However, this has recently become more of an issue, and our last visit, we were completely denied the swap, and told by the assistant manager that they cant do substitutions, though not really why (the fact that they dont do substitutions is also not posted anywhere). We then asked if we could just have the Teriyaki bowl without the egg roll then, to which he replied that they couldnt do that either. He then suggested a different teriyaki bowl for us. We asked if it came with the spicy poppyseed sauce, and he replied that it normally doesnt, but he would add it in (not sure why that was okay, but the spring rolls were not). I would have rated fewer stars, but our bowls were made fresh with a good amount of chicken and it did have the spicy sauce. However, I just want to caution others about the fact that they will not substitute things in the orders, as Im sure there are many people out there who also dont eat pork. Because it was such a hassle last time, we may have to unfortunately scout out another place to eat.

I got the veggie bowl, and both the veggies and the shrimp tasted like theyd been frozen and reheated a couple times before making it to me. Shrimp was tough and chewy, veggies were mushy, and everything was pretty flavorless. Maybe their other stuff is better, but this shouldn t even be on the menu. Edit: Added a star as I appreciate the follow-up from the owner; maybe they just had an off day. I m not looking to get paid off or anything, though.

Just the worst food. I mean everything was awful. I love curry and yes I dont mind it being a signature flavor in my food. This was overkill. Please do not eat here thinking you will be getting a teriyaki chicken the way you might be accustomed to. They have their own Flare on their menu. Tread lightly. Ive never had miss soup with curry. I love curry and I love miso, just not together.

There is definitely something in the sauce at this place!!! The staff there is SUPER FRIENDLY & ACCOMMODATING and the food is INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS!!! I went there for the first time on last Monday and had to go back a couple of days later. You will not be disappointed. My family had the teriyaki burger, the cocky burger, and the childs chicken fingers with fries. Theyre more like huge tenders. OMG. I can smell it while Im typing. Parking: Spacious parking lot, or you can pull up to the front. Kid-friendliness: My 6-year old said, Mmmm, this is so tasty. Can we come here again? Yes!!! Yes!!! Yes!!!

Randomly found this place and decided to give it a try. The menu and food quality was promising however the execution was lacking. My food came out at least 15 mins before partners so by the time I got to eat it was cold. The fries were good while they were warm. The entire visit the cooks were practically screaming and singing as they goofed around. Im all for whistle while you work but this was a bit over the top. We couldnt even talk over the noise and antics. Maybe if they were doing their job well it would bevless intolerable but regardless my impression was completely unprofessional. I cant imagine what the owner would have thought to be in the restaurant to witness this. If your goal is to drive people out of your business your cooks are over achieving in that aspect.

I am unsure what the whole deal is with this Teriyaki place. The food was below average. The spicy teriyaki sauce was so sweet, like I am eating concentrated sugar syrup and it was not spicy at all despite being touted as being spicy . I have had Teriyaki multiple times, both in Seattle and here in Austin. There are much better Teriyaki s to be had. Even if you do order, make sure to ask for sauce on the side; it overpowered the whole meat. Where I could not even taste the meat, just the freakin sauce.

Decent, just dont order the drink. It says 22 oz cup, but its not. In the picture, the cup is compared to my 20 oz and 24 oz tumblers. Nobody wants to pay for something that its not. Im not angry, I just prefer honesty. Update: Action was taken and corrections were made. Regardless, my meal fulfilled my hankering for Japanese curry during a tiring work morning. Thank you!

Theres VERY limited tables for dine-in. It was my 1st visit so I ordered a bit more than I normally would to taste more. I had the larger size of beef teriyaki which came with a small salad. I also ordered egg rolls, 2 come in a single order. I asked for white rice and for it to be spicy. The food came out quickly. I really enjoyed the egg rolls. The beef teriyaki was quite good but not spicy. I dont know if they gave me the regular or if they consider what I got to be spicy. It was tasty but not spicy. They have a lunch special which my friend ordered. He asked for it to be spicy but they told him they dont allow that change on the lunch special. They didnt explain why. Parking: Plenty of parking

They have a small interior seating section and a few tables outside. Thankfully, its cooled off a lil so we sat outside. The person who brought our food out to us was super friendly. Expect your food to be very fresh and hot! Will definitely go back! See you soon!

Seattle born and bred here (just moved from home two weeks ago). Can confirm that the teriyaki sauce and style is like Seattle. I d say it s similar to Toshi s in Kirkland s Houghton neighborhood. It checks out and I definitely recommend it if you re looking for Seattle s best comfort food. Couldn t give it a full 5 stars though because the salad dressing was unlike anything I ve ever had in Seattle, it s somewhat similar but not close enough. As for atmosphere, it is different. It s more modern/trendy (think BB s Teriyaki a little bit), and less hole in the wall. They don t use the classic container, and they re just playing a rock music playlist (when like every teriyaki place in Seattle faintly plays Christian radio in the background lol). Will I be back? For sure. Does it hit the spot? Mostly. Is it the same? No, but definitely come here if you re needing your yaki fix. Go M s, Hawks, Sounders, Kraken, Storm, Seawolves, Huskies, Falcons, and Bring Back Our Sonics!

The food is incredibly good but their online ordering system through toast is abysmal, it almost always messes something up and if you order delivery it s just a middle man for deliveries through door dash or Uber eats but with no tracking info so if your food never shows up you re SOL. Unfortunately even getting food for pickup is a pain because of their choice of online platform, I d stick to ordering through your preferred delivery app or going in in person to ensure your order makes it to the cook line accurately. 2 stars because of how frustrating it is that I finally found good vegetarian food but on a platform that has made every one of my last 3 visits a huge drag. Again, food is truly out of this world, just avoid the toast platform.

I ordered the tofu yakisoba and the tofu fried rice through DoorDash. The yakisoba was okay, lots of acidity and spice which I like. The fried rice, however, had me wondering if they freeze their food. The veggies did not taste fresh at all, and at first I thought the sour smell was just whatever sauce they used, but the smell was absolutely vile. I have no idea what their process of preparing the food is, but they need to change it. I m not picky with my fried rice, so the fact that I m writing this means that there s something wrong here.
