Decided to stop in Koreatown in Carrollton, Texas. Tried this restaurant, as they have a $9.99 lunch special. Its Bi Bim Bap. It is awesome. The food quality is high. Portion size is huge. Served almost instantaneously. Its now my favorite lunch place when I am in the area. Vegetarian options: This is the kind of place which would care about your dietary needs. However, they would probably overlook there is shrimp or anchovy base in the Kimchi for example.

I have been twice. The visits were a year or so apart. This place is very unassuming, no frills whatsoever, but the food is SO good! It is a little on the note expensive side, but for the quality the prices are fair. I really enjoyed both visits to this lovely restaurant.

I am a Korean American and have had Korean food ALL MY LIFE. This place has the absolute worst Korean dishes I ve had pure and simple. The white rice was the best thing on the table. The fact that my family were the only Koreans in the restaurant should have been a tip. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I came here with my wife before and the first time we had Korean ramen and didn t like it but the second time we had the chicken teriyaki and I m glad we gave it a second chance because that was great. The kimchi here is good too and with the rice and chicken you get such a good meal. The waitresses are nice ladies that are attentive and the place is clean.

This was a serious disappointment. Worst Asian restaurant Ive ever been to. They brought me the wrong order (which was way more expensive). But it was something I would also typically get - Bulgogi, so I ate it. The meat was lacking in flavor and a majority of it was fatty stringy bits. The sides were all pickled and some just inedible. If this was my first experience with Bulgogi I would never have ordered it again. My husbands soup was gross. It barely had any noodles or beef and just these long, brownish beans. The broth was very watery and not good.

I walked into an empty restaurant, and the older woman working immediately asked me if my order was to go instead of asking me if I wanted the option to dine in. She passed me the menu, and I saw a photo of a dish I wanted, but could not find the price of. When i asked her where the dish was listed in the menu she just kept telling me it was the bibimbap. I ended up leaving. You can tell when someone doesnt want your business.

I ordered tteokguk, but the tteok smelled really bad from the refrigerator... I came with my group, but when they checked, they didnt even ask for a separate item, so they just gave it to me and walked away... When I tried to ask, I wanted to leave quickly, but they didnt come back (even when I pressed the call button, they came very late 4 times). (as if pressed) I went in without looking at the restaurant rating, but theres a reason why all restaurants get a rating of 4 or lower. The prices were so expensive that I thought about leaving at first, but I was so disappointed. Small flies keep flying around and its so annoying.

My friend and I came here and were seated immediately in a very private enclosed booth. Our server was efficient and attentive and the food was absolutely delicious. The banchan side dishes were delicious and the kimchi was a particular standout, bubbling in your mouth with sharp fermentation. My friend got the hot pot bibimbap and I got the soft tofu mushroom stew. The bimbimbop had perfectly crispy rice and the mushroom stew was a delicious bubbling cauldron of soup, which was cooled to an edible temperature by an egg I was given to crack into the soup. All in all a delightful experience

08/02: took my mother here and this time we had the dolsot bibimbap (mother loved it), seafood pancake (more green onions than seafood), and the grilled mackerel (huge). So, was a little disappointed with the pancake but everything else was very good, just pricey! Their cold noodles are so good here! We also had the short rib/ramen combo, beef bulgogi, and spicy pork. They also had the purple rice when we requested (for a fee for the noodles/entree combo). Pricey for lunch but tasty!

Went to this place for dinner. As noted in other reviews, the place is quite dark, and the seating structure lends itself for more intimate settings with conversations. I wouldnt call the place particularly lively if thats the mood youre going for. The service was fine. They checked in on the table a few times and refilled drinks when indicated. The food was really just average. There was an abundance of it, as noted in the picture. I got the combination plate with beef bulgogi and cold spicy noodles. There was definitely a nice kick to it, but nothing was overpowering. The beef was seasoned well, but overall, the food wasnt spectacular. Vegetarian options: There was a lot of tofu options on the menu.

It has been my first experience with Korean food. It was an enjoyable one. The staff was friendly from the moment we walked in. I love the booth layout of the restaurant, it gives your table privacy. My husband ordered Korean tea to drink, it was the corn one, odd taste but went well with the spicy food. We got the leek pancake, beef bulgogi pot and spicy tofu soup. It came with a table full of side dishes such as fish cake, radish, kimchi, pickled cucumber etc. The waitress was attentive and kind, also very patient when it took me longer to decide. I went there by chance because I wanted to eat Korean food, but I dont want to go there in the future. There werent many people, but the service was slow and the food was so-so. The last bill... the female owner paid with the bill from the table next to me, and if I hadnt seen the receipt, I wouldnt have noticed. And the thing that made me very angry was that I had to cancel and re-pay, but I guess they made a mistake with the payment machine, so I waited for close to 20 minutes and the male owner said he had to give me something for waiting too long, but the female owner said she was sorry, but paid with all the tips. He said so. Our group, who had been waiting, just came out laughing helplessly. I dont think Ill ever go again.

Musiro is my go to spot when I come to the area. Other reviews say bad customer service, I disagree. I think maybe our expectations are different. Because I think they have one of the best customer service. They are all very sweet every time I go, and quick to get refills of drinks and sides when we ask. I ate here also before I went vegan, and I still eat here after because they have an option for me which is the bibimbap without meat or egg. They are fast service, so can eat and leave quickly. Maybe if you want to sit down and catch up with old friends, this is maybe not the spot for you to do that. I like it. Also I like the calm atmosphere. Some other restaurants are just too loud. If you think this is good food and/or service, then you need to get out more and try some other restaurants in this area. The spicy stir fried squid (Ojingeo-bokkeum) was bland as was the spicy chicken. The kalbi was good. However, the real problem is the bad service. The ladies we dealt with were unfriendly and seemed angry that we asked for more kimchi. Then when ringing up the bill, the gentleman behind the counter tried to add $3 dollars to our credit card. He said he punched the wrong button, but it appeared that he was trying to secretly add to the bill. I recommend that you avoid this restaurant and try one of the better ones like Omi or others nearby.

I walked in the door and the first thing I receive is a warm Hello! and a smile from the waitress. The place looked decent, neat, clean and with a homemade touch. I ordered the spicy chicken with a side of rice. My mother ordered some fish soup and my father got grilled fish. The chicken with rice combination made a great dinner. Chicken tasted great with the onions, although it couldve been spicier (and Im sensitive to spicy stuff!). The rice tasted comfortable and it felt like home. I really recommend the white rice. The sides were also interesting; the potatoes with some sweet sauce were good, and the cucumber with some spicy sauce was zesty. Oh, and my iced tea was really good. 2 Splendas and it was perfect If youre a fan of Korean food, this should be a consideration for you.

We ordered Spicy Seafood Rice Hot Stone pot, Spicy Squid and Pork and Leek Pancakes. The food was nice and hot, spice level was great and did not disappoint. They served 6 different banchan with miso soup, was uhm-kay, nothing special. But it s free! To-go boxes were a lil on the small side. The lady said to make it fit. Therefore, we of course didn t tip them, however, the owner stopped us and requested us to tip. We told her how we felt, she didn t show her respect but told us to leave right away. This place used to be decent, came here recently for soon tofu, which should be their specialty, since thats in the name of their restaurant. First, taste is really subpar. Blend of the most blend soups. I thought they boiled water and added food coloring. Honestly I can buy premade one from Hmart next door and that tastes better. Second, bad service. They werent rude but doesnt ask to refill side dish, water etc. Other places do so why come here? This is really unfortunate. Ive seen a lot of restaurants start with determination and conscience to do well... then they make some money and the quality goes down noticeably, because focus becomes money. Probably will not come back here, rather try my luck somewhere else. I really hope they rethink about the way they run business, or maybe they got a new owner and they dont care anymore so long tables can turn profit.

We used to come to this restaurant regularly for seafood tofu soup but its quality is getting worse every time. The taste is not consistent and only a few small cheap frozen seafood in our soup. The price is expensive too. We already stopped going to this place. There is a new BCD Tofu House across the street came from California close to 99 Grand Market where we now go to every time. BCD Tofu restaurant is all about quality and service they use real seafood and their soups taste awesome every time. Sorry Musiro we have to remove you from our list.

If there is a Zero star, I ll give it to them. I have been a regular customer for last 10 years, and this time I will NEVER and EVER coming back this place. I ordered a mild tofu soup for my parents. When the food was served, I tasted it because the soup was super red. The soup was super spicy comparing to my medium spicy tofu soup. I told the lady that I ordered mild soup. She gave me an attitude about their spicy level is different to other restaurant. But I just wanted them to answer me why the mild soup is spicier than the middle spicy. A manager came over the table and she gave me the same attitude. They did not want ever fix the soup. The manager and waitress were ready for yelling at us. We left and had to pay the full bill when we just started the dinner. TERRIBLE SERVICE !!!!

The food was one of the worst Korean food Ive had since I remember eating Korean food. The service was not great as well. You have to ask for every little thing. Theres plenty of Korean food near by and Ive had much better. The food either had no taste or way too salty. And if you see the pictures of the menu, its not exactly what you get. The seafood soup in the picture showed shrimp. It had shrimp but about a tenth of thr size. Thats kinda ridiculous. I will not be coming back for sure.

This place is amazing! We just came for lunch and had such amazing service. The waitstaff was all so friendly and quick, and our food was hot and tasty. We ordered the Leek Pancake, Tteok-bokki with dumplings and the beef bulgogi. We thought it was all really delicious. We liked how they included banchan with the beef. They also have many quiet, secluded booths for quiet conversation. I would come back and I recommend!

Food was okay. But Customer Service here is terrible. The old lady chased after us to ask if we paid OMG, we did. So I reminded her with 10$ cash tip, she remembered immediately. Also show her the Bank charged me already. They re too old to run a business, go get your retirement check.

The customer service my friends and I received during our time here was terrible. The kimchi soup on the menu stated in the description that there would be kimchi and pork in the soup. There was no pork. The waitress also passive aggressively told me and my friends that we were pressing the call button too many times after only just 3 times during our entire stay. Would not recommend coming here.

First time trying Korean food here in Carrollton. I really enjoyed the Korean leek pancake and vegetable and tofu stew. They have very good vegetarian options. I ordered online and when I picked up the food was hot and ready. Their to go packages are well secure and keeps food hot. Great service, I will defiantly visit again to dine in next time.

Their soon tofu is terrible. They add entirely too much sesame oil to their soup that it s overly empowering and you can t even taste what the actual soup tastes like. Everything else on their menu is just alright. I think they bank on the non Koreans dining at their establishment. Since they honestly probably don t know any better. Would recommend branching out to other Korean restaurants.

I had lunch today. I love their quick and efficient service. I don t like to spend lots of time in restaurant because it s not special meal to me like Mc Donalds in here. I had oyster soft tofu soup and galbi. Soup was mild but I like it, I wish galbi was cooked more. That s only reason I gave 4 stars.

Unfortunately my friend and I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The staff was rude as soon as we sat down and it did not end throughout the meal. They never stopped by to even offer a refill of water. The only time they stopped by twice was to give us the check, and not even a minute later to ask if we were done. If the staff had been nicer, this rating would be completely different because the food was nice but I wasnt able to enjoy it. Terribly disappointed to say the least.

This is a family owned Korean restaurant that I think has some of the best of its food in the area. Their bibimbap portions are huge and delicious. I also tried their vegetable soondobu jigae which was very good. Because I ordered to-go I wasn t expecting any banchan but they added in so much of it for me to take to-go. I will continue to support this lovely restaurant!

My family and I loved the food menu options. The hot pots are so delicious. What we really hated was the customer service. They attendants always seemed rushed and want to rush you out. The waitress that took care of our menu hardly spoke a word in English and it was hard to understand what she was trying to explain. She didn t come to check on us. We had to stop another attendant for refills. While we were still eating, the waitress brought us our check. My husband decided to give her the credit card payment while we were still eating. This was bad on our part. After he paid, we were being rushed to finish and get out because they had more people waiting for a table. We thought the waitress was joking asking us to leave but she was serious. We stayed and finished our food and chat. The staff was not happy but you can t rush people after they paid and haven t finished their food. That s plain rude. I don t care how good the food was, this is not a place that offers great Customer service.

I have been there multiple times before and the horrible experience I had today will surely mark an end to that. The food used to be above average, but after the pandemic happened the quality has dropped dramatically, I would recommend people avoid this place, there are other decent Korean food in the hmart plaza

The owner is very nice and attentive. When i went to the restaurant, she was the only who is seating people, taking orders, and bringing in food. Shes good at multitasking while still being able to take care of all her customers.

I have been coming to this restaurant for many years, and usually customer service was okay, but today I felt unwelcome since we walked in. The moment we sat down, the older lady didn t even ask what we like to drink, just asked Water? So we just agreed and not want to say anything else. Does she think we do no have money to spend here?! I know we are not Korean, but do need to disrespect me and my friend. She never came to check up on us while we ate. Later, she randomly drop a check off at the table, we didn t even ask for one. She was rushing us at an empty restaurant. After I check out, she just stand there in front of the table waiting for us to leave the table. I never felt more rushed in a dine in restaurant in my life. This has make me so speechless and mad, I will never ever come back to this restaurant. I usually come to 5-10 X a year with friends/family. You just lost a customer.

Located near H Mart in Carrollton, Musiro offers delicious Korean combo dishes at reasonable prices. Your best bet is to take advantage of their daily lunch menu which runs from 10:00am to 3:00pm. I recommend you try their BBQ Beef Ribs with Seafood Tofu Soup which is outstanding! The staff on location was friendly and food didnt take too long before coming out; it was served beautifully on traditional Korean hot pots. Food portions are reasonable but contrary to other Asian alternatives, not generous enough to split with someone else. Overall, Musiro is a great alternative should you want to take a break from the usual Tex-Mex menu every now and then and try yummy Asian food!
